Qiao Chen was mysteriously transmigrated to the interstellar era. As an adult from his original world, he was forced to grow up all over again in this new one. Now, out of nowhere, he was requested (forced to take on) with the inexplicable task of jumping from world to world to save the high general’s soul.

Throughout his journey, Qiao Chen finds that these worlds and bodies he’s jumping in and out of are his previous reincarnations. Whether or not these all culminate into coincidences or a predetermined destiny, there’s things that must be done while completing the main task:

-Avenge his past life

-Take revenge

-Fulfill past regrets

-Realize those lost dreams

-Make up for past failures

Since God has given him these opportunities to rewrite his fate, why wouldn’t he be pleased to start-over?

Average QT story. The arcs are short so it's usually rushed. Nevertheless I enjoyed reading it the same way you would enjoy watching soap operas.

Reading it was tolerable until the MC f*cking introduced guns in the ancient era and rationalized it as not harmful using the s*upid logic of "it's people who kill, not the guns". S*upid idiot. And the villain in this arc is a transmigrator. Lyk gurl, that villain is annoying but ur a fcking insane to introduce guns in this kind of era. And the translator even... more>> had the guts to say not to start a guns morality discussion there when MC's whole thing is to be this righteous avenger of his former reincarnation. But when he introduces a fcking weapon of destruction, suddenly we can't discuss about its im/morality ???? MC is epitome of why science students need to learn about humanities, social science, ethics, philosophy etc. Moreover, world building is quite shallow. There are some plot holes and a very, very thick plot armor. Like where the f*ck is the MC getting all these abilities when he was basically just a normal doctor pre-transmigration. I know I huge part is because of the omnipotent system, but if that was the case, what's the use of the MC? Like any regular joe could've just done the mission. Anyway, it was entertaining but don't look for something deep and ignore the irrational parts. If you have other transmigration stories lined up, read those first. <<less

Okay, I usually avoid writing reviews when I have just started, but I want to just clarify some things other reviewers mentioned and then update this review as I go along.

so this is QT story. One of the most prominent things about a QT love story between the main characters is that they always fall in love pretty fast. There is usually a back story to this such as the ML usually already knows the MC in real life and their soul recognizes MC's soul. This is always the case... more>> so the fact they fall in love fast in the very first arc does not really bother me.

but what stood out to me that if u actually finished the first arc, it was explained how and why the ML fell in love too fast with the MC.
Spoiler

So basically the military installed a program where the ML would feel intimate and want to be close to the MC. (This broke MC's heart because he truly thought they fell in love with each other)

[collapse]

and so he asked them to deactivate this (and im now on the second arc to see if this will have an effect) most probs not lmao

and the ending, I truly love the ending. It was everything I was hoping for <<less

I just love a good ol' fluffy QT, sweet and pampering ML and a power shou.

There were lots of trigger warnings though, like

Novel itself is not bad🤔 But I think it is poorly written, especially main characters... tbh I didn't feel any pity for MCs in the worlds🥲

I liked it, BUT THE SECOND ARC... was especially disappointing. Why?👇🏻

Spoiler

I hated how the f-ing author whitewashed Fionn, "mother" of MC.

He left the 2yo CHILD. And then when he became adult he came with tears like "I WAS THE VICTIM, I AM SORRRYYY, ACCEPT ME, PITY ME." Pffffffffffft. I was like: Go to hell, beatch, mother of the year🔪

Overall, Considering the good face slapping and some explanations of the situations, I think it's 3.8/5

But the logic of the author is -10000/5, yeah <<less

I think it really depends on the tastes of the reader call me rude but I think most of the people writing reviews are unreasonable I don't know how to word it more respectfully but yeah so I think

Like if you don't like the novel then don't read it, but most of y'all are like "I first liked it but I didn't like it from the middle or ending part it's that the story is so similar to FOD and I don't think you should waste your time on it... more>> other QT novels are much better"

Like ig it's ur opinion but I feel like you are being quite rude and insulating the author tho not directly as you are comparing it to other works....

