It's been a while since I read these types of long female MC cultivation novels, and this definitely didn't disappoint. I would say GEWW is up there with GDBBM as one of my favorites in this genre, and there were definitely a lot of similarities with it. Especially at the beginning with the general grandfather and the handicapped uncle and waste cultivation MC—that's uncanny. Plus similarities to Bewitching Prince Spoils His Wife, with all of the running around collecting the couple's families.

Love the strong, shameless female MC, as well as... more>> her ML. The total spooniness of the ML is pretty adorable, and even though he is usually much stronger than the MC, he still has to grow a lot unlike in GDBBM where he is already one of the strongest in the world. Though I might have liked it more if the ML had more of a personality? I'm not definite about that. Of course I'm a fan of the love rival protects the girl when the ML is not there part, which reminds me of the same thing happening in BPSHW. Of course, the spoony PDA between the MC and ML gets pretty repetitive. Maybe the author just stopped thinking of creative spoony dialogue for the couple. I am a fan of the academy trope, so I do kind of wish the college arc had been longer, or just closer to having any sort of school vibe instead of just a rest stop in between her travels. Oh, and I also really enjoyed Nangong, both because of him being her absolute best friend (and thinking she's better than all other girls, including his wife) and because they knew each other from their past life as well. It's always nice knowing your best friend knows your background.

I am a big fan of the later chapters, especially the return to China to face slap and revenge, and then the ones centering around the MC and ML's children. Love that they inherit the same spooniness. The family is just adorable.

There are random plot holes:

Spoiler

Did Bai Su really just die 3/4 of the way through? He's been such an annoying mosquito that after I read it I almost couldn't believe that he was gone. Plus the time when he followed the MC around as the kid, I didn't really see much of a point for that. In comparison, the love rival is a much better person. Though I was pretty disappointed at not hearing about him in the last few chapters. Also, did the MC stop asking about her dad? I feel like they just gave up on him. And all of a sudden when Red Luan (whatever her name is) came back (for a somewhat opaque reason), the underworld became some other travel location that the MC can control. Is it because she became a True God? What happened to that dragon they sealed in the Endless City hole? Why did the Cang dude get reincarnated with the MC if he forgot his memories anyways? There's probably a lot of other questions, but I skimmed over them.

[collapse]

I don't know if I quite like having the chapters being that short, since I had to MTL almost 2000 chapters. Microsoft Translate is my reliable assistant for all these female MC stories. Sigh, now I'm in the mood for more similar stories. Hopefully I'll be able to find another one where the MC remains relatively OP throughout.

edit: came back to read this novel again almost 3 years later now that it's fully translated. Stopped on chapter 1538. Kinda tired of cultivation trope already. It's honestly pretty impressive how the author is able to come up with enemy after enemy and keep separating the MC and ML. A little unfortunate because I remember enjoying some parts that I haven't gotten to, but don't have the motivation to keep reading. <<less

Currently I'm addicted reading Chinese Novel which have reincarnated elements and Female Protagonist. I had read the author's other 2 works (EEWC & EAA) so I thought I should read this too. The settings is your typical reincarnated novel, bullied young miss, it's very similar to GDBBM.

Tbh I feel this very lacking compared to the EEWC or EAA (nevermind GDBBM), it has 2000+ chapter but have a very fast pace, within 300 chapters she had avanged her parents that she never met and in a hundred more she had her... more>> revenge again. The plot seems repetitive that it becomes boring. The plot is not heavy or rather haven't be heavy.

Well okay I enjoy reading face slapping but that would be fine if the enemy worth noted, the antagonist are just s*upid to offend her again and again, she's just like a walking trouble even when she's home there will be idiots who continue to offend her which later proceed to their annihilation. This cycle repeats on and on till I can't bear to continue.

Welp it's better to read the English Translation, when I mtl this the writing is not that good for me. The author exaggerated MC beauty, almost every chapter you will see the word bewitching (bewitchingly beautiful, bewitching smile, etc). During reading I feel that a lot of details had been left out like MC's parents death which her grandfather admits early on the story, but later on suddenly there are more about their death it felt like the details were not planned but just added for more lenght of the story. Sometimes one chapter to another felt like skipping several chapters so I had to recheck did I get the chapter right.

