Ruan Qiuqiu had transmigrated into a cannon fodder that had the same name as her in the novel, Sweet Pampering in Ancient Times: Demon King Husband, Please Spare Me

Right now, there were two paths before her:

Option 1: Continue playing the role of the supporting female character. After a few rounds of being faceslapped by the female lead, she would die tragically in the beast tide.

Option 2: For the sake of the tribe having enough salt, marry the wolf tribe’s former chief, a fierce wolf demon that was disfigured, crippled, and possibly had personality issues.

Ruan Qiuqiu chose the second option without hesitation. She rather go live a peaceful and ambitious-free life than compete with the female lead over some guy.

Due to a mishap, Mr. Big Bad Wolf, who had the blood of fiends in him, had become disfigured, crippled, and blind.

He was on the verge of death and his tribe had abandoned him. When he fell to the state of being so hungry that he was gnawing on ice…

The young bride, who his tribe had exchanged 300 catties of salt for, carefully walked to his side and covered his ugly damaged body with an animal hide.

She softly called him, “Husband?”

A very boring novel where nothing happens. As of now the MC and the ML have yet to even properly communicate and both of them, especially the ML, are still struggling and almost dying every single day. The novel is not that long to begin with and the author completely fails in developing the storyline.

It' nice story. Daily life? / Slice of life story type. This novel about suffer in one winter season. When l read this I thought 'why life is so hard?', but I really enjoyed read this.

ML and MC are lovable. Not mary sue. ML is mighty wolf but author do a good job, really well writen so he not give an OP vibe. And they really cute together.

MC (or just me?) have hope for adult like time but Mister big bad wolf really pure. He start from holding hand so... more>> the relationship's cute and pure sweet love.

use over100 chapters to learn deep kiss hahaha

I highly recommend this one too <<less

The plot is barely moving with the amount of inner monologue of each character. The pitiful amount of feelings I feel for each moment instantly disappear every-time because of it. You don't need to describe so much, it's a waste of sentences but I guess it's a way to make the story longer.

I recommend "I Married a Disabled Tyrant After Transmigating" if you like this kind of premise where the FL is taking care of a 'villain'

Wow, I rarely read F/M, but... good stuff.

It's a bit slow though. Like, reeally slow. You get readers cheering that they've finally spoken to each other for example.

I like the worldbuilding and the characterization though! The angst and fluff are good.

It did just get dropped by the TL at Ch. 213 tho. I hope someone picks it ups oon.

Giving this a 2.5 ⭐️ Although the story idea is good, it’s very boring. I lost interest in it very fast and tried to push myself to finish it as it’s not that long of a novel but I couldn’t. This is just me though. Other have enjoyed it so I recommend others to read it themselves as they might like it :) just wasn’t for me.

A month ago I had completed read this story...I think it's an awesome story though the ending is batsh*t crazy w/o one making the heads or tails out of it but apart from that...I really loved how the FL kept on supporting him... how he kept doubting her but slowly his doubts evaporated... him eating vinegar at his own self (The FL keeps on refering to him as Tianluo wolf which he misunderstands as her lover's name)... the change of FL from an virg*n wolf to an actual "big-bad wolf"... more>> n lots more.. <<less

I’m dropping this one, honestly at first it was really interesting. I really liked the setting of the story and I thought the FL was cute and hardworking, but the ML and FL romance feels too constipating. They are constantly misunderstanding each other and it’s getting kind of boring.

There wasn’t too much progress in the relationship and the story setting wasn’t explained well which, to me, made it feel like it was a child’s story. It was cute and I don’t think it’s necessarily bad, but not good either.
Even though it’s slice of life it was a little too boring and not well written I think.
There aren’t many characters for like 50 chapters, then they suddenly start introducing a bunch of them. Yet they all had no personality and I felt like they weren’t “real” enough. Their background story wasn’t really explored and their personalities even less.
I like stories where you feel like their “world” could be real. This one didn’t feel like that to me.

Just finished and it was so good. Feels soothing. There's no dogblood or ridiculous face slapping. And it's easy to mtl. Just that the ending why why dear author?? I wish author to write a detailed chapter of their happy days of wolf & qiuqiu. But it's really good full of fluff.