And don't even start on how you say you don't like it but kept reading for the sake of it getting better

If you don't like it drop it don't go on to compare novels to other novels it's straight up disrespecting authors from both side

Tho writing a review with the intention of making the author realise that some things that they wrote might be offending to people and is wrong is quite alright

And I also do think it's not that great of a novel as regarding my tastes but it's also good it keeps me invested

Tho it's just my opinion and I won't force people to follow it I do think everyone should follow this rule if they think it's right ofc

DO NOT COMPARE PEOPLE'S WORKS WITH OTHER'S

Unless either one of them is copying

And now let's talk about the novel it self

Spoilers ahead

i think the novels pretty good tbh it's quite balanced in my opinion and the arcs are devided well it's not too long neither too short tho sometimes you may feel a bit weird cuz in some arcs their romance moves fast

But you faht complain as it is to be predicted u know like in some QT novels the ML has this feeling of deja vu in some lives and feels feelings bloom for the MC tho they have only met once, yeah so some arcs are like that so I can't really complain

And also fyi some arcs contain r@pe, BD*M tho it's handlelable for me as I've read too many Chinese BL novels and am half Chinese too so most Chinese redears don't have a problem with it most people who criticize the author for making the ML force himself into MC, I think most people who have a problem and scold the author for it are mostly non-asian as I've encountered, I don't mind it and usually ignore it

But that doesn't mean I'm okay with these things I only tolerate it in novels or anything fictional as long as it doesn't cross the line. But I do not approve of such things like forcing people to do it or r@pe, BD*M (as long as both party are into it, but what couples do in bed is not my business unless one is forcing themself onto the other), underage s3x, age gap (my parents have 8 years age gap so I don't mind age gap as long as the younger person in the relationship is above 21 y/o and their age gap with the older one is at most 15), p3doph8lia, and other wrong and unacceptable things

  1. And also ML has Daddy kink and also a bu*t fetish too lmfao tho it's not in a creepy way speaking myself I got a good laugh out of it

I don’t see why all the low ratings. It was actually quite enjoyable. Im really a picky reader and would drop books left and right but this one, even though it has quite a few flaws, was an easy read and good face slappings. Just move to second arc if you’re feeling unsure while reading at first. The translator did a good job too; I even gave her kofi.

I've finished the entire thing! It's actually nowhere near as bad as I had expected from reading the tags and some of the reviews.

Having read so many BL novels and manga, I've grown quite numb to authors' ideas of what's important to have in a relationship.

I recommend to just not expect anything when you start reading a novel like this that has so many mixed reviews.

Give it some time, but if you feel like it's not your cup of tea, you can just stop reading. There is no one who... more>> will force you to continue. We all have different tastes and that makes it hard for a novel like this to get a high review. The 3.9 stars it has now is pretty accurate in my opinion.

It's not super good, but by far not the worst thing I've read either. Like the translator also mentions, the author doesn't have in depth knowledge on everything they've written.

All in all, I'd say give it a chance, since someone put so much time into translating and editing it, but if you find you don't like it, just stop reading it. <<less

To be honest, this was more of a 4 star novel to me, but rounded up considering the other low ratings.

There aren't any deep themes, both characters breeze through their revenge, and there's some s*xual situations that are questionable now but are honestly not as bad as what's in the typical mainstream harlequin romance. My main objection to those s*x scenes was more that they weren't very sexy, but s*x scenes in these types of novels rarely are. There are a lot of worlds with 3 genders, but at least... more>> in most of them, there's not the annoying trope that one gender is only good for breeding and completely ruled by their pheromones. The author is also really bad at jokes... I remember the couple she/he put in for the main character mainly by how cringe-worthy they were. Maybe they're better in Chinese, but I found myself glad when she usually stuck to telling us how witty the main character was rather than trying to demonstrate with a "joke".

That said, this was still an entertaining book, and is quite satisfying if you just want to read a qt story. None of the worlds are super suspenseful, but they each have their own plot, which I enjoyed watching unravel. The translator is pretty good and tries quite hard to make the story understandable. <<less

Finished this todayyy, binge read for 2/3 days and totally worth it. I like every arcs. Well except for arc 5, there's a note saying that the author wanted to try new things but ended up not likeable at all.

Spoiler

I really don't mind the 2nd time they met in arc 5 where ML try to feel up ML's body and it's kinda violent that it hurts. I really don't mind that as well as the BD*M tho not comfortable with that but thank god it's not the BD*M that's worst. What I don't like is at the ending where the ML forbid or prevent MC from having a career as an amazing soldier. Gaddhhh. So disappointing and so controlling. Well thats all.

[collapse]

Overall this does not affect the whole novel. The arcs 1-4 and 6-end is really good for me especially the zombie apocalypse arc. Really love zombie apocalypse themes hahahaha. I'll still give it a perfect rate and I want to thank the translater for giving a quality translations, I actually read every t/n he made at the beginning and end of each chapters and I can see how much efforts the translator put through. <<less

This novel was better than expected. The reviews had me a bit worried but I’m glad I gave it a chance.

