My Son Might Be A Villain

Description

Su Ran, a music prodigy, woke up transmigrated into a book.

At that point in time, the main story arc in the book had already been completed. As a villainess female supporting character, not only did she need to take over the original owner’s pitiful life in poverty, she also gained an instant son right at his rebellious period.

Ten or so more years from then, the son would turn into a twisted, evil villain. He would appear in one of the extra chapters to pick on the male and female lead’s children.

***

Su Ran: Son, you shouldn’t be too outstanding.
Su Han: Why not?
Su Ran: ’cause you will be killed.

Su Ran: Son, would you like to learn music from me and become a zen, little fairy boy who only needs to drink dew.
Su Han: No, I want to go into business so I can support you.

Some chapters away from completing this novel, I actually had some minor dissatisfaction, but actually seeing past Su Han just made me tear up and now just satisfied that Su Han got to be happy. To hell with romance and reason, our Su Han deserves his happiness. I really recommend this heart-warming story.

The story is really good and very enjoyable to read. The ending is also very satisfying and touching. Definitely one of my all-time favorite reads♡

Spoiler

I really appreciate the closure chapters for original Su Ran, Su Han, and Lu Shao near the end.

The main story itself is filled with fluff and cute family interaction.

For the original Su Ran's ending, I thought Song Zeyu was gone to look for her all these years.. but I'm really glad she ended up finding someone like Mr. Gu as her significant other. Although it means there is no Su Han in this alternate world because the incident between her and Lu Shao didn't happen, but I still wish all the best for the original Su Ran and Lu Shao at there.

Also, the closure for original Su Han in the original story, although he was defeated by the Song's but his father Lu Shao still found him and ended up rescuing him. Original Su Han also experienced around 5 days of transmigration as main story Su Han where he has a complete family consisted of father, mother, and 2 younger siblings. He got to experience this kind of family's warmth and I was so touched for these moments huhuhuhu ;;---:; Original Su Han realized this isn't a dream, but an alternate reality where his mother didn't end up dying... still, when original Su Han finally returned to his world and main story Su Han was back just in time for the college entrance examination, main story Su Han was quite baffled because he thought the college entrance examination was suddenly held 5 days earlier LOL.

On the other hand, after original Su Han returned to his world, he started called Lu Shao 'Dad' after a slipup because he used to call him that in the other alternate world in those 5 days (ugh, I'm tearing up again). Original Su Han also started to understand Lu Shao as his father better too. The two's relationship felt like going to grow closer from that moment on.

[collapse]

Overall, the author really gave many satisfying ends :')

Love this story so much! Thank you author for sharing this story with us?❤ <<less

Some said MC here is weak depending on ML but considering her past life she was a shutin master pianist n composer. Still she did a good job in improving her new life and instant son life. Well she was minding her own business but some past people like oriFL of novel come to bother her that isn't her mistake..... more>>
Spoiler

well my heart broke for ori son (novel life) even though he was saved by ML of that life at end and he did get to see his "new life for five days" which he feels didnt belong to him. But I did hoped that Su han and his Dad did have MC in orinovel story too maybe not as his mother (as she is dead) but maybe in other person..

Author did gave oriMC a good ending but considering how pathetic of mom she was to Su han I didn't have any pity for her (well she was r*ped at 16 which she organised for fp and got disowned, pregnant and duped in red district for 5 years by fp n mp which she continued after that)

But the way she did treated Su Han offset all pity for her. Su han grew up wild. She threw him in a garbage bin when born, didnt feed him and many more things..

ML even accepted MC disregarding her past at red district even though our MC was a transmigrator.

This story is filled with MC and her son interactions later on adding ML too.. a tiny bit antgst that too is orifp creating probs which ML solved for Su Ran otherwise it is fully fluff.

I love MC character. She didn't go all out at first with Su Han as son rather treated him as a roommate. The way she cared for Su han is so funny like giving him homework and then having Su han interact more with his friends, asking him about any love interest, then thinking about buying Su han a home later too for marriage...

When ML tells MC about him being Su han Dad her first thought was * dog blood drama then thinking ML is here for retirement from Su han (which was what su han thought too) . Then she remembers how oriML son can read advanced economics n she was like to ML can you teach that to Su Han..

Her idea is Su Han can't be lagging at any places comparing to oriML son who smashed villian Su Han..

Su Han was always like at guard that she won't go back to her*work*..

It isn't like some novels where past is forgotten in a single day rather it took time for Su Han to took off his guard with MC.

