This is really good. When the first arc was over I was a bit confused about what was going on but it got explained pretty quickly. It was a really near idea too. The MC was apathetic about everyone and everything except the ML. The ML is always a ghost or some type of monster in every arc. This novel is really good and the way they transmigrate is different than most QT novels.

I love it.

There's no heavy plot drama. It's different from the "transmigration everytime in the infinite horror story setting."

The MC and ML don't have their previous menories in every world. It's like an alternate universe setting where they will always meet and fall in love.

... more>> The MC is never really in danger since the ML will always. Always be with him.

He's a yadereeeee

Especially in the 1st Arc. (I wanna hug him and cheer him up.)

I feel pain for the both of them especially the ML. He's often abused and left alone by everyone but the MC is his only shinning light.

What I like about this novel is that even though it's like a multiverse setting, it was explained why they don't easily retain their memories.

The MC has certain 'marks' on him that once the ML sees, he'll be able to remember their past life.

I'm just really happy about this novel since it's a quick read and it's all fluff in the end. The heart is cured from all of the fluff.

As for the last world, I would've love to see more extras hihi

I'm thankful for the author for giving us such a light and fluffy read. I've also read her author's note and it was very entertaining.

Thank you to you too, translator/s and editor/s-sama. I'll stay tuned to read the translated chapters. Keep fighting *cheers you on* and have a good day ahead! <<less

This novel deserves around 4 stars but it's 5 stars for the translation. Kudos to Chrysanthemum Garden!

This story doesn't really follow the usual survival games/unlimited flow story-line with survival and mystery solving in different instances. Sure, the MC and ML world-hops to different horror worlds ... more>>

but the entire focus of the instances is on the relationship between our main couple. The other characters merely exist as driving tools of the instance. Honestly though, the first arc was not really my cup of tea, not because of the poor plot but mostly because of the poor execution of the plot and somewhat amateurish writing of the novel (perhaps this is the author's first novel). I was debating on giving up but somehow persevered to the second arc, following which I stuck to the story with great interest. However, the rest of the arcs doesn't have these issues.

Basically, the entire novel focuses on the reunion of the main leads over different arcs

Overall, this is a good read, not as an unlimited flow novel but as a love story set in horror worlds! <<less

The author had a set-up, so I don't know how they got so confused. The so-called "passer-bys" are alternately, people who transmigrate into movies, people coming from higher planes to... do something???, or just don't exist altogether? The ending is completely unsatisfactory. They seemingly escape from the cycle, but then the final arc is - a repeat of every other arc? Maybe the extras finish the story off.

I reread the first arc and found it to be a lacklustre introduction to the romance. The MC relies entirely on the ML... more>> in order to survive. He is not capable in any way other than his ability to love the ML, very similar to Falling in Love in an Escape Game in that regard. No comment on their relationship dynamic.

Overall, this is incredibly lacking if you want a suspense-filled mystery-solving infinite flow novel, veering off that road and onto the fluff train from the beginning. The instances make almost no sense, the over arching plot is illogical, but if you want sugar and fluff, maybe it'll hit a sweet spot for you? <<less

I really like this one. I found it when I was looking for something similar to BATOHMB. They have their similarities, but they are also very different stories.

For one thing,

Spoiler

In this one, even in the very first arc, it's kinda implied that this is not the first time the characters have met. Just, that they don't remember any past and are drawn together. I very much like the idea that their relationship is something that's been going on for a long time already, and will continue a long time into the future. I mean, how else can the tattoo appear in the first arc???

[collapse]

I will say though that I agree with some people's dislike of one thing in the second arc in particular:

Spoiler

That one character dying because her 'sin' was abortion. I 100% agree with the people that complained saying that that shouldn't be a sin. I also want to question those people, did you read the translation of the author's note? It doesn't have to change your opinion, but the author says that they don't think it's a sin either, just that a lot of people do. So with that note, I took it more to mean that that in particular was a sin because the character thought it was, had been convinced it was, not because it actually was. And unfortunately, even in real life the majority tends to get to decide what is or isn't 'sin', rightly or wrongly.

[collapse]

Overall, I just really like this story because it's got the supernatural elements, it has a little bit of a backstory that you find out slowly, it's fluff between the two main characters and there are rarely if ever major miscommunications. After reading a lot of novels that have drama for drama's sake, it's nice to read one that doesn't have that, at least not between the main characters. <<less

Okay, maybe I'm judging too quickly since I only read the first arc so far... but I gave it 16 chapters before judging and that's a lot compared to physical books where I would ditch if the story didn't hook me within the first 10 pages.

The premise is ABSOLUTELY confusing. The first chapter jumps right into a bullying scene and it kind of seems like your average QT set up where the MC wakes up and does something... except not? No where in the first arc does it explain the... more>> QT premise or anything. Through all 16 chapters I couldn't figure out if this is MC and ML's original world or if they are transmigrators, etc.

The novel also seems to try to be deep? There's random lines and sayings from the Bible, philosophers, etc everywhere that the translator kindly explained in the notes, but I still feel like the the author is missing a chapter 0 just to explain the overarching plot of the novel.

The transitions between scenes is also confusing too. I actually still can't figure out what happened to the ML in the first arc? The classmates dragged him off to bully him but what did they do? It seemed like they stripped him and took humiliating pictures/videos, but then there's a scene where he is bloody and begging for someone to call an ambulance because he was injured and dying... but then it's revealed later on that he committed su*cide. And during all this, MC was going to save him but somehow fainted randomly and was out for a day or two?

Spoiler

Also I REALLY don't understand the ending in chapter 16. All of a sudden ML is alive again? WHAT?

