I was pretty satisfied with this novel but it's more of comedy.

Honestly when it comes to romance I wanted to see gradual development of feelings after the ML comes back like it said in the summary. But that is not what happens.

Like she keeps her facade on till the last chapters and also this happens cuz she got pregnant. I would have liked it if that happened without a child being brought into the picture. And even then I feel like FL didn't exactly fall in love? I mean idk... more>> she shows her true self so if she is comfortable now but I still didn't get that 'in love' type feeling.

Also I think the time ML spends as the ghost should have given him a good insight as far as her feelings are concerned. But he just seems completely oblivious and when she tries to keep her distance from other men and gets unnecessarily jealous. Ig it's comedy so they didn't dwell on that stuff but it could have been better.

And the most irritating thing is that the ML is a villian boss but who is the hero??? Who is the real Female lead??? What the heck is MC's advantage/skill as a transmigrator???

She transmigrates in the novel and she knows the ML is gonna die in three years but that's it. How does her identity as a transmigrator comes into play?? <<less

the story has a lot of plot holes and inconsistencies. I really don't understand why MC was so afraid of ML, it wasn't like he abused her or smth. It's also really annoying how they are "in love" with each other and yet they have a lot of secrets from each other? The MC never really showed her true self to ML which is really useless for me considering they are husband and wife.

I think the oddest part of this story was that the MC is so afraid of her husband that she was scared she'd be killed by him in secret, but "why" is never answered.

It's why she spent years hiding her real personality. You'd think the reason would be kind of important...

Essentially the entire story is showing the "effect" without any explanation as to the "cause."

The entire premise of the story was based around the MC's inherent distrust and unhappiness with the ML, yet we never get the MC coming to... more>> the conclusion that she can be her real self around him or test him with her real self to make sure.

For example, MC never finds out that ML had been around her in spirit when he was in a coma.

For example, ML constantly being confused why MC was so afraid of him, and the deaths of his previous wives still remain unexplained to the last chapter.

There's also a lot of suspicion regarding the start of their relationship. The MC claims that she was never drugged by the ML but not a few days later she told the ex-boyfriend (2nd ML) that he abandoned her during a hard time (implying that she had been drugged and r*ped) which is what led her to think that he wasn't worth it.

Even at the very end, plot holes abound and loose plot points were never wrapped up in a satisfactory way.

The ML mentions that he would treat the MC well and give her trust, but all she did was deny him and say "I'll think about it." Then MC proceeds to NOT think about it and somehow, everything is resolved in a few days without MC ever showing her real feelings...

Still waiting on information about where the FL transmigrated to. No background information on her character. Not even the customary information about her age, name or lifestyle before her transmigration. She called the ML a villain and mentioned knowing about his death before hand but then who were the leads? What was their story? Lot of loopholes in this one

As someone already mentioned. Novel felt flat overall. This probably because there were not enough dialogues between characters and was mostly internal monologues.

Available translation was read, read a few MTL chapters then skip to ending.

I must say that while the initial stage was interesting, there's nothing to expect in the follow up development.

Perhaps I lost the essence of the story because of the MTL, however it's still readable to a certain degree... And they're boring.

So I didn't finish MTL and perhaps not going to read the translation if I've other novels more interesting to read.

Still... Thank you translation team for your hard work, you've done a good job.

This looks like a good read. Light and fluffy. It has an interesting plot though I think it's a bit slow moving.

I like that it has the ML POV. It's pretty entertaining so far.

A very very funny, and fluffy story.

The early chapters will hook you up, and you wont be able to stop reading it. And there's ML pov too!

A HE too!

As per usual, I still dont understand the way MC brain works that created all the trouble from the first time she transmigrated there. My advice, move on and forget abt this pit and you'll enjoy the novel.

I will wait for complete translation to understand how ML married her and did he love her? And vice versa.

First of all... I speak Spanish so I will only use a translator (sorry for the spelling mistakes~)

I don't know about you but I like the story, I didn't love it but I thought it was fun. I admit that at the beginning I was about to leave it past chapter 50 because I was getting bored since it seemed a bit too quiet, but then I got hooked again which lasted until almost the end. Actually I was somewhat embarrassed by the embarrassment and the attitude of the... more>> main character almost at the end but it was finally resolved although it was not the truth (but honestly if they told the truth it would be very difficult to believe, although the main character claims to have some understanding on that subject)

What I liked the most was the fact that it ended quite well, I think it was a good ending, the main character is making an effort to change and it shows in the last chapters, the protagonist has a stable life and it can be her (no longer lies or double face) Something I don't like is that I don't know if he really falls in love with the main character, it seems that it was simply a matter of habit and well, the fact that he was with him would live without worries.

