I was really under the impression that the MC would steadily progress thru the 72 thrones when the plot just punched me in the face with that matrix stuff.. I didn't disliked it BUT I totally got annoyed that the author cliff-hangered us when the MC was about to meet Melody.
it starts similar to Solo Leveling, but it goes totally different after a few dozen chapters. The MC is a shitty person, he does what he wants, when he wants. he will kill/beat people just because they are annoying... he's not the regular "power of friendship and goodness Japanese MC" type.
but he has good reasons for it, he's used to it, used to being a shitty overlord that rules over everything with force... anyway, you should read it, it's good. it's the first novel i've read from start to end without taking months/years break in the middle. only problem I found with the novel is the translator, it seems that he doesn't know how to use negative/positive, so many times he will write things like "he did that" will he means "he DIDNT do that".
other than that, you should totally read it. 9/10
MC is Op he is arrogant and bit narcissistic
It's too simple like he got problem then beat it till there is none
There is no such thing as romance. Nothing!
And the end is toooooo abrupt like he's got power but all things are VR but MC is so OP that he turns all to reality author could have explained it to detail but it's all crammed in last 10-15 chapters
Overall it's OK
