An internet troll who wanted attention, the reader criticized his favorite web novel, saying: “The protagonist is dumb and the author is s*upid.”

Author: “…Got it.”

Unfortunately for him, the author actually listened to his (troll) feedback. The formerly lighthearted tale of a cute harem master suddenly became super dark and edgy. The reader could only helplessly look on as the protagonist was abused and betrayed, finally embarking on the road to becoming completely evil. Everything was a mess!

After that the reader transmigrated into a strange world. How come the person in front of him looks like the protagonist (evil undead version)? Just what is going on?!

Note: Du Zhe (读者 meaning Reader) and Du Ze (杜泽 the character’s name) sound almost the same

A fun read. Not to be taken too seriously, though. Heavy on typical yaoi tropes, but the story is fun. This is the second BL trasmigration novel I've read, it's an interesting concept in this story. I liked the action scenes a lot, especially towards the end!

My gosh I really love this novel it's the best bl novel ever ??? I like how du ze is not perfect but I think that it fits with xiu just fine gah the both of them are so perfect together ?? ??

I very much enjoyed this novel even if there are stale moments, it did not really remove me from the overall “feel” of the novel. The translation is great so it greatly helps in bringing out the emotions in of the characters, most especially for the 2 main characs.

Though I would have hoped for more of Xiu’s (the protagonist) point of view because there are times where we need to see his side of things but was not dealt on because it goes into exposition for the reader instead, where... more>> he explains the happenings in the novel which is not sometimes the case however I let it slide because this was still a very very veeeeery fun read.... especially the NSFW chaps

ghad dang was the author into some of dem kinky sh** with the charac ?

Truly this novel had just the right mix of comedy and drama with heaps of fluff, romance and generic fantasy elements. <<less

This was quite an enjoyable read...I've been reading a lot of transmigration themed novels and this had a good mix of drama, comedy, fantasy and action scenes (referring to the actual fights and the other type)... but I guess there were some parts where I felt that there was a lack in transition and some parts which could have been elaborated..

I'm truly happy to have found this book... After it was removed from wattpad and the posters account became non existent my heart hurt... Such a beautiful piece of literature, re read it while it was still on wattpad and the effect was still the same.... As I've cried there I'll do the same once I read it again

Best BL novel I've ever read! The world building in this novel is truly wonderful, it is complicated but the sophistication greatly draws me to drown into it. The MC and ML are meant to be each other, their relationship development and each person's character growth are well-built, their signs of progress are at a reasonable, steady pace. I just love how devoted they are to each other!

Wear your helmet because the plot twists will throw you off the cliff LOL.

The ending is perfect, at first I didn't find it... more>> really that satisfying but it was all because I forgot about the extras!!! Never regret reading this wonderful novel. <<less

It took me sometime to start reading it since I wanted to make sure that it is worth it and it didn't disappoint me. I had a bit of struggle grasping the plot on the first few chapters because of the way it has been written as well as I am reading during work hours. Good thing that the "R-18" parts was separated otherwise I will get in trouble. Anyways, it is worth the read and I wanted to read it one more time. I am also goint check out... more>> other novels. I hope that I can find more of this great works. <<less

I love, loved, and will always love this novel sincerely from the bottom of my heart. I had a short but sweet journey reading this novel. It was a massive break from usual cliche another world novels although I do enjoy those nonetheless haha. The ending was LOVELY but I do have to say that I still had some questions left unanswered though it was not major enough to bother me. Questions about Demon God Dantalion's behind story, where Xiu's Lich form's life box was hidden, why beasts are afraid... more>> of Du Ze, so and so... Overall, as I've said, it was a sweet journey being able to read Xiu and Du Ze's growth individually as well as two people in love. I was especially touched by Xiu's heartbreaking past and his emotional dependability on Du Ze. Made to love (believe & trust) no one, not even himself after countless betrayals until he meets Du Ze, very touching :). Lastly, I'd like to say thanks to everyone involved in delivering this wonderful story to us!!! <<less

I really love the story. After searching so many danmei/yaoi story to read, I found this. Its really interesting and unique. It also has a nice feeling when you read it. Its one of the best transmigration for me and also one of my favorite.

The characters, especially the protagonist and reader, is unique (though there is still similarities to the typical protagonists) and you'll gonna love them just like how I love them. Don't forget the doujinshi! Also I do love the back stories and how the ready is not... more>> like the other MC that wants to conquer the world or something. Also the cute pics of the protagonist and readers. I really love them.

Also, this story gives us life lessons. Even though it is a fantasy story but as you read through it, you'll find words and their meanings that can be use in reality.

I've been reading this for 2 and a half days and it really made me cry. I just finish it at 1:30am and its very satisfying to finish this story.

To all that wants to read an adventure, romance, and of course a bl story, you'll gonna love this story. <<less

I really enjoyed reading this novel especially since I haven't been reading these fictional stories lately. I loved the story and the characters were interesting to follow. The story didn't really grip me from the very start but as you go into the later chapters, I found myself really into the story sympathizing the protagonist. I laughed at many moments, especially when the reader found himself in an extremely awkward situation. Thinking, ahhh sh*t that's me. The story allowed me as a reader to get attached to the many characters... more>> and making me extremely attached to them. Laughs were made and tears were shed. Though this story is good, I felt like the ending should have been a bit more concrete. But its fiction so ¯\_ (ツ) _/¯ Just read the story goddammit. &Lt;3 <<less

It's really good. MC & ML's relationship is so cute. The plot is interesting, funny & thrilling but still..I can't rate it a full 5/5 because there were times where I felt a little bit bored with the story.

A 4 out of 5 is very good though, so I'd recommend everyone to read it... it was a little bit difficult for me to fully get into it at the beginning I even dropped it at first but after a few chapters I really got into it.