Something I want to clarify is that some say that the main character r*ped her but the same protagonist says that she enjoyed the night and that it was not really anyone's fault since she was very drunk, also the ML affirms that he fell in love with the main character from the beginning and she was his refuge every time he came home from work for which he loved her very much and felt somewhat betrayed when he saw how she really was but in the end he accepted it. <<less

So 3 stars for the first few chapters that I found it funny and for the good translation.

Dropped at chapter 114. Okay, so first of all, if it happened that the FL is not the FL of the story, I will undoubtedly dislike her to the bones. Yes, given that she felt like she has no freedom to show her true self because she thought her husband will kill her, but it's not like he (ML) hurted her right? But even so, when her husband 'died', she spend her life... more>> leisurely and happily. Even people will have sentiments with a dog if they stay for a long time but I didn't see that to her. Another one is that, if the FL turns out to be a man, I will, without a doubt, hate her to the bones. She likes using the "pitiful and innocent" trump card. At first it was funny, but later on, I kinda feel annoyed by it.

So I just dropped this story when I was currently reading the chapter where...

she thought that the one who imp**gnated her is Ah Chi (ML's right hand) and Ah Chi thought she was r*ped by some wild man. I do not dare to continue because I have a premonition that they will be misunderstood by the ML. Though I kinda understand that the FL is veeeery confused how she got 2 months pregnant while she never had intimacy for 3 months, and it was actually the ML who imp**gnated her without her knowledge (while he's in a ghost form. Yeah, pretty unbelievably s*upidly confusing), I just dislike that there's a lot of misunderstanding filing up.

Also, there's only few chapters left before I dropped this because I can't really stand the couple anymore. Both of them do not have an established good communication with each other that's why their misunderstandings are just soooo annoying.

But yeah, the FL's character infuriated me more than the ML's. I just really keep thinking that if she wasn't the FL of this story and will be the villainess instead, I will wish her to just go away. I like strong, independent and cunning female leads but not to the point that she doesn't show her true self to anyone. I like FL who are strong but can act coquettish sometimes but this one is just.... <<less

All the characters are s*upid and 2 dimensional. I don’t know if the writer has ever been abroad as seems to believe that everyone who isn’t Chinese has blonde hair and blue eyes *eyes rolling* and are promiscuous. Apparently they also have never seen a pregnant woman as clearly doesn’t know when women start to show and don’t get me started on how apparitions/ ghost can suddenly become like normal people when it suits the writer. The FL is paranoid, doesn’t really ever make sense why she was faking her... more>> personality and the ML is just boring.

All in all readable, but dull and unrealistic even for a fantasy novel. <<less

It was a fun read. Some missing elements of the story could have been expanded on or explained more clearly. Also the ending was kind of meh. Would have liked to have seen more development between ML and MC after all the walls have been broken down. In that sense it feels like it ended abruptly. All in all, it was entertaining, but could have been better.

Edit: cl**ked 1 star by accident and I don't know how to change it. Would give this 4 stars

I really like 2 of this author's works so I had high expectation for this one. The story is good in the beginning, but is lacking development in the latter part of the novel. There are some romantic development but it was just brushed over, I think. It was clear that even though the FL told the ML that she doesn't love him, she does care about him a lot more that she's aware of. Like genuinely caring if he's been working too hard, or taking care of his needs,... more>> and instinctively calling him or talking to him when he's supposedly dead.

I was incredulous about her pregnancy

the ghost of the husband can't probably make her pregnant. Let's say he's an astral spirit, or a poltergeist, he's still a spirit that can't produce sperm. It's a good thing that it was cleared up towards the end that it was just some medical malfunction, that she got pregnant before her husband's accident. Regarding why he didn't tell her his ghost is the one that spent the night with her, it would be hard for a normal person to explain something supernatural as that. But I'm glad he didn't misunderstand or doubt that the child is his, eventhough it got the FL into a muddled state as to who made her pregnant because the hospital made a mistake calculating how far a long she has been.

