I couldn't continue with this book, after the second arc I just felt like the MC just passes her mission solely based on luck cause it is obvious that she doesn't take the mission seriously and just lazys around and eats. In the second arc she forgot the most important thing about the mission and the system doesn't even help matters, honestly I feel the story just forces a lot of situations and comedic moments into it, then you add the MC low EQ and IQ, everything is just all... more>> over the place.

They are some moments that the MC acts smart but because of how s*upid she is already portrayed those small moments that she is actually thinking feels like it's a different person. It also doesn't feel like there is any character development for MC. <<less

I feel like I would have given another star if only the deaths weren't so sudden (though I am perfectly aware that death in real life does not give you a proper warning or whatsoever, I atleast hoped that the MC's death were given more depth and emphasis on the first two arcs) That was my only issue.

I have no qualms about the dynamic of the two and the yandereness of the ML is well written and gets really dark as each arc pass by. The third arc was my... more>> favorite, because they actually get to develop skinship and deepen their relationship with communication. I love how naive the MC is because what could be a perfect pair other than a perfectly clueless girl and an obsessive guy?

I hope the other arcs get better, it's a quick and nice read for people who are suckers for obsessive love. <<less

Ok so I procrastinated starting this novel for a long time because of all of the mixed reviews but here's my honest opinion of someone who's read a million of these quick transmigration novels. This is probably my second favourite of all of them and I'm not exaggerating I swear it's actually good.

So first off the MC. She's actually pretty cool she's actually the reason that I put this novel off for so long because some people didn't like her but she's pretty smart and is action oriented. Unless it's... more>> food or something to do with the task in that world she just doesn't care so although some people may find her annoying I didn't find her too bad but actually pretty cute. Sometimes I do find her a bit bratty but that's all for the sake of the tasks and because of the ML so I can forgive her.

Next up the ML. He's actually the reason I started reading this because I'm tr*sh for yandere obsessive possessive ML types and I was just in the mood for some. So he actually doesn't start off too yandereish just a bit sprinkled on top but as the series goes on he progressively blackens and becomes more and more possessive over the MC for reasons I'm sure you'll all understand as you read the book. What really makes this a great quick transmigration series though is that his personality changes slightly in each world depending on the situation he is in that world like if he grew up in a loveless family he's a bit colder or if he was abused he has psychological problems he actually has to get treated for. But no matter what he essentially falls for the MC in each world pretty much at first sight, though it varies from world to world so you have quite a bit of range in how their relationship develops.

Which being me to the actual storyline. What I like about this is that each world is unique and you never feel as if you're reading the same world twice. Some quick transmigration authors get lazy with some of their worlds and cut it short or the quality of the world's go down as more and more chapters are released. This doesn't happen in this series. Each world feels new, with new characters, new situations, and new ways the MC and ML meet and get together. Each relationship they share feels new and unique with different dynamics, though it's always the ML as the dominant force in their relationship. Although they always end up together, they still have challenges from those worlds and it differs in difficulty. All up, I think that this novel is definitely worth a read for all those people who like quick transmigration novels with the same MC and ML in each world and like yandere ML's. Happy reading (◜‿◝) ♡ <<less

My rating is 2.4.

Just finished the first arc, funny interactions with the system, but I'm dissatisfied with a few things:

Spoiler

The title was ''Rescuing the Blackened Male Lead''. So I thought she would actually be active. But the only thing she did was to wait for the male lead to take care of everything. Yes, she didn't have an ability, but she also never tried to assist him anyhow except for occasionally pointing out where the energy stones were. In contrast to that the male lead would spoil her to no end, taking care of her smallest problems. And yet she didn't really seem to get emotionally involved with him. I mean, this was her first mission. So I didn't expect her to be so coldhearted.

Also, due to the mc's dense personality (her only other character trait is a foodie) and the ml's coldness there was almost no progress in their relationship. The only slightly romantic thing was probably when he confessed to her zombie body. It just didn't really feel like romance in the other chapters. I wished that they would have talked a bit more.

