tr*sh bottom loses his heart completely and leaves scum top.

Hold on — Where’s the agreed abuse for the scum top? What happened to the promised transformation of scum top into a loyal dog? This isn’t how the script is supposed to be!

Satirical BL, can be quite humorous but it felt flat to me and was also somewhat distasteful.

Quite an interesting premise: MC (gong) forced to transmigrate into several cliche scum gong innocent tortured Shou scenarios.

MC is continuously running sarcastic dialogue around how s*upid the premise is, how illogical the protagonist’s love interests are and makes fun of a cliches including the bitter forever alone 2nd male lead, scum redemption arcs, ex-lover cannon fodder etc.

But I found MC’s internal dialogue quite scathing and mean natured. It really dampened my enjoyment.

  • MC (and the whole novel in general) is especially mean towards the victimised shou dynamic - ft. lots of victim blaming...
  • As it’s satire, understandably there’s no deep plot or heartfelt romance which I would’ve wanted. Although the way MC and ML got together was quite nice though

Funny novel! Enjoyed it, don’t take the concept too seriously because this is a parody novel. But the bickering dynamics between MC & ML is sooooo goood. I love both of their antics and monologues. Very likeable characters!!!

Funny read. Although the novel plot is a parody, the romance fits in perfectly. The interaction between the two main characters is refreshing and cute. I recommend this novel if you're looking for a fun and short read. 👍

MC, Xiao Han, transmigrated into a novel as a scum gong. ML, Wen Muyan, is the cannon fodder gong. They are forced to follow the script since deviating from it will lead to death.

Each time they die, they transmigrate into a new script with the protagonist shou and other side characters. However, each time everyone's role is generally the same.

MC transmigrated into the first script. ML transmigrated into the second script. They bond over their common misery and their relationship develops in the third script. In the fourth script, we discover the scriptwriter has taken over the role of the shou. He is the one who has been forcing the MC and ML to transmigrate into the worlds he creates. In the end, the scriptwriter is defeated, MC marries ML and live together happily. 💕

I love scum gong abuse novels, but what happens when you read a story from the scum gong's perspective? If you're me then you choke on your own saliva while laughing. Points are made in this one. Not everything is as it appears to be. It's now one of my favorite short stories.

I've actually read novels with plots similar to those instances so it's quite funny to see them being ridiculously shown.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA OH. EM. GEE!!! I am at chapter 9 and this novel has me laughing till I cried. Granted I am drinking wine while reading so my feelings might be amplified but I am enjoying it immensely. Comedy gold. Bravo author and thank you for EXCELLENT translations. If you are in a bad mood, read this and let the laughs wash away the "dark". Good s***e!

Very amusing! Not much romance and their being together can be described as one without basis.

Well, actually maybe there is a basis. Met in a diff environment with only the two of them knowing what is happening, so good! A trope I really like!

Also, got confused on who are the main leads lol. First time reading a danmei with the gong's POV! Not used to it that much but definitely inchresting!

This is such a hilarious read, I keep coming back again and again! The world hopping is relatively short, and when you find out the reasons behind what happened, you'll probably bust a gut laughing! LOL

LOL. This is a must read for those seeking some light-read works. The novel definitely has its weak points but the parody and comedy overshadow those weak points and render it a fun-to-read work. Reading a parody of cliche romance tropes was a wonderful experience.

In the beginning it's kinda boring / typical, but from the end of the second arc it gets super funny lmao

Although I do still feel bad for the tr*sh bottom characters lol

I've dropped it at around ch 7. Though it wants to appear as humorous I didn't like its sense of humor and I really didn't like the beginning of the second transmigration and couldn't swallow it after that... more>>

the MC gong is somehow forced to sleep with the shou who is supposed to be the protagonist but I felt he was a cannon fodder at this moment as the MC was angry and cold during doing it. I saw in the reviews that the shou is the writer and he is the bad guy who directed the whole thing but at that moment he was just a victim with no memory of the truth and the MC was reverse r*ped sort of or r*ped by the script. In all cases I don't have the stomach to continue and I don't find it funny!

funny at some parts but not rlly my vibe I regret reading this HSGHA it's p long for a crack read. It's best to read this wo expecting anything.

didnt rlly feel anything for scum top MC 😭 for me miserable 2nd lead saved this story.

This was really good for such a short story. I almost dropped it after chapter 2, it took it a few chapters for the satire to come, but once it did, it was gold. I was reading this on my break at work, and actually laughed out loud and was smiling like an idiot.

My only real complaint, is the ending felt rushed. The 1 chapter extra and the authors note at the end helped though.

The MC and ML are fine to me, I mean I didn't absolutely love either one,... more>> and MC's personality is the type I'm not fond of in serious novels, but I didn't think the MC was as bad as some other reviewers made him out to be.

MC was forced into a screwed up situation and couldn't understand the thought process of the scum gong or shou and his inner monologues reflected such.

the author is actually the scum Shou who is trying to live out his fantasy and revenge on MC. MC didn't do anything wrong, the cheap Shou just has chuni syndrome even though he is in Uni

I did wish the MC was a little more loving to the ML, but his character set up was supposed to be arrogant and ridiculous. It's such a short read, I don't think many will regret reading, especially if humor is your thing. <<less

That was too dang funny...

Thinking on how those overbearing tops that are described as intelligent but act dumb for those bottoms would feel if they didn't turn off their IQ is the reason I'm into BL where the MC is the top. This is a strike on how I think they must feel inside.

I also like how MC and ML are willing and don't pretend they don't want it... and how their relationship ain't overly romantic and mushy but they are funny and trust each other.

For something so short and... more>> made to be satirical it is very well made. I like it a lot. <<less

This was so good! I never thought I would see the world hopping trope in a novel with 19 chapters, it was amazing. I loved Xiao Han (mc) and Wen Muyan (ml) they were funny and cute. I kind of wish that Wen Muyan could have topped Xiao Han because I fell like He's the top and Xiao Han is the bottom but oh well.

The beginning few chapters were pretty boring. I wasn't sure what was going on or where the plot was going. Butttt it picks up real quick.

The story isn't too memorable or too bad.
