This is one of those stories where the author tries to make a character look cool and witty, while the readers are in awe of how unrealistic and idiotic he is. Leaves readers asking, if the MC were 1 IQ point smarter might he have been able to transform human existence, enabling all mankind to evolve into virtually immortal supermen (or, given that the author is a bit racist, Chinese people) ; also, why, instead does the MC only seem to use the magic to slam-dunk a basketball and optimize... more>> his video-game performance. (At least for the few first weeks he owns the McGuffin.)

MC is a moron. Gets supernatural ring that allows him to enter/play game dispite not having gaming equipment. On day one, discovers that he can remove items that were stored from the game into reality, including items that can instantly heal him (health potions) and improve his attributes in real life... then, nothing, for weeks...

The s*upidity was so jarring that, at one point in the story where he found magical potions that could increase all of his attributes, he started gulping them down with his character, rather than bring them out and use them in real life.... so incredibly s*upid and jarring that I had to read reviews to find out if this idiocy continues.

... he plays the game and is OP as heck in the game (does it even matter, when he could be a real-life superman) but he doesn't bring out any equipment or do anything else to make his real self stronger. Oh, and the one item he did bring out, a health potion, he TELLS RICH AND POWERFUL PEOPLE AND THE GOVERNMENT ABOUT!!! (Because, why not put yourself in a situation where you will be kidnapped or exploited, or have your magical ring taken away.) <<less

Before starting this review I have to say this - if you are looking for an interesting VRMMORPG novel, and you have nothing else to read, this novel is not a bad choice. Having said that let's get on with the review.

Disclaimer: I highly recommend ignoring review and ratings, there have been tons of instances where novels that people genuinely hated became my favs. So yeah, proceed with caution.

The good:

This novel is actually interesting. I fact, I had more fun reading this messy novel than most of the high rated... more>> elite novels (I am looking at you Jap novels with beta protagonists). The MMORPG segment is lots of fun if you like fast character growth, and the world-building itself is ok. The real-life part of the novel is also very fun, and I even dare say that I enjoyed it a lot at parts. And... That's about it.

The bad:

Oh boy, I love this novel but there are so many horrible things about it. In the beginning, everything is very promising and great. It begins as a genuine VRMMORPG novel, but it slowly goes to sh*t. The problem is that the author said "f* it, this is a sci-fi superhero novel now!" mid-way through the novel. All of a sudden, the aim of the novel shifts from MC becoming the strongest players yada yada, to the MC becoming the strongest superhero (mutant). Here lies the core problem. After some point, the novel essentially splits in two. You could genuinely skip the VRMMORPG parts of the novel, or the reality parts of the novel and not notice anything. One can be perfectly read without the other. Moreover, the VRMMORPG part of the novel feels like it's been written by a different writer altogether. On top of that, midway through the plot goes to sh*t overall. It's like the author decided to just give up on writing a quality novel, and started writing whatever came to his mind with no plan or overall strategy. Besides that, there are tons of smaller issues (like the author being the most racist book author I've ever seen), but I digress.

Overall, I really like this novel despite it being awful. The reason is that it is simple fun to read, and I really cannot bring myself to hate it. Give it a read if you have nothing better to read. <<less

Ok... Lets see this history is a mix of a bunch things.. alliens/robots/artificial souls/xianxia/mutants/monsters/mmorpg... So u ask is properly done? The answer is no.... At first this one is a story about common boy who changes his fate and start to learn how to fate... The jumps... In danger are not properly done.. At first author cares more about his school. Life and girls on the game... Then out nowhere he pulls a japanese guy who HAS to kill MC... Then it easily escalates. Its japan (crazy guys on this... more>> novel) vs the world then after japs sells their wifes and sister for food and it goes on china vs usa.... They make usa people look like bastards..... And idiots... (the worst people on this novel are chinese people but since they are chinese... No problem

his ai tell him to get a women or kill her... He HAS to do it... And how? A.i bro tell him he has to try to get women so he can find her... Guess what? He decide to exclude THAT one... And it goes worse everytime she is be his side he ignores her... Until now.. After he found the sh*t he is done.. He still dont try to get her

Really good has immense potential but the only flaw is that the novel focuses alot in one thing aka grinding and appears to have many flaws in some areas nonetheless it is pretty good I would recommend it to anyone that likes Virtual reality with weapons that are real like shura's wrath or legend of the asura that is even better ! I hope a translator actually picks this gem up, I mean it is pretty freaking good currently reading the MTL :D
