Traversing into another world, Zhang Xuan finds himself becoming an honorable teacher.

Along with his transcension, a mysterious library appears in his mind.

As long as it is something he has seen, regardless of whether it is a human or an object, a book on its weaknesses will be automatically compiled in the library.

Thus, he becomes formidable.

“Emperor Zhuoyang, why do you detest wearing your underwear so much? As an emperor, can’t you pay a little more attention to your image?”

“Fairy Linglong, you can always look for me if you find yourself unable to sleep at night. I am skilled in lullabies!”

“And you, Demon Lord Qiankun! Can you cut down on the garlic? Are you trying to kill me with that stench?”

Be careful of spoilers with this one. I found that some of the best parts of this novel depends on reveals, and even simple stuff accidentally found on a wiki, on this site or even comments can ruin the experience.

My 2 biggest issues with the novel are the enormous blocks of filler text and the novel's inability to keep track of time. As long as you're okay skimming and ignoring the gross inconsistencies with time, then there's a good amount of humor in the novel. Enjoy your read.

This is a wild one. It starts good, but then for the next 200 chapters all the face-slapping just repeats.

If you manage to slog through that, you will be rewarded with some very juicy "God of Destruction" action around the 600s. The story takes off and the author clearly managed to learn from their past mistakes. Beautiful, 6*!

Unfortunately, around c900 it begins to drag again and I couldn't force myself to continue reading. All the beautiful and cool interactions are forgotten. What a shame :/

Some more thoughts on specific things... more>> that really bothered me:

Master teacher system:

Spoiler

Utter crap. Their only value is hypocrisy. Every new encounter it changes from "we always respect the young if they can teach us" to "you are too young, respect my seniority" or from "master teacher is not about fighting" to "in the end, strength is the most important"

[collapse]

Girls/Love/Harem:

Spoiler

I really liked the mysterious girl, but she just suddenly disappeared. Also, during the saint ascension arc, she became just another random girl being astonished. Disappointing.

[collapse]

This one bothered me the most -> Pupils:

Spoiler

They are seemingly forgotten and only play a minor role. I really wished he would stay in the teacher role and not just go crushing stuff.

My biggest complaint is the ending, the novel changes very suddenly and it seems somewhat forced (I can't really describe the specifics without massive spoilers)

The novel has an interesting premise but it doesn't really pick up until over 1000 chapters. The arcs are pretty much all the same, he goes somewhere to do something, someone doubts him, he shows off then they fawn over him, rinse and repeat. Maybe mix it up with the occasional subplot. The story overall is decent enough to pass some time on but it isn't interesting enough to seek out on its own merits.

I honestly didn’t expect much out of this book due to the reviews people left. However I was pleasantly surprised while reading this novel. This novel is incredibly funny in my opinion. Yes, the face slapping does get repetitive but each situation is unique in its own right. Most situations happen without the MC knowing he did anything wrong. Whether it be because he wasn’t involved or because the other characters misunderstand or underestimate him.

SPOILIER (but not important one) The MC gets a clone. His interactions with his clone is... more>> the funniest interaction I’ve ever read about. The MC is deathly afraid of battling the clone and the clone proceeds to put the MC in awkward situations quite often. <<less

This novel retains the same quality of its humor and overall story over the first 1000 chapters.

That is a very rare accomplishment, sometimes ive needed to take a break from the story but I always return its a easy to read and relaxing story and occasionally its very funny.

This novel is peculiar, as I found good and bad at the same time.

Good as I like the parody aspect, how the MC level up, and the jokes.

Bad as I dislike how author does everything in his power to increase the chapters count, leading to a lot of repetitive scene.

My advice for this novel is to read an arc, bookmark and forget about it for a fortnight/month, because every-time I read too much, I get fed-up, however I always comeback to read again.

It can be really good, but it's starting to get annoying. By c650, he can't defeat his own clone, he still can't make his own pills, and he's about to (read slightly ahead from mtl) lose his ability to separate his soul from his body. Author keeps making him weaker than he needs to be, it's really frustrating. He has the most op ability I've seen but he keeps getting held back by bad and illogical decisions on part of the character and plot.

