Description

Links are NOT allowed. Format your description nicely so people can easily read them. Please use proper spacing and paragraphs.

On what basis is a golden finger or a new life necessary once you transmigrate? On what basis should a transmigrated cannon fodder definitely counterattack?

Is peacefully staying as a cannon fodder too much to ask for? Why come out and wreck everything? Slags….. The Male Lead is dead because of you, the world is even collapsing, okay?!

In order to earn Points, every time she enters a new world, Xia Liang expresses that she completes her missions very seriously, face slapping those secondary female characters who wish to counterattack, setting order to all the chaos, restoring the plot, and avoiding the collapse of the worlds.

As for why the Male Leads all fell in love with me, that was actually an accident. Em, it’s just, aren’t these accidents a little bit too many…

Years ago, I ignored this novel because my innate sense told me it wouldn't be good.

i came back to it because boredom was holding me hostage. But even in some cases, I can choose to face boredom instead.

i skipped a couple of arcs, especially the apocalypse arc.

... more>> I'm a romance addict but this novel has me wondering whether I was innately a hater. Because why do their interactions become annoying.

I'm the kind of person that likes easy and uninterrupted love paths but this one just hit in a bad kind of way.

okay, the system literally disappears or creates unnecessary drama by not telling the FL the plot or something.

Not only that, the ML is already possessively in love with the fl. We don't get to see them fall in love get small misunderstandings that lead to jealousy and are easily solved. Even if they exist, they are solved the day they meet. And not because of some magical exchange of emotions that helps them understand each other better. No.

it just, "oh you're the ML and I'm the fl. We must be together." Problem solved.

I've never wanted any main characters to exhibit a bit of distance with each other but with these ones...

and what is this s*x mania? And needing to smell each other or otherwise be mental and lethargic. The characters are two dimensional.

If you have sense, don't waste your time. I don't even have the energy to scold it because it was just that bad.

but let's talk about a particular arc "bamboo horse run faster" or something like that.

(all the arcs, including the book itself, are poorly named. You're going to have titles like "powerful regent, please let me go" then see the FL literally throw herself at the ML and refuse to leave. There's also "who raised whom?" And you see that the ML completely raised the FL yet the y keep claiming she doesn't need them. It's like every arc had a good idea but the author spoils it and gets the characters together too early and there are no struggles or emotional tags that make you want to continue the story.)

Btw, as you read, you'll notice that progressively, there is no plot of the original world and even the system disappears because well, now it's just about the FL finding the ML and then acting like she will die is she doesn't see him for a second.

Spoiler

anyway, Abi the bamboo arc. When I read the title of the arc, I expected that maybe there was a childhood sweetheart who forgot the other or left when young or something. And that actually happened in the plot but the way it happened was just irritating.

There was also something - forget it, I've lost the energy to say anything about the novel.

[collapse]

30 minutes later.

i have gained some more energy.

My point is that the moral stand point of this book is somewhat off.

honestly some of the villains portrayed in the novel have reasonable reasons for doing what they did.

arc 1;

the villainess had every right to revenge. What? Was she supposed to freely love the man that brought her entire family to their graves?

and yes, she had every right to have multiple lovers. As long as they were with her willingly. Not only that, she was with those lovers after she was with the ML and there was no mention of him asking her to be monogamous.

i don't support the fact that she mu*dered him but I also don't support that fact that he mu*dered her entire family.

it was a war between them, it's always going to be fair.

arc (bamboo horse)

now I don't support cheating. But looking at the times, the villainess had a right to leave.

it was a time where one had to be educated to get a good job and most of all, they had to be male.

it was a time when women had to heavily depend on men for survival.

so this woman's husband gets into an accident and can't work and is struggling to support the both of them.

i don't agree with how she treated him. But given the times, I can imagine her struggle.

She could either remain with a man who loved her but could barely afford what to eat. Or she could find someone who promised to provide for her.

Again, I can think of some other ways she could have survived but I still understand her point of view.

the fact that she was dragged out as the most evil person in the plot is just amazing. Like what about the married man with whom she cheated? She was the only one that was beaten and embarrassed.

am I supposed to support that? The only reason as to why the man wasn't beaten was because of how the world viewed men as the sole providers.

I don't want to say much about it. The book was just annoying.

