I read this novel for 15chapter but I can't stand this anymore.

What with this linear plotstory line. It's all about a protagonist that has some prejudice against heroine (of the otome game) and decide to think like "yeah, she's definitely a b*tch". I mean what the f*ck is that. While I understand that his fiance is so f*cking cute but that doesn't mean you have to prejedice her even before you actually met her! And of course let's make protagonist think he's above everyone else WHY NOT!? Everyone so s*upid and he is smart that's some low life mind set.
I almost forgot about this fast-pace novel. You see I don't see anything like character developtment in this novel at all. The writer just write anything he want to do in there. I won't complain if it results in something like "kuma kuma kuma bear" but this is awful. You can't expect me to like this novel
All in all, because of protagonist mind set and b*tch, it make this story so black-white that I found it boring&awful

The concept is simple and decent enough, which is more than what I can say about the story itself. Appearing as the female antagonist's fiance, they easily fall into a very cheesy relationship, where they pretty much both love everything about each other just coz, and the MC nitpicks at everything female lead and everyone on her side does as a comparison - because you can't support one woman without demeaning another... >>

There's probably... more>> a deeper plot developing, and it's possible the story could get better later on... but it's a steep climb to reach 'enjoyable' since the story's just too biased and skewed just to justify the MC's opinion.

Similar stories: It resembles Common Sense of a Duke's Daughter in the fact that the MC can do no wrong, though the writing and 'twists' are weaker. But there's a lot of these types of stories. <<less

Initially, I was pretty put off by this series. It seemed to be a very cheesy cut-and-dry light novel that's exactly what it says on the tin: villainess character is so obviously a good person the idea that anyone would consider her a villain is ridiculous, characters are both immediately in love and there are no issues between them whatsoever, heroine is clearly a huge sl*t, ect. Additionally, the line of the summary that talks about avoiding the heroine because of his 'head getting screwed up' doesn't actually mean anything.... more>> He doesn't get mentally forced into acting out the game, he just gets irritated. That was something I was really looking forward to tbh.

However, I stuck through it and actually found myself pleasantly surprised. It goes places - explores some interesting ideas that I haven't seen other otome-game reincarnation series try. The atmosphere actually starts getting pretty serious at a point, though it still finds time for fluffy moments.

Overall, if you're going to give this a try I think you should keep in mind that the simplicity and initial nonsensical nature of it does get fleshed out.

EDIT: For those who want a more definite change point, I've re-read the series and chapter 18 is where things start really picking up. <<less

Hmmmm... How the story was written was quite bland but the story itself is very very interesting.

You need to have perseverance to read this bc sometimes the undertone/air/pace suddenly becomes boring.

The BL, yes, I never expected that. It is just one sided though.

1. The Prince Kyle (Reincarnated) -he's really hilarious. I can feel his sweetness towards Angelica but he became a sore dumb to me. But, I really like him.

Daniel, he has the Sebastian Michaelis air.

Louis, the demon lord in the shadow.

Unexpectedly, the antagonist that I, unfortunately like was Prince Henry. He has this obsession for a certain girl and plans to kill Prince Kyle because of her and when his plans goes upside down, and the girl got together with another man, he plans to kill him this time but his hate suddenly turns into obsession but never acknowledged it.

Michelle, I don't particularly like nor hate her... but she's really an idiot.

... Ok long story short.. diabetes.. its got romance its got action a non dense indecisive harem seeking male and a heroine thats adorable..... don't get me wrong it does have its short comings but its short and sweet so it a pretty good read~

Not good, not bad... too bad there's no 2, 5 star rating but as this web novel is complete and the translator went the extra mile to complete it (a feat still rare at this time), I'll round it to a 3/5.

It has some fun moments (carefull, high sugar intake, and lot of baka couple chapters here) but the side characters and main love interest are really shallow, the antagonists are even worse, and the main character while saying that overusing his authority as a first prince is a proof... more>> of worthlessness, resolve all his problems by telling his buttler to resolve it or by contacting his father, the emperor, asking to put pressure on the opponent family or solving the matter directly.

To sum up the story, the MC is uterly useless (apart from being used as a bait and getting lovey dovey with his fiancé), and his buttler is all powerfull, solving every problem as an over buffed up version of Doraemon... <<less

It started well, and the fact that the MC loved his fiancee becoming a person who protect her from everything, I like even more, but then everything went downhill. With the simple appearance of a character, the MC change from being a "clever" person (?) to become another typical Japanese character who only knows how to cry while waiting for others to do something, despite having power.

