Like everyone else said, this is pretty good. 28-29 year old woman => 16-17th century China => 8 year old girl => impoverished rural family in a normal town => evil greedy granny and aunt => magic rock that produces panacea water => cooking knowledge => mary sue levels of success => Hopefully more tech innovation as I read on

Although you do have to suspend your disbelief and knowledge about the past for a lot of the plot devices: the economy & pricing, the random effectiveness of cuisine, the contradictory... more>> presentation on rural poverty and modern wastefulness (pretty sure when people have endured eating grass and tree bark, there'll be established famine cuisine, which would take away the 'Wow' factor of her offal cuisine), mary sue, and so on. Think of this story as a badly written sitcom, where the writers don't do much research and don't really care too much about plot continuity as far as character motivations go. It's still a good show...

But you know... don't think too much about it. Like most webnovels, it's not that kind of read. Going with the flow is more fun until you reach the end. Then you can rag on it in retrospect.

[Update] I got to 199 and couldn't take it anymore. All other points aside, this novel commits the cardinal sin of any piece of entertainment: It got boring.

+ Quality TL

+ Realistic world

+ Gives a genuine glimpse into ancient hardships

... more>> + Capitalism ho!

+ Food focus without having to describe its deliciousness over multiple chapters

- You can't be both "a little money-grubber" and someone who thinks "there are more important things than money"

- Wish fulfillment: Every "good" male is handsome, a foodie and useless without a woman around (also either a daughter-con or hen-pecked and loving his wife)

- Besides the MIL and SIL duo everyone else is without blemish

- No real tragedy, everything is seen through rose-tinted glasses

- They forgot about the oldest brother and left him to suffer and rot whilst they made business

- The "golden finger" is annoying and the story could do without it. It is also forgotten often

- The MC doesn't use her advantages properly (golden finger, connections, money)

- No time progression, everything happens when the MC is 8/9 years old

This is written really well and properly gives a picture of how living in a village in ancient times might have been, with starvation in the winter and having to suffer from their powerlessness, but it never moves beyond village affairs. The MC could already be living a good life with her family, but instead goes around the most s*upid ways possible. She has a "golden finger" and meets the most important peoplebut doesn't mange to utilize them in a satisfying way.

Nevertheless, the village affairs are written to a godly level, with a good understanding how small-minded and petty people can be. I really wish the author would take this to the next level, but so far there is nothing happening. This is still a worthwhile read, but more the "chicken soup for the soul" kind. Nothing really tragic ever happens.

4* worth a read, but doesn't go the full way. <<less

I started this novel because I saw the recommendation somewhere and the reviews here are very good. I also love the cooking theme which is the strongest reason why I decided to give it a try. While overall I am enjoying this novel, there are certain part where I just can't enjoy it.

Spoiler

At first it was quite torturous to read through all the abuse they received from their step grandmother. Her dad was described to love his wife and children dearly but he let them get bullied by his step mother for more than 10 years. Foolishly filial that it even endanger his children's and wife's life.

Her cheat at first didn't seems that OP but over the time the OPness keep increasing that they keep escaping death successfully all the time. She's also heavily relying on her cheat. While she's indeed very skilful at cooking, she gets to cheat her way to always successfully manage to farm all the plants.

While it has been implied many times that she is a child with a mental of 30 years old lady, she doesn't really act one. She's very reckless in her action. While I do understand about her not following "men and women shouldn't be too close" stuff, I don't know if it's just me but shouldn't she be more careful with her conduct in front people with higher status? I just can't accept how she's just so careless with her words around nobles and they could just dismissed and forget her "rude" actions. Eventho the emperor emeretus (a transmigrator) once gave her a lesson bout it but she doesn't seems to learn any anyways.

As previously stated before, she kept escaping death and dangerous situation with the help of divine stone that she's now currently seems to believe that she can just face anything. She has become so careless that it is painful to read sometimes. Eg. During shark hunting arc she just decided to go ahead and meet sharks. And currently just because she believe she could be helpful (which yeah, she did, kinda), she secretly followed her father and the young royal prince and co. Go out hunting for ferocious beast.

By now I believe everyone in that world is a foodie.

Sorry that this has become a rant instead ? The translator on the other hand is doing an amazing job. <<less

So far so good~! I am enjoying how the story is progressing so far. But as much as I enjoy it, there are some things that have been bugging me as I've read.

1.

