Oh my god, I love the dynamics of the couple but what I like the most here is the tortorous but wholesome bond of the old FTW. They may not seem close but when you reach their story, I just want to bawl and crave for more. Prequel or fanfiction about this, I don't mind. PM me.

Really love this novel! It kind of reminds me of the anime Haikyu!! Even though the MC here is strong from the start, unlike the MC in the anime. But the vibe is similar, the competition scene is very wholesome. The story tells stories of various players from various teams and the protagonist is a very social person who easily befriends most players in the scene. There are only very few "villains" in the story but it's still extremely interesting since it's about the competetion. I also love that they... more>> didn't go overboard with like responses and talk from netizens since I personally don't like that very much.

All in all it's more a good vibes kind of story and is definitely a happy read for me. I love that so many characters in this story are so 3D and that the story doesn't just revolve around MC and ML.

I really wish this could get a drama adaptions, since I like the story even more than "Falling Into Your Smile/You’re Beautiful When You Smile". <<less

Since I started with this genre, then I should continue enjoying this while I still can. This one is always on my recommendation list, so I'm giving it a try now.

The MC is a ball of sunshine! 😂 And I am encountering the same ML [BOW], personality and experience, woooooh!! Ugh the Drama. Oh well, moving on.

I can't say that I don't like it. It's amazing actually. It's just that, heavy focus on gaming, too tiring for someone who's not into gaming like me. So I will put this onhold... more>> for now.

Trust me, it's a good novel. Slowburn romance though. <<less

This is one of the best e-sports bl novel I have read.

This is fast paced. Give enough attention towards the e-sports aspect. You can see the ups and down. You can see that they are actually trying hard and don't always win without any obstacle.

The MC and ML fits very well, I find the interactions very warm. The author provide the right amount of romance in my perspective. I would recommend this to people who likes reading novels based around the e-sports circle. Even people who don't read bl can... more>> read it as long as they can ignore the bl part. <<less

I'll update this at a later date, but for now can I mention how annoying Bai Cai is.

He's labeled as a strong support, but from what I've been reading, he's the opposite. Why does he even bother being a professional player if he's not going to give it his all? Not to mention he rarely acknowledges that he's terrible and doesn't own up to when he's obviously playing badly.

'He doesn't lift nor bring down the team' What? Is that supposed to make me go "Ahh of course, now I know... more>> why he's so useless. Continue on" ??? Like IMO he adds zero value to the team and they'd be better off without him.

Also I have to mention how annoying he is every time he tries to squeeze himself into Wei Xiao and Lu Feng's affairs like... I don't care that WX is your friend? Mind your business. ALSO HIS SIDE ACCOUNT ??? Why is he writing fan-fiction about his team? It's honestly so weird to me. Like you spend all this time accumulating a following on this side account when you could spend it on trying to be an actual decent support.

It also frustrates me that everyone tries to explain Bai Cai's uselessness for him like??? Why does everyone think he's so good when he's literally the worst member on the FTW team?

I love this novel but man his character pisses me off every chapter. <<less

After they won, the guy didn't want to apologize but Wei Xiao was already prepared and played the audio of their agreement in front of the players and audience. It was SOO satisfying

as for our ML Close, I can just say that he is literally the most caring and soft character ever despite his cold face. Legit, he has so much patience with Wei Xiaoxiao that even I feel bad for him. Seriously, I thought he would be your typical cold, handsome ML but NOPE he is so soft and kind to his teammates (especially Wei Xiao)

However, he got hurt because of his soft heart. Basically, the old management team of FTW were pieces of sh*t and the god players wanted to leave. Lu Feng had to compromise to his family in order to buy the team, but the time he bought it his teammates already left him.

Very hilarious and cool.

MC is shameless, but dense. He always says ambiguous things, but sometimes doesn't understand for very end what other want from him. He has spicy mouth, but he can afford this, with his powers.

ML makes traps for him, also acts shameless and carry about MC, he is is cute.

Game process good explained and with participation comrades all become more fun. Many humor. This is good ratio real life and gaming so it doesn't bored.

It's a great story!

Totally worth checking out?

The plot is thick and humorous but there are enough deep feels and some cute fluffy moments to balance it out.

... more>> The gaming scene is also exciting, usually I'd just gloss over gaming scene but the way the author depicted glory as a game was very exciting and since there isn't much technical jargon in the narration and more clear explanation that can even be a understood by Noobs in gaming makes the flow of the story very smooth.