This feels like Beauty and the Beast (demon tribe version). It's a sweet and warm story with leads while enduring difficulties in between.

The FL (Ruan Qiu Qiu) was really good, she's not too OP but she's really hardworking, strong (esp emotionally), sensible and kind-hearted. While the ML (Yuan Jue) was a supposed legendary monster but he was actually a big teddy bear, shy and got insecurity issues. I also liked some supporting characters.

I just felt that the story was slow with two shy and innocent leads (it's cute but sometimes... more>> became so frustrating esp their relationship progress lol)... however, plot twists was good and it kinda made up for the slow development or other shortcomings. <<less

This novel breaks a lot of tropes in a great way. The FL is strong, kind, efficient and sensible. The ML, while very tsudere, has actual reasons for keeping her and others at a distance, which are revealed through the story. Some have complained about him not speaking to her except for brief moments, but they're ignoring the fact that by ch 168 (each raw chapter is broken into a number of parts. In the raws, this is part way through chapter 56), they've known each other for less than... more>> two weeks, and his level of depression, self-hatred, the things that are only revealed in recent chapters, past history of being alienated and disliked, and sheer physical disability, make his behavior in that time frame completely understandable. All things considered, he's coming along quite well. And regardless of what he says or doesn't say, he's fallen hard. He's also the opposite of a controlling, sexually aggressive, demanding typical ML.

The translator changed in ch 167, something I regret. The translation is still good, but the page set up is bad on the new site (lack of proper links) and the new team locks most recent content behind a patreon pay wall for a time, so I've read as far as I can, as my financial situation doesn't allow for that. I much preferred Fuyuneko's advertising model of remuneration, as well as the fact that their ads weren't the skeevy kind you sometimes see. <<less

This has honestly felt like the biggest waist of my time. 80 chapters until they actually have a conversation then a flip of the story after chapter 140.
Spoiler

I also don’t understand what kind of male leg the author is trying to create the female lead is trying so hard to survive but the male lead just pretends to be unconscious he’s constantly making the female lead life more miserable

[collapse]
I think fuyuneko could spend their time on something better than this

Mild mild spoilers alert.

(Haven't read the extra chapters yet)

The novel starts out with the transmigrated MC who chooses to marry a disabled on death door wolf shifter (demon) with a particular mean reputation rather than becomes the 'original' female & male lead's collateral. The story then progresses into a cute interaction based romance story of healing, slow (extremely slow) communication and caring. Then we have past reincarnation, rebirth, lovers united through multiple lifetime, cultivation, revenge and many more yada yada boom boom stuff mixed in.

The story really starts... more>> out great and the two protagonist are lovable and their slow awkward dependence, care that later evolves to love is really fun to read. My issue is later when scope of things become much larger scale and then the utilisation of the 'transmigration' is discarded for a rebirth theory. The pacing started out slow - snail slow then into a particularly rushed through ending that has much to be explained. The main villian is negligible even with so much potentially useful but didn't utilise backstory added, and his subordinates who sparks interest are killed off with a chapter or so of their introduction if not the same chapter, leaving the readers with a oh yikes convient cannon fodder alert sigh.

I would definitely not discourage potential readers from picking this up but don't expect much because the plot does get murky and a little convient as it process to the climax. The female lead though so capable and still maintained as strong, kinda fall to a side character towards the ending with the male lead shining into a powerful being but with so much unexplained on how he reached that point. The switch from this is a novel to No! This is my actual world is not very well done, with no thorough explanation on why the last life then has such progression of events. The novel is open ended with happy connotation but leaves you a little lost with limited material for follow up thoughts. <<less

Pure. Soft. Lovely.

For me, those three words best describes the story.

The story starts with the girl transmigrating to a book she just read and into the character with the same name as her.

... more>> From there she encountered the book FL. (Book FL was a human being who prioritizes herself more. Selfish but understandable. I don't think she went out of character or was broken.)

Pressured by the tribe, she was sent to marry the disabled and dying ex-chief of the Fire Wolf Clan.

