My name is Joo In-gong. The name that my parents gave me meant ‘protagonist’ of the world. Really?

As anyone can predict, I was constantly teased due to my name. In kindergarten, elementary school, middle school and high school. If I went to university as planned then I would probably be laughed at there as well.

So, at one point, I really hated my name.

But not anymore. Now, I think slightly differently. Maybe being named Joo In-gong was a type of foreshadowing?

This story reads a bit like watching someone else play a video game.

When it sticks to game elements and action sequences, it's interesting enough in concept: game the system, gain ALL the levels, crush everything. Nothing groundbreaking, but reasonably entertaining. There's a B-movie plot in there somewhere, but it mostly serves as a thinly-veiled excuse for all the powerleveling, in typical RPG style. Pretty standard stuff.

Every other part of the story falls completely flat, on account of the main character being excruciatingly bland. Once again, in typical RPG style. Oh,... more>> and there's a harem romance sub-plot with borderline mind control that tries to be cute but is actually super creepy. <<less

The story is almost good, but...
It's about the protagonist whose soul is transferred to another world to save that world. That's all.

The story line is short and straight forward. No cliff, no turn around, no corner, no hidden plot. Each act is for powering up the MC. The fight/combat is short and plain and straight. No catchya, no unexpected, no any expect. That's one star rating lost.

The dialogue destroy another star. Each character can talk only a simple short, straight, plain sentence. Not until the last chapters that they... more>> can talk lengthy or have complex idea behind.

Love scene is not exist until the very last chapters. Harem too.

OK to read to pass time. Wanna give 4 stars, but can't. <<less

It is a good little story.

The MC gets pulled into a game (spoiler :: supposedly the game is based on some records of another world passed by someone into our world) . He knows the not so good ending of the game, and needs to prevent it. Hence starts his journey in this new world.

Does the novel contain harem? - Yes, (spoiler :: the number of people in it is greater than 2 if you count Green Wind, Anastasia and possibly Nayatra) .

Does he return to his own world?... more>> - There is a possibility to return but do you really want the MC to leave his harem?

The events in the story happen over a year (or two), and considering that the problem he has to tackle is enormous, the complains about story being repetetive, rushed at the ending, etc. Do not hold as the story and no. Of chapters are short. AS I SAID, IT IS A HAPPY LITTLE STORY. <<less

It a bit interesting but not to my league. I found the MC a bit lack in personality department where the side kick seems to be over glorified by the author. The set-up seems interesting enough and it's only become interesting for me

as the story goes. It a bit similar to shounen genre that it's bland and lack to wow appeal for me. It' good to read but not the type that would excite.

Plus, I found the green wind so annoying as she tryhard to sticks to the MC (like... more>> notice me senpai level). Other characters are interesting and not bland like other novels which is good. The characters and the world is the thing which is interesting. But there is too many question need to be answers. The world has a nice build up but lacks the fighting badness department.

I guess I think is just OK for me but not the type that I would reread for many times that I needed to turn it to PDF to read offline. It's a ok read to past time. <<less

MC being reincarnated inside a game world. At first I really like the story, but as the story progress I find some faults with it well there is good things there too.

The bad thing is even tho the MC knows the game pretty well he doesn't use it very well. Like for example:
-He still wants his old followers (in the game) even tho (i think) there is still stronger people he can make him follow
-The writing style also includes a lot of thinking so um..? You cant easily... more>> get emotionally attached to the MC? At least that's what I felt when reading this novel.
-The other characters is also one dimensional (tho I think its getting better).
-He's also way too carefree (it's like the MC just let the plot armor protect him) .
-The power system (for me) looks random like for ex: magical power, physic power, aura, divine power etc, etc, its jumble all together I cant get hype at all when it got mention. (-_-)
recommended? Yes. As I said there are still some good things you can found on this novel. Just too lazy too write them :P <<less

I'm just so sick of hearing "MC (Shutra) ! You're so great!"

This phrase sums up everything wrong with this novel. It's just far too masturbatory. Instead of being shown that the MC is awesome, you have to be told that he's awesome - over and over and over and over again. MC can do everything and anything, and all his to-be-wives have to remind him (and unfortunately us as well) how great and magnificent and handsome and cute, etc. He is.

A fun simple read with interesting character progression. But the RPG videogame nature of this Isekai felt a bit weak to me. Especially with how detached the MC was with his "character", making it difficult to really care about his plight. A decent yet highly forgettable story and a TL who ruined a particular character for me, due to their gender political vernacular. Though this fantasy novel happens to have the best Orc side character I've come across. He deserves his harem.

I only expected the redundancy in chinese novels. I don't know how other people manage to read this, ugh. Every other line is an statement about the previous line (making me faceslap and say DUH!). Seriously, is the author thinking that the readers of his story are a bunch of mindless zombies? Oh, seeing the scores in this, moving along...

It's so obvious how the author thought of making a real life RPG story, then later discovering the annoyances of keeping up with the stats of the MC. So, he flipped... more>> the table and said to hell with it.

Overall, not that bad and not that good either, simply MEH. You're better off reading the works of noodlehammer in fanfiction website, or EER. <<less

There’s a whole lot of uncomfortable in*est stuff but the other aspects of the story are all foundationally good. The characters are fairly well written and the story is interesting. The writing flows well and keeps you engaged.

