Ren, a ten-year-old orphan, was en route to being delivered to a corrupt merchant. However, bandits attacked the carriage she was on and caused it to plummet down the sides of a cliff.

The impact of the accident unexpectedly awoke her memories from a past life – she was once from a world called Earth, a researcher in his mid-thirties who had died in an explosion resulting from an experiment gone awry.

According to her new memories, she was born in another world and grew up in an orphanage. In order to escape a miserable future, Ren will draw upon the knowledge from her past life to create new forms of magic and survive.

So... yeah. It's basically an OP chara living her leisure life, following the Slice of Life genre through and through.

Just like SoL genre, it got trapped in the same ‘non-plot’ problem. The saving aspect of this series is in MC's personality; she's definitely not a “seigi no mikata”-type and instead an “I saved you because I feel like doing it”-type of MC. Even when someone is in perilous situation, she can just ignore them because she's unrelated to their trouble, and she has no conscience to even feel guilty about... more>> it... oh maybe she does, but it's only to the point of “My bad. Started good, like the tenth first chapters then became below tr*sh tier level, typical japanese isekai when the MC do absolutely nothing besides cooking and eating. This novel doesn't have any single selling point, no plot, child protagonist, yes-man protagonist, dumbass protagonist, annoying characters, cooking and eating based novel.

No point reading this, don't waste your time and find something interesting to read, this novel is utterly boring.

It's another stereotypical Japanese isekai where the protagonist dies for some random reason and reincarnates in a different world before starting their second life. To put a mild spin on things, this one adds in a gender bender scenario which adds nothing to the overall non-existent plot. Read if you like isekai or just feel like wasting some time. To me, this one falls in the bin of shitty wish-fulfillment : "ah geez, I grew up as a single, virigin male and my life s**ked, so please Isekai Gods let... more>> me be reincarnated as loli this time around!".

Spoiler

Unfortunately, like many other isekais, this novel falls victim to all the same cliches and tropes that can frustrate readers :

    • The protagonist is a reincarnated, sheltered, beta, Japanese-yes-man
        • She m*sturbates a lot and a good portion of what she does is exploring her new female body and s*xual proclivities : breasts, p**sy, etc.
        • Doesn't think deeply about her actions or the consequences of her actions despite living as an adult -- many isekais fail at this : an adult protagonist retrogresses to the mindset of a h**ny, middleschooler who's never interacted with a girl before; why even bother with making it isekai? (to join on the bandwagon for sales)
    • Granted all-mighty, plot-destroying cheat magic
        • Learns the omniscient, aprasial magic found in RPGs
        • Gets creation magic in 3 chapters
        • Easily becomes friends with powerful monsters -- Fenrirs Norn and Bell in this case
    • Is a member of a special, all-power race known as a "Celestial"
        • Does nothing for the plot, just a poor background explanation on her cheat powers and status
        • To explain her loli-body : extremely well developed breasts and such in comparison to her height
    • Uses her powers to do nothing but...
        • Create an advanced standard of living in a Middle Age world: make medicine, garden, build a house, re-create Japanese cuisine
        • Obviously m*sturbate since the protagonist was a beta in past life that did nothing but visit the red-light district as his main hobby
        • Also makes clothing like garter belts and such -- wouldn't be surprised if she started making s*x toys
        • Get into trouble by revealing her "powers" to others -- typical "oh-sh*t I made medicine that can cure illnesses, and now I must leave before everyone figures out my identity"

If you like other "slow life" and "I just want to live in peace even though I'm OP" type of manga, then this light novel will be a good read for you. It satisfies my guilty pleasure of slice-of-life-esque story troupes in another world while using knowledge from the previous life. The other reviews here are valid and it does get hard to read due to that but I still think its worth reading.

To be honest, I enjoy this web novel quite a lot. It’s easygoing, has its fair share of annoying characters that aren’t overbearingly annoying, and has a plot that actually moves (somewhat, though it’s not a very world-changing plot thus far). The MC, while being fairly naive, is quite likeable. The fact that she doesn’t tiptoe around how she feels about the other characters is quite refreshing. The only problem is that the web novel begun a hiatus at chapter 138, and that was over a year ago. This is... more>> probably because the author is writing the light novel instead of the web novel. Wish it was like other novels where the author spends time writing the web novel and adapts the web novel to a light novel form. A lot more accessible to a western audience, but I can understand from a business perspective. <<less

I rate it quite average. It's your typical feel good isekai LN so far, the protagonist has a cheat and overpowered, nothing bad, nothing new and exciting. If you're a avid isekai consumer, well go ahead.