Spoiler

Minor Tantalizing Villains That's Won't Die. The fact that Madam Zheng (I don't remember the step mother's name...) and Madam Li are a common occurrence that continuously pop up and annoy the MC and her family. I understand that they're family and all and it's for a more realistic pov but nothing so far has been done to mitigate their existence.

[collapse]

2.

Spoiler

Typical Mary Sue... yes, it's kind of bothersome to see how many will just fall in love with the MC (at times) with no rhyme or reason. I get good impression but it's not just good impression she attained—she basically gets them as a whole on her 'side'. They'll ferociously defend her and is unable to see her faults at time.

[collapse]

3.

Spoiler

The MC. It's written that her mental age is thirty something but she doesn't even act like an adult and more of a teenager who's about to hit their twenties/ or is in their early twenties. She's not bad, but it can be irksome at certain point when you're reading and you see her Mary Sue act.

[collapse]

4.

Spoiler

MC's view. She's came from modern China (another timeline) and she's was sent to a more feudal time. Although it's not 100% Ancient China (due to the other transmigraters) the people still adhere to some of the orthodox ways of thinking. The MC's lack of comprehension (at times) can be very annoying. Yes, she's from a more modern time—where it's more open minded—but she's also a thirty something year old lady and fails to read the situation before saying anything. She often pushes her way of thinking and doesn't realize that she could get into a lot of trouble despite it being more lax than it had been in her timeline.

[collapse]

Thankfully the story so far is light and not dark other wise bodies would have been dropping in the novel. Quite frankly it was frustrating to read when the MC's intelligence falls low, thus I skimmed a lot when it came to those points.

5.

Spoiler

The number of gluttons... It was funny at first, then it turned to boring... The amount of time the same plot is spun makes it boorish and flat. She cooks something that isn't known within this time period: she gets attention, people like her, they praise her, she gets money from it, she draws in even more attention and goodwill. There's no 'treasuring a jade ring becomes a crime' when it comes to her.

[collapse]

6.

Spoiler

'The Love Interests'. There isn't any but just seeing those who 'fall' for her pile up is... aggravating to read. It's very spurious. There is still the mentality where 'females shouldn't be so close with males'. It doesn't click in with the MC though (her modern mindset I guess... and lack of understanding the difference between then and now, other than when she's cooking and seeing which dishes aren't available currently). Truthfully, if it was from another person's POV, she would seem like a temptress, 'messing' with so many people of the opposite s*x. (She's only 8-9 currently but at the rate the plot is repeated with people falling for her, it looks like it'll still be used in the later chapters as well.)

[collapse]

Its an enjoyable read but that doesn't mean that it doesn't come with some cons. Currently at 137, she's still around 8-9 years old so... the story is progressing rather slow. (There's also a lot of repeated plots so... things can get repetitive and boring.)

p.s. there's no love development at all so far and as some of the other's have stated:

Spoiler

It may seem like there'll be a harem with how many guys are attracted to her cooking but she only ends up with the ML (the kid they saved from the shipwreck). If you're going to read for romance... probably wait until they get to the 200s for the chapters.

Out of all the "transmigrated female POWER" stories out there, and the specific "recipe/farming based" subgenre, I think this is the most fun. It's not perfect, there's definitely a lack of character development and things feel trite at times, but the key point is that this is a fun story, no matter which chapter you flip to.

Yes, some characters are cartoonishly exaggerated in some chapters (or overall), yes the action feels forced, but as a story focused on the MC's developments, it's pretty strong.

I highly recommend people try it out,... more>> and if in 25 chapters you don't think it's your thing, feel free to drop it. <<less

I dropped this a while back due to a racist scene from the author. I think FL went along with calling black people monkeys.... (It was something along that line). I was probably in the 300s-400s if not further?

That was the last straw to me, alongside the usual colourism in these novels and the fact that the FL became increasingly thoughtless in her actions and viewed herself as more than she was? Basically she became mary-sue-like in thought before becoming a true mary-sue. It was so disappointing for a story... more>> that had a strong start. A FL that used to think a bit more about her actions suddenly started doing reckless things just because she had her little spirit cheat... Endangering others by overestimating herself. Tsk <<less

Spoiler

The story starts out well but deteroriates as it goes on.

The MC keeps on using her power for anything and is basically talentless... She does have knowledge in cooking and food processing however even needs the bead's help (her magic power) in order to make it better (which indicates her actual mediocre talent)

The MC's closest family are pretty lovable, hardworking, cute and caring. However, their efforts are useless compared to the MC. MC's lil bro is stated to grow intelligent after drinking MC's magical water. His own efforts are pretty much disregarded.

