The prologue was interesting and funny, but that's it. I don't know about others, but I don't find this that entertaining or funny. The FL is dense, hot tempered, and has a very low EQ while the ML is smart, calm, but s*upid in a way that he just lets the FL misunderstood him all these years. It's really not my cup of tea. I like lighthearted story as well as fast-paced ones, but despite this story being both, I find it a little boring. Maybe it's because of the... more>> way the romance progressed. It's a pity, they were childhood sweethearts then for some reasons, they became "enemies", or at least that's what the FL thought. It could've been a sweet story but it's a pity that the author made a plot twist.

The FL doesn't have any female friends because of her tomboyish nature then suddenly, there was a girl who befriended her. But on the FL's birthday, the ML found out that the girl was just using the FL to approach the ML, so the latter told the girl that she and the FL are not compatible as friends. Then the FL only heard the ML saying that they aren't compatible. Without asking what the ML means by that, she just decided that they'll be enemies from then on. I think it's s*upid, isn't it.

So that's how their sweet childhood turned awful. I really don't like that one. I think the story will be better if they continued being childhood sweethearts since the way they turned into enemies was just because the FL misunderstood the ML, and the ML didn't explain. And what I hate the most in a story? Misunderstandings that caused the leads to part. There's a lot of times where the ML did something for the good of the FL, but he was misunderstood, and he didn't explain. Also, the ML was big hearted. HE was threatened by that btch Chen Wei but then they're still friends when they grow up. If it was me, I'll hold a grudge. Anyway, be it the ML or FL, I don't like them that much.

As for the plot, there's nothing much. It's just the romance is a little annoying. It's the kind of I-run-away-you-chase-me type of romance with a super low EQ FL and a black bellied ML. I swear, if the story started when they're just kids, it could've been more interesting because the ML was a black bellied kid who portrayed himself as weak and easy to bully in front of the FL. Also, there are two translations. One with the FL's name as Gu Jing and one with the FL's name as Jia Shao. The former translation is the main translation used (based on the synopsis) ; however, I can see that the latter translation was more detailed than the former. Anyway, although the translation used isn't as detailed as the other, it's not bad. But personally speaking, I think the one (translated by CatMeme6) was better, the words used were also deeper. And I kinda made a comparison, the chapters in the latter's translation are longer (plus those ambiguous scenes was more detailed). Tbh, I'm kinda regretful that the version I read wasn't CAtMeme6's translation. I don't want to reread this again though.

Overall, maybe it's not just my cup of tea so I don't find it that entertaining or sweet. Nevertheless, it's not bad. It's 6/10 for me. <<less

: Even if the guy loves her to death, I really don't like the way he manipulates (maybe too Harsh of a word, but still, it applies) her into relationship. The female lead is strong, but apparently not as strong as the guy even though she trained more than him and he is a doctor. She is not dumb-fumb, but a different kind of dumb.

I really want to control my irritation at many points in the story

I always love a childhood sweetheart story like this one. ML was a black belly while FL had a fiery temperament with a soft heart. FL always saw ML as her enemy while ML amused by her attempt to make his life hard.

She had her reason to hate ML. She thought that ML made her lose her friend in the past but the fact was, the said friend only approached her to get close to ML and ML, who knew about it, didn't allow that friend to approach the innocent FL anymore.

FL also thought that he destroyed her chance to take a part in taekwondo competition but ML worried about her old injury because she was always reckless about her health.

FL didn't know any of that so she hated ML for years. ML also didn't defend himself and let FL acted like a jumping monkey in front of him.

You could basically guess the rest of the story because the plot was quite generic. But it's enjoyable to read especially when you wanted to read something light and sweet to pass the time. <<less

Crazy. Funny. Cute.

This novel got me laughing to the point that my parents started to look at me funny.

I LOVED IT!!!!!! ❤❤❤ I can't emphasize how much I loved this story. So rather than me writing paragraphs upon paragraphs about how much I loved this novel, it be better if you just read it. Trust me, you won't regret it.

EXACTLY, my cup of sweet sweet tea (with a crazy sour hint of comedy).

So funny and sweet! A good laugh from start to end. Love both the FL and ML, truly opposite attracts and complement well.

Just finished.

I love it!! ML was already in love with FL since they were kids.

A slight misunderstanding made the FL "hate" and be competitive with ML,

but ML was steadfast in his love.

The chemistry was firecrackers.