If you are looking for a novel with a funny system and to kill time, this is for you. It's even better when you use a bit of fantasy to imagine more romantic scenes. I will start to read the other arcs soon. Maybe it gets better.:) <<less

It's funny ride. The concept is great and story is entertaining and engaging even though MC has EQ and IQ forcedly in very low numbers from time to time and ML behaves in increasingly disturbing ways sometimes.

The story is split into arcs with new settings and roles. I read so far:

... more>> Arc 1: This Male Lead Is a Bit Crazy

Zombie apocalypse arc with the heartwrenching ending. What an emotional punch.

Arc 2: Snow White in a Dark Fairytale

What a twisty fairy tail retteling. Also the first time you find out how creepy ML in fact is.

Arc 3: What to Do? Brother Has Blackened

This one continue with the creepy ML, but it's in the high school setting. Not entirely my cup of tea but I liked the psychological aspect in this one. The end was again so sad. Still - not my fav.

Arc 4: The Male Lead Raises a Cat

This one was heartwarming and silly. Even though it was again in high school setting and became dragged out in the ending, I liked the concept and the hints ML gave. ^^ It's unique and it picked my attention. ^^ <<less

This novel is so much fun! I'm really having a blast and mtl-ing the rest atm but let me just say, so far, I'm so amused!

Our MC is a foodie, not OP, but competent. She's so cute! Even if she can come off as naive, I really like that she's not overly complicated and moves forward to complete her missions. So far, the MLs in the worlds she visits are all wonderfully yandere (I haven't gotten far enough to know if it's 1v1 or 1v??) but so far, I'm guessing... more>> 1v1. The system is a bit rude and a bit sweet; I didn't find it too annoying.

Main gist is that our MC is a transmigrator who meets the ML in each world to help him complete his objective. She doesn't idle, and she makes an effort to help out, although food is her real driver in the worlds. Each world is fun and doesn't feel repetitive. There isn't any immediate falling in love in the first arc, but afterwards, it is a -bit- quick. Also it gets spicy after the first arc~~~

Honestly, I'm looking forward to how this continues. Also many thanks to the translators who are doing an amazing job! <<less

What a hidden gem! :)

This story so far is the only Chinese Quick Transmigration that I follow and binge read... thanks for the translation MadPanda.

Are there any other Quick Transmigration webnovels exactly like this? I find the author has quite a different writing style compared to the other QTs that is hilarious, to-the-point and heartwarming.

As a male reader I appreciate and find this way of writing much better... thankyou author-sama for toning down the girl-cat-fights, b*tching and ridiculous plot-drama as a lot of the time these end up turning... more>> me off : (

The story progression is slow, seeing how people marked their reading status with more than over a couple thousand, I suppose that's naturally so. The flow is enjoyable and the squabble between MC and the system is adorable. So far though, I don't see much of a reason of why she's doing what she's doing. MC is forced to do these QTs in order to fulfill her wish to be reincarnated with an easy life, but she already takes advantage of her position as much as she can, she basically... more>> is already fulfilling her main goal that's stated in the synopsis.
What I disliked is although the story is marked for tragedy and romance; BUT

Spoiler

WARNING; literally spoiling the entire first arc for you.

The first arc at least was completely void of tragedy and romance. She was getting pampered by her love interest, but never realizes his true intentions. Reasonably so, because she had two big advantages the ML could exploit, first off there's her body that's a big EXP buff for zombies and second off, her ability to looking for stabilizers and EXP upgrades for him. If I was her, I wouldn't notice his true intentions either, really. They rarely communicate with each other and only have a short exchange when it's absolutely necessary. For me, that's lack of a build up in the romance section, as for tragedy, ML is supposedly in love with our MC and she ends up dying tragically to pursuers who are after ML and she dies to a bullet while diverting them away from their hiding spot while ML is busy lvling up in a state where he can't interact (kind of a hibernation mode). And MC croaks before she gets to even speak a word to him or he to her. There's nothing from his point of view and all we got is a "i like you". Follow up s**ked balls to, as he turned her into a zombie but killed her later on. To sum it up it was a one sided crush (not even hardly love) that's not even elaborated in any way emotionally from ML's side.

[collapse]
My opinion of this might change in the future as I read on with future updates & chapter releases. It's a fun read nonetheless, just lacking in the tragedy/romance department. It's majorly just amusing and humorous. <<less
