My Son Might Be A Villain

Su Ran, a music prodigy, woke up transmigrated into a book.

At that point in time, the main story arc in the book had already been completed. As a villainess female supporting character, not only did she need to take over the original owner’s pitiful life in poverty, she also gained an instant son right at his rebellious period.

Ten or so more years from then, the son would turn into a twisted, evil villain. He would appear in one of the extra chapters to pick on the male and female lead’s children.

***

Su Ran: Son, you shouldn’t be too outstanding.
Su Han: Why not?
Su Ran: ’cause you will be killed.

Su Ran: Son, would you like to learn music from me and become a zen, little fairy boy who only needs to drink dew.
Su Han: No, I want to go into business so I can support you.

Okay so Idk how to exactly explain but uts sweet and fluffy but that the same time its not. MC is lovable and ML is your typical op character. What felt bad was MC son who was neglected for 12 years and suffered soo much but forgave MC so easily and then also he constantly fights with ML for MC's attention. That child I felt bad about. He deserved much more better. Even though ML was a good lover and father I felt bad for Su Han 🥺🥺

At first I decided I'm not rating it because of some complications I faced during the progress of the novel but eventually I did after reading it thoroughly again. Which is mainly related to the MC herself, also the story plot is your usual cliche but has a nice touch to read. However, the MC's character irritated me after a while, no communication, quick to assume things, taking actions based on instinct, too much meaningless overthinking, and ofc all the above still neglecting her son after getting chased by YOUR... more>> TYPICAL cold master. <<less

This a good novel. This slightly refreshing and different from other "transmigrated mother" novels I read before bc the kid (Su Han) was already in his pre-teens and in rebellious stage.

I like the FL (Su Ran) and her ways to clean the mess that the original owner left. She's not an overly-OP but her music talent became her cheat. I also like the ML and the kid. The family relationship with each other is good despite father and son being tsunderes LMAO

The past Su Han and original Su Ran were... more>> really pitiful. Glad that extra chapters gave them chances.

Fluffy but I expect more drama with the original leads especially with OG FL's manipulative mind. Plus, it felt lacking that the author didn't show the ending of Song family (Original Leads) after ML cleaned them up. They contributed alot to the demise of Su Ran and Su Han... but suddenly disappear. <<less

My favorite part of this entire novel was the extras.

Spoiler

I find it heartwarming that we see how their life has become. I really liked the fact that in a parallel universe, the old Su Ran got a second chance as she understood how self destructive she had became. And that at the last moment of her life, she realized just how unfairly she treated Su Han who did not have a choice to be born. Also, I liked how the Orig!Su Han got to experience the best timeline where he had a loving family and that when he came back to the original timeline, he turned his life around with his dad.

[collapse]

I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I find Su Han’s immediate affection for Su Ran a bit unrealistic. It’s an enjoyable slice of life. Not a lot of tension, best to read when you’re going through hard times. <<less

Very fun, light hearted and interesting novel, the main characters are interesting, although the son can be a little irritating at times with his tsundere personality, but nothing big.

Definitely recommend this to everyone looking for a break.

Light read.

Not too dramatic and centers around the relationships of our MC as she only wanted to live her life and raise her son.

The last chapter/the last extra is touching. Everyone have a satisfying end even for the original Su Ran and Su Han.

I mtl-ed it.

The story is good, in the middle will get a little bit boring. But at the end where we can read about the past su han in the past is really sad and when he experience the nice family it's so great!! ! Love it

A pretty wholesome read. I'm not a patient person which makes it challenging for me to find a satisfying read that neither trigger the emotions too much nor feel dry and boring. I very rarely finish books in 1 sitting. When I do so it's either because its a light book which gives a fulfilled life feeling or has enough wits, humour and romance to keep me entertained. This book belongs to the former category. Enough have been said about the book so my review is plainly for self satisfaction... more>> as my way of appreciation to the author's and translators. Give the book a go when you need a light hearted read. <<less

I really should say a lot more about the story and the development and the characters but I can't seem to get over Su Han's (from the novel) happy ending. He deserves it and all the more.

The endiingggg waaaaaah about Su Han and His mother really makes me cryy. Especially when Su Han experience having a full family imagining the confuse yet warm expression of his just makes my heart ache. I think the Su Han at that time really yearn for a familial love and its makes my heart ache tho knowing that he and his father still reunite is a very deserving ending for him. Tho I really wish the author put an additional chapter about Lu Shao, its just a wishful thinking

I don't blame the original MC (before transmigration) for being like that though. It's actually quite a tragedy

Spoiler

Someone schemed against her and she got pregnant at around 16, got kicked out of the Su Family house without any help, they don't even let her finish high school : ( ( ( ( ( ((

[collapse]

It's actually a very steady and heart warming story with a splash of rich family drama, but the trust between the MC, ML and son are very heartwarming ?

Spoiler

Su Han's previous treatment by Su Ran was very horrible and honestly a 12 yo going through that is really sad but it the gloom doesn't last long so yay

[collapse]

It can be said that Su Han accepted her pretty quickly despite all but
Spoiler

it's only because Su Han probably desperately wanted some love and warmth from his mom so when he saw the changes in her despite his head saying no he couldn't overcome his want and need for a parents love

[collapse]

Interactions b/w the ML and MC and their son is adorbs like uwu. It's petty but at the same time cute lol.

Spoiler

Have to say that what happened to both Su Ran and Su Han in their previous life was a nightmare but the at the end they both got a little warmth. I was wondering about the "multiple reincarnated individuals" tag so that got resolved. I cried a little with previous Su Han's last experience and that the father and son in that life would probably get along just fine.

This is such a cute novel that I MTLed it (pretty easy to understand) and would recommend to read for the fluff. <<less

I think this is underrated! To me this novel is heartwarming and makes you want to have a su han hahaha. I am not good at expressing my feelings (I may be just too lazy) but give this novel a try ! Especially because mtl is easy to understand (this is like the 3rd novel I managed to finish reading using mtl but I have tried reading like 100 hahaha never understanding a third of what it’s been “translated”)

I also want to clarify something, having a dad is extremely... more>> important (cannot believe there is a comment saying that the father is not needed! Who in this world can truly say that?) in this novel the figure of a father is VERY important so please don’t believe when other say it is not! <<less

This isn't really a review more like a response to others' review.

I don't really think that the ending is abrupt but I do agree that it left many questions.

In the last few chapters before the extras, the tension was receding already and it's only a matter of time before the story ends. However the extras were so colorful that us readers wanted to know more. And yes, it left many questions. I think it's good enough that the author let us glimpse of what happened to the original characters.

The only twist is that Su Han, that kid, is 12 yrs old at the beginning of the story. It makes it a bit more colorful than other childcare tag work.

Overall, it was pretty fluffy and nice— a bit predictable but still, the interactions were super sweet. I can't help but yelp with joy whenever I encounter those pink bubbly sections <<less
