We have '' Mediterranean Hegemon of Ancient Greece '' a novel where the author has a great knowledge of different Greek cultures and peoples of the ancient Mediterranean, economy, military strategy, politics, religion. And he has Daves a credible MC, who goes from a mercenary to the king of an empire.
Then we have this novel that the author does not know about the history of Rome, a boring MC, and a weak plot.
If you read 'Mediterranean Hegemon of Ancient Greece' 'this is an insult to the history of Rome.

Like I don't really understand the two first reviews. First one talk about history and second one about another novel. Like chill guys. This author never said he would follow history or anything. He just used Roma as the settings. And what more he at least made some research.

Also the guy who talked about Sparta. Please. The MC just said that Sparta were strong and said that even though the film 300 had a lot of exaggeration, it was a way to show how the Sparta were seen. He never... more>> said he would use it as the base.

Now coming to the story itself. From the start the MC has an OP system and is already in a rather good position. He is lucky strong and get the girl wet. Like why would anyone even take this story seriously? This is clearly a story for a badass MC. The reader the author want to attract are the usual CN fan.

Secondly we have the introduction of some fantastic race. Like the author used the she wolf to introduce a woman and also used the giant myth to introduce another race. This also tell that the story has nothing to do with history and will be more about fantasy.

Well personally, I have the story à 5 just because of the bad reviews. But I would have given a four normally. Story is interesting. Nothing great, but nothing particularly bad. If you like story where an OP and lucky MC f*ck girls then this is for you. The s*x scene aren't described, but it doesn't matter. Give a try and see for yourself <<less

A good Novel. Simple and easy to understand yet still quite interesting. It may not be accurate in terms of history and economics or as detailed as other novels, but that’s what makes it quite refreshing. We read novels to relax and I quite dislike complex works as it makes the task of reading tedious in and of itself. I look forward to the next Chapter. Thank you for your hard work for it is much appreciated. Please do not stop updating this fascinating work.

You will definitely not enjoy this novel if you go in expecting historically accurate stuff about the roman empire.

At one point the author goes something like how strong spartan soldiers are and blah blah. He provides the movie 300 as proof of it. So, not very accurate in that sense at all.

On the flip side, it is a decent slightly fantastical world but still similar to ancient earth, s*ave/army building, and general Chinese face slapping novel. don't take the novel too seriously. The story is interesting, with comic strokes, and reasonably well connected, from what I could read it doesn't take history and myths seriously, but it works in a way that the autor takes its own interpretation and make own conections.
Unfortunately after chapter 64, it becomes paid, and to make matters worse, where the rest of the chapters are available in Chinese, they are images, making it impossible to translate with the browser.
A pity, because the story was going well, and it made me excited.

Actually It's not that bad. The author make the story based on his imagination, not based on history. At least he do a researched and it's not that misleading from it.

Nice story to pass your time but not good enough to be the top. If they improve the translation, and polish the edge, rating potentially will rise.