MC is overbearing and proud just like any other novel, certainly a Mary Sue. GDBBM's MC at least have several people which she considers equal and can stand alongside her, this MC only have either enemy or admirer, personally I would certainly love if the author can create character that can stand alongside her other than ML. Speaking of ML, ML is too perfect to be true and unconditionally fell in love with her in the first meeting.

Okay enough for the cons, pros about this novel is it's quite light to read. So it's easy for binge read and good time passer. ML is likeable, the Grandfather is adorable, elders who are taking care of her are fighting for her attention, and most importantly her interaction with ML. ML is like pure white sheet concerning relationship so MC trained him (XD). I do love her domineering side when taking control of her subordinates and she's harsh to herself regarding cultivation (tho it's not really highlightened, there will be a timeskip and suddenly she's more powerful).

Spoiler

IMO there are more about her parents death, since her mother was actually from a notorious family. They're probably still alive but missing as typical settings. In the setting every kingdom have backings, the emperor are nothing but puppet to those backings. Those backings could be a Big Family or sects. Well MC manage to drag down the emperor in 300 chapter so that could be considered something.

[collapse]

I want to give 2 stars but the translation is good so I give it 3 stars... anyway the beginning is enjoyable to read and also quite funny, just felt it didn't worth to be read using mtl.. <<less

I love the ML, everything about him is perfect. I think that's the only redeeming quality about the Novel. He's the man you would like to have as a partner tbh

I read over 700 chapters... everything starting to going in cycles.. you have all these dumb hoes keep throwing themselves at the ML and all minor cannon fodder keeping calling MC slurs, bit*h and all sort of names. To the point I have headaches reading it. Everything is just so brainless.

MC also always dives straight in situations without plans no... more>> matter how dangerous it was.

MC spend more time starting fights then curing ppl.

Also with We have 15 year old rolling in beds huh

90% characters are written as brainless. I feel s*upid the more I read

I am don't think I can read anymore of doctor FMC related novels. Everything has been a disappointment after Ghostly doctor and young miss Jue. <<less

THE CONCLUSION - 1/10

There's just so many lost opportunities in this novel but what can I expect.

I'm concerned for the target audience of this novel due to the sublimal messages that it brings across about the ideal partner or relationship as well as the lack of consequences for tyrannical behaviour. I'm sure it's not that deep, but it was definitely something I noticed.

I only read it because I was procrastinating studying for my exam, and decided to finish it since I was already so many chapters in. It... more>> definitely won't be memorable, and if I do remember it, it will be for the wrong reasons.

THE PREMISE - 3/10

The beginning was basic, but passable: FL dies in an explosion and becomes the tr*shy miss of the general's family, who was engaged to the Crown Prince because of her previous family achievements, with a cheat related to medicine which comes with a 'guide' to the place, and a space enriched with spiritual energy to plant herbs.

THE PROTAGONISTS - 1/10

The FL behaves arrogantly, wantonly, and without regard for repercussions because of baseless confidence that we don't even know from where. It's even more questionable at the beginning, when she's just starting off, and doesn't give jacksh*t about how she behaves because somehow everything ends up fine.

It would fine if this wasn't the same plot copied and pasted over and over again throughout the 2000+ chapters.

The ML is 2D at best, and if anything, remains to be a 'guard' from the start to end with how the story progresses - we hardly even know his personality, which is quite tragic considering even some villains have more character developement than he does. In other words, he's perfection to the point of being bland.

The dialogue between the two is never skin-deep, to the point that their relationship is there, but doesn't feel tangible at all, by far the most common line has to be: 'Yun Xiao, I'm tired.'

THE PLOT - 1/10

It's colourless, to say the least. The FL will mercilessly deal with those that look at her wrong, and get favourable impressions of characters that will be useful to her later down the line which she will then protect, go on to offend powerful entities that turn out to be not so powerful in comparison to the previous acquaintance that she made, that coincidentally comes to help her wipe her arse, if not then the ML does it.

If not, then she's 'hiding' her true strength and people will come in flocks to mock and offend her, and then get facesmacked later and show 'regret' at if they did this one thing in the past, perhaps she would become their backer.

There's also a lot of cannon fodder for the 'wow he's so handsome, I need to have him, she should be honoured I'm offering to be his concubine' etc. That offend him and warrants cold mu*der; for the most part, any 'villian' and their family is completedly wiped out, which would be fine, if it wasn't because someone was trying to scheme to get the ML's affection or other similarly mundane offences. It's just quite s*upid.

