I can't give solid review cause it lacks material (only 55 chapters so far), it will be unfair. Until adequate chapters are available, I'll hold back my opinion. But I can give tiny bitty opinion. This books has good premise and interesting, I get some fluctuations of emotions (yeah I steal this from TGFNSYL) when I read this. I would like to read it till the end in English. Moreover, the author is North Night!!!

I mean, its fine. Not terrible, not great.

Its just kind of a pretty straight forward cultivation story I guess? There is a revenge aspect to it, but its not planned out too well, just pretty straight forward. From A to B, boom obstacle overcome. Next, C to D, obstacle overcome, D to E.. etc etc etc etc...

So yeah, it just feels boring, no tension, no foreshadowing, nothing on the line, no intricate thought out story, plot, scheming. And the "romance" just feels cliche but also boring? Like the scenario that... more>> pits them together is SO cliche

Oh she has the heart of a demon, it originally belongs to him. Oh it has a consciousness now and wants them to have a baby (wtf), now he has to find a reason/convince her to have a baby with him...

yet their interactions are pretty brief and not romantic or interesting...

The MC also just keeps lvling up super ez and one boon after the next befall her too easily.

It all just boils down to mediocrity thats very boring; not awful but not great. <<less

I have read lengthy novels, and I am all up for cultivation and power-ups, but this novel was really way off the mark.

Gets repetitive, I mean the same thing again and again. Like after 4 scenarios all same, you can already understand what is happening. At first, it seemed like a gem but this turned out to be hopeless. I have dropped it and have no plans to read it in the future.

I have read Genious Doctor black belly miss but it keeps me interested.

UTTER DISAPPOINTMENT.

This story has a nice plotline that is set from the start meaning that everything is relevant to an extent. However this story is the epitome of having an MC with plot armor. No matter what happens all her enemies have zero IQ. She will get the most OP powers out if nowhere. The romance is non existent other than somehow having the Long guy be in love with her. But there is absolutely no explanation or lead up as to why. Her powers grow in an erratic manner with... more>> her gaining power ups due to the plot. I don't recommend reading this story overall as the plot armor in the story is what pushes the story further.

Overall it turn out she is the reincarnation of the holy dark temple and the paragon temple. Her parents are the dragon ancestor and we're killed due to her being in the future the strongest cultivator. This was because in order to become Tian (strongest) a brother and sister fought. In the end they both lost. The sister cloned her body in order to nurture her heart. However the clone wasn't up to par so it had to reincarnate. The evil dude turn out to be the holy nature god and her lover is a chess piece who fell in love with her? And helped her over come all difficulties by giving her powers and abilities through out the story.

I've read other Ye Bei's novels and she certainly writes well and is well translated. So, this one is the lowest rated of four of her novels. It is still interesting and serves to pass time if there is nothing else to read, but the quality is a bit lacking.

There are a couple of things that rub me the wrong way, but that is just me.

One is the FL is human with the heart of god in her. If that is not off-putting enough, it's the heart of the demon god, in essence the heart of a demon, of the essence of evil. The author plays with the idea of organ transplant since chapter one, for example, the FL's spiritual root was cut out of her body and transplanted into another girl's body (who then will be after her heart as well!). So I do not know if she will ever have a normal human heart both literally and metaphorically speaking, otherwise, I am not that interested to read about someone with the superdemonic heart in them, the epitome of all that is evil.

The FL was adopted as a newborn by a couple that lost their newborn baby. The FL never knew about it in her first life, so she thought that there were two legit misses in their family and one adopted as an orphan. Thinking that she herself was legit she mocked the adopted one (who schemed against the FL and their dad) not because she was the bad seed, but because she was adopted, a nobody. That is terribly low of her. Later on she learned about being adopted as well and... nada. She still felt that she was legit and made decisions about the Ye family's affairs as if she was their legitimate daughter and heiress, not the third miss who was away studying.

Overall, this have been an enjoyable read. At some point I want to give it 3 stars, but overall I like happy endings. ? The novel has a strong start, the middle was a bit weak with lots of plot holes. The plot armour is too strong sometimes, however the ending does make up for it. (At least for me)

At some point it just feels like she’s going around aimlessly from one place to another. The goal of finding her mother takes a back seat. There was too much filler, and the story started to became too loose with lots of things throwed together.

A lot of the characters that was implied to be important was almost forgotten at some point. But the ending&extras made up for it.

Fights can be lacklustre, I kinda expected more dramatic OOMPH. For me it’s more like a slice-of-life/diary of the Empress. ? I could be wrong though, since I MTL the last 2000 chapters hahah.

What I like:

/ the world building was good. But the stories of different realms can be confusing at times.

/ the powerful ML takes a backseat. Its all about the Empress.

But I do wish they’ll be more together. He disappears for most of stories aaannd if I haven’t read the novel description, I wont even classify this as a romance

actually, im not sure if giving it a 4 is too good for this novel. I am never fond of thousand chapter novels because there are things that for sure will happen: Repetitive story lines, s*upid filler, s*upid villains. And as the novel goes into the 700 range logic starts to dissapear in order for the MC to seem op as villains become stronger and stronger in power rather than intellectually. I have to say, its good but no too bad. It isnt the worse of the transmigration rebirth xianxia... more>> bullsit ive seen. It actually isnt as repetitive as black belly genius doctor which is one of the most overrated things ive read. These type of novels arent bad, it just gets s*upid near the middle until the end. This is one of those novels you read when your bored, when you get the gist of whats going on looking at spoilers can satisfy you more than how dragged on the story is. However, if your looking for romance you gonna be in for a long journey, that stuff only starts in the middle, and this novel has 2400 chapters so goodluck. <<less