Up to the chapter I read, all male characters around the age of 10 seems to be interested with MC for her maturity, basically not much difference with the animals MC often happen to find and attract with her bead... MC herself also seems to enjoy looking at their appearance despite actually being 30... which is actually pedophilic and unreasonable due to their age differences. She also seems to enjoy being thought as a deity when people around her is amazed with her luck and knowledge, which makes me unable to understand why others think of her as pure... it's true that she doesn't scheme, but her greediness is over the top. She thinks that others' efforts aren't as important as her knowledge. Her cookings or food are portrayed as the tastiest, however the audience know that its an exaggeration. It is even similar to drugs, as animals who have drank them won't even want to eat anything without it, even if they need to starve.

In addition, she taught her family methods for growing vegies out of season, but actually uses the bead's water (again) to grow them. This makes them having useless knowledge, just imagine if you are told that something is true, however when you try to do it, you failed. This will make them lose confidence and think if sth is wrong with their methods or if they r lied to (which isnt good in a family). Finally they just use MC is a lucky and talented person afterall as a reason.

The MC's power is used in hunting, cooking, taking care of everyone's health, basically everything. Even without having knowledge after being isekai-ed she will definitely be able to thrive the family. The bead once helped her in finding a 500 years gingseng.

It should be known that in that era/area, people are poor and her hoarding food sales actually cause people with similar business to suffer, and I think that they don't actually deserve it... It is mentioned that people at the dock all bought pickled fish from her (that other pickle seller is unable to sell anything). While she does make some condiments business, it should be known that the people hired are unrelated to the people she inadvertantly cause to suffer.

The way that people in this story realizes their own mistakes is only when MC uses the bead to scare them... which also opens up their deepest secret... and that's how the family know that MC's grandmother is killed by step-grandmother... in addition nobody mentioned how MC and his family comes to the house they have seperated with (basically not their house) in the middle of the night... and the step grandma suddenly goes crazy.

The villains in this story have no IQ, and as a typical mary sue character, MC found out their actions very quickly...

If you want a relaxing read, this might not be it for you, the MC's step grandma and first uncles's wife is very very annoying...

However at the same time, you might lose your braincells with how mystical everything are, with no talent, no effort, and how discriminative some aspects are.

Thanks for reading this till the end if u really doㄟ ( ̄▽ ̄ㄟ)

The only thing good about this is the MC making bank and her relationship with her parents, after a certain turning point. Before that turning point, so many times, I wanted to stop reading this novel.

But later on, what made me drop it is the ML and those around him. The romance is so forced, and it’s like the author is trying their very best to make me hate the ML. I get he’s a prince, but first off, the royal family is known for cherishing commoners. What the hell... more>> happened to that? He treats MC and her family like s*aves, picks her vegetables without asking permission as if it’s his own house, orders her to cook him food every damn day, and is really rude to her and her family. What, the author wants MC to be his servant? That’s what it feels like.

Spoiler

Second, I hate the people around him. His mother got angry at MC and her family for ‘putting’ ML in danger when it was ML who forcefully wanted to go hunting, and then shamelessly forces MC to be his temporary maidservant to help him recover. Like, wtf? Then his steward. He cared more about ML’s injured arms than MC’s dad losing his life. I get he’s a royal, but Jesus, author really wanted us to hate ML and everyone around him. So many times throughout that chapter, I just wish her dad got hurt and MC resented him. The painfully forced romance really tested my patience.

[collapse]

Third, it’s not as big as the ones above but her grandmother, eldest uncle’s wife, and her grandfather. God, there’s no redeeming them, but the most annoying was her grandfather. It felt like author were trying to make him good but they failed so hard.

And lastly, they freaking forgot her eldest brother. Something life threatening happens later, but Jesus, I saw that plot coming from a mile away. The author clearly made it so MC’s brother stays at that horrible, abusive place until he’s so close to death so that MC can look better. I felt so sad for him. The whole time they were all happy together and making bank, I was like, “Omfg did she forget she had a brother who’s being abused???”