In fact, there are many lose plot points but, personally, for me:

The Murong guy from Yellow Spring City

Spoiler

It's said that if he leads the gang to become the most powerful, he could go find her three years later, and there seemed to be some foreshadowing that never happens, even though I thought it was him that appeared three years later when the Tianhui Empire or something attacks with the undead.

[collapse]

Ji Jiutian

Spoiler

I really liked him, but after he appears to say that he found a way for the FL to go back to Huaxia, after separating ways with the ML in the Fengyun Continent, he just disappears again. I kind of wished the author gave him a proper ending, instead of wasting it on Yun Chutian's silly little revenge that hardly had a purpose aside from consolidating her and Yun Nianfeng's relationship properly.

[collapse]

Chen Yuqing

Spoiler

By far the most mysterious, which was nowhere foreshadowed, and he just leaves nothing behind aside from being the helper behind the scenes somewhere. I was hoping to learn more about his previous lover that had plotted against him and was hoping they would be some major antagonist, but it was never mentioned again.

[collapse]

The ML's subordinates become useless and disappear later, and the Steel Corps and Fire Corps (?) that the FL built is hardly ever mentioned after
Spoiler

they trampled Prime Minister Mu and the Emperor's palacce

[collapse]

The portrayal of romance and relationships also goes down the drain fast. I understand the monogamy part, but the extent to which the ML doesn't allow anyone of the opposite s*x to approach or touch the FL is bewilderingly possessive and entirely unnecessary, which is probably some kind of self-fulfillment.

I just feel like the author thought of the story while typing it, leading to its poor execution.

THE WORLD - 1/10

The cultivation system is rudimentary and aside from the names of the stages, there's no deeper dive into that aspect, as well as the martial arts or skills used, but a lot of waving arms, flying palms and kicking chests. The medicine aspect is also lacklustre which was usually solved with 'here is a list of herbs, go concoct it for me'.

I will give credit to the author for their attempt at world-building, even though we never really hear more about
Spoiler

the Dao of Heaven after it's personified when she first breaks through to the god stage, even though I thought it would be where the Spirit God Continent would lead us to.

[collapse]

However, it's general at best, and is hardly immersive. <<less

Well, I liked the story and setting and I'm usually very tolerant to all cliches. But, this must be the first novel that started to anoy me.... you are loyal to one guy that's okay you want him to be loyal to you that's also ok but why be so hypocrite about it to point you force your ideals on everyone and judge them for being unlawful shameless etc when there isn't a law you don't break yourself or have been shameful or any of your acts ever..... she goes... more>> to say she's from mordern world so only aproves of monogamy yet is so orthodox that she'll rather let the guy dig his heart out then let anyone else f*ck him and the dude has 0 pride or mind of his own he's basically a well trained pet this girl would slaughter families of people who just had a misunderstanding and leave real annoying people who oppose her to be dealt by fate..... rant ends here......... novel has it's good moments the title is cultivation but its basically like jus lvl up without much change in fight style she from beggining feels like god while fighting and villains even at god lvl fight using swords while fighting the author is basically ranting how much they hates harems and didn't focus on best aspects of cultivation novel....... well it kinda got most annoying after they went to second continent it's good till they are in first continent <<less

I simply, undoubtedly love the ML. The ML is so adorable (in a diff way) and so devoted. His love for the FL goes beyonds the normal thinking, that one of questions whether there’s truly ever love like this.
I know they both somehow started interacted with each other with both their interests and benefits in mind, but later with the story developing their love grew as well. I love how devoted they both are to each other, and yet they sacrificed much silently without letting the other know. Plot... more>> wise, it’s good. I love the ending as well, the FL is pretty badass! Tbt, I really hated the FL at first when she was depicted as this arrogant lady with big titties, but later she really grew on me. It doesn’t overly exaggerate the FL looks or the ML coldness. It keeps it to a acceptable degree. The romance isn’t slow paced like other xianxia-xuanhuan novels, it progressed in a good and right pace where you don’t feel it’s hurried or late. Because they pretty flirt during the entire book, and ahem if you want,

Spoiler

Luofeng the dominant one. Lol, sometimes. She’s crazy and he loves it.

What I liked about this story was the cute relationship between the main characters, the ML here is more of the shy type and the FL is more proactive and also flirts with him a lot. Later they also help each other.