It falls into the trap of 'cooking syndrome' which is common in isekai, but I can't deny it, I like my food. The typical 'modern knowledge' flick is also there, (RIP common sense-chan) the people in this world are blown away, etc, nothing too exciting. As it's also a genderbend it does dwell on... more>> it, but doesn't have a very memorable impact yet, except for the le*d bits, which I support.

It's pretty average, however the protagonist personality is quite unique (from most isekai protags), this adds a little bit of spice, to your average isekai. This personality controls her interacions with others giving senarios which keeps the readers glued.

Overall pretty solid LN. <<less

Stop me if you've read this one before. Sleazy/loner 30 year old guy gets reincarnated as a young girl in I Can't Believe Its Not DragonQuest. Said MC starts out battered and bruised with no power but starts with a few 'cheat' skills and can acquire new JRPG skills faster than usual. After establishing himself, MC interacts with the world with a unique worldview that mostly just boils down to "I don't want to get involved, but end up getting involved anyway".

As of chapter 22, this series doesn't seem to... more>> do anything to differentiate itself. It takes the few interesting unique ideas in the premise and grinds them away into isekai paste in short order. About the only thing notably different are several sections that are prime /r/menwritingwomen territory. As somebody who interacts regularly with japanese culture, I'm absolutely no stranger to 'creepy undertones with women and underage girls' but uh- this one has some choice bits.

I'm still curious enough about this one to check back in a couple years from now, but at this point its not something I can recommend. <<less

So far a great story that can be changed easily in many ways, by that I mean that with the MC's current situation of the spot I'm reading in the story is that anything can happen because of her flexible powers and situation with no ties to the place she is staying at.

Seems like it will become a great story and has tons of potential, also is a very fun read for now and I really enjoy it.

The only problem I am seeing is the m*sturbation scenes but it seems... more>> like they will be rare and somehow tied into the story.

I hate slice of life stories, but this seems to be a slight exception since I'm a fan of gender benders. <<less

  1. Cooking.
  2. Sexualizing underage (not even in puberty?) children.
  3. Boring.
  4. There is no plot.
  5. Characters are inconsistent and they just feel copy paste of each other.
  6. No mecha in sight yet.
Somehow this novel managed to get manga adaptation. Freedom of speech has limits too, just because it's fictional you shouldn't be dropping this low. Premise was good but author's lack of talent and morals ruined whole novel.

This novel is like the combination of "kumo desu ga" and "kuma kuma kuma bear", that is tone down the quality. Pretty good I guess, its just I hate that there so many "parasite" with her. She always said that she dont want to stand out but still do things that will make her stand out. Everyone complained about her body being like an adult despite just an 11 yrs old, but she wasnt even a human to begin with, so I dont think much about that.

at the start, it was mildly interesting, and even though it was quite a cliche still an enjoyable read. However as it went on it was just another oo look female good male tr*sh type of thing even If it was not one. The MC almost never stopped to do anything more above "edgy mc". Like it's too troublesome to teach a guy how to cook a dish but its fine to teach like 10 people math and Japanese. All of this I can say ok to because it's not... more>> all bad and isekais are usually like this.

tldr: this thing isn't about surviving in a harsh new world anymore, its glorified food p*rn sprinkled with a bit of male discrimination. <<less

What is there to say? Ren is an interesting character. It's a laid back sort of slice-of-life isaki. Gives off a less mature "I Will Survive using Potions" kinda feel mixed with some "Core.001". Kinda bland, like wheat bread with only mayo.

IMHO, it's not worth it to read this unless you're really bored or your like me and like slice-of-life stuff.

I like the story so far.

It does have some typical Japanese elements like the MC being a Japanese food cook and lover, but aren't we all spoiled rotten when it comes to FOOD?

About the MC trying to live peacefully and failing because she has a working conscience... No, I don't think I need to comment further.

Her denial of the reason she acts and the clearly false excuses given are typical for both first person point of view and young children. Remember she is an 11 year old girl even if... more>> she has some of the memories of a 30 year old man.

Thankfully the translator provides us with a 3rd person point of view translation.

The MC randomly exploring her abilities to make whatever can provide her with more luxury or catches her attention... I would do the same, <<less

For whatever reason, the author gave the MC the body of a sexy 21 year old... But despite that, she is 11 years old. Don't believe me on her looks? Look at the light novel illustrations. Surprisingly, there's already a Manga for this LN. I recommend to look at the illustrations there.

I'll never understand what the author is thinking, but I digress. This IS a Japanese author, so there is bound to be some level of degeneracy in here.