For example, when he discovered that some students are masturbaban with the photo of its fiancée. The MC instead of getting angry, simply was scared and decided to flee of all that. Seriously, this is a shit. So many words of love and protection for to be frightened for a few simple pe*verts. [/ Spoiler]

These are my personal opinion.

Four star for fluff aside from that zero.

Main character is a prince, and he is handsome. Aside from that he has no good point. The MC is too s*upid. He is a prince but he left his fiance without a few guards even though he did know that somepeople will try to hurt her again and again. He already know who is the culprit and caught one of them in the act. Guess what kind of punishment did the culprit get? He asked his butler to... more>> tamper his mind and make him cripple. Thats it. That guy are trying to r*pe his fiance and few other girls (his subordinate). But he only made him crippled. Didn't he love her fiance? Wasn't MC a royalty? He should have the capability to destroy and torture the criminal for whole life but he only cripple him and throw him out of the case. If that is the only thing that he did, I don't mind that much. But he, the MC seems crazy enough to feel bad to a criminal that almost r*ped his fiance. I did not know that not only he has no brain, he also do not have the capacity to love someone. I feel bad for his fiance. <<less

Although the plot is pretty good I just hate the MC. He’s such a pushover that it infuriates me to no end. Absolutely no backbone. Tr*sh protagonist ruined it for me.

It was a pretty enjoyable and good read during the beginning chaps, but the loviness started to get repetitive. Then at a certain point the plot started to get annoying from a reader's thought perspective and somewhat dull due to the plots being predictable and serving only for the purpose of writing more romance relation subplots which were fun and enjoyable at first but later, again... repetitive

I like the idea of the story. I hope to find more story with similar set (ML got reincarnated to otome game love interest and goes for the villainess).

as one of the reviewers said above this story does not have anything seriously taken except that the MC has to eliminate some pe*verts even which looks serious is actually funny. Just go into the story for comedy and romance not for anything else

I like how the MC is a competent one... to an extent (probably due to the original education as the heir of the empire) MC is competent, but he lacks experience which is quite obvious seeing as how he just a teenager.... no matter how smart u are, there's a thing called life experience that he had yet to accumulate so obviously he's not perfect a thing I lke actually, he will from now on learn from his mistakes and accumulate experience and hopefully, when he ascend to the throne he can handle it with his mind and experience...... a teenager, or even a youth that could already plan flawlessly and completely overwhelm his adversary is actually creepy, weird, and even if viewed positifly, tend to result in overgloryfying the MC.....

There's also a matter about how the MC is seen as h*mophobia, but I think this isn't quite right.... I think rather than fearing a man that come to love (or obssessed) with him..... I think he's afraid of becoming a target of a sicko who..... according to the game:

the only ending that result in the heroine truly happy is the harem one..... one one ending he made her a spy on foreign countries by using her appeal (i think it's hinted that she had to use her body to do it), on another ending he kidnapped the heroine, put her in jail and trwat her as s*x s*ave or pet? W/E it was... in the bad end, he mu*dered the heroine, chop her up, and then hang her body in his room like one of those animal thropy...... imagine that realizing you had become the target of that kind of sicko, I think anyone would wanted to st least few kilometers away from him....... now I know that there's some joke that made it seemed like the MC had h*mophobia..... but I think it's more of fear for a lunatic than a gay......

I think I would've give this novel a 5 star.... the only reason I don't is the existence of butlers..... now I know that not all butlers are cheat existence.... but the one that the MC had is far too op that it made things looks easy for the MC..... I think the whole butlers system in this novel needs to be reworked.... the essentials things about them are fine..... but they shouldn't be that op especialy few that is so op that it made me think: why didn't they just enthorned him as the emperor? Or give him control of the country as prime minister or w/e..... they sre that op in every aspect after all! And u won't even need to guard him!

Don't get me wrong, it's a 3 star mainly out of my own preference, not because the story was particularly bad, it's just plain for anything beyond the romance. Good story but I believed Story like "Botsuraku Youtei Nanode" And "My Death Flags Show No Sign of Ending" have better heroine/hero.

They show game original MCs act like real game heroine/hero, which made it harder to deal with them.

Here, the original heroes and villains have reverse rules, which make it easier to act.