During ML n Su Han standoff when MC took Su han to meet ML as his Dad (while they have already met before). ML was like staring at Su han with his oppressive aura and Su Ran was like to ML - mr lu this is my son why are smashing him in front of me...
Out of 100 chaps I guess 95 are fluff...

I dont get it, why is social media berating her, call her shameless for happened when she was 16, she was 16 when she was banished and had to give birth to a kid, then had to work as a prostitute to survive, now that the person is trying to standup again why would you abuse her, to me it feels admirable that someone got through all of that yet has enough strength to try to stand up on her own feets, either this novel is too dumb, or if... more>> this kind of response does actually happen then the society is fcked up, ok dropping now. <<less

First of all, there's no psychological logic in this novel. I enjoyed it very much, but I hate that EVERY characters in the novel did not care about what really happen with the og Su Ran, even the FL herself

Spoiler

I find it very annoying that the FL got Su Ran's memory but very ignorant about what reallt happen to her She got no emotion about what happen w/ her? Okay, after all she's not her. But, HOW COME. JUST HOW COME She's also think that Su Ran is really bad? She got her memory for all those years from when she got kicked out out the Su's and then be alone while pregnant, while in the age of 15/16. AND YET SHE JUST THOUGHT "WELL, SHE DESERVED IT." She got both knowledge about the novel and Su Ran's memory yet still very ignorant and basically ignore what the og experienced.

[collapse]

I dk if the author writing the FL character to be like this on purpose, but I don't like it. I like the story, I like her interaction with her son. But I don't like how the author describe some of the character's thought about the og Su Ran. Especially the FL

Well, ML's secretary/assistant is not bad tho, he once stated that Su Ran is not in the wrong or something, at least he actually feels sympathy for her.

I still in the halfway of the story, but 3/5 is the maximum I can give for this story. <<less

CUTE CUTE CUTE, 5 stars, I miscl**ked 3 stars.

FL is strong minded person. Also super cool.

... more>> Even it might be UNREALISTIC that ML fell in love with FL at the first sight, worth it. As FAR as C186, it’s drama free. It was so relaxing and peaceful, satisfied my mind.

FL’s instant son is cute. It was my first time to read the novel with FL raising Teenage boy. But, this son doesn’t have any turbulent teenage rebellious manner and behavior. I think it’s because it’s his first time to get his mother’s love and attention and he doesn’t dare to treat her harshly fearing he would lose again. Boy is TSUNDERE. But not frustrating type. Mother and instant son’s interaction is cute and fun. If you like the novel FL transmigrated into the novel and raising the child like me, THIS NOVEL IS WORTH IT.

For translation and plot building, and author’s writing skill, ALL PROFESSIONAL. Thank you very much for translating this FUN NOVEL.

AGAIN, SORRY FOR MISCLICKING 3 STARS. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ <<less

A rather decent story, it had a really interesting premise and I like the tsundure son Su Han as well. The FL and ML however are not very likeable. Decent, but nothing much about them. Transmigrated FL isn't really a good mum. Su Han might be independent but he's still a kid, and he had went through years of neglect from his mother og FL. I felt that more could have been done to build up the relationship between the two of them, after all isn't this story about mother and son? Their relationship is decently portrayed, but it was underwhelming and had so so much more potential. I have no idea how ML came into the picture either. He suddenly falls in love with the FL and fights with Su Han over her, once again—underwhelming.

The breakthrough I saw
Spoiler

was in the last few chapters, when Su Han from the present switched consciousness with Su Han from the past timeline, and his interactions with ML and him finding out ML has actually saved past timeline him made me finally root for their relationship as father and son! Kudos to the author for giving both Su Hans from the current and past timeline happy endings T.T

[collapse]

Speaking about potential, the FL had SO MUCH more potential than just being the mother/wife protected by her son/husband. She has talents and abilities but they were never really fully expanded on, I was hoping to see how FL works hard and achieves things but it never happened. Plus things that happened to original FL that led to her death were just lightly brought across.

The lack of development and the potential the novel had is what made me give the novel 3/5. I somewhat enjoyed it, but there was so much more that could have been done.

An OK read with some humor, squint a bit for romance. Story so far is MC cleaning up 'her' act, earning money with her mad piano/composition skills, attracting ML, gaining kid's love and trust. For a kid abused for 12 years to the extent that he has to survive on leftovers and neighbor's generosity, the son is shown to be waaaay too OP, with no emotional/psychological trauma associated, and starts trusting/caring for MC really quick...