Monogamy is okay.
polyandry is also okay. <<less

At first it seemed good but it went down hill real quick. The author loves to 'tell' rather than 'show', rushes relationship, character and plot development to the point where it feels forced and silly, and managed to make me dislike the seemingly decent characters in only 43 chapters. What a record. (For real though why does so much important stuff get skipped over or happen off screen in this novel)

MC starts off as a cold and indifferent, but also honest person who is focused on getting points from... more>> her missions and doesn't like being touched by others. The idea is that over time she will slowly learn to love. Great idea, love her personality so far, made for some funny and cute moments. Then suddenly about 40 chapters in her whole personality does a complete 180 degree u-turn off-screen with no explanation. It wasn't earned at all. They were just like BAM now this likeable but cold beauty is suddenly an annoying, blushing maiden who lets the ML do whatever.

At first, ML a bit 2D and cliche but still very likeable, and my expectations weren't that high for a face-slapping QT novel. The relationship between the ML and MC from chapter 1 was already shallow and unearned. He becomes immediately infatuated with her in the first few chapters with no rhyme or reason despite the chemistry between them only barely existing. The author really didn't give them anytime to develop feelings, but their interactions were fun and cute so I wasn't too bothered. Then arc 2 starts and all the issues in arc 1 are magnified by 500%. Initially, his teasing seems cute and affectionate, but soon I was like "are you sure you love the MC? Are the reader really supposed to ship this sketchy relationship?" The speed at which the ML successfully manipulates and pressures the MC into sleeping with him by the end of arc 2 is awful. This novel is hundreds of chapters long, so why is their "romance" and "character development" passing by at the speed of light? Where do these feelings come from? Why do these two people suddenly care about each other? Why did the MC basically become a different person?

Honestly they are so many other face-slapping quick transmigration novels that do this way better in my opinion. I recommend Quick Transmigration: Heroine Arrives, Woman Rapidly Retreats. <<less

Start off good. Then just become a cheesy cringy romance in later chap rather than focus on the storyline...

Not enough to keep me hooked to the end.

I'm not gonna rate it yet cause I'm just at the first volume but the mc's kinda s*upid.... Like the way she think is s*upid. If not because of plot Armor, system and she knows what's gonna happen I guarantee she's gonna fail at her missions.

I'm on the first arc and already can't continue bc of the problems in this novel!! Let's review the plot and her mission -- so basically ML is this general who destroyed the country of second FL, so in return she seduced him, became a queen and let him willingly betray his country and restore hers for her love.

And she's somehow the one in the wrong and needs to be overturned? The author was all 'oh she just didn't want to lose her wealth' in a she's-so-money-minded tone, but it... more>> doesn't change the fact that he destroyed her country and annihilated her people!! Is it not fair game for her to take revenge by killing him?? In fact, she's morally obliged to do so. If she really treated him wholeheartedly there would be problems with her morals. Then the author proceeded to try to slutshame by detailing how after she poisoned ML, she spent the rest of her life raising pretty boys. Ok, so what? Good for her. Are readers supposed to be like 'eww what a loose woman'? This is the 21st century.

MC's mission tasks then turned out to be: 1. Slap the face of Sun Mei, let the plot return to the normal track, to avoid the collapse of the world.
2. Save the man and let his happiness level reach 90%. Since I've addressed the first line, how about the second task? Why does ML deserve happiness, wtf??

The second FL didn't hold a knife to his throat or force him to betray his country, he did all that willingly bc he 'lacked love' apparently and couldn't wait to betray all his countrymen just for her affection. Isn't that fundamentally a problem with him? Sorry, I don't find it romantic or touching that he would condemn his own goddamn country bc of reasons like 'aww he was unloved as a child he had no choice he just loved her so much: ( (('. He was tricked by her, that's his incompetence as a supposed general; he betrayed his people, that's his moral failings as a person. Btw she didn't even make moves on his country, she just wanted to restore her own and kill him. It was after he died that he felt so resentful he destroyed everything in the world. He's just a scum in the end. You're telling me he's out there slaughtering people with no issues but should be forgiven bc he wasn't loved by his parents as a child? Give me a break. Really reeks of misogyny where a man's failings are blamed completely on a woman for enchanting him like they're goddamn deities that should be held to the sky, morally superior if not for being tainted by the demoness who misled him with her evil tricks. He's disgusting to the core. <<less