Like how he said Robert mother was smart because she decided to withdraw Robert engagement instead of breaking it and calling Robert idiot of doing that and forget how he is the one who force Robert to break his engagement... (He give him order as the prince to break his engagement).

And worst part that it's not 100% Robert fault for falling in love. it's like blaming that Prince from "Seven" novel for falling in love with Celes and breaking his engagement with his fiancee to marry her.
Only different is that game heroine do it spontaneously (without thinking).

Or how MC hated Robert for falling in love with other girl because he already have fiancee but have zero problem in helping his brother in law stealing (NTR) someone else fiancee.

And best part? MC and his fiancee call Robert idiot and angry at him for raising his voice in the party because people will find out about their chat...
Umm... Hello? You are in freaking party, even if you didn't raise your voice, many will notice what happened and will start the rumors either way. if you want to keep it secret, then you should talk to him alone not in middle of freaking party!

Not to mention that Just the fact she bring his crying fiancee inside will be more then enough to state the rumors.

Again:
Game heroine is same as Celes, she charm all males left and right to be her lover (s*ave).

So, MC blame all males for falling in love with her and calling them idiots instead of taking action till it become too late even though he know what will happened since it will Benefit his brother in law.

After all, he could try to keep Robert away from her charm spell from the earlier chapters like he done with his other friend, but MC kept him away from him, which lead Robert to spend more time with game heroine which made him to become madly in love with her earlier then he should be.

This is just not it. This WN is the epitome of cringe writing. None of the characters, including the MC, are smart. The author doesn't explain nearly anything. Instead he writes "The MC and his associates exchanged information and cooked up some very ingenious schemes, then they moved from the cafeteria to MC's room and came up with even more very ingenious schemes", day over, proceed to repeat the same thing in the next chapter. None of these "schemes" are ever explain, and 99% of the information exchanged remains unknown.... more>> Also, everything is always "scary", however the author just says that it's scary, we don't know what is scary or what happened. It's like having an elementary schooler explain a random situation and just saying that it's scary because it is.

There are a few chapters about pe*verted characters, and the author will stay in his notes something like "Writing this was so hard and cringe, I wish I didn't have to do it. I'm sacrificing my sanity for the story..." Motherf*cker, this is your story. You don't have to write it like that if you don't want to. You don't need to make a teacher a rapist sad*st yandere, and a prince from a foreign country a psychopath that wants to remove a girl's organs and place her stuffed corpse in his study for preservation. No one is holding you at gun point.

The MC is the crown prince of the main Empire of this world but he doesn't even have the guts to abuse his authority to protect his lover. He just exchanges "information" and cooks up "schemes" all day every day, but in the end the people he tries to protect end up approaching the enemy even when he warns them not to, and he just brute forces a happy ending by suing his overpowered daemon butler. Yeah, so much for wasting 1/3 of the story scheming when you end up using raw power.

Anyways, if the author needs to constantly remind you with adjectives that everyone is very smart and scary and cute and sh*t like that, then he can't write. If a character is smart or cute or whatever then those feelings need to appear in the reader naturally, and not because you say so. However, the only feelings that arose within me after 30+ chapters was disgust and cringe. f*ck, even the MC is a creep with his weird obsession for his fiancée. "If something happened to you, I'd kill myself." Bro, you're the future Emperor, you're shouldering many lives. Reign in your obsession, or at least try not to say that stuff in public and keep it in your heart.

3/5 because the plot is somewhat interesting, but the progression and the resolutions of the conflicts are cringe beyond belief. Also, every single character is a fool in love and their brains don't work. <<less

The first volume's translation quality is excellent.

Team Black quality is bad. They're confusing pronouns like, calling men, "her", and at times the point-of-view from whoever is talking is very confusing.

I really greatly enjoyed the story and I'll be finishing it with mtl on my own because of the translation quality.

It's alright. It's not bad, but some things aren't really satisfying for me.

Then again, I suppose for these types of novels, using logic wouldn't work out and would just disappoint you instead.

I give this a 3 star, personally I don't like how MCs physically intimate with villainess, the kissing her hand was normal, but then he goes on to kiss her face and ears the next day, maybe its due to their social morals in that world or if people actually transition that fast with someone they've just started holding hands with. Like she hasn't even stated that she likes him and my guys going for it like some kinda mol*ster. Instead of an isekai protagonist, MC acts and feels more... more>> like an actual otome game character whos super obsessed with villainess and kinda yandere.
