The soap opera is good for those who like to eat dog food, so if you like some extra drama, give up.

MC is not a person who admits his feelings at the beginning of the romance, it was sclerated in my head when his mother was a fan of ML during his adolescence, because everyone says he does not support ML, but in fact every time he repeats in his head how capable and beautiful ML is.

This is an easy-to-read fluffy web novel series. It's written like a sitcom with odd misunderstandings solely for the purpose of comedy, and there is always one misunderstanding after the other. The mu*der plot moving in the background is far more interesting to me, but little focus has been given to it. This series focuses on comedy and misunderstandings without much tension.

If you want to read a silly, light-hearted series intended for laughs, this one may put a smile on your face.

MC's mother is ML's powder, and due to his father's bribe he had to go along with his mother until he finds ML a sore to the eyes (mtl might not be accurate)

But thanks to the system his original view started to change, he notices ML's good points and MC started noticing the changes in him. MC was doing the task to stay alive then slowly started to turn into MC waiting for tasks in order to have an excuse to interact with ML until he find the courage to initiate things himself which is pretty cute.

This book is like candy. There might not be a ton of depth to it, but sometimes you want something sweet and good, and aren't looking for depth or challenge. This book made me laugh out loud several times, and I definitely got invested in the characters. If you want a feel good book that has fun characters and a fun romcom style plot, this is a good choice. The author does completely break the 4th wall in the extras but I found it charming.

Sometimes I don't want to read the comments of others before reading, because some people actually have different opinions. All I can say is that this story is truly a remarkable spread. Too sweet. The story is really too sweet T's. I think hua cheng is the romantic gong ter character I've ever read. But it turns out, ren jing is really a modern version of hua cheng I can't describe anything anymore, jing jing, our completely fictional character is impossible to be true. It's cute. Kinda.

I mean MC has good reasons for all those things (leading ML on) and he himself started developing feelings along the way. If both of them are willing I'm not one to nitpick.

What bothered me is how easily ML fell for him. Like he had no defence. How can someone be so defenceless and easy? As if this grown man actually a teenager getting attention from a pretty girl (here, a boy). Whatever. People can be any way they want. But I'm too bored to finish it.

The novel begins a little bit tragically: the MC, after spending the night with his "enemy", in the morning tries to run as far away as possible and forget everything that happened. As a result, he dies in a car accident but is saved by the system; afterwards, he somehow becomes bound to ML, and in order to survive, he has to complete missions, and this is the moment where the story becomes really funny. The missions that MC must complete are hilarious. What makes those missions even funnier is... more>> that our MC is shy, and ML is so in love with MC that he doesn't doubt anything and goes along with him; in short, there is dog food everywhere. There is not much drama; it's light reading; the author has a good sense of humor; it's fast-paced; and the way of telling the story is good. What I liked most was that the author very cleverly explained how the system was activated and the reasons behind the bizarre missions. It was a good plot twist. I also liked that the story wasn't only about love but also about friendship. There are side couples too who have complicated relationships; their stories are more heartbreaking, but at the end everyone gets a happy ending. Extras were wonderful too. The title is quite literally what it means.

MC dies if he doesn’t fall in love.

Oh dear, I liked this one so much, my heart was filled with honey and so much dog food. It’s pretty obvious that this is the type of novel that shouldn’t be treated seriously since it has a comedic undertone. Really, you’ll just bring yourself unnecessary stress if you take it seriously, I kind of think that Long Qi was on crack when she thought of this plot and it somehow managed to work HAHAHA.

I just... more>> looked forward to every task the system gives, it’s always so interesting somehow. Oh, and the ML... I LOVE him so much, he deserves the world. The MC is hilarious too. I liked this one overall, I think it deserves the 5 stars. I was grinning so much while reading. As for the side cps... they made me vomit dog blood cause damn... It’s not that serious though, you can pay it no heed.

I feel like those who gave like 2 stars and such didn’t finish the novel HAHAHA they took this too seriously when it was meant to be lighthearted, I mean... just by looking at the main plot, it’s quite obvious ain’t it? A guy taking tasks that are targeted to a certain person and having to fall in love with them... erm... yeah... You get my point! But yes, I do admit that it's really mediocre.