Spoiler

Tbh at the first arc I was bothered by the fact that she ruthlessly left the ML ON THEIR WEDDING DAY without feeling any guilt or anything at all, with nothing but points in her mind. But it would slowly make sense because it shows that she really has an indifferent character. I also saw some comments at the beginning saying that she either has low EQ or IQ despite being introduced as a smart one but I actually don't agree with that. While it is true that she does have pretty low EQ mostly at the beginning, she's a pretty smart protagonist. She does have some parts where she's clueless but the ML would be the one doing the thinking at that part so it still would work in the end. Then as the story goes there were also some that said that she's changing and some were bothered by it. But it my opinion it seems that its an intended plot by the author. Because if you think about it, the system even has a bar for her (FL's) transformation which would increase every time she had a change of heart. So at the start she's definitely heartless, there's no denying that as it was obviously portrayed but as the story continues, her coldness were slowly melted away by the ML. And another thing I've noticed, even the ML keeps on changing attitudes. While it could be that he has different personalities from the beginning from each of his past lives as he don't have any memory of it, he really started of as a bit of an a**hole. Gotta admit, I was kind of worrying about him at the first arc because while he wasn't the worst ML, it feels like he has potential to be much worse ya'kno. But again, as the story goes on, I realized that both of their personalities were probably intended. The FL starting off with her cold-hearted self then slowly showing emotions while the ML starting off with selfishness and bad temperament but slowly changes with a rather calm and soft mindset. Though of course the thing that wouldn't change about the ML is his possessiveness as well as his horniness LMAO THERE'S NO DETAILED SNUSNU THO just a bit of touch and teasing and entering kind of narrative but not so detailed to be labelled as smut ya'kno.

[collapse]

ANYWAYS, I feel sad now that there's no one so far that's going to pick this up. This is really interesting in my opinion! Watching both of them changing for the better (or worst? Hehe) but nonetheless doing everything together on different timelines. I HOPE SOMEONE WOULD PICK THIS UP! 🤧👌💯💕 <<less

After reading 1000+ chapters, I no longer remember anything about the significance of the second female lead. I don't see why the title is "face slapping the second female lead." If you like a stoic main character who's a blank page when it comes to love, then give this one a try! MC goes through character development for every arc. See spoiler below if you want to know what I mean by her character development. Meanwhile, read the last spoiler if you want to know why the other reviews (mainly... more>> those who only read less than 50 chapters) are so wrong with regards to MC.
Spoiler

In chapter 234, she learns about the feeling called anxiety. It's so pure because she feels anxious that what if one day ML disappears. This is what I mean by gradual character development. She has obviously been with ML for several arcs already, but it's only at this point when she understands the feeling of anxiety. In the following arc, she finally understands how to say comforting words to the elderly. In the arc from c355 to c395, MC fully comprehends the emotion of love. It's such a sweet arc; our MC is so in love and so adorable, you can really see the development in her character.

[collapse]
The romance is full of fluff, ML is hopelessly in love with MC for every arc and it's very easy for MC to develop a romantic relationship with him. As the story progresses MC's love grows up to the point of sweet obsession - she's a little yandere who pampers her ML to the extreme. This is a no-brainer novel so you'll surely enjoy this if you are just looking for a novel to cheer you up.

Mtl is easy to read just search the title written in Chinese characters and let google translate do its job! I actually skipped some arcs where I don't like the setup (e.g. Orgs, vampires, ghosts) but the key thing here is to always read the ending chapters of the arc and read the transition between worlds. Major plot details are found in those transition chapters. Plot spoiler about the worlds:
Spoiler

This is actually a system vs MC & ML plot. However, MC's system is actually beneficial for them. The reason why MC and ML go world hopping is because MC needs to save ML from the system. The worlds/planes they go into has fragments of ML and the whole thing actually serves as a cage for ML. MC going through each world/plane and living together with ML until old age helps ML become complete because the fragments are being collected in that way. It has a happy and cheesy ending.

[collapse]

Plot spoiler about MC:
Spoiler

MC is a being created by ML. One of the reasons why MC goes world hopping is so she can learn human emotions because ML can't really input or program emotions in her. It's so she can grow up. ML once used the term 'robot' to explain MC's creation. It can be said that she's similar to a robot, but she's not really a robot. Others don't like how MC suddenly becomes lively and different from her original character setup. However, there's an arc where MC regained her cold untouchable personality and that was when ML left her (he lived in the city, she stayed in the rural area). That arc basically explained how MC can become bubbly when ML's with her. ML is the heat that thaws her ice cold heart. Without ML, her heart returns to dark winter devoid of care of the world.