It's true that she is a little to ''badass'' for her past and that the villains are one-dimensional. But what bothered me the most after reading more chapters was that the male lead and the female lead were often on separate missions and only met every 100 chapters. I... more>> don't know if it got better in the end, just couldn't take it anymore. <<less

Plot is abit cliche in the sense that is a typical modern woman who brings her strong character back to ancient times, and original soul's family circumstances are not desirable and thus died and was replaced by MC.

However, story is still enjoyable as we see MC grow in strength with support from and alongside ML (as she takes over all those countries and kingdoms). There are not many glaring plotholes despite the non stop overbearing-ness of the MC. Face slapping moments are great and not so common that you see... more>> one every arc.

Important side characters are charming in their own ways (Grandpa Yun and his shamelessness, best mother/MIL jun fengling, nangong yunyi and his nonsense). Character development is decent, not super thorough but enough for characters that matter.

Personally, this novel is one of my favourites as I like how ML is not always 'in your face' protective and possesive of MC but does it subtly but very cleanly in the shadows. (But he knows when to step up and defend his girl in the most envious way if needed).

Recommended to read if you do not mind long stories and love to watch a devoted and powerful hubby support his wife through her journey to the top. <<less

The novel started a bit slow for me personally, but I got really into it eventually.

The main and supporting characters were mostly decently fleshed out, but the villains seemed for the most part made of the same greedy and arrogant stamp, which got old really fast. What was also a bit annoying was how thirsty over half of the villains were. The main characters basically got a lot into trouble for being to beautiful (especially the male lead had so many thirsty villainesses after him...)

But all in all it... more>> was a nice past time read and really entertaining and satisfying for me.

Even the ending was pretty satisfying, which is always hard to pull of in these kinda novels. <<less

The story is generic but slightly disappointing frim the expectations.

The sequence of events air exaggerated, but that is normal with these books.

As usual, the MC is given OP skills which are not used to the fullest. It is mostly used to conveniently promote her cultivation when necessary.

The male lead is as interesting as white paper and forgotten for the most part. His presence is similar to air, whether he is there or not, no one knows or cares, even though he is essential. The MC treats him like a... more>> dog? Uses him to creat fluff (which is rare) and tosses him aside when she is done.

The other characters are either for or against the MC. No mysterious side characters that sit on the fence and eat popcorn while watching the fight plusnot all are properly developed.

As for moral quality, this is littered with double standards. Throughout the story, the MC mocks people who are loyal to their country (these people always have the misfortune of serving corrupt leaders) and promotes putting family or love first. But she also has an organisation under her which she demands must be loyal to her above all else.

And some arcs are just uselessly long. You can go the 30 chapters of one scene ofjust exchanging words and building up for a face-slapping... kinda bring if you ask me.

Other than the typical shortcomigs that go with books in tis genre, this is a great book to read. And the writing style is pretty good. <<less

This really could have been a better novel if the writing was better. It really felt like something was missing from the story. The MC never really went through any struggle and the author glazes over her cultivation and how MC improves her strength. What really bugs me though is how the ending of some charcters is left unanswered. And there were other small plot holes that just bothered me. It wasn't the worst novel I have ever read, it was okay, but there are better ones out there.

Overall smooth read but has a distinctive repetitive pattern of face slapping, show off, face slapping show off, you know, that sort of a routine. Leveling up in between and cultivation grinding which is seriously tiring to read like in all cultivation novels, like oh wow congrats your level is higher than others now, time to shove it in their unexpected faces. Monotone insults and cannon fodders, they insult her the same, leave the same last sentence, start a grudge and court death out of the most simplistic and most... more>> idiotic reasons. *big time eye roll*

A smooth read like I said, but over 700+, I wanna knock on author's door and complain. Characters are all undefined, her sidekicks are all mascots, nobody gets an emotional highlight, bad guys are all cannon fodders, easy come easy go, tragic backstory is well... just there to evoke empathy from readers. A stereotypical chinese web novel MC+ML with an equally stereotypical plot. If you have seriously nothing better else to read, this is it. <<less

I finally got through all 2000+ chapters. Like most novels with a million chapters, there will always be times where it drags. But overall, I felt like it was a good read. By the end, most of what initially annoyed me became insignificant.

