I somewhat have a thing for the QT where ML forgets his memories in every arc.. And this one is clearly one where both the FL and ML have to fulfill tasks. Ugh, not sure I'm into that.

The world is also against her because of her cannon fodder character so she yearn to be accepted and to be loved. But as a cannon fodder it didn't go well..

yes she is ruthless and yes she uses SOME innocent people without regards of their feelings (especially in the first arc) but it is kinda explicitly stated later on in the book that she realized she was wrong and she was doing to people what was done to her. Also being ruthless (in general) this is also part of her journey/her way of finding if there are truly good people in the world and whether there was unrelenting love in the world. She gives vicious ultimatums and sees what the characters choose in the end. She has been severely hurt by the fake loves of her life and so she wants to test if there are any true form of love.

he didn't realise he can marry his sister so there was no thought of it until the main protagonist questioned him and when he thought about it it realised that the person that made his heart beat faster was not his sister and was this mysterious person in her body (wooo) so from the start he liked her for her

Actually, MC had a pitiful past. Although she was born from a wealthy family, her parents didn't love her; her fiance betrayed her for her stepsister; and she was betrayed again by her childhood sweetheart (Xu Ce in his mission). So I kind of understand why she became so heartless and ruthless in her missions.

MC will be an ex girlfriend of a certain male lead that was doomed to be a cannon fodder. Her mission was to separate the male and female lead.

After ML began to pursue MC, he also took the same mission as MC but with different role. ML's role was usually to become an affectionate second male lead who loved female lead silently. ML's mission was the opposite of MC; he had to make sure that male and female lead will end up together without disturbance. But after doing mission with MC, he often abandoned his mission and chose to help MC's mission instead.

For example the physician. For Su Wan, the physician can turn into anyone's side because he is easily deceived. Just like how this physician poisoned the original cannon fodder because Ye Zhi Hua wishes for it. And that physician sees that as being 'kind'. Ironic, right? The original cannon fodder is already dying but the physician still has the guts to be playing as god. Killing her 'painlessly' without consent. The physician is not exactly a good person just because he learned to love the cannon fodder (in the same parallel universe that Su Wan entered). That's why Su Wan made her revenge against the physician ruthlessly. If he can be deceived easily, he can turn to be heartless or kind, no? So for Su Wan, for this kind of people, the best way to revenge is to play him and let him know that he is being tricked. Lol

Tho, of course, there is a way to fix the physician's nature, but for our antagonistic FL, Su Wan, she wouldn't do such troublesome thing because her existence is to not let others be happy.

Especially for Xu Ce and Xuanyuanshi. Imagine, Xu Ce actually hugged her. &Gt;//-//< It's killing me!

Su Rui's various ways of accomplishing missions in the beginning were quite an eye opener. Imagine his tales being written in his own QT book😂

Also, Qi Yue and Yun Sheng's friendship dynamic is gold🤣

So at one point Su Wan is about to go to the wedding with he 6th prince in the first arc and I genuinely didnt really expect anything but the translator ughhhh theyre like, ooo I bet that ML Su Rui will show up! And I'm like. Thanks. Now I know what to expect. So annoying!!