There wasn’t anything particularly incredible about the story, or special pieces that stood out, but the fact that every crucial aspect was done to a satisfactory level is an incredible feat in itself.

One of the better novels to be found on NovelUpdates.

I'll just say that the author cleaned up any plot holes left at the end of the series with some good explanations.

The ending was heartwarming enough to say that the read was worth it.

This is a great story that's full of action and great characters all the way through. It's a bit too fast paced for my taste but it's a consistent pace without any rushed or slow points that I can think of off hand.

Overall it's a really good read that really stuck the landing, check it out if you have the time.

Interesting novel. Enjoyed reading it till the very end... although it was somewhat predictable and the MC often just accepted things the way they were and followed the flow. All in all a great novel to enjoy when you have nothing else to read, since it isn't even that long. Translation was well done as well!

I would like to express a few points before you read this novel

MC of this novel is so dumb (refer tags see there is no clever protagonist) , I mean I don't know, i've read many novels before which have crafty MC's in devious schemes. It feels good discovering the machinations and MC countering them. However our MC in this novel isn't smart or strong (Atleast till now). The plan he has to get the throne is just vague, like I should make her my friend, I should not make... more>> friendship with zephyr. He decides these things from his perspective from game. He doesn't critically think or analyse. (Like there are 3 camps 1st prince, prince zephyr, 4th princess. He cuts off relation to them simply due to his gaming experience, not as his current identity).

The power system is confusing. He learns magic if he is hit with any spell and the dumbsh*t practically throws himself at spells once in middle of a battle to learn them. So how does it work? It also doesn't explain how he levels maybe due to practicing? And he gets skill points from leveling so double benefit? Then what about others ?it is said that they also have levels but there is no further explanation than that.

Each chapter has 30-40% of his internal monologue. He just daydreams when will he able to get strong or how his skills turn out to be. His subordinate is a s*upid orc, who behaves as he wishes and they aren't that close even. Some times you pity our pathetic piece of MC cause other princes's and princess's subordinates are so behaved. MC tells him to keep a secret, orc replies him that he will maintain as long as there is a blade on his neck. XD

overall it has a good setting and author has world building right but interaction between characters is bland and one dimensional. And of course has s*upid, ignorant, daydreaming MC

P.S: I don't understand why author emphasises his name as In-gong when he transmigrated. It really sticks out compared to others. <<less

1. The sheer number of typos and mistakes in this translation makes me wonder why it's fit to be on Wuxia World. Extremely sloppy and subpar for the site. Commenters offer corrections, which are never implemented.

2. Great premise, below average execution. It feels too much like every other loot spamming KR novel where it's just an endless series of fights and new equipment.

3. Good characters, but action scenes are sometimes boring and unnecessarily drawn out.

A simple but sweet story. I found all of the heroines fairly likeable and the protagonist to be decent. Nothing is amazingly funny or emotional, and the story doesn't have tremendous depth or meaning, but I got through this novel in 3 days and I don't regret the hours I spent on it.

Although Breakers has some cool ideas, if you're sick of the kind of action-harem story you'd see out of a J-RPG, this isn't for you. But I haven't read too many novels of this type yet. I really... more>> enjoyed the story. <<less

Novel was good. Author probably wanted to make more chapters but he changed his mind and shortened the story.
Spoiler

Story developing well to 200 chapter+ and then author decides to end the story faster and just skip to the end with some plot armors.

[collapse]

Actually world has potential mb story of this MC ended but I would like to see another story in this world.

After following this translation for so long, I have a lot of mixed feelings. I love this story, I enjoyed reading the story one chapter at a time from beginning to end. The story itself is nowhere near a literary masterpiece, it has plenty of its own problems. But it just has a way of growing on you that makes you love it. A lot of people won't like what this translation has to offer, but those that do will love it. I hope anyone reading this will take the... more>> time to give the story a fair shot, & see if it grows on you as well. ^.^ <<less

The story are much better than I expected, I thought it was going to typical story of repetitive things, but I was wrong. The balance between MC role and Support character are well balanced (though some of them are didn't have enough screen time but considering the length of chapters). The story might be not exceptional or something new, but the the way story flow, the phase, and the execution of story is splendid. I might be a bit overpraise it, but it's worth to read till the end.

Don't read... more>> those negative preview, especially who only read halfway and b*tching about it.

And thank you Rainbow Turtle (and the team), for brought us this story and top quality translation, once again thank you <<less

As you know KRs often love human vs all step into the past MCs, but this novel truly makes it look like a game come to life, without the MC being an edgelord or going around killing every sentient species for god

Its about a weak ass prince becoming powerful to protect the friends he made along the way from their fates

The character development is plainly obvious but not too sudden nor does he simply find a max level rare candy, op potential though

Not sure why anybody would give this low rating coz of some minor annoyances

Novel is on good pace ~ some characters are really entertaining and you definitely enjoy a lot when MC gets new skills he is kind of good person ~ There are a lot of mysteries too~

the most interesting part of this novel is that it never gets boring coz of constant changes brought in by plot, characters and skills