NOTE: Do not expect to read plot twists within the first 50 chapters of a freaking 1023-chapter novel. <<less

DOG FOOD EVERYWHEREEEE AHHHH THANK GOD IM NOT A SINGLE DOG LOLOLOLOL

At first, you'd get annoyed by how unfeeling the FL is and would feel bad for the deceived ML (especially after knowing what happened after the first arc :<). For the next arcs, you'd see the FL grow emotions little by little because she unknowingly lowered her guard towards the ML even from the first arc. The ML was able to slowly influence her and break that ice-cold self of hers. Of course, once the FL fell for the... more>> ML, she fell hard to the point of paranoid possessiveness and obsession. She started not caring about the points and the mission and solely focuses on seducing the ML in every world lol. Just when I thought that was her final development, she later gains empathy towards the people around her in every world and her love towards the male lead became healthier and more genuine.

Props for the ML for being patient in making the FL fall for him even if he does get hurt in the process. The ML is a huge pe*vert lmao that's why the FL became an old driver when it comes to bed matters. I really like how the ML was consistent and he stayed true to FL until the end.

Each arc was only around 30-40 chapters and the whole novel is only 1024 chapters which makes it relatively shorter than other quick transmigration novels. It does deal a lot with the usual arc cliches and tropes and sometimes make fun of them. Most of the time, the arc isn't plot-centric and usually only focuses on the FL and ML (blame the FL for only seeing the ML lol). No love triangles but there is indeed an antagonist and the antagonist's sidekick (that I hate).

It all ended in a happy ending! (YAY!) It's very similar to Villain Husband QT but in the end I still prefer Villain Husband QT lol.

Recommend 9/10! <<less

I don't know. This novel is mediocre. Love it that there is no drama but I don't feel the fluff either. The chemistry between the main characters is bland to me as well. Sigh

I'm expecting something like Su Yan and Jun Yu chemistry from The Blackened Male God Always Wants To Set A Routine For Me, because eventhough the novel lacking drama and even misunderstandings but I don't feel boring by their interactions at all. Maybe because the official translations between the two is different? I mean, flying lines translations... more>> make me feel like I'm reading MTL version with better grammar.

I'm at the fourth arc tho. I don't know if my reviews count or give justice to the novel at all. But I read the other reviews said that MC will have a character development as well. Speaking of which, it was said that MC is someone with high IQ and low EQ but I don't think she's smarter than any of the side characters...? She literally average with her IQ. In third arc, I'm hoping to see her out smart ML but she didn't do anything beside being cute beside him 😅

I'm really hoping to read something similar to Su Yan's QT story... (◞‸◟;)

Edit: So..... ISOHUNGRYTRANSLATIONS taking over this novel as translator..... (〃▽〃) I'm counting on you translator-laosi! Your team literally my favorite translator ❤️ <<less

To be honest, I really dont know how to feel about this.

Im at chapter 280, and as of the moment my comment would be:
Spoiler

Arc 1 - System is annoying. Maybe plot would improved.

Arc 2 - Story becomes more vague as to what the plot really is.

Arc 3 onwards - Okay so no more structure on her missions here. It just becames fluff with ML ?

Dont like ML, he's useless.

My only consolation is MC being so straightforward that its so funny. ??

Oh I really love the MC. She's strong, she's fierce, she's cold, she's crazy. It like a tornado wrapped in a package. And she doesnt need saving. She'll do it all on her own, while saving ML on the way.

So, so far theres nothing note worthy here. But its a good read to pass time.

Also, it shouldnt be titled:

Quick Transmigration: Face Slapping The Second Female Lead

But rather

Quick Transmigration: Save the Male Lead

[collapse]
I am still at arc 8, but yeah. We'll see how the other arcs go.
As I said, good read to pass time ?

___________Update:

So im at 607 now and it seems,

Spoiler

Its definitely not

Face Slapping The Second Female Lead

Rather it was "Making MC more human like" type of QT ?

Grew tired of it as arcs goes on. 2☆

I was excited to read more after the first arc, 'maybe it will gradually improve.' I thought. Who knows it would just get worse. It is too cringey for me. It can hold the reputation of 'romance fiction' well. Very, 100%, fictional. The way the FL is too much of a romance idiot is just TOO impossible. As if she was a shut-in all her life, never do anything except reading educational textbooks about machines. And the translations.. I hope it will improve. Maybe by then everyone can enjoy reading... more>> it. Also, Im not sure if it is the work of the translator or the author herself but--Imagine, someone were stabbed. I regret reading this. Especially the Final chapter.