I wrote a lot of spoilers for this book in the spoiler thread of the forum so feel free to check that out: https://forum. Novelupdates. Com/threads/ghost-emperor-wild-wife.27036/

The relationship between MC and ML is probably one of my favorites. MC has a 21st-century mindset and therefore takes... more>> the initiative when it comes to romance. Whereas ML is more innocent but becomes domineering when it counts (in the bedroom, lol). They spend more time apart than together, both conquering their own things, only marrying after 10 years of being together. I also like that ML takes care of all MC's love rivals, nipping it at the buds (aka killing) before it becomes a problem for MC. On the other hand, ML lets MC deal with ML's love rivals and he would only fight with the love rivals who he believes will harm her more than care about her. The trust between them is really good so we don't get any misunderstandings between the two. At one point when ML was injured, he asked one of his love rivals to accompany MC to go on a mission because he knew that that love rival was strong and he trusts MC's love for him.

I felt really invested in just about all of the side characters in this novel, especially those that are family, friends, and subordinates of MC. For the most part, we get some sense of closure for the majority of the side characters. MC really takes care of all those who have supported her and share with them whatever she has.

Spoiler

No good guys die in the making of this novel.

[collapse]

Now that I really think about it, there isn't any (or rarely any) love angst or misunderstandings even among the side couples in this book. My favorite couple is Xiao Mo and Xiao Bai.

The revenge (of which there are plenty) are pretty satisfying. Though, to be honest, it's sort of cringing. The format is pretty much the same. Step 1: Villains talk smack about MC and the smack talk is pretty cringing because you know that in the next step, MC's going to prove them wrong so it's like watching a train wreck. Step 2: MC proves them wrong. Step 3: MC and/or ML kill everyone.

I only cried twice in this novel:

Spoiler
  • When Hong Luan dies: After MC and ML left for Fengyuan Continent, the Qin Family of Spirit God Continent sent assassins after MC because she killed Qin Luo. But because MC was MIA, they went after the Yun Family. A lot of factions were injured protecting the Yun Family. Finally, Hong Luan convinces her father, the Governor of the Eastern Province to shelter the Yun Family. Hong Luan had promised MC that she would protect her family while MC was away. Hong Luan fought with the assassins and dies. I cried because Hong Luan didn't feel any regret and only satisfaction for fulfilling her promise to MC. I also cried because Nangong Yunyi had been chasing after her and at the last minute, he takes her in his arms and block the attack.
  • When Yun Chutian dies: MC and ML rescued her from the cave that the Nine-Winged Celestial Dragon was protecting in Endless City. They adopted her and gave her the name Yun Chutian. However, they knew she wasn't human. When MC and ML were battling some dragons, they were losing. Feng Lan tells MC that she needs to use Yun Chutian who is pure spirit energy and eating her heart will let MC level up to true god enabling her to win. MC refused because MC loves Yun Chutian so she made Yun Chutian hide. However, ML gets severely injured while protecting MC and becomes unconscious (right on top of her, limiting her movements). Yun Chutian sees this and sacrifices herself by cutting out her heart and force-feeding MC. MC cries sorrowfully and asked Feng Lan why he didn't stop Yun Chutian. He tells her that in 5 years, she will meet Yun Chutian's reincarnation.
[collapse]

I didn't care for the part of the story where MC and family go to Huaxia. This is considered a side story but even so, it was really boring. I really didn't care at all for any of the characters in Huaxia. <<less

I'm actually amazed I lasted for SO LONG. I WAS HOPING it'll get better but no the FL just gets worse. It's "offend me and I'll kill everyone."

Spoiler

I feel bad about implicated clan/sect/group members just because of a brain dead "antagonist" that is a small fry compared to the great scheme of things. She slaughters EVERYONE even if not everyone of them were at fault.

[collapse]

It's repetitive tr*sh talk, full of jealous and shameless people. Suffer 7+ chapters of tr*sh talk. The "bad" guys were gone? Suffer another round of tr*sh talk. It's tr*sh talk arc every single time.

Spoiler

All females are brain dead and h**ny except Jinyu and a few females (in FL's side duh allies are always "good"). I actually think Jinyu is better than the FL. She's one of the best females I encountered so far in this novel AND SHE'S ONLY A MINOR CHARACTER. Why? Because she's quite smart. S*upid in love but in love only. You can see that her love is sincere and doesn't follow the antagonist's demands and claims like ALMOST EVERYBODY ELSE DOES. (E.g. Looking at you here Qin sisters of Saintly virg*n Tribe and the dragon guy who kidnapped Hong Luan). Can't just everyone stop using force and actually finding out the truth?

