This novel taught me a lot of things, and one of them is that care, love, and respect between parent and child should not be quantified by either party - just try to give more, if possible, than what you receive. Overall rating: 4.4.

This is about how a race known by the world for their destructive force and indomitable nature became a protective and lovable species whose only goal in life is to care for their king (Gu Huai). It's a story about mutual respect and love between the king... more>> and his subjects, and how the former changes the latter from empty apathetic shells into responsive and passionate individuals. In a sense, this may be classified as a love story, a very endearing one at that.

Translation quality is okay - a lot of typo errors every now and then but it does not obstruct you from understanding the gist of the chapters. This story touched my mind and heart a lot that there were chapters where all I want to do was cry or breathe because I realize I was holding my breath from being so affected by the scenes. A lot of life lessons were reflected throughout the story - it's a sort of an eye-opener in some ways. Definitely a great read, and will read it again especially on times when I am down or sad. <<less

This is a super cute and heartwarming novel! Definitely read it when you need something to pick you up.

Don't expect too much of plot, just enjoy all the cuteness and fluff overload and the MC being pampered by everyone!!

This is 100% fluff. There's not really much plot, but it's sweet, light read. A little bit of deus ex machina but not excessive. I wasn't personally a fan of this couple; I have never seen a bigger doormat than MC and the cold, possessive ML trope is getting a little stale, but hey... to each their own.

The only thing is I had a lot of difficulty reconciling the characters as actual Zerg. The whole time I was just imagining them as some sort of beast man. I mean ML... more>> is basically a dragon... <<less

Just an advice.

Read The Kings Game first. Just finished it. The first arc was very hard to read bc of Im Not Human. U cant skip the arc in the Kings Game as there are important details in it but after reading INH it so so hard. The rest of TKG was fantastic btw.

So good. I want more TT^TT. Very fluffy. The part where MC is pampered by everyone is very funny

It's really rare for me to suddenly post a review considering I've been lurking on this website for a year now.

What I like about this story is it's fluidity, well-rounded characters, a complete world building, the fluffines and cute zergs. I really like the protagonists but what made me grip into hilding this novel tightly are zergs around the MC. The alpha zergs are well fleshed out and so are the low level zergs that took care of the MC you can imagine just how much they want to protect... more>> this baby MC and how they also get to learn what emotions are and its so cute XD.

The moments are just memorable and fun and for the people that like fluff you will definitely like this story. <<less