Just read this when you have free time, the past of the ML made my heart feel distressed for him ah, and he’s so in love. I want someone like him.

It is completely your loss if you read this story as if you’re reading a school history book, and I highly advise you against that. Just sit back and relax, watch MC embarrass himself as ML continues to be infatuated with pink glasses.

Everything has a reason, trust the process, stop reading the reviews, you’re wasting your golden time so read the novel instead!!! Long Qi never disappoints me. <<less

I actually really like this story. I wouldn’t go into it expecting a great amount of character development or intense story lines. I’m over half way through and I will say the author has a habit of introducing characters that aren’t that important, making characters who don’t seem important suddenly very important, or just inventing characters to create or fix a problem but it’s done so fairly poorly. The plot isn’t amazing and there are times where it feels like the author ran out of idea so they just took... more>> a tiny problem and decided to run with it for 10 chapters, or make a simple problem complicated. The biggest strength of this novel is for sure the relationship between the MC and his love interest. They’re sickeningly sweet and it’s the type of relationship where as long as the author keeps them together you’ll probably keep reading just to read their interactions. <<less

Father Ye was really angry that he beat his child until he couldn’t get out of bed" imagine your son saved a life but he almost died, what will you do? Apparently, it's to beat them up. I wanna beat up that father then. He just redeemed himself when Ye Chen came out.

"He gave the husky a kick and the dog whimpered in response." but after a few paragraphs it was claimed that he spoiled the dog and won't let anyone hurt it????

I love this story so much!!

At first you'll probably be uncomfortable with the system threatening the MC, and how MC deliberately get close to ML just for the sake of getting life points.

But it'll only be for a while since the MC quickly fall in love with ML. Who will not fall in love to such a gentle, patient, and understanding ML?!

The other thing I love is the MC two 'fathers' that really care for him amd spoil him dearly! They are so funny too especially Mr. Fish (old yu).... more>> And I love MC's tsundere family too! They are so funny and cute!

The only thing I was not satisfied is, I want more of the after story of the side pairs! <<less

Have finished the main story and will updated the review after read the rest of the extra till complete.

Anyway... This Novel... Is Truly Amazing! Should have expect that because the Author's other novels are Great. But still surprised me.

This novel have few moments that give us hints that lead to expected moments, but most of parts of the story is Beyond Expectations!!! It was Mindblowing... And the Feelings just... Uuuugggghhhhh!!! Their Love is just so... Goooood!!!

ML's Love Filters makes everything MC doing is Cute and Lovely and Endearing and the... more>> Best thing ever. Except when they're talking about Sad stuff, he will try to stop him.

Counting by the days in the novel, it didn't take long for MC to fall for ML, BUT, all reasons and moments that lead MC has feelings for ML made their relationship doesn't feel rush at all!!!

No Drama between them, but there's Enough Unexpected Dramas around them and about the past that mentioned.

And this novel also has lots of Epic Funny moments!!!

Anyway, this novel is beyond expectations in the Best way EVER!!! I LOVE THIS FOR ETERNITY AND BEYOND!!! though this Love so far is for the main story. I don't know what would I feel for the Extras. <<less

I dont have much to say about how the story goes. It's cute and entertaining to read. Some comments have mentioned how they dont like what the MC did at the end to show his loyalty? I disagree with that. Some things are best not to be said and for me this is one of it. I think MC did the right choice and it has the best result for both MC and ML.

I can understand if anyone gets turned off to this book bc of the death system for like honestly until half (40ish) of this novel.

Some "systems" are either written very well that they integrate in a meaningful or logical or nonaggravating way or they are written mediocrely where they don't bother too much but are a subtle convenient plot device. And then there are those written shamelessly as a plot device with no meaning and logic except to fulfill certain story plots.

Imo the death system is the latter one but... more>> because this is ultimately a fluffy novel, at worst it just provides aggravating nonsensical second hand embarrassment. I honestly feel bad for the MC bc the system is fairly incompetent and not very logical. But in the end, this is book is ALL FLUFF. So if you can make it past half of this book, it's pretty smooth sailing. The ML is very cute and they together are very cute. <<less
