More than half and I still can't see any development... Where's the plot? Where's character growth?

I'll give it a three for being funny and making me laugh.

Edit: After finishing, I can only say, so pathetic. The "villains" and cannon fodders are so pathetic. There is no sense of fulfillment when MC face slaps them, if that can be even called face slaps. Charac growth is like peakaboo, showing and then hiding. And lastly, the MC is too annoying.

I give this a 2.5 out of five (I couldn't halve the star so) and that's purely because it made laugh so much, like, It was FUNNY so when you dive into this, don't expect a great story (it's not even decent) or good characters, but be prepared to laugh at how ridiculous everything is.

3 star for the writing, is very mediocre but it may still be a good casual read for those that don’t want to get too invested.

I decided to drop this at chapter 3. The characters seem 2 dimensional and shallow. For example in chapter 1, the MC is transmigrated into another person’s body with zero knowledge of what’s going on BUT some how he straight away knows what to do. (⌒_⌒;)

In chapter 2, MC type caste ML as a dedicated hard worker... like dude, you known him for like... more>> 2 minutes... judge much?

Also, he is magically able make ML the lead actor for a movie by giving the director 30 million....I am pretty sure that’s not how it works... What about other investors? Also isn’t this bribery? Plus 30 million isn’t all that much for a movies (assuming it’s 30 million yuan)

Also, he keeps bragging that he loves d*** and is h**ny as hell. Is only been 3 chapters, calm down. <<less

I have to say- this is the first review I've ever written for a book, mainly because there hasn't been a book that really drove me to write a review before, so I'm a bit (hah- VERY) inexperienced in this area, but I'll try my best to entertain.

This is honestly one of the sweetest, funniest (and by funny, I mean shove a sock in your mouth if you're reading this at night type of funny-) novel I've read (which, is saying a lot considering how I practically go through novels... more>> like fast food) and it's definitely not something you would lose out on by reading. I won't say you'll regret not reading it since you can't regret what you haven't experienced, but you definitely won't regret reading it if you do.

This has a pinch of everything- albeit more focused on romance, it's not centered completely around face-slapping, the business world, battling against the protagonist and his "harem, " or cleaning up a mess that the "original" made or left behind (which does get a tad bit exhausting when it becomes too excessive. Hey--I'm not here to read bout the MC wipe the original owner's ass), so even if transmigration novels aren't exactly your cup of tea (or coffee, to each their own) I'd say just give it a shot.

This stands to be one of the best BL novels that I've read, and it's completed, so- why not? <<less

If you are expecting a good plot, deep characters, and substance, do not read. If you are looking for a LOT of faceslapping and comedy then READ! :) When I want a funny and easy story that requires no thinking, this is the story! I cannot express how funny this story is!!!

I like this because of the face slapping and how stress relieving this is. It really makes you happy, don’t need to take note of the small details because this is mainly a fluff novel. Does it make complete sense? I don’t know, I’m not rich. But I think 90% of the plot is dubious but reading this makes me extremely happy because both MC and ML are just so sweet for each other. Their interactions are tooth rottingly cute. This was exactly what I was looking for.

One of the best transmigration novel I've read so far. The plot is not too heavy and very hilarious. Plus the side couples are super cute.

First is the MC Rong Qing. I must say he adapts very quick and very eccentric in a good way, calling himself “daddy” (in his thought at first but then he eventually slipped). I love it when he flaunts his wealthiness around, such a big boss.

Next is the ML Lin Ji. He’s is a “wolf pup” and kinda awkward and skeptical at the beginning when... more>> interacting with Rong Qing. However after consulting with his brother in law he begins to court the MC.

I also like it when the MC (s*upidly) waits 2 years before agree to be in a relationship with the ML. This period makes everyone from both the CEO circle, the entertainment circle and the fan get used to their “broship”. The reason why he waits 2 years is because of the original soul’s request. And yes this detail is also a plot twist at the extra.

It seems that the original soul was expelled of the MC’s body, and “something” occupied the body. So the original soul had to occupy Sweet Pea’s body - which is the secretary’s cat. The cat was probably dead so... Apparently no one noticed this apart from the secretary, who is in love with his senior (the original soul, the MC before the transmigration). They got together at the end (the secretary and Sweet Pea who can change into human) so happy ending. After all of these event happened, our MC is transmigrated.

The characters, especially the capturing targets, are all hilarious and pitiful in some cases.

Some are the victims of the MC when he want to flaunt how rich he is, they are forcefully have to eat lemons. One is a caring uncle and one is a big boss likes to collecting rents when wearing flip flops.