So far, the MC isn't a pushover, and does what is necessary.... more>> However, they barely have a motive, because all they want is "a quiet life". <<less

Typical bland isekai, nothing worth reading here. The translation posted on RE-Llibrary is pretty dry, it could use a proofreader (assuming it's not just a machine translation). The LN illustrations are nice at least. I would actually just recommend reading the manga instead.

By the way, you can skip the first 10 chapters or so. Absolutely nothing you haven't read before in your typical OP isekai happens here. She experiments with her new power, Creation Magic (sound familiar?), she builds a house, realizes how awesome she is, and goes hunting. No,... more>> seriously, you can completely skip these chapters. There, saved you 10 chapters of copy-paste isekai buildup. I wish the writers of isekai tr*sh would learn just skip the useless buildup (Woah, you got hit by a truck after a late night of overtime? Tell me more.). <<less

As for me, there is no need to think much about the norms of the kada. It is perfectly visible how the story changes from writing other stories, but why repeat after another story, I certainly don't mind repeating after other stories. So it's really interesting, but there are just a lot of details that are not particularly used, for example, the heavenly race, what kind of heavenly race and what it is eaten with is not clear.

And so a good "Peacock" comes out

I like the story, it is set in a more realistic world filled with scumbags but also has some good people.

Unlike most isekai the MC has a good reason to try and remain in conspicuous, The MC has realistic responses in line with her personality, and the MC has a proper (maybe a little exaggerated) responce to near death experiences and other horrible experiences.

At some point the story becomes really food related for a while, don't worry tone down relatively fast.

The side stories feel a little incomplete at times though,... more>> and there is a real emphasis on the fact that the MC is underage. Other than that I think the story is quite good.

If people can handle some mild degeneracy, I think they could enjoy this story. <<less

Imma keep this short

The story progression is painfully slow

Details about skills and stuff isn't discussed in detail there is no lore and stuff like that. (which is a huge thumbs down for me, because I enjoy reading and analyzing stuff like that)

... more>> The MC easily caves in and does what other people want.

The writing is well... It is a 4.5/10

The MC does really inconspicuous stuff and wonders why she gets so much attention sigh*

At least this is better than other isekai just by a couple of millimeters

So that's it I guess I recommend this for people that have burned through all their novels, mangas, and movies. <<less

A mostly production centred isekai reincarnation with cheat skills.

The problem solving abilities of the MC are sub-par and the characters aren't too deep or interesting.

There's still some nice stuff and I would have given it four stars, but at some point the author decided to make a giant plot hole with almost zero foreshadowing that doesn't really contribute to the story. That doesn't make it terrible, but it definitely lowers the quality overall. I'll keep reading, but much less enthusiastically.

The translation is pretty decent too. Other than a few typos... more>> and the fact that a lot of chapters are split into two, there aren't any hiccups in reading it. <<less

It's readable. Not compelling, but not bad novel by any means. MC is kind of a "normal personality" but with cheats. Not overly justice, evil, helpful, perverse or anything. MC acts based on emotion, so she can seem s*upid, but it's somewhat relatable.

Has a lot of typical jp novel tropes like being good at cooking, incredibly attractive, "yes-man" japanese, and production cheats. This is a slow life type novel that doesn't have a whole lot of tension. If you look at it like that, it is easier to read.

If I... more>> had to say anything bad about this novel, it's that:

  • the fight scenes can be boring since MC is a sniper who really sucks at close quarters.
  • this world has lots of shitty people. In a way, you could say there are as many bad people/people you don't like as there are good people/people you do like.
  • MC is no saint, and does what they feel like. You can say she's irresponsible and lazy when she doesn't feel like it.
If I had to say something good about this novel, it's that:

  • It is kind of realistic how someone might make crappy decisions that lead to problems later but they do it anyway because it is bothersome/feels bad otherwise. Help your friends and relatives but f*ck everyone else is kind of the feeling I get.
  • MC is no saint and does what she feels like. You can say she's irresponsible and lazy, but in a way that is totally relatable.
  • The tension is low, yet you still want to find out what happens to the next person giving MC problems or how she spoils her friends. Feels good like giving presents to actually grateful friends who don't take advantage of you or giving a verbal lashing to people annoying you.
Neutral points/describing novel:

  • MC is apparently hot for an 11 year old, looks 15-16. Attracts men and women. A running joke.
  • Main magic is production type magic/convenient life style magic. MC is specifically bad at offense magic.
  • A small bit of shoujo ai
  • MC is biased towards girls. Guess she's still got some male tendencies.
  • Lots of cooking chapters
  • Lots of skill grinding chapters
  • Lots of "feel good" chapters (I want to take care of my friends/orphans)
  • Lots of characters who basically exist for you to say "Go to hell" to. (Feels good to tell them to screw off!)