At this point, a lot of these problems lie with the author, can’t blame MC and all. But man, this had okay potential if the author didn’t drag stuff out and characters weren’t so annoying. <<less

This novel is pretty good if you're looking for a light read that doesn't require too much thinking. Even so, there are some things I just can't ignore. 1. The evil grandmother

Spoiler

At first, the grandma seemed to be the classic cannon fodder villain that will bother the MC at the start of the story and disappear afterwards. But nope! I'm 400 chapters in and the grandma is still there. I keep on thinking that the grandma is finally gone for good after she isn't mentioned once in a few dozen chapters, but she never fails to appear and mildly inconvenience the MC.

The things she's done were really abhorrent, but all the retribution she gets is being a little poorer, having a slightly bad reputation and a divorce. What?!

[collapse]

2. The useless grandfather

Spoiler

Hoarding money to pay for the oldest son's tuition and leaving nothing for the rest of the family, working the father and grandfather to the bone, forcing the sick mother to do all the chores.. It seems like there's nothing the grandpa can't tolerate the grandma doing. Not even the mu*der of his first wife.

The grandpa finally gets a divorce when he almost died due to the grandma's neglect when he was very sick. Now he's being taken care of by his son's family who he basically left for dead in the past. He's forgiven because he feels guilty. How nice.
[collapse]

3. Where is the cat?
Spoiler

The magical cat that appeared at the start of the story has played a huge role in helping MC when she first transmigrated. It was also said that the cat used to be a really powerful being, and helping the MC will let him slowly regain his powers.

Wait.. But where is he now? Not making an appearance in a hundred chapters, it's understandable that people would forget about his existence. I expected a fantasy with supernatural elements, but so far all I've gotten is MC getting increasingly richer and face-slapping baddies.

[collapse]

4. The creepy love interest

Spoiler

What's with the ML? He's crazy, apathetic, bloodthirsty and gets blackouts when he's upset where he'll indiscriminately attack everyone around him. He fell in love with the underage MC because she's the only one whose mind he can't read and can stop him from going insane and destroying everything. How romantic.

ML also keeps doing things like holding her hands and hugging her, which is considered very inappropriate. The MC might be fine with it because she comes from a time where casual touching is normalized, but it's seen differently by the rest of the world. The ML, having grown up with this world's more conservative values, is a pe*vert who lusts after prepubescent girls.

The MC is still too young to marry even by this society's standards. The ML's mother who keeps pressuring the MC to marry the ML as soon as possible isn't helping. The worst thing is that even though MC's family doesn't want her to marry so early, they can't do anything to stop it because they're commoners and the ML's family is nobility.

[collapse]

5. The MC is too OP

Spoiler

Honestly, I knew what I was getting into when I first started reading this, so I can't even complain.

The plot is very straightforward, a single line without any foreshadowing.

Sometimes author clearly forgot the previous scenes or characters details and build another one out of the blue.

A purely Mary-Sue female lead. Pass time reading recommended, not much brain power needed to guess anything.

This story is an absolute gem.I am following the updates of the translators but since the story is so good I MTLed ahead of the chapters; though not that easy since you need concentration to understand the MTL version. LOL

What I really love about this book is their family itself, I love that everyone is working hard for the good of the family. Thanks for the translators for their hard work and everyday releases.

I love this novel so much ughhhh I wanna melt in it. So MC finds herself in a fishing village, way back in the past in the Ming Dynasty born in a sickly 8 year old's body. In her new society, family is very important but sadly she's born with an extremely frugal grandmother who hates her branch of the family, a greedy yet lazy aunt-in-law, and soft-willed blood relatives. She tries to navigate through her new reality and tries to help her immediate family live a better life.

So we... more>> know this is a transmigration story

and MC has a weakened mystic stone as her cheat

[collapse]
but MC isn't too OP. Instead of relying on her cheat, what she uses more is her proficiency in cooking and farming. Her family is so lovely they all deserve the best. It's a little more slice of life, annoying villains (Madam Zhang pls CHOKE), and business management. I love all the smaller characters especially Little Grey. We're still at a point where she's 8 or 9 so we dont don't really have romance yet (thank god) but there are already a lot of potential men and we already know who it will be. I just like where the story is going currently, she's still establishing herself and her business, earning some money, and making very good investments. The story is very wholesome, we love to see it!

*Update: I dropped it a little after the romance came in bc heterosexuality doesn't sit right with me. /Hj Anyways it's a really good slice of life novel. It also has the business aspect of it which makes it exciting. The thing with novels like these is that you could drop them or take a break when you want to. If you need a story that you could return to, this is a great one for you. <<less

While it's a great novel, I've got a belly full of anger from practically every chapter the MC is wronged and has to be the guardian angel of not just her siblings, but her parents as well. She should enjoy being a child again.