[collapse]

Like, the scenes don't transition well and it's actually really hard to follow along.

I'll most likely try reading a few chapters of the next because I can see from other reviews that the premise might be explained in the next arc. If not, most likely I will drop this novel. <<less

This was mind numbing for me. I felt like our MC was a piece of cardboard that had little to no emotion. The first story was interesting, but it just went down hill from there. The only real reaction came from him interacting with the ML. ML was a sticky yandere type but even he became super predictable and the side characters were all forgettable. Overall, I leave 3 stars, 2 for the translators because I can see their hard work, and 1 for the story. I really appreciate the... more>> content but idk...I guess I was looking forward to something more. I feel like if you want something similar that was actually quite entertaining I recommend "I Rely on Kisses to Clear Survival Games". <<less

Let's not talk about how I really regret the story has, so far, been abandoned by the website that was translating it, but about why I like this lovely story so much. I say straight away that it's probably for my own taste somewhat questionable.

When it comes to romance, it's sweet enough (with a couple super obsessive with each other with no chance of a 3 on the wheel) to the point where I actually think they're a couple of immortals, but the problem for many is probably with the... more>> scenario where every arc happens: EVERYONE is so damn gloomy, sad and depressing (you'll see the worst side of the minor characters while the protagonists don't get involved like watching a movie, so there is NO cute innocent shou but an indifferent to death), I personally don't think this affects the story (it's normal in quick transmigration plots to have dark stories in the background) , I like them because they are quick and interesting to read, full of surprises when it comes to people's psychology, I have a preference for stories like that as long as it doesn't affect the couple and hurt them, such as making them choose between saving someone or the person they love. It's ridiculous, I prefer a couple indifferent to their surroundings. Anyway, in conclusion, only the scenarios are gloomy, with the protagonists' backstory always being sad too, but not more than necessary in my opinion (the MC and ML have no memories for each other, but they always fall in love and feel obsessed with each other to the point of madness, despite the plot itself trying to avoid this by making the ML a character who should kill everyone, including the MC) <<less

Definitely one of my favourite BL novel! I don't know what to write for a review except for recommending people to at least try and read this novel at least once. Personally, although the novel is marked as horror and the plot related to blood, gore, supernatural, etc. I don't think it's THAT scary. So, if you're not good with ghosts but still want to read a novel about them, this novel is a great choice. I never get nightmare after reading it so yeah.

Below is a long paragraph of... more>> me telling my fav. Arc and why I like them.

Spoiler

My two favourite arcs are the first arc (thriller high school) and the sixth arc (ghost eyes). The reason why I like the first arc is that it's what got me hooked to continue reading this novel. But the sixth arc gave me a different feeling from all the other arcs. In this arc, our MC, Xiao Chen, is very lovey-dovey with the ML. I JUST LOVE THE LARGE AMOUNT OF DOG FOOD GIVEN TO US. But what made me really impressed is because the case about a little ghost girl really happened in real life. It was sad that in our world there are people who cheered other people to commit su*cide. They even think that the girl deserves to get r*ped. It was nauseating, really. The culprit who r*ped the girl faced retribution of course. However, it's not just that. Ma Yang Yu, the boy who saw the incident happened, was not purely bad. He was a witness in the case but because he was scared he didn't support the girl, hence he was one of the reasons why she lost the case and commit su*cide. But once he knew what he did wrong, he tried to make up for it. He wanted to change the statement, but since he's young back then the court didn't allow him to. He carried the guilt with him until the present. If this was any other horror novel, Ma Yang Yu will be that one scum bag who did something wrong but tried to deny it and push the blame. It was also great to be able to see Li Qiaoyi stood up and protect Ma Yang Yu from getting haunted by the ghost. I'm rooting for this couple. Also, Lu Yi Ming, a person who was supposed to get rid of the Ghost King (our ML in this arc), was not brain dead cannon fodder. Once he saw that the ML met Xiao Chen and knew that he couldn't harm them, he steps back and stays away from the couple. At that time, I was like, thank god for not trying to disrupt their world. Lu Yi Ming even got his own ghost boyfriend before he met the main couple. So, to sum it up, the sixth arc got three couples for us to enjoy! Although the other didn't have many scenes it still makes me smile.

not very scary and there's gore, so keep that in mind if you have a weak stomach (it's not at My House of Horrors level of gore but there is some). The MC and ML are equally obsessive and the lack of memory is both confusing and intriguing.

some stories are tight, but there are several stories that, despite being horror, completely lack any sense of urgency or tension. I don't generally like amnesia based stories but the mystery behind the memory loss will keep most readers reading despite the flaws.... more>> A decent infinite flow type. 3.5 <<less

Not much in the fear factor, but the gore was good and I still enjoyed it.
The MC is so interestingly normal the only thing he has so far were his looks, IQ and the mutually instinctual love for the ML which is really cute. The ML also grew on me so I’ll be waiting for what else drive him to be what he currently is.

Honestly, I always have addiction towards these type of BL novels. Not that everyone agrees, but I really like every arc mentioned here, although, I really hoped that there would be less deaths, not that I am complaining.

I love the MC and ML, I feel very sad about ML's every arc backstory, and I really like the possessiveness that ML shows MC

by marking him with a snake tightly wrapped around a rose, the snake representing ML and the rose being MC, and how the snake's (ML) tight wrapping around the rose (MC) represents his possessiveness and probably his undoubted loyalty towards MC.

Though I don't really agree to that one arc, where young ML decided to give young MC (they're probably less than 10 and 14 years old here) the tattoo representing the two of them.... <<less