[collapse]

No way this can compare to GDBBM! That novel really dared to do the worst things to make faceslapping much satisfying! FL in GDBBM is the really COOL lady not this brain-dead-only-knows-violence girl. Her "medical" knowledge is so unrealistic as well (the doctors in the cultivation world ARE SO USELESS that only FL can cure people).

Sure I can accept her apathetic nature (not a busybody) however, when she knows she gets benefits she'll involve herself. In turn, she'll gain followers WHO ARE SINCERE and thinks so highly of her. In the end, I felt like she's just using them until they're forgotten by the author.

Spoiler

hi there Old Man Ning

[collapse]

All in all, there's no interesting personalities. Everyone is one dimensional tbh, no grand change of character that really struck the heart (e.g. Iron Empress from GDBBM).

As much as I hate the FL, I LIKE the ML so much. His only flaw is he lacks individuality, all his likes and dislikes are the same as FL. However, he's really adorable and a bit reasonable to an extent.

Spoiler

He pushes rivalry aside when needed. Helps his "love rivals" because they helped FL (e.g. Ji Jiutan's issue).

[collapse]

Too bad he ended up with a tyrannical lady. I actually felt like he was brainwashed instead. Poor guy. <<less

The cultivation stage names are confusing. Seems like author ran out of ideas.

The tricks and schemes of enemies and the female lead are worth mentioning.

In this novel, all I see about cultivation is level names of the stages, Nothing like yin or yang, or elements like fire, Ice. And some medicinal herbs. No weapons and armors were mentioned. Except the herb names, and the cultivation stages, theres no way it would be called a Xianxia novel. The Author has good experience at writing face slapping novels. But not a Xianxia.... more>> Maybe it was her first time.

Female lead face slaps, and is unruly, and sees her man as a s*ave in bed, which I, as a man like. But the whole story is about face slapping and everyone worshiping. Although it's what makes Xianxia novels good, it still is overly done in this novel.

As well known to all, women authors are bad at righting man's character, and men at a woman's character. This story is a living proof of that.

Her man always is stronger than her. She doesn't have s*x even after getting along for so much time for some plot walls like she needs to reach god level to dual cultivate - A cheap trick to keep the readers glued with the longs story.

But the reason I DROPPED this novel, is because, I hate enemies that has life of c*ckroach, and wouldn't die no matter what, Like the BAI SUI figure. Bai sui was introduced at the beginning of the novel, even after thousands of chapters He still is alive and kicking. Dude. This cheap trick of keeping an enemy alive for so much time just to glue the readers up is boring. Make new enemies kill old enemies, Don't drag an annoying sh*t too much. All Most 20% of my dropped novels had used these cheap tricks to glue the readers. But alas I'm impatient. I must be patient. Its my fault for being impatiet. <<less

It's more of the same if you read "Evil Emperor's Wild Consort".

The world is filled with braindead people, jealous girls, and incompetent rulers. Clans, empires, sects, organizations that lived through hundreds of years with elders just as old, that still easily believe lies without any supporting evidence or investigation.

There's a bit of improvement in terms of character development when compared to the author previous work, with an attempt to give side characters their own circle of friends, lover, and stories. But there is still far too much focus and wasted... more>> time with the crowd of useless characters chatter when they buy whatever new rumor is around. <<less

This is my second C-novel that I've read and as of today I've completed many of it as I've spent half a year reading only. GEWW is one of my favorite novels, as well as other Xiao Qi Ye's novels. It is good, and if you're only starting to read wuxia novels I strongly recommend you to read it first as it was like this story is the basic of the genre. Just like any other wuxia novels, this one emphasizes rebirth and revenge at first then face slapping and... more>> cultivation at the recent chapters. <<less

Started off the same as Genius Doctor black belly miss, the beginning of their stories totally similar, with a grandpa and a crippled uncle. I read them at the same time while comparing which one has better developments and more interesting.

I dropped GDBBM because the MC in this 1 is waaayyyyyyyy better. And the development in the beginning is also better.

The MC is quite flirtatious which is kinda rare for this kind of novels, the MC and the ML characters' developments are in the right pace. They're ruthless, decisive, but... more>> I found it okay because for those villains, you just need to cut them off the root. Delaying to kill them to get more headache in the future is definitely unnecessary. Their romance is great.

and above all, kudossss to the translators and the editor of this novel. Their constant and fast updates, and great translations. Very thankful for their hard work. <<less