EDIT: He keeps his soul ability, but... more>> by c813, his own students become guest elders at the Master Teacher Academy where he is supposed to be learning at and they have to use their guest elder status to get ZX out of a situation with a higher ranked teacher. Also, his LOHP ability doesn't work on a girl he meets from around c650. Dafuq author? Really? He's weaker in status to his own students, weaker in ability to his own clone, and his OP ability doesn't even f*cking work properly. What kind of logic makes you think this is actually enjoyable?

Edit: By c2030. He's progressed to the next realm. Luo Ruoxin situation was a total copout, seems like author wrote himself into a corner by saying Luo Family Princess for 1000 chapters and doing a bait and switch at the end with Luo Qiqi. Luo Ruoxin is instead some higher realm being who came to take to Codex of Spring and Autumn to get enough power to go back. <<less

Totally agree with the guys slants perpe on almost all points. But this novel gives some good laughs from time to time so I can rate it a 1 star. But it's barely a 3 star more like 2.5. No romance was a plus point for this novel tbh. But SPOLIER.......

a random girl popped up in the woods and the guy fell in effin love with her. Just like that.... he had been with a lot of girls previously who were genuinely interested in him but no he just had... more>> to fell for the random girl. who don't even seem to care about him at the 1st effin sight. Also I just got hell lot repetitive now for my taste. <<less

Truthfully, I like this novel and the MC. It is a good read when one want to relax. However, like many others, I also think that the plot is getting repetitive. At least if there are some changes on this part I will be delighted. Another little detail that annoyed me is that the chapter is too short for my personal liking. Any way, one should at least try the novel before and not be discouraged by the negative comments.

It's not that this novel is bad that I gave 3 stars, it's just too much of the same thing. As I read the other reviews, everyone understand what I talk about. MC go to new place, no one believe he can do it, he learns too quickly and they have to swallow their words.

But I still enjoy reading it just for fun. Don't think too much about the world, just go with the flow.

Pure Humor.

Seriously it is.

Don't go reading this novel as if it's life and death only or that the future of the world is at stake. Nothing of that sort.

... more>> I'd say it's 70% humor, 10% cultivation, 10% life and death, and maybe up to 10% in seriousness.

The humor lies in the misdirection and silly ways our MC gets caught up in the events around him. He HONESTLY only wants to be a teacher. But nothing ever goes the way he expects. Yet like all good writing, it works out in the end. Hilariously so.

I was chuckling all the way to the last 367th chapter. Only the evil high heavens knows whether I will be laughing come chapter 400.... but I wouldn't be surprised.

If you're kind of tired of reading serious: "you're just courting death" stories. Come check out this hilarious romp. <<less

It's repetitive, no doubt about it. The plot is regurgitated over and over with the same basic formula, and can probably go in basically the same ways even if you switch out the character names. However, it's also unashamedly crack, and doesn't really make any effort to get out of being lighthearted comedy. If you like super-serious/dark skill-grinding MCs with story lines stuffed to the gills with tension and mystery, this probably isn't for you.

TLDR: Comedy face-slapping that runs on Rule of Funny.

Incredibly repetitive - This sums up the whole story. Every conflict basically follows the same template, over and over again.

Then there is other characters, who also have the exact same personalities. The always doubtful crowd, who, no matter what the MC does, is there to doubt him. The angry and arrogant people who always have to challenge the MC, repetitively, even after suffering a loss, until there is nothing else to challenge him with. The cold beauties that think MC is trying to... more>> impress them, just to find out he isn't.

Yet despite all this I enjoyed reading it. You might find it interesting if u can look past the before mentioned things. <<less

Although I really liked reading the novel and most probably will continue to do so but I have to admit it is quite childish. It's repetitive but you can still keep reading it. For some reason you just don't want to drop it.

Also [spolier]: even after the start of this novel not even 4 months have passed and this fact really pisses me off. This novel is so fast as well as too damn slow.

When you read this story, you have to keep in mind that this is not a serious story. I won't be surprised that there will be no real plot development beside face smacking people over and over. It's quite funny for what it is but don't expect too much from it.
