Told through two perspectives, this is a tale about a world about to end and a dazzling time of youth.

Kusaoka Haruma, a student from a low-end high school, and the angelic underclassman Chigusa Yu. Two people who should not be in the same year level end up meeting as a result of a fateful incident. Abnormal weather, abnormal phenomena, abnormal actions. An ordinary life that falls off the rails little by little, and a bizarre urban legend.

According to “The Random Crossroad”—at midnight, if you come to the end of the T-juncture and choose the wrong path, you can never come back.

As they chase after a girl whose whereabouts are unknown as a result of these events, could what they find exceed Haruma and Yu’s wildest expectations…?!

Haha, so many times I wished he would smack her. She by definition is at the pinnacle of being a b*tch, (the heroine that is.)

So many times I wished she would just kiss him and make him shut up, (the male MC that is.)

The protagonist is the scum of the world, (male MC) And the antagonist is the bit*h of the world, (female MC or the heroine) and vice-versa. It's a surprisingly fun read, there is no BS involved, and no dense Japanese MC's.... more>> Definitely worth an hour or two of your time. Just straight up down to earth romance between two people that have horrible personalities and a bad/very realistic view on the world.

Also, that ending tho, thank you for that Mr. Author; you may have just saved my views on Japanese LN romance. <<less

Protagonist and the female lead are the best as the girl can make everyone fool and the boy can understand everyone character, the romantic aspect and comedy encounters in the story are excellent but the downside is the mystery end when they find the culprit and I think this is just bullsh*t but before that story is good.

This story brings makes us understand that people are not what they seem to be as a nice girl can be a bit*h and complete delinquent can be a nice person so it... more>> basically tells us to not judge a book by its cover.

It has quite the drama in it so all drama lovers will love it but it is not the writers best work. <<less

Well, what an amazing and irritating story. Yuu b*tchyness is one of the kind. It makes you so irritating but it also makes so much sense. She is a beautiful half psychopath and a full grown arrogant b*tch. Haruma on the other hand is not as bad, but still suck. He has a clear intention and motive so to say and he also have the intellect to complete it. But his personality and way of thinking really is messed up, kinda like Hachiman cause same author. A well match couple... more>> from hell that has the best and the worst of both world. The way the story progresses and all other details is just perfect, as expected from 2 of the best LN author out there. Although the development is perfect, the end really confuses me, but with a little bit of thinking you can figure a lot out. <<less

Based on other reviews, I thought the main characters would be selfish a**holes. Which would've actually been interesting to read for me. However, it's more like the girl is simply a psychopath and the guy is just a pathetic dog. I still don't understand what the point of this story is.

The story was quite good until the middle of the story. The rest of it looks too rushed and forced. The ending itself isn't that bad for the characters. But, the conclusion of the problem is disappointing, particularly the mystery part. The romance is quite good for most of the part. The bit*h and scum really feels real and fun to read, despite the inconsistencies of the character. The writing isn't bad, as expected from the author who wrote Oregairu. Overall, the novel is worth reading for fun and to... more>> understand human nature if you're interested. <<less

A nice slice of lifeish story. The heroine is so contradictory till the point where it's unrealistic, her personality and thoughts do not match up with her actions at all. They also sexualize the heroine too much. The protagonist is okay but a little bland

Quite liked this one. During the first few chapters I thought our MC was a pushover, but not only can he stand up for himself, he also shows remarkable sense and common sense. This means this particular Light Novel doesn't treat its reader with condescension.

You should read it for the dialogue and characters, not the story. I quite liked it just for that.