The main character, Qiao Chen, is smart, knows what he wants and how to get it. The only thing that stands in his way is the main lead, General Aunan Auray or whatever name he uses in different worlds. The ML is possessive, doesn’t really listen to what Qiao Chen says at times, does what he wants and is a stereotypical ML. But somehow it works for them and doesn’t... more>> give off bad vibes.

There were aspects of this that were not up to par:
Spoiler
  1. The novel is very fast paced. The plot just kept zooming and there was no slow burn at all
  2. In almost every world he was capable of having children but the author never once showed him pregnant
  3. The dub con from the ML

Overall, this is one of the few transmigration/system novels that I didn’t skip an arc. I actually read every arc and liked it. It’s definitely 4 stars for me. <<less

Excellent translation. Looking forward to more from this translator in the future.

Story itself is below mediocre.

Overall extremely predictable, over-dramatic, QT genre.

Zero characters who are female or ger who are portrayed positively, except for the MC. Classic mysogynist language as well.

Spoiler

Lots of squicky noncon, mind control, clueless dom/sub dynamics, etc.

Nothing actually stands out about it. No details, everything is predictable, and plotholes abound.

I would read this after you've exhausted all the other QT books.

It was a okay world hopping novel. MC needs to hop to diff worlds to save their General's soul. Keep in mind that the researchers made something with the program so that at 1st world ML started head over heels for MC. For 2nd world onwards MC turned it off to make sure ML doesn't fall in love due to some program

It was an adventure on how to find ML& how they fall in love. It's just that in Arc 5?same with other reviews even the translator said that it's... more>> kinda Cringey. Author dip into bd*m and you can see that she's not good in writing it. Well it went to a good direction after with d remaining worlds. ML did his best to be accomodatjng to MC and even wants to be Mc's father hahaha

There's a time when Qiao Chen (MC) asked:

"How long have we known each other? How can you love me already?" Qiao Chen teased.

"Even though we haven't known each other long, believe it or not, I feel like I've loved you for a long time now." (ML)

"I believe it." Qiao Chen replied. ML to MC:

"Don't be sad. I'm your husband and your family. Trust me. I can fulfill both roles very well."

"If you want to tell me, then I want to know. If you don't want to tell me, then I don't want to know. I'm willing to respect all the secrets you want to protect."

"Will you always love me this much? Even if it's in the next life and the life after that and the life after that? Would you love me like this forever?" (MC)

"If there is a next life, then it doesn't matter how many lives. I swear that I will always love you this much. No- I will love you more than I did in the previous life." (ML) <<less

This started off really weak. The settings and characters weren't really set up well in the beginning. I think the MC was supposed to be apathetic but it didn't really show or I didn't really feel it from him. But the next arcs started getting better and they had better plot progression so that's a plus.

What dissatisfied me most was that there were all these foreshadowings that never really got resolved. Although they had a happy ending it felt like there wasn't enough justification for the need to travel through... more>> worlds.

There is also a lot of questionable content that left my eye twitching.

Overall, it was fun to read the arcs individually, specially from a face-slapping lover like me, but I don't think I'll ever read this again.

Translater Egg did great though! Kudos to them for getting through all the cringe lol <<less

This is a standard Chinese transmigration boys' love series. The first half of the series is better, and then it goes downhill. Skip Arc 5.

The ML and MC have more distinctive personalities earlier on, and so do side characters. However, these flatten dramatically later, and the side-characters hardly get any definition at all. With the exception of Arc 5, they usually have a loving and healthy relationship.

The antagonists basically have the same personality. No matter what, they are envious of the MC, even if they have no reason to be,... more>> are unscrupulous, do underhanded things, and are s*upid and impulsive. The antagonists basically have the same personality each arc without much variation.

The plots have repeated themes and are redundant. The MC and ML are Gary Stus. The MC is usually from a wealth and/or noble family. He is an orphan or his dad is dead and was good when he was alive. If his dad is alive, then he's a cheating scumbag. The MC's mom is nice if she is alive. Any step-families are evil and obsessively out to get the MC for little logical reason with the exception of a half-brother in one of the earlier arcs. The MC was shamed, and he wants to get revenge and power over everyone with his immense pride, status, and success. His personality is similar to the villains, except the villains struck first, and he's better at being a Gary Stu than they are.

Arc 5 should be skipped altogether. If I included Arc 5, my rating would drop to 2/5 stars.