For a stone cold president ML, who scares his subordinates and family, he falls for the... more>> MC way too fast. ML-son interactions are funny as a reader, but if you think from an abused child (son) 's point of view, ML is further emotionally abusing the kid, but author chalks it up to puberty and rebellious age. And as usual in C-novels, antagonists/cannon-fodder's companies fail and their stocks crash within a day of ML waving his hands...

Orig-MC's past is a horrifying mess with teenage pregnancy after getting r@ped, thrown out of her family, being forced into prostitution!!... all that at ~16 yrs old, and when MC's ~14-15 yr old, she is so much into the book-ML that she attacks book-FL crazily, using acid attacks, r@pe etc... how does that work!!???

The family fluff is average, not very heartwarming or cute, if you were wanting that sort of thing.

The son is so much of a tsundere, and his act just got really boring and tiring after a bit. He needs to up his game and start acting kawaii. Also his rivalry with his dad really made me think that he has an Oedipus complex...

The romance was meh, boring. ML fell in insta love with the MC, and I honestly don't know why. She is a white lotus and very boring, I... more>> might add. I'm sad her music carer never took off, despite her having master level piano skills.

Spoiler

They end up having another child. They though it would be a girl, so preapred everything for girls, including girl names, but it turned out to be a boy.... MC has this small obsession, so used all the girly things she brought for 1 year until he grew out of it. She also kept his "girl" name as his nickname lol.

This is a very good story with solid characters development. The story focus on Su Ran and her son relationship (with the ML on the later chapters). Not much face slapping, but still very enjoyable read. I won't mind to read this again if there's a proper translation

I've only read up to chapter 39 of the English translation but I decided to read them all MTL.

The premise is simple and you can say that the plot is pretty neatly packaged. It's an enjoyable read but it's not that deep and the antagonists in the new timeline are not multi-dimensional. They're basically just there for plot convenience. The ML Lu Shao is good but he's not that interesting either. He's mostly interesting when he's interacting with Su Han.

However, I still gave this 5 stars simply because I love... more>> the dynamic between the Su Ran and Su Han. It's very heart-warming that even when the ML comes into the picture, everything Su Ran does is centered around her son's well-being. The bittersweet extras about the original Su Han really made this novel worthwhile. The author can honestly write this novel in the 2 Su Hans' perspective and I'd eat it up.

Spoiler

Su Han became cruel due to his circumstances and I think he tried to drive all the people involved in his mother's death into bankruptcy (?) Ofc, no revenge goes without self-inflicted suffering. Before his attempted su*cide, Su Han reflected upon his mother's death and has vision about his other life. Lu Shao stopped him at the right moment and took him to live with him. My guess is that had Su Han not seen his other life, he wouldn't have gone with LS.

He also transmigrated into his other self for 5 days before his university entrance exam. I'm so glad that he got to experience this happy life but love it when he accepted to let go and came back to his world because he knew that this life was not his (also because he doesn't want to ruin his other self's exam). On his return, he noticed that the Lu Shao of his timeline is not really different from his dream and they are both just people hardened by their loneliness and start to reconnect at the end.

[collapse]

I might be reading too much into the extra but I just love the concept of it. I can think of a lot of ways for this novel to be fleshed out further but nonetheless, a fun and light read. <<less

The start was promising because it is not the usual transmigration series where as the MC could have avoided being labeled as a villain. Its genre is more of slice of life et al interaction between MC and her son. Though I guess it could have been more different if MC stayed as a single mother all throughout the story, becase I dont like how overbearing and cunning the ML is. He's the "ML"- typical cold business tycoon that can overthrow any business competitor whenever he want. And I agree... more>> that I felt that he was there just to solve the problems for MC. He was the reason I felt that reading this was becoming boring and dragging. Lol difference in preference I presume.

Correct me of I'm wrong but I dont know if some of the questions I'll write below are considered as plot holes, either I just did not understand some things, or its just that I did not finish reading the story, but below are the following:

Spoiler

1. I think that Su Ran adapted easily with the life of being a mother given the fact that she was below 20 and has been relying on her assistants.

2. There are not any deep reasons how ML manged to fell in love with Su Ran.

3. Su Ran's backstory was lacking. How she doesnt have any parents but has assitstant... Was she adopted to become a musical genius?

[collapse]

I read the mtl'ed version btw. And again, I think that preference really matters. <<less

I love the interaction between MC and her son, it's cute cause the son is a big tsundere!

however the plot was a bit fast pace to me and I wish there was more snu snu with the MC and ML.