Anyway, as always I find great joy in novels about cooking and the MC is really likeable.

I have read this novel for months now and it is something I look forward to every day when Volare Novels updates a new chapter. The story is not too heavy and has a light happy theme which makes you smile. It has just enough drama to make you wrapped into the story and feel an emotional connection to the characters. Would recommend this novel to anyone that enjoys a good balance of drama, happiness and fun. Love it and will continue to love it for chapters to come.

edit 2: After 2 years I picked up this novel where I left it and oh god it's terrible. The translation job is still great but it's really a downhill roll for this novel. It just gets worse and worse. The inconsistencies multiplied like flies on a pile of dog shit, the light from the MC's mary sue halo becomes so intense it causes 3rd degree burns to everyone around her and the ML also never gets better nor more likeable.

The MC is pretty much a superstar in the capital... more>> city yet noble people still offend her left and right so we can have pointless face slaps. The MC is not like other girls ™ so almost every male praise her for being not like other girls™. She used to be a peasant farmer girl but now she's an otherworldly godly fragile porcelain doll delicate snow skin pure as spring dew beauty (the author hammers in this fact at least once every 2 chapters. Even her identical twin is extremely below her in comparison). She loves money and building businesses, basically has a lot of ambitions but everyone around her still think she's the only pure and selfless flower around. The ML who has some kind of character reading powers even comment how 'innocent and pure' MC is, even her own twin sister Xiaolian, who is among the most humble and down-to-earth character in the whole novel (to the point that she gets forgotten and left behind in their fishing village) is even 'less pure' than the MC for some reason. (As quoted by ML)

I do not think it's wrong to have ambitions as human beings as it fosters growth but the problem is that only the MC (and sometimes her friends) is allowed to strive for success, when other characters dream of elevating their current lives they are portrayed as self-serving and greedy. The author's hatred of young rich noble ladies become even more intense in the later chapters and 90% of them are portrayed as beautiful but shallow, greedy and s*upid. Almost every male character detests these fragile rich young maidens they deem to be dumb and talentless, yet they insists that these girls abide by the rules and to grow up within the four walls of their homes, confined and learning only the maiden arts, never exploring their talents and only be subservient. They raise them to be living off the palms of their hands and then hate them for not being capable of anything else or when they struggle in the only way they are allowed to which is by scheming.

I don't have the will power to finish it anymore because it's exhausting to read the MC and ML's story while there is zero chemistry between them. MC just acts like a typical rude and gutsy tyrant towards her ML while the latter keeps doting and fawning over her. Let me remind you that the MC was a transmigrator and died around her late 20's in her previous life but still acts so childishly and tactless, especially after meeting the ML, who becomes her #1 backer, her childishness and lack of empathy becomes even worse. At the beginning of the story, she laments how the ancient world is filled with people she cannot offend or it will risk her whole family's life. Sadly, she ends up becoming exactly like those tyrannical people who brings an unfortunate ending to anyone who dare to slight her and yes, she doesn't care.

Now that I've read 400+ of this novel, I decided to rewrite my old review. I initially rated this 4 stars but I'll have to finish this with a 3 star at best because of the main character. During the first hundred chapter, I can still believe whenever she pulls a skill or knowledge out of nowhere but now it has become kind of ridiculous. The MC literally has an answer to almost every problem that pops out because of her experience in her old life, except she did not die that old in her previous life so I don't know how she could accomplish so many things in such a short lifespan. The author also has a problem of remembering their own characters and has a tendency to change the names, which doesn't help the very large ensemble of cast this novel has. The author writes a lot of things in details but has a real problem with consistency. Ie;

Spoiler

The MC initially had problems riding carts whenever travelling to and fro their home to the town, she would always feel sick sitting on carts/carriage because of the terrain and she even later ends up receiving rubber wheels from her friend to help with motion-sickness. Few chapters later, she rides the carriage of a noble lady, doesn't have rubber wheels and was incredibly shaky to the point that the spoiled noble maiden riding it hits her head with all the shaking. The MC isn't fazed by the rocky terrain/motion sickness just to show how amazing she is compared to a spoiled noble lady. This kind of thing doesn't happen once or twice, the author loves to rub it in how amazing, incredible and more interesting the MC is compared to other rich noble ladies.