Both characters aren't outspoken which lead to some minor misunderstandings. (It's cute. Nothing too heavy.)

Their journey to achieving a peaceful life and nurturing their love is slow and has a bit of bumps. But with such unbreakable trust with each other, they slowly uncover the mysteries and truth of their past and future.

I think it's worth to read. It wasn't love-at-first-sight but there was so much respect for each other. I want characters to have that kind of trait and not just forcing their wants unilaterally.

The lead's interaction was really pure and lovely. Although the ending left me hanging (I feel like it was abrupt), but when I read it again I thought it was sweet. (ML was anxious because he thinks FL might not like his appearance.)

For those who wants face slapping, this novel isn't it. It's not a revenge novel. <<less

I really enjoyed this novel at first, but it got bad quickly... It feels slow at the beginning which is fine, there are survival elements which I appreciated, but then the author seems to rush through things and the ending is... The ending is just insane and seems overly contrived to give an unnecessary tragic backstory to the couples' romance.

I would just read it until the point where the MC and ML move to a new place. That's where it went downhill for me. Characters get introduced left and right... more>> without fleshing them out much. The ML is also a serious vinegar pot, he gets jealous for no reason at all (like when MC was spending time with a kid... it's a frickin' kid!) <<less

Really love the story. There's a lot of fluffy romance and since both MC and ML are shy most of it are awkward XD.

What I don't like is the ending, at first I hope a little face slapping for the ML and FL in novel, but everything is solved in a chapter and really abrupt. The author really focus on fluffy slow romance so everything else are a bit blur. It's still a good story for fluffy and sweet lover.

I loved the main couple's interaction.. It was simple, cute and sweet. The novel was mainly about the two of them.. Usually in this genre, there will be a lot of face slapping involved regarding the supposed-to-be main leads who will be like a sticky bubblegum throughout the novel. Fortunately, there was no such nonsense here. Synopsis can mislead you into thinking that this is some kind of cannon fodder counterattacks novel. But I can assure you that it is not. Overall, I really enjoyed reading it.

Ahhhhh that was such a touching love storrryyyy! They're both very adorable when they easily get shy with each other. When Yuan Jue really turned into a big bad wolf (leeewd), his clingy and possessive actions reminded me so much of my boyfriend lol. I was so haaappy seeing them have a happy ending after all those tragedies in their past life.

Though I am wondering what happened to the b*tch and the slagman afterwards. Anyway, I enjoyed the very sweet after stories very much!

This is a sweet story.

MC and ML have a slow romance and their interactions were cute and enjoyable. They avoid the drama found in other novels and never turn against each other. The magic system in the book was interesting and aided in some interesting arcs.

Fans have translated a good portion of the story and it looks like another site may have picked it up. I found the rest on a ML translation site and read the rest there. It was a rough translation in parts, but good enough I... more>> got ghe important parts of the story. I'll definitely come back and read thus again once it is fully translated. <<less

I was expecting it to be something like “Stone Age Husband Raising Journal” which is a mix of romance, slice of life, and survival. And it is kind of similar in that sense, but it’s also not quite the same? Anyway, about the premise: This novel starts off with an MC that had transmigrated from an Apocalyptic world with mutated water abilities (that promote healing and cultivation). This ends up being the perfect golden finger for her situation— which is to survive through the winter with her new husband, the... more>> ML (who is the abandoned chief of the wolf Beastmen tribe), who has been disabled after fighting against a beast tide.

Its a very slow-paced thorough and highly character-driven. So not much happen externally, but the characters are always dealing with external conflicts (the FL is an optimistic person who just wants to live a peaceful life but is fraught with constant worries while the ML is someone with deep psychological shadows extreme ancient t and insecurities). I see a lot of reviewers who don’t appreciate the ups and downs of these two’s developing relationship—because of constant misunderstandings caused by lack of communication—but as long as you’re forewarned about it, it isn’t so bad!

I ended ups topping in the end because the TL is unfinished and the MTL is only 65-70% readable. But I’ll come back to reread it another day! Current rating is... Hm *thinking face*... directly 4/5 stars! <<less