Also wished there was more drama cause the novel was a bit plain.

I am making an account specifically to showcase my disappointment in this series. It started strong but sh*t started to hit the fan the moment the ML was introduced.

Spoiler

With a title featuring "Son" in the title, there would be a lot more focus on the MC healing the boy's traumas from the neglect he suffered for several years under the original Owner of the body. For a while, it seemed to head in that direction initially, but Lo and behold, the story takes a dunk on Su Han (the son) the moment his biological father is introduced. It is not so bad in the first few times, but it becomes clear that the story starts to sidetrack and treat the boy as a side character in favor of Lu Shao (Male Lead) 's skirt-chasing toward Su Ran (FL). The story seems to pass it off as cute bickering but one can't shake off the fact that Su Han is only that clingy and protective towards the FL because of his past maltreatment and neglect, the male lead doesn't help abate this due to his "Oh stinky boy I'm, taking your mom and there's nothing you can do about it" attitude.

[collapse]

Overall if you don't mind these things it is still a decent read if you don't mind the glaring issues I pointed out. <<less

I love this story. It's short and sweet and not too heavy, emotionally speaking. The MC, Su Ran, is the sort of transmigrator I would be if stuck in the unenviable position of inheriting a sloppy woman's life. And by that I mean, I wouldn't be emotionally invested in whatever drama happened in the past. I appreciate the author not going in-depth about what happened in "Su Ran's" life when she was young because what little we know is enough to make me wince. Like a fifteen-year-old shouldn't be acting... more>> like that, much less what those supposed adults did to her afterward. But I digress...

The MC and her fake son, Su Han, are the best part of the story. I like that their relationship slowly becomes real mother-and-son, on the part of the MC. The ML in this story is really an extra. He doesn't make much of an impact, to me at least. I could have continued reading just a story of MC and her son and it would be sweet.

All in all, it's a nice story which not too many ups and downs. <<less

The first MTL I've ever read. Its not fully translated yet, until now so yeah. But the story is so dmn good! My villain fetish was satisfied by this.

The FL was actually not the original villain since she transmigrated into the novel. But what I liked best was how she took up the responsibility of raising the original's son, who also became a villain at the end of the novel.

Yet, in this one, since the FL changed their lives,

I like how the author showed that sometimes, the original ptotagonists might not be that happy at all. Like this one, the original protagonists were driven by their halos to fall in love with each other but actually, they were not that in love. And also, the FL's husband,

I really loved the concept of how the orig. ML

Yes, the original was bad but she was just in love. The orig. FL was such a hypocrite.

Super thumbs up to this awesome concept of making the villain of the original novel have a good life more than the original protagonists in her own story.

And also the extra where

the son dreamed of the original novel and learned that in the end, he was saved by his father. It was an emotional moment.

Im looking for more scenes of song family especially the wife... But unfortunately there wasn't...

Its a good novel though I don't feel the spark when it comes to our main leads romance.. but it's not that bad. Sometimes we don't need some obvious and uncontrollable dokie dokie just to say that we are in love....

There's no intense face slapping because ML is to OP for it. He took care of everything without the need to mention step by step in the novel. ML is like.....

ML: don't worry I'll take care of it.

after a few minutes enemy company went bankrupt.

............ end of counterattact.. 😂

Anyways my favorite character here is Su Han....... A tsundere boy. :)

Just wanted to have fun reviewing a novel based on reviews instead of reading it.

My thoughts, unfortunately it happens hell of a lot of time that an MC transmigrate to have a instant child who has been abused/neglected/mistreated, etc. And said child gets over the past fairly quickly, proceeds to act like nothing ever happened, and holds on to the “new” MC with a clingy possessive death grip.

Would this happen in real life? In some cases since children are so vulnerable they turn to the only other person (especially destitute... more>> single mother is basically all he has) and sticks to that person come hell or high water while the opposite can also happen hating the mom, wanting to get rid of her when of age, etc.

When it comes to the psychological viewpoint no one has the right answer because every brain is wired differently.

I should review again after reading, might be too lazy or forget about it, but for now I don’t see anything wrong in the instant son going with the flow and MC accepting help from an absentee father (even though he didn’t know (simple case of look back twice to where you put your C*** never know what has been left behind)) anyhow honestly r*pe babies should have an option to be aborted for free, does China have anti abortion laws? Most novels like these and others have almost always a child made through r*pe but they aren’t aborted, or abandoned and even if they are (which are a pitiful few), the MC’S are heavily criticized I wonder why? <<less
