Mei Yiran was supposed to be a transmigrated heroine who wanted to go home and just need to collect charm by attracting men... her targets were men around Su Nuo and her moves were basically ousting and stepping on Su Nuo's original heroine halo. She was really hateful "at first" that I can't sympathize her circumstances bc she's doing evil schemes and hating Su Nuo with no reasons... but I'm glad that she changed her ways and finally understood that she shouldn't hurt someone just to get her goals.

I came to like her interaction with Su Nuo. However, bad karma hit her due to stringing many men... thus her ending can't be considered happy (*sad tears*)

Original ML (Shen Wang) became more jerk and also took the position of being a full-pledged annoying yandere in the last few chaps tho.

FL's amnesia, kidnapping done by Yandere Ori ML and other makjang dramas which "slightly" ruined this for me.

The original ML of the story end up being mentally ill and obsessive. You can say that the author did him dirty. However, it's fine because he's a plot device. (He keeps the conflict alive and moves the plot forward)

i find it annoying with the MC suddenly getting amnesia, it's like the whole character development she went through felt useless. So I stopped and consider the engagement between FL and ML as the ending.

But I find it unreasonable to turn the fake FL into a good person, since in the first timeline, she didn't show any remorse for the FL at all, she took everything from her without any guilt, including her adoptive parent's affection, leaving her with nothing until she committed su*cide, so ori ML and fake FL should've suffered together.. but the only one punished until the end was the ori ML which leave a bad taste in my mouth.

For those feeling sorry the the ori ML for suffering so much, have you forgotten everything he put the FL through? He's simply going through those sufferings as well, sounds fair to me. The part where he told FL's kidnapper to kill her was enough to blacklist him for me, she ended up getting stabbed by the kidnapper. Then there's also the part where he confiscated her phone refusing to give it back while hurling abusive words and physically assaulting her, the result? FL's bio mother ended up dying without being able to speak to her one last time. If you stopped me from hearing my mother's last words before she passed away, you can guarantee that I will kill you.

As for the ML, I have mixed feelings for him, he was the tyrant from the first world, he was indeed a tyrant, forcing himself on her, imprisoning her, causing her to have deep hatred and fear of him despite him truly loving her, I hate him for this, but he also followed her through the other 9 worlds and became nameless cannon fodders to help her finish her missions, if not it's impossible for her to complete them at all. His feelings for her is genuine, and he changed his ways after following her back to her original world. Besides, the FL forgave him, then there's no reason for me to judge him.

To be honest I understand why his parents favor her too. If I had two children one is in a hospital while the other has parents meeting in the school I would choose the child in the hospital. If I had two children one is healthy while the other is sick and has a heart disease I would stand with the sick child when they fight. Having a sick child is so hard. I don't say they were right but I understand where they come from.

the fact both of them -the ML and the fl- think about this life as a new start. They believe this life was the born of new them. The ML treat this body as his body. Love this body family as his own family. Take the body name as his own name.

there was ABSOLUTELY no need to make the original ML this crazy.

The FL is so mature!

The ML albeit strongly possessive but he respect the FL's wishes!

The character development of the FL from before and after QT is quite interesting and doesn't seem like a plot hole!

Although the pace in this novel is slightly slow but it doesn't make the reader bored as long as he bear with the first few chapters compared to other stories that I drop almost immeadiaty because of yandere ML being unreasonable and over the top! That story live to the idiom : "I was searching for copper but I have found gold!"

Especially Shen Wang. He was initially nice, but he somehow got distorted into this obsessed person halfway through the story. I didn't hate his ending as I feel that he deserved it given the things he did when he was being, um, obsessed. But there was so much potential to his character development, sigh.

I also have mixed feelings for Meng Yiran. Kinda wished she stayed in Su Nuo's world. She wasn't really that bad during the latter half of the story.

But seriously why did Meng Yiran suddenly got turned from a 2D cliché character into a nice character but Shen Wang just.... degraded. Why? WHY?
