Links are NOT allowed. Format your description nicely so people can easily read them. Please use proper spacing and paragraphs.Just one step in the wrong direction, and I managed to cross over into a different sphere. A newly-made world of a God.
In the distance stood a small house surrounded by a field. And inside lay a man on a bed.
According to the God, he was a hero. One who had died in a tragic event.
Then the next words of the God threw me into a panic.
What did you mean I needed to save money to return to my original world?
Since there was nothing else I could do anyway, I dove head first into my goal. Plucked some grass. Grew some vegetables. All to earn a steady income.
Apparently, my profession was the “Hero’s Wife,” but that’s definitely a bug, right?

this actually affected his smexy time. He always fainted because his stamina wasn't enough for snu snu lmao but eventually he raised it and both are able to rid of their virg*n status
not sure if I should add mpreg tag since they actually have a child but they actually grew it from a seed
The second child’s birth baffles me. So the kids are like their parents or their souls? Where the heck did a squirrel come from?! So once a squirrel always a squirrel.......
including hints of possible bestiality??? Wtf, then it goes back to fluff, misunderstandings, and slice of life until c32 when things get racy in a lowkey weird way. Start is very bland and boring, but the concept of the world is very... more>>The hero lived sequestered in a forest until he was 25. The final extra shows him exploring the forest as a teenager with solid views on current events, so he probably had some degree of communication or experience outside. His powers isolated him from those outside of his race. Small creatures automatically avoid him due to his strength. This hits him pretty hard because he finds small animals cute. He is finally able to
seducebefriend one with hisbeautypersistence. They become good friends and neighbors in the forest. The hero’s race is human-like, but slightly larger with a longer lifespan and alternative methods of reproduction. The little friend seems to be a slightly silly squirrel, who makes multiple proposals and builds a nest to please this person. The hero finds these actions adorable and is touched, but refuses for the relationship to go further. The first tragedy is that there is no way to pursue romance with a squirrel. It doesn’t matter that it’s rare for his race to find a partner. They are incompatible races. The hero must have considered his pet’s advances seriously at least once, because he reflects in the story that the difference in size alone made accepting impossible.
The next part is only referenced in a few scenes rather than getting it’s own flashback. The war heats up and the hero leaves the forest to join the battle. I’m extrapolating from scattered details at this point, but the world is on the verge of being torn apart from the conflict and hiding in the forest will not solve anything. He leaves this little friend behind waiting for him to return.
A lot of time passes and the hero finally gets access to the ‘corrupt soul’ in a sword at the center of the conflict. The easiest solution is to destroy the sword and fulfill his dream to retire back to the forest. This is the second tragedy. The hero instead sacrifices himself (as well as part of the continent and its citizens he wasn’t able to save in time) to separate the soul from the sword and send it to be purified. He dies a 45-year old virg*n and never fulfills his desire to return and see his silly squirrel. The everlasting war finally ends thanks to his actions, and what remains of the continent is saved.
His father asks if it was worth using his last life in such a way. The hero is firm in believing he did the right thing. His only regret is tied to his companion in the forest who he let down. Sig asks about the little friend and is told that he lived out his life until he died of old age. We actually don’t know the squirrel’s lifespan in this fantasy world, but another squirrel in the story hits maturity in single digits. This is much faster than the Hero’s race who hits adulthood at 30. I think there is a very high chance that he passed away before the hero. This is supported by the reveal that the silly squirrels soul had long moved on to another world. There are strong hints in other chapters that the silly squirrel lived out the rest of its life pining away for a companion that didn’t return before it passed away.
Minoru is the reincarnation of the silly squirrel called ‘Mi’. The hero was thinking of Mi so intensely in his sleep that he managed to call Minoru to his side. He recognizes that this human is ‘Mi’ which is why he falls in love so fast and easily misunderstands Minoru’s role/intentions.
we never get to see him go outside and meet Minoru’s family. I want to know what happened for the husband and wife to spend most of the day on Earth where an hour inside is equal to a month outside. To be fair, the ML does say he cannot follow Minoru out and the number of children do not match up exactly with the ‘dream of the future’. It’s just disappointing that none of his children or his husband can meet Grandma or be involved with that part of Minoru’s life.