Spoiler

In the 5th arc, the ML is emotionally and sexually abusive to the MC. In other arcs, the MC is often portrayed as play-fighting with the ML and arguing with him just for fun. In this arc, the MC genuinely does not want to have s*x, but the ML forces him to do so anyway. In other arcs, the ML accepts this, often grudgingly, and takes care of the MC instead. In this arc, it doesn't matter how exhausted the MC is from doing physical training and constantly working all day to the point where he can't walk straight; if the MC says they are going to have s*x, then they are going to have s*x. The ML doesn't love him and treats him like a s*x toy instead.

When the MC dedicates his life to training and working as a soldier and even becomes one of the top five most powerful people to exist in their nation, the ML fires him from his position and forces him to become his personal servant at home instead. This was the MC's dream job. He doesn't fight back or transfer units. Instead, he emotional isolates him and restricts his movements.

When the MC refuses to marry the ML during this arc because the ML has become such scum, the ML kidnaps him and takes him away from all of his friends or anyone who could help him.

[collapse]

There are many ways the series could improve. Overall, it's okay if you are bored and have time to waste. <<less

IDK why they keep comparing any bl qt to for. Though they have the same elements, the plot is not the same and it was totally very different.

More so, this series is super quick and not very detailed. Our protagonists love love development work really fast. And there's also the mystery regarding the system and the ml's divided souls. Thought that the author will have explanation for the ml's soul in the end.

Over all, though it was very very fast paced, it's a good novel to. Pass time.

At the time I am writing this review I am currently reading Chapter 37 of the novel. I have enjoyed many novels with the same clichés such as this one. (Quickly wear the Face of the Devil, Who Touched My Tail, Protagonists deluding harems, Villain's face-slapping, etc.) Clichés being, A Cunning and/or strong MC, A possessive and dominant ML, and world-hopping.

This novel as of me writing this is boring and unsatisfying.

Unlike the previous novels I have read, the "revenge" the MC takes upon the others have yet to be inflicted... more>> by himself. The system that he has does most of the work as in arc 1

Spoiler

Arc 1 is about his first time going in his past life. It's basically switched at birth, Protagonist feels threatened by country bumpkin thinking he'll steal the inheritance that's rightfully his and ruins his life as a precaution. Because of the detailed ending of our MC's past life usually like the previous Novels we'd get a good revenge plot. MC uses the system and bullshits saying "the electromagnetic rays will make him prone to having a gambling addiction, if he isn't in the casino he wouldn't gamble." Not even that, the villains aren't smart at all and are repetitive.

[collapse]

In arc 2 it's a contrast in that it is an interstellar world with gers and men. A mecha engineering fest.
Spoiler

MC disables the "Instant love and good will" package towards the Ml, so now the love isn't instantaneous as before. It was quite novel and I enjoyed the prospect. Turns out, it doesn't matter and they still fall in love relatively quickly. Author also tried bullsh*t in creating a character and when getting flack over the character's pitifulness, they tried to make the reader sympathize with the character. As per usual, MC uses his system to go against the villain, where the villain was still not good. Author doesn't use the fact that the villain had transmigrated and only made it so that the villain felt "special" after transmigrating with a system in to an intergalactic world. Very poorly written

[collapse]

Arc 3 is quite boring again. This time it's worse.
Spoiler

MC is basically just better than the villain. We have backstory that I can remember since I'm just reading it Basically MC has a manipulative father whom cheated and made his wife divorce him for his lover and illegitimate child. We're also forced to believe that a 6 year old was able to be "blackened" by his mother into believing the MC was evil. This 6 year old, pushes another 6 year old into some hole to ruin their spiritual energy and that kid was able to stop MC from climbing up. Then mother comes back hours later hearing it and is unable to piece together the fact that her kid was with his father during the whole debacle. Basically, this whole arc can't be said as MC taking revenge because it's basically ML and his brother the emperor who actually put the villain into dire straits.

[collapse]

Now I'll continue editing this because It's only arc 3. But I have qualms with the author. R*pey subject matter can be excused when it's like other light novels with better writing. But the fact that other reviewers have the audacity to try and compare the MC's relationship with the ML is mind-boggling. Arc 3 basically has the MC ask the Ml

("Will you stop if I tell you to?" ML replies "Not Likely") This whole scenario is quite disgusting in terms of relationships. Not the only offense that I can remember. ML continues to f*ck the MC on the day MC can move back to his family's ancestral house after having it returned since
Spoiler

Previous emperor killed MC's grandparents and uncles

[collapse]
ML doesn't have the decency to at least let the MC try to remember by himself and digest the emotions.

End of review as of Chapter 37 <<less