The novel is so good that I read it in one go, just stop to study, eat and sleep. It’s so good that I have many urges to translate it into my mother tongue. So definitely recommend this one <<less

don't take this novel seriously, the story itself doesn't pretend to be anything but pure indulgence of fluff and comedy. Like one reviewer had said, this is just for sht and giggles, lol.

the MC outwardly looks cool and CEO-boss type but his internal monologue is that of a thirsty bottom perving over the ML. ML on the other hand is like an awkward baby wolf at the start and by the end of it, is a full grown wolf.

read this if you just want mindless fluff and comedy.

Ok I admit its not really a 5 star but more like a four. But! The comedy is gold, very light hearted and fluffy. I like the setting of an all powerful MC shou and little actor ml. Both characters really try their best to be the best to/for each other, its very sweet! Its also very funny to see the inner thoughts of our MC which makes him seem so very different from his outwardly cable and serious settings (only when someone mentions it do I even remember how... more>> he actually appears to outsiders) although he is always very straight forward about himself to the ml.

(there's a serious lack of female characters but considering its a story about a white lotus shou and his gay harem its kinda understandable) <<less

Wonderful! I finished reading the story, so I will write my thought on it! Thanks for the translator for doing a wonderful job at translating! As I said previously, first part of the story started off pretty good. MC transmigrated into a tyrant from a book, he is carefree and a proud sexy bottom. I really liked the development that of each characters had as the story went on.

Anyway, as I mentioned earlier, there isn't really much to say from my part on this story. Mostly because of the difference between the other novels I've read, there is not much of a deeper plot. There is no huge drama or tragedy, if we can put it in one word it would be "simple". But! It's not a critic, on the contrary it's a compliment. The novel seems to concentrate more on the comic undertone, like hilarious drama and events happening and the romance. It's refreshing to read it and there is no need to put much thought inside. If you want to read a simple story with no deep plot, with some fluff and casual like feeling, then go ahead! This novel has some kind of homely like aura, even if there is indeed some crazy moments happening it's fun to read it. The ending is satisfying and sweet, it makes me crave for more. Thought, I wish that they mentioned what happened about the two side characters.

But yeah, it's better to see it yourself, because reviews sometimes influence the way you see a story and most of the reviews are just different point of views of the readers. Of course, there is some exceptions, sometimes readers agree on the same points and they are true.
Still, it's better to see by yourself and have your own view. You may like it, dislike it or just feel "meh" but at least you would have a thought of it. ;)

Highlight: hilarious characters. Boss Rong (MC) slaps everyone with money whenever he wishes to. A white lotus having a harem? Educate harem members with money. "Can you earn and spend money like daddy?" netizens spraying slanders - daddy Rong's lawyer department is waiting to send you a court letter. Unhappy? Time to spend money. I really, really love this novel! The way RQ mind's work is so effing hilarious! This is a great read! If you want to just laugh while passing time, this book is IT!

First off, a warning for all lovely readers, this novel requires the suspension of belief at several times~

That being said, it is one of the few novels that I have re-read multiple times because dear lord, the comedy! Matches my taste splendidly! It's a romcom that's super fun and fluffy!

I also like how the shou is the sugar daddy~ the gong is also very tsun and cute ba! The little reversal in dynamic is also very tasty~

The synopsis summarizes the plot of this novel pretty accurately. Personally, I think this novel could have been a bit shorter; there wasn't any need for so many chapters, the plot isn't complicated, it's really simple, and yet it's still enjoyable. I reaaally wanted to finish this novel, I really did. I'm not the kind of person that just posts a review without reading the novel first, but I just can't keep on reading.

It started good, you know, like a silly transmigration novel. I wasn't really taking it seriously, but it just got so annoying.

You can litteraly skip like 3 chapters and it doesn't matter, nothing will change.

Sometimes he was funny and all, but there's a limit yk. He's just unlikeable, he's spoiled, all he cares about is showing off his money (not just a couple of times for the hahas, it's CONSTANTLY, that's like his whole personality), he gives mixed signals to the ML all the time too, everything he gets its through money so I don't feel any sincerity from him at all, either with the ML or the side characters.

Also, at least until chapter 70 there's absolutely no character development.

The only good thing about this novel was the ML (he was cute), and Assistant He and his cat, those were the only characters I liked.

Oh and the translation is really good, I really appreciate that.

Its a nice slow burn romance. The characters are pretty quirky, and I give 10/10 for character development. Its just that the romance is such a sloooooww slow burn that it gets a bit tedious at times, especially at times when it repeatedly reminds the readers why its a slow burn.

Overall its a great story, just not something I can read continuously because other scenarios just get repetitive.