I think there should have been more story development instead of focusing on the misunderstandings, and this story needs more fluff. It really has some good potential when you look at the summary. We didn't see much of how he has changed after he woke up. He didn't really die, he was in a coma somewhere. He just went back to work immediately after coming back. I thought he's going to work hard to make his wife fall in love with him. Sometimes in the story, I can feel her distressed, esp when she's confused about her pregnancy. The ML did try to help her feel at eased by taking her to another doctor

I think her background from where she transmigrated is a minor detail and is not really essential to the story, but there's also no background of how she got her mission of staying as a virtuous wife for him and who told her he's going to die in 3 years, or how he became a villain, there's really no indication that he's a bad person, he's just a businessman who worked hard from the ground up, and even donates a lot to charity, and he loves the FL a lot, just that he's a workaholic. <<less

This story has enough plot holes to drive a truck through it, but it's still a very funny, and fun read. It's light-hearted and sweet, filled with a good bit of mindless fluff, with the very barest sliver of angst, blink and you'd miss it.

The MC is adorable. The ML grows on you very fast, and the side characters A-Chi and Aunt Lian are personable. Everyone else is forgettable.

I'd recommend reading this if you haven't got anything else to read, or if you need something funny and sweet to lift... more>> your mood. <<less

Truly u don't need brain to read it

DON'T READ THIS

The reasons I count this novel waste of time despite knowing that the novel is unlogical:

  • Every thing is too messy author couldn't handle the events and you will get confused like why she is so terrified of him (they lived 3 yrs as husband and wife and he didn't harm her in 3 yrs, ur unreasonable fright should come to the point either desolved or explained the reason)
  • the point of transmigration and getting together with ML treated so lightly, through reading I had questions like what happened why is she so scared despite living with him 3 years and her fear is too execive and
  • their relationship history I too weak ML had 2 wives that died wedding night firstly it really doesn't fit in novel secondly never explained
  • it feels like author is really amateur and doesn't know how to handle timeline, events, priority specially about two wives it give feeling like she said let's make an excuse to make ML scary and FL scared such an important point of story never touched or explaind properly (although I believe two dead wives were unnecessary and dumb) I liked the picture of a plot like a man married a wife and thinks that she loves him but discovers she is acting the role of perfect wife all the time and she is total stranger under her mask I could be such and amazing novel if author should stick to the idea and didn't add dumb and unnecessary things (although let's skip that his ghost got her pregnant and he never solved it properly /rolling eyes)

Don't remember much from this story. I remember really enjoying FL living free and ghost ML's reactions to her. Vaguely remember after he woke up, story became pretty typical. Not very memorable (other than the beginning).

•In the first few chapters they said the first wife went missing and then the next Chapters they said she was d*ad

•They also never explained Fl's past life cuz she said she transmigrated

•The novel that FL is talking about and ML being the villain in that particular novel is also never explained

•It also never explained how can FL got pregnant when the ML did the deed with her while being in ghost form

•Also there's this one time when FL got into an accident and she still didn't know she was pregnant so she got into an accident that time and was sent to the hospital so how come the baby never miscarriage when FL got into an accident cuz if I remember correctly the first trimester of pregnancy is most dangerous and also how come the hospital never knew she was pregnant that time

•They also never cleared there misunderstandings just like the "Kill, and throw into the ocean" part where FL overhead Ah chi and ML talking

•They also they did not explain what FL heard in the bas**ent that was screaming in the beginning and who was screaming in the bas**ent?

It's all over the place. The premises are not kept, there is no development but suddenly there are results, the changes are abrupt, the characters are undercooked.

Supernatural stuff is mysterious, but usually there are some basic principles of how things work. Not here, it's just used and discarded in a way that is, back to 'all over the place'.

Can't really say I'm a big fan of the book. The main reason is that the FL is married to a husband she is genuinely afraid would kill her at any moment. It might sound like an exaggeration, I know. But she changes herself and her personality in order to suit his, as she herself said, to not get killed by him. One reason seems to be that he had two wives who died before she got married to him, the other being that she heard screaming coming from the... more>> bas**ent of their house.

Hahaha it was a short but fun read. The first part was hilarious especially when the husband was still a ghost, the rest was ok nothing too crazy just a light read. The ending was not exactly abrupt but I feel like there should be extra chapters or something. All in all it was a good light read to read in breaks or in between reading other novels. A solid 4

Also want to mention, the falling in love aspect here especially on the female lead side is not fully explored... more>> or rather had any chance to be explored before the novel ends. Their relationship are on the level of comfortability with each other, I find it rather sweet. Wish there were more romance and we could actually see them fall in love with each other. <<less
