For example, when MC kept thinking that major and his tree are different people on what ML never commented and kept 'deceiving' his partner waiting for MC to finally see the truth. In the end, instead of telling truth and not worry MC, our lion finally figured it out on his own.... well okay, maybe some play after meeting each other...

However, then comes moment of bitter tea on which ML never commented and kept drinking not to make his lion 'sad'? This situation instead of cute felt weird, you guys are old couple and know each other preferences then why not talk openly instead of bearing with it? Of course, kind-hearted secondary character pointed out to our MC to try tea he brewed. On the other hand, part with fertiliser which is almost 'poison' (or not almost) to the tree was never talked over, though I think author just put this part for that 'poo ball' which flew into prince's room as comedy gag (what was actually satisfying).

Anyway, I wish these two talked more about their insecurities and things they like/dislike to make 'old' couple stronger and feel like they really dated for long time already. I wish ML also pointed out to MC that he doesn't need to fight anymore, I mean they are in relatively stable environment with no need to fight zombies plus ML also had trauma of MC blowing up so why not to explain to MC or at least let him be soldier so he can in future be able fight 'Zerg' (I know MC had unstable core, but this can be solution for later use since his Lion is so fond of fighting....) Where is his determination from the first half of novel, not to indulge MC to fight anymore?

Talking about engraving.... I wish author spent a bit more time on explaining on how our MC managed to grasp this engraving process so fast and even simplify them! I will again use comparison to Number One Merchant, in that novel MC was making sculptures in his original world and of course had experience which he implemented later, but he still needed to learn some techniques from new world what made process logical. Now let's look on MC lion of this novel, we know he has ability which lets him have more understanding of metal, but that's it. We never know how exactly he figured it out just by looking at patterns in store and it was never explained. I truly wish there was more fluent way to show his progress plus there was moment of 'school', but our couple entered and left almost immediately and it was never mentioned again. I would like to also point out how such impatient and love to fight lion can take time to sit and engrave cards, it's a bit inconsistent with his personality...

Another part which greatly disappointed me is how their 'child' which they supposed to 'love and spoil' was just there for looks. 'Parents' rarely paid him attention and I don't even remember if they kept promise of hugging him... In the end, they just made him new 'prince' to be 'emperor', gave him better castle and nanny robot and left for cure... That is not a fluffy situation I came for...

Talking about 2nd part of plot aka 'looking for cure' which... was the most frustrating thing ever! I mean look they were clever enough to find all drugs and information on experiments which shows that they can do research (tho done by robot) ! Why suddenly when they came to Beast Planet their IQ dropped dramatically! They came to planet they know nothing about and ML finally sees that stone has some effect on his lion. Why they didn't ask beastmen why they were so after those stones? This is like the very first question they should have asked for! It was very frustrating to see them go long way of useless cub lion cute moments and MC wondering why they kept looking for more stones since ML never mentioned that stone was having effect on MC. I felt like breath of fresh air when Old Master came and finally explained MC situation, but even like this our couple still didn't look for explanation on net or asked more details. They just thought they are done with small statues and can do deed safely to finally return on next day since 10 from 20+ stones broke and just saying that they are too fragile (facepalm).

Anyway! Here comes part which readers like me who read previous novel of this author and who were waiting for appearance of Number One Merchant couple! Just small meeting would have been enough, but in the end it was very brief, they just saw Aojia and never Rong Rong who made them huge statue... and here novel finished. We don't have any extras if they came back to their 'son', we never got wedding in their capital, it was finished just like that... 'old' couple finally could roll in the sheets to find huge statue of tree and lion outside window (?) and 'poof' novel is finished.

Author... it was too abrupt.... even cliffhangers not as cruel....

when the were searching for the stone energy that means the ML already know about it but he didn’t know about the carved stone nor anything about it, it was weird; also considering he was the ambassador sent to the beastmen for friendship? He didn’t know about the president of the beastmen world the black dragon aojia and his lover rong rong. He must also spend some time to search for information on beastmen when he was searching for the MC, so I found it really weird that he lacked so much knowledge about them

The end is kinda rushed and the story could had gone 30 chapters more and could play more on the ralationship of the 2 instellar empires and maybe get to know what happened to the zerg civil war as it sounds like the storyline is shortly after the end of Lazy Merchant. And the main characters of both stories could maybe had met.
