How do you kill a villain that is better than you in every aspect?

According to Bu Bai, there is only one step: Make him fall in love with you.

But, what he had never thought about was that there was still another step: Letting yourself fall in love with him.

Bu Bai: “I came to kill you.”

Villain: “I came because I love you.”

I was honestly worried reading the avarage rating and some of the reviews, then I understood that the people who gave a low rating shouldn't have read the book in the first place. Don't like don't read - it's a very simple principle.

Yes, it is a messed up story: that's the whole point. The main pairing is MC/Villain, did you expect rainbow and sunshines? The title is self explanatory of what happens...

Now, the book is not without its flaws: the first chapters are really confusing and the end is the... more>> least satisfying element of the book (which is why I gave 4 stars and not 5)

But the middle? The middle is fantastic. We have 3 story arcs (+ the ending) which are a delight on their own.
If you like angst and complex dynamics (including the Protagonist loving MC in every world as well -a strangely well done love triangle.) you will like this story. <<less

Such a sweet, heart aching story. There's lots of misunderstanding at first, but eventually the guy realizes who he really loves. I also thought the arcs were interesting, if also a bit unsatisfying since the main guy keeps failing to recognize his true love. I could see how people might dislike the book because the relationship is a bit complicated and dark - but I do like the timelessness of it.

I thought the ending felt a bit abrupt and slightly confusing (I wasn't sure of the timeline), but all in... more>> all, a nice romance. <<less

Okay so I think the concept of this story is very good, but it can be used better. There are numerous plot holes and characters fall in love with the MC instantly (for those that like this trope I think this is one of the best versions of it I've come across. They actually have reasons for falling in love with him, but it's still instantaneous and extremely strong)

I do not really like the forced love tropes and it's quite unclear sometimes whether two characters actually slept together or... more>> gave consent. The MC is also quite cute but characterless at the same time... which is confusing.

The tragic tag should not be skipped for this one! <<less

My mind at the beginning: ??????????????????

My mind at the end: ????????????????????

This author's writing style... How to describe it... You need to be privy to the author's innermost thoughts to fully understand this novel. For real. I've read the story completely, re-read some parts and browsed the raws, and I still find the plot and characterisation extremely spotty. It's barely understandeable tbh.

Anyway, this was a mess. Read it if you want to hurt your brain or try to solve an extremely difficult riddle.

The angst is written well though.

So I gave this 4/5 because of personal tastes mostly. All in all it wasn't bad and makes a good quick read if your not sure what bl world hopping novel to go to next.

The ending left me feeling kinda weird, but it was overall an okay read.

Angst for the sake of angst & highly confusing story. Not worth reading.

1 extra star because it somehow did manage to make me tear up a bit.

Honestly I’m enjoying quite a bit. I came looking for a quick transmigration novel I could just turn my brain off to and this was pretty good for that. If you want something genuinely thought provoking or nuanced you aren’t gonna find it here.

The arcs are basically the same every time, but I enjoyed the dog blood dramas so I kept reading. The MLs are all pretty basic too, they fall into the possessive yandere type but I didn’t mind it too much cuz the MC was just as cruel... more>> to them. It honestly doesn’t feel like a lot of other qt novels just because of the protagonist. I think he’s a child, and if he’s not he’s just a very child like adult. This is very different considering most qt protagonists tend to be very jaded and unsympathetic, so it’s nice to see someone that does let things get to them. <<less

It's actually good. If youre not looking for deep character developments but appreciate fiercely loyal yandere characters and the concept of world hopping then read this. Its not a good enough story to make you think "this is great!" But it's good enough for you to say "huh, that was actually kinda okay".

The story is confusing because of lack of details especially the last chapter and the first chapters is a bit of a mess. But I really enjoyed reading this because of the emotions conveyed by the characters. Because it's short, a lot of things weren't thoroughly explained and covered which leads to some reader's dissatisfaction.

There are 3 arcs in total and the ending. I must say, even if every story is really illogical and a lot of loopholes, I think it's still enjoyable depending on your taste and endurance haha.... more>> I like the 2nd arc the most.

Spoiler

Don't worry, it's HE.

Yup, recommended. <<less

Ok, so, first of, I really feel like the tragedy genre should be in here. I couldn't really find the romance of it at all, as it felt more guilt-trippy/stalkholm syndrome than anything. The novel essentially breaks into three arcs, but in my personal opinion, the amount of chapters made all three feel a bit rushed.

Kinda illogical? A bit random? Not that realistic?

But the feeling of angst are the whole point, and that's there, so I guess we're good. Read it if you want to feel angst, not to find high quality plot and character development.

A good story and the starting arc hooked me up till the end. I wish the author made it longer. Even though I don't want to say much about arc 3, I liked other arcs.

I think the ending is a bit rushed and I had to spend some time to understand it. In general, I would give four stars to it but I liked MC so much, so 5 stars from me.

I have no clue how this relationship is going to end up, MC has to kill the villain who is in love with him. This is a task given by the system.

The Mc's a little kid but system changed his body into an adult. Though he still lowkey has the mindset of a child.

This story contains immortals that create systems and gives them tasks to give to their hosts.