And the romance is slowly build up on their passion as genius gamers and friendly rivalry.

The story isn't rushed at all and I can honestly say if the author can keep the suspense and the balance of the thickening plot throughout the story with appropriate cool time to answer the readers' curiosity, this story could be a huge hit since it doesn't just focus on the romantic progress of the MC and ML and instead also cater to the readers' adventurous spirit through the easy to understand narration of the game matches in the story ^^

I'm really looking forward to the updates?

The angst is cute, the writer's style is consistent and the world building is okay.

I didn't take to it great, because, although the theme is romance, I could not feel the chemistry between the main charcter and his love interest. It lacked that sense of thrill and anticipation that I love the most about reading romance -will they or won't they - type of feel. However interesting character backgrounds and I liked the teammate and friend dynamics because I see these relationships in my own life and so, I definitely... more>> can see why its so well-loved.

This book has two important characters I liked: the MC and his best friend. MC's personality is the type that you find somewhat a nuisance but love him because he's a buffoon while the best friend is like the comedic relief. Only in few occasions you'll find the MC going too far with how he treats that friend.

Anyway, if you like this book, a similar one you'll find is 'AWM: PUBG' but with 90 chapters (completed). Both books are E-sport heavy, the side-characters have a lot of life, both have... more>> high quality translators, and both the MC's best friends are used as scapegoats for comedy. But the most similarity is how the two main leads came together.

It's a 4.5 for me. <<less

This combines all the best parts of “go go squid” and “I can do it”. It is very competition heavy, but the comedy is definitely still prominent. I do wish they had a relationship reveal at the end though, because throughout the story, only a select few people know they are eating dogfood and not just rot HAHAHA. Throughout the story, I wouldn’t say there is much angst, but there are definitely undercurrents of bittersweetness. It’s not within the relationship of MC and ML though, but moreso family relations.

Loved this novel- I've read many e-sports novel, and one of what always hits me most is the sheer passion, team building, and warmth. This one in particular really goes past the e-sports and romance aspects (both of which are also well done) - there is also a really strong family element: past and present family. The story-telling is superb, and the characterization is beautiful, as previous reviewers have written. My least favorite (not really) part of all this is when you have so many multi-faceted characters, there's too many... more>> of them that you love, and then when they're on different teams, it's just sad TT. By the end, I wanted parallel universes/futures where everyone could be hugged and happy. <<less

I am rating this as 3.5. I finally finished reading this after a few days!!!

The MC is so funny and he tr*shtalk so much and the ML is the typical cold but sweet to MC.

There are no a lot of conflicts in this story. The story is too repeated. It took me awhile to read this because I get bored. I have background in mobile games because I have played mobile games before.

It's good but it could been better. I'm also eager to read more but it seems like the... more>> author would like to keep it that way.

There are a lot of questions and story that needs to be narrated so I feel like it's a such a cliffhanger.

I think this is the novel that is esports that I have completed reading but this one is not the best. It's good but it could improve. It's just too common and repetitive plot. There are plot holes as well. <<less

This novel is for people who like E-sports. This is less detailed than King's Avatar and All Round Mid Laner, but still has all the elements. It does get more detailed at the halfway point. Basically, it's Kuroko no Basketball [2.0]. Okay, ML and MC. Just know, MC is thirsty? for ML. MC gives some wrong signals here haha. While, ML is also interested in the MC. A funny misunderstanding somewhat happens. ML is a jealous quite type. He doesn't act on his emotions, but you can tell he jelly... more>> by his subtle concealed actions. MC is um, also jealous? But not in the same way the ML is. It's very a comedic misunderstanding, until it gets to, well... forming a relationship. Man, I actually cried a bit I think. And it's due to how supportive they are of one another.

Oh btw, the side characters are awesome! It's really Kuroko No Basketball 2.0. But I guess less aggressive? Hehe. Well, they don't hate each other, just have a strong rivalry. I enjoyed how the author molded and created the side characters. Great job. It's somewhat like Haikyuu though. But there may be some side characters you don't like. Well enjoy reading! <<less

First of all I haven't finished yet, I simply came to vent my feelings.

Long short story, I hate ML who deceive MC. Like wth I don't care how harmless it is, or how unimportant it look. Deceiving is deceiving. Trying to find out about the other feeling face to face is still better than lying about identity and taking advantage of MC trust.