Male characters who are rich and powerful with lofty status would often think of how much more interesting the MC is compared to rich noble ladies (literally happens with the 2nd prince, her godfather, etc). On the other hand, female characters who are rich and powerful with lofty statuses would often find her annoying, a little peasant girl. Unless they're some auntie.

[collapse]

The description of the MC's appearance would also change from time to time. Sometimes, she is described as built, small but strong or just not as beautiful as other girls. Sometimes she is beautiful, frail and like a porcelain doll or some sht. Basically the author would write whatever would make things more beneficial to MC. The MC also attracts men left and right because of her aura or whatever. It was okay the first 200 or so chapters but after 400 chapters it has become irksome.

I would have to say that this novel is greatly impeded by the author's inconsistency, the MC being too mary sue, and the ML being the typical ML (you know what I mean). I find that the best parts of this novel is with the background characters (even if you can't remember all of them) who are in my honest opinion are more interesting than the bland magic hands MC and her aggressive mu*der machine ML. <<less

Not bad. Everyday life. "The cheat" is very high. MC is OP ?. I don't mind. She just like Kaguya Goddess send on mortal realm and help her poor family. The father and mother protected her and trusted her "reason" why she come back alive ?

Good translation. As I expect from Volare team. Their team is awesome.

I am curious who is the Male Lead. Is it the Emperor, brother six, Qiao Wen, Zhao Han, Third Master or even the Prince ? So many handsome male were surrounding her ?

So many... more>> food p*rns too. Thank you for the foods pictures ??? <<less

I have a few things I want to say about this novel, as I have not finished reading it so I will not talk about the whole plot till I have read it is mostly a cute slice-of-life kind of novel with a little melodrama, but trust me it is worth reading if you look for a strong and smart female lead, who is also decisive and knows how to handle the situation this is for you. The family of the FL is just too supportive and the sibling relationship... more>> is very touching.

The reason I deducted 1 star is that I feel the plot sometimes was a little too stretchy it could be short but things seem to be a bit too detailed. Not exactly hating it. Plus I seriously feel that the ML should have been Zhao Han or even the third young master Zhou Zixu (Zhenxiu Restaurant). The ML has not had many scenes yet but after half of the novel, I don't know what sort of emotional connection the author has provided.

This is my first time writing a review. I have read many novels but writing a review always seems hectic and not worthwhile this is for people like me who read the reviews first before picking a new novel to read. <<less

Honestly, I wasn't planning on writing a review till the end, but this one incident really puts me off.

Spoiler

The incident is Lady Fang's niece trying to mu*der the FL.

That girl is a 13 year old child! All she knows is taking advantage of and being taken advantage of, if someone wants to improve their life

She has a 'concubine born' status, no birth mother to protect her and a father who regards his daughters as tools used to form connections and improve his status.

When she was sent to Lady Fang she was about 7-8 y.o. Her parents told her that if she wants to live a better life she has to get Lady Fang to adopt her.

I'm pretty sure she's also taught how to act in front of her aunt, because how else would a 7-8 y.o. Little girl know the preferences of her aunt?

She was accepted to accompany her aunt because she acted like a person her aunt likes. She was never herself in front of her.

She's never felt or experienced familial love, only how to get the best benefits for herself. In this situation, her aunt, who she depends on, suddenly announced that they adopted a daughter. The adults never tried to explain their decision or why she was not chosen for adoption.

When she was rude to the FL, the adults never tried to teach her where she went wrong. They only ignored her and shouted at her. This is classic child abuse.

This neglect led to her having malicious intentions and taking malicious actions. This negligence and complacency of the adults led to the niece being sold to an older man, thus, leading to her early death.

The FL was right in everything she does, even when she provoked a child over 15 years her junior. The FL is only 'cute, adorable, clear-eyed'.

[collapse]

I really don't like how the author handled this incident and how the characters acted and reacted to it. <<less

Its good

But the ML... you can consider him the perfect bf/husband material. But he can be considered half pedo if you use modern thinking because he already likes MC when she's 11-12 yrs old, she has an adult soul but the ML didn't know that at the beginning so it looks a bit pedo, but they're in ancient times so its a bit normal in that time.

Anyway this is a slice of life so you need to have patience. There are few villains and they're brainless so the MC and... more>> ML can handle then easily and quickly.

If you're a foodie then get ready because there are many foods described here. <<less
