The protagonist, Akane Shimizu, is summoned to a different world along with her entire class. For some reason, only she is disliked by the goddess, and her status shows average ability values with only two skills:

“Incompetent” and “Free Dream”

To make matters worse, there are no magic spells displayed in her status. As a result of being disliked by the goddess, she follows a path of tragedy and encounters an evil god. Her fate is tested as she must choose whether to wither away or follow a path to happiness.

I enjoyed the hook when the protagonist ate the evil good,

but one thing gets tedious fast:

She's a Mary Sue who keeps doing "impressive" stuff and getting praised for it, but the mechanics of that impressive stuff are really boring.

Personally I greatly enjoy ‘stereotypical Isekai’ novels so I’m gonna be biased in my review.

As of v2c3 I find very few flaws and plenty of enjoyable content. I’ll specify a bit more in the spoiler but overall it delivers exactly what the novel says it does, just read the title and description.

tldr: Beautiful girl doesn’t know she’s beautiful, is hated by a few of her female classmates because of her interacting with the ikemen of the class who likes her, and after being forced by a jealous goddess (Saria) to be super weak, she’s forced to face an evil god... whom she eats and becomes super op.

[collapse]

The only flaw I see so far is the story’s pacing, which is a bit inconsistent. Not really a big deal but I had to reread a few things to get a grasp on what happened due to that. Even still, that’s not really a problem.

Very good so far, looking forward to seeing more being translated. <<less

First off, while this doesn't directly affect my rating, the translation is sub-par. There are many weird terms that feel like mistranslations because they don't make sense in English, but I can't read the original so I can't confirm this.

It's possible that unfitting lingual styles of certain characters are misaligned with their setting due to this.

Now to the novel itself (trying to keep spoilers to a minimum, but I cannot defend my point without making some examples) : It's a decetly interesting setting and story, but the way it's written... more>> sometimes feels like it lacks effort.

Spoiler

It starts off with a parallel world summoning of the entire class with the protagonist being singled out and receiving "useless" skills and bad stats, but unlike many other novels, the people who summoned them are actually fairly understanding and intend to protect the MC rather than throw her out.

So at that point I expected some sort of slow growth, with the MC gradually figuring out how to actually make use of the special abilities, but instead, she solves all her problems regarding her status at once and gains basically all non-unique skills as well as astronomical stats with close to no effort. Even training those skills which is done in what feels like a "month" is just summarised in one or two paragraphs, with no clear explanation of the process of acquiring the knowledge or the capabilities afterwards.

Then, for certain reasons, the MC does not want to be found by her classmates, but instead of keeping her carefully crafted disguise, behaves as conspicuously as the dumbest TUEEE MC who just got thrown into a different world and has no understanding of his powers (which she is actually supposed to have according to the story). And later, when she performs even more unbelievable feats, she actually starts telling people about them in detail rather than keeping things vague or downplaying her involvement as one would normally do if one tried to travel incognito.

[collapse]

In conclusion, I'm not dropping this yet, but the execution of what could have been very interesting is quite disappointing after all. <<less

This would be a great novel if the author didn't constantly f*cking disappoint you. At some point, I even found myself giving my screen the middle finger because of how generic the story became. It baits you with some good writing then kicks you down with s*upid shit. For example,

WHY IS THE PROTAGONIST STILL NICE AFTER BECOMING THE EVIL GOD!!!!!!!

Here are the things I hate about this story, in order of how much I hate it:

  1. Akane doesn't eat people,
  2. Akane is too humble
  3. People around Akane compliment her on her looks but she has yet to take them seriously, even from her childhood.
  4. Akane doesn't trespass to get to places
  5. The author tells the reader there's a way for Akane to get sh*t done faster but then finds reasons for her to take her time, most of which is just "because it would alert the enemy". BTW that doesn't make any sense because

Okay, to be honest, I don't want to take this review too seriously. This novel, while unique, lacks substance. Just like how I don't want to take this review too seriously, this story doesn't take itself all too seriously either. The MC's sudden strength gain by exploiting a situational skill and becoming s*upid OP is good, dragging every other charcter (who, for better or worse, are shallow yet likable) through the gauntlet of stat boosting is great. But what I absolutely dislike about the story is how the world became... more>> what it did. I won't go into much, but the Gods are a testament of s*upidity. Once you get past that part it's ehh, I'd say it's alright.

I got some enjoyment out of it, but you might not. So take my word with a grain of salt. <<less

Okay, first review ^^

So far, the story is well paced. Plot isn't really quick but don't take centuries to evolve. The MC is interesting and the side characters too.

It's not a revolution of the Isekai genre but it's clearly better than your average isekai. Also, although it don't bother me, there isn't ecchi or harem (or I don't remember it lol)

The story is sometimes incoherent (or it's me that didn't understood since english isn't my main language) ... more>>
Spoiler

MC rains down a meteor shower and is dead tired after. Ok but she has 19millions of mp and the other heroes, that have top notch stats and have only 2400 mp at best. The spell is said to need a ritual with around a hundred magicians (if my memory serves me right). 2400*100=240 000mp. She can cast this spell around 80 times in a row before running out of mana and yet she is tired because she had to control the spell in order to not smash the city into little crumbles. Nani?

Well, aside from this point, I enjoyed the read quite a lot and found myself refreshing sad hoovy's translation page 3-4 times a day while looking forward to the next chapter ^^'. <<less

Story's quite good but he translation is a bit of a mess, like Lich sometimes become Rich/Litch.

While that translation is fine, what I hate is that locked chapters are posted in this site, like, you can just not post it if it's locked. This is the first time I saw a translation group that posts locked chapters in NU.

I have some mixed views on this because, its original but at some points its really generic.

what I mean is sometimes it has ideas that I found new, but then it goes to cliche JP otherworlds style such as the MC is worrying too much about standing out, being a bother, or how there is the idea that nobles are all evil people, and sometimes there are just unexplained helpful coincidences.

but other then those times its explores and expands the ideas of an OP demigod protagonist.
