Even if we ignore the absolutely appalling garbage that passes off as translation, not even 30 chapters in and this thing is already full of plot holes, random pointless exposition and full on repetition of stuff you saw on the previous chapter.

And if that wasn't enough for a -1/5, the ret*rded author can't even remember the stats or skill effects for 27 freaking chapters.

I know that every single one of these wastes of time (also known as chinese novels) fall on their face without fail, but they usually do somewhat... more>> try for at least 50 chapters. <<less

Have you read the legendary mechanic, and liked that novel?

If yes, then you will like this novel, since it is the shitter, more ret*rded, completely original-content lacking version of the legendary mechanic.

The novel itself is great, don't get me wrong. However, it is simply TOO similar to the legendary mechanic, that it starts to feel like the author just straight up copy and pasted the legendary mechanic and spruced up some details.

I dont like the MC, the plot and how things are narated either, how things are explained doesn't make sense (plot holes)

Exemple: when his father got away his subbordonates took over his stuff and left ?Obviously conveniant just so that the MC start over from nothing (exept an uncondionaly loyal army) only 12 chapters but I'm already out of patience there is lot of other things like that. Not talking about the fact that he remembers the history of very side line characters that died at the beginning. Hesitating... more>> on what class to chose while he was a legendary warrior last time, were those 10 years he spent as one so useless that he has developped no skills ? Also he has an army of elf : "all races have their disadventages, for elf it is that they are all somewhat courageous battle maniacs" i'd like to say nonsense and HOW CONVENIANT for someone that has an army of elf under him.

MC needs a source of income and casualy attacks an orc village, he finds an unxploited big iron mine just next to it HOW CONVENIANT, in this mine there is a bear that is powerful but pregnant so easy to kill HOW CONVENIANT after she died she left 3 bear cubs with one of them having superior potentiel HOW CONVENIANT. You get the idea

On top of it all

'righteous mc' :showed the cubs to the mother before killing her and told her he was gonna raise them

Mother bear be like:'thanks for taking my cubs as captives am very grateful and can be killed peacefully now ' I found it very hipocritical and was wondering if the author was serious when he wrote this (or is this a parody?)

+ those are beast even if he raises them himself from childhood to adulthood they would at most have good feeling for him and not uncontionaly fight to the death on the battlefield. Narrator talks about rellying on them to advance while the guy has 500 man army, and if the MC cant even outgrow those cubs isnt he just useless.

After all that there is still something that make me wonder even more : the climat is warm all year around, the guy that just slaughtered a whole village of intelligent being for no reason would be "unforgivable" if the bear cubs caught a cold so he gave them his jacket /for real/, at this point it's both funny and concerning as wether the author is ret*rded or are the translators bullshitting.

Copy of legendary mechanic but with a fantasy setting and worse.

It's mostly a little bit better than mediocre, but something that bothers me is that it seems like the author doesn't think things through very much, like with most Chinese novels, it feels as if he was writing thinking of quantity instead of quality.

What broke the novel for me is how MC only gets a handful of skills while the other characters just seem to have whatever skills they need at the time and how villains seem to run away... more>> even when it should be impossible.

It was previously established that the method for communing with the dark world and the devil needed certain mediums like a whatever altar and a portal, but the biggest enemy of the arc gets to run away to the dark world without any preparation whatsoever, like a deus ex machina but for the villain. And don't get me started on the other times the villains ran away when they were clearly surrounded.

Also, the author sometimes tries to write something deep, but it only comes out as kinda cringe and a waste of time. <<less

Translation is garbage. LOL.

The story will be great if the author didn't blatantly copied Legendary Mechanic. Having same idea is fine. Little bit same is fine. But this is obvious copy paste. If this is an upgraded version of Legendary Mechanic then fine, whatever. But this is obviously Downgraded version of Legendary Mechanic.
the story is full of loopholes. It get even worse with a garbage translation. If I didnt read Legendary Mechanic before I cant even tell what the f is happening. And if you already read Legendary Mechanic, well you can already guess majority of the story. Which is Suck!.

Can I just say what is with these archetype every single virtual reality or fantasy novel I find is all male protagonist the fantasy ones I find with female protagonist are all romance and I was previously a divine doctor or assassin then there independent until ML comes along and suddenly he's so possessive and the female protagonists is made of glass can't do a single thing on her own can I just have a novel where there is an independent female protagonist she does not have to rely on... more>> a man at all <<less

This is an interesting one. I really liked/loved "The legendary Mechanic" and this is very similar. That is also where my 3* come from. Unfortunately, the story is full of plot holes and glossing over stuff. I dropped this because this already happens in the first few chapters, which means that the rest of the story will most likely just go out of the window by random bullsh*t explanations.

He got 500 pure-blood elves to guard him because of their loyalty to his mother. They basically despise him because of his unclean bloodline. In the end he manages to appease them by paying a minor reward of 1 silver coin?! They worked for him without pay for multiple (?) years. There is no way in hell that he resolves the grudges so easily. Also there is the elven beauty that wakes him at the beginning. He appeases her by giving her a bear cub. "You hate me? Here, play with my pet." "Oh, thank you! I now like you very much!"

They defeat the bear. The elven hunters that tried to surround it with a net get flung away, hit some trees and appear bleeding as if they had internal injuries. But the hunt goes "without injuries".

Well I don't hate repetitive action or scenes to make the story longer but what I hate from this novel is that the MC is like a gay! He loves muscle so much that he will drool or pinch it. He will not say that he love it but his action tells it. I hate the f*ck that a man love muscle than a girl that have big meat attached to her front or back.

I know many of my friends that date gay and gay that just like guys but... more>> this is on another level of gayness. Like a girl that will drool when a well fitted man with 8 pack of abs appeared in front of her. But I still like the story I just ignore MC's muscle fantasy that destroyed may weak willed mind when imagination what I'm reading. Prepare yourself if you're gonna read this novel and just enjoy your life full of imaginations. Peace out <<less

Honestly I'm not sure if I should be surprised when one of these Chinese novels uses blatant racism anymore but this time they even outright use a racial slur.

This series has an interesting premise but the author can't even give a good explanation of the leveling system and it feels like they just start spouting things like "Epic" and "Legendary" to hype up how op the MC is

It's like word vomit with numbers hoping no one is going to take the time to look at the details. I could get... more>> over the fact that the premise is a copy of others because it's common for popular things to be copied, but everything about this is so poorly done that I was struggling to force myself to read it.

Then you add on top of it blatant racism? Not worth my time. <<less

The story doesn't have flow that is needed for you to be immersed into it. As you start it feels as if you have just taken up a guide of a newly released game explaining it's features, what you can expect and what the final spectacular plot would be. If you have even a tiny bit of common sense, then I would guarantee that you will start pulling out your hair by chapter 5. I would suggest turning off your brain and reading in autopilot mode.