The main story and their goal (final chapter)

Spoiler

ML and MC are essentially robots created by the main supercomputer they call the Creator God. MC is dead and supposed to be sent to recycling. ML saved her life by giving some of his "energy" which angers the God. And their goal in the final chapter is to teach other robots about emotions (especially love).

[collapse]

Review:

  1. Plot: Quick Transmigration with a cold beauty MC and her system. MC meets and falls in love with ML. They complete her mission. Repeat.
  2. Characters: MC and ML are Our main characters. There are arcs that I am uncomfortable reading (father (?) -daughter, uncle and neice-in-law). MC was cold in the first 2 arcs. Then she became a yandere. She was more obsessed with finding and falling in love with ML than completing her tasks. Which gives me the illusion that it didn't matter if she failed her mission. In some arcs, ML took care of MC's mission for her. So her motivation felt lacking.
Anyway, MC turns from an Ice beauty to an beautiful obsessed nymphomaniac.

Two first acts were enough to prove that this story wasn't written for me. I really dislike ML's instalove, even if in second world it could've been explained by him having some vague memories of his first life. Still, I'm very much dissatisfied with this kind of relationship development especially in Romantic stories where the process of heroes getting together is the central theme of the plot. I prefer lengthy pining and flirting and getting to know each other slowly rather than this kind of abrupt 'Hey, I just met... more>> you and this is crazy, but I'm willing to destroy the whole world by you (no exaggeration), so marry me maybe'.

It's a story for those who like reading about heroine hugging hero's golden thigh and breezing through the plot by his excessive pampering and absolute indulgence. Tbh, I do like the 'wifes*ave' trope, but I really need some deep reasoning behind such boundless coddling. But if you're into this plus some 'cold and emotionless FL learns how to love traveling through the worlds, ' I think you would be very happy to read this story. <<less

It's good! But in most of the QTs I read, I'm really reading for the romance, and this, the first three or four arcs were a little lacking on it since the MC is really cold lmao. She has no memories and she really operates like a robot. She only realizes her feelings of love for the ML at the end of the fourth arc. After that, its mostly her chasing after the ML on the next arcs while (lmao) ignoring the tasks of the system. She still does it... more>> but now she thinks its a bother.

Its funny how she is so straightforward, no sense of subtlety at all (after all she was cold and robot like at the beginning) and how sometimes the ML if he was drinking water would spit it out in shock of what she was saying. (It's nice though, no misunderstandings at all) It's a process though, so after a few more arcs of that straightforwardness, she starts to court the man with subtlety.

I think that so far, my favorite arc would be the world where the emperor is a woman,
Spoiler

where the ML was crossdressingand the MC is a general. So it's here where the female is the superior gender and so it was so funny how demure and tsundere the ML was and how the MC has to keep her cold and emotionless facade while also spouting some very outrageous things just to get the ML flustered. And the end where the ML soul appeared briefly just to punish the MC for making fun of him all their life. So cute

Story of each arc is quite light and about 20+ chapters. The fourth arc seems to be much longer so I am currently putting this in my shelve.

Xia Liang is an interesting character for sure, but whenever she and ML together, I would feel they both go out of character. ML is a pervy yandere so sometimes I just had to cringe laugh while reading. I personally think this novel would be elevated if the author write the smut instead of only half teasing here and there.

Each arc is pretty... more>> interesting, but the world building is not very strong, to the point that in arc 3 I don't even know the era until few chapters in.

Spoiler

Where they whip out the CCTV recording in what I thought was ancient China lmao

[collapse]

Definitely depends on yourself on how you want to fill up the details, and better if you have read a lot of Chinese novels since no background will be explained deeply here. Considering each arc is short, this may be okay but I have seen other QT stories that have more solid world building in about the same amount of chapters. Maybe this will change in arc 4 since it will be much longer?

Translation for the first chapter was so rough Google translate was better (cold cold -- Liang Liang, the nickname of our FL. Summer cold -- Xia Liang)

I think this is a solid 4/5 so far. Would be better if each arc has more depth.

  • I've Transmigrated Into This Movie Before (tragedy)
  • Quick Transmigration Cannon Fodder's Record of Counterattacks (no CP, this one has the most similar vibe as it is also multiple realms like ancient China, modern life, zombie, cultivation, etc)

well it is the best transmigration novel I've encountered. How Xia Liang transformed from someone who is without feelings to knowing what it is like to be love. MTL the whole novel and fortunately it didn't fry my vrai. Really recommend it 💕💕💕
