The elf girl, Aria is an adventurer. Her enchanting, lovely features attracts everyone. Her twin peaks are ripened to the point of exploding. Then, being embraced in between those twin peaks was a little animal… his name is Tama.

He looks like to be a cat at first glance, but Aria and her surrounding companions failed to take notice of single detail. Tama, he’s a human who’d reincarnated, given a second chance at life. His true form, it’s not that of an ordinary cat. Instead, he’s a monster of the strongest class, an extremely young behemoth.

The start is good. A guy reincarnated as a cat (behemoth), and he cat get skills by eating monster (like rou from re:monster). But when you get to chapter 20+ it's become worse. The cat try to hide his power, by sacrificing the potential he has.

It's really rare for me to rate a Japanese novel this low, but I think the author really f*cked up

At first it grabbed my attention that the MC was reincarnated as a monster that had to work his way up the ladder. Unfortunately, the story immediately fell when he introduced the big tittied Keebler elf, reducing the onward chapters into a man writing a 15 page essay on the wonders of tit flesh.

Like seriosuly.... this guy won’t shut up about tits.

Seriously, this is just one of those novels that lures you in with an awesome summary, when in reality it’s just a ero LN about a guy who gets... more>> away with ecchi stuff thanks to his cute kitten body. <<less

TL;DR: You'll probably like it or hate it.

Expect vulgarity and not-so-subtle female objectification from ch 9 onward. It is tagged as ecchi, but this is absurd. The female lead's breasts are the main point of any interaction involving her. That aside, the plot is pretty bland with a lot of viewpoint switching. I only skimmed ch15-33, but it was more ecchi with bland plot.

The long version: 3 stars for the boring plot, -1 for the vulgarity = 2/5 stars.

This is a pretty vulgar novel, to the point where I found... more>> it off-putting. I'm fine with mature themes (cursing, violence, s*x, etc.) but the male mob characters are extremely vocal about "voicing their impressions" such as admiring "those tits" (11) or "look at those things jiggle!" (c13).

Somewhat more expected (it is ecchi), every interaction the MC (infant behemoth/kitten) has with the female lead either revolves around or mentions her breasts. This escalates further.

That aside, the plot is pretty bland. There's the expected powering up and convenient explanations for the MC's odd behavior and characteristics. There are the usual cliched situations, like the sleezy nobleman adventurer and elf ears being an erogenous zone. The viewpoint is inconsistent--1st person and 3rd person limited, and the focus switches a lot when it's 3rd person. <<less

Today is January 24th, 2021. This is Sageinferni, your reviewer for today, bringing you your 'by chapter 110' review.

Let's see... I've read all the other reviews that have currently been posted and so I am putting forth my perspective on the details and opinions within them on top of my own opinions.

Keep in mind that, at the time I am posting this, I'm almost finished with all the chapters that have been released so far but it can be assumed that the previous reviewers will not read as far as... more>> me

The story is very fast-paced and the chapters are short. I personally don't dislike these traits. The worst thing in it is the f*ucked up "romance", if you can stand call it that, but I think that had mostly been removed by chapter 70 or 80, for the betterment of the story. Not fully, but it's much more palatable now. That may seem like a lot, but as previously mentioned the chapters are fairly short.

I do like the normal interactions between the main character and the other characters though. Cats are cute.

Also, while the plot advances really quickly I don't think that made it bad. And, from around chapter 100 on a great new plot point has been introduced to the readers that the characters haven't mostly caught on to yet, and it's completely hooked my curiosity.

You can ignore the review about the main character sacrificing his power. I won't give spoilers as to why, but just know that that person probably hadn't read much further ahead.

If I had one complaint, aside from the sh*t early on, it would be that the main character doesn't display much personality. But I also think that's because he doesn't talk and, being a pet, has limited agency.

This has been your 'by chapter 110' review, January 24th, 2021. <<less

Like the people above mentioned, 90% of the novel is MC talking about the heroine's tits. I don't think it's impressed enough though, which led to me making the mistake of reading it in the first place. Here's a couple excerpts

Alone in the dressing room, Aria shamelessly and erotically undressed, followed by a deep scrub of her entire body to clean up. Of course, Tama took in every inch. A captivating figure that just begged to be touched, and not a single blemish or mark on her supple skin... but there was something that grabbed his attention more than anything else.

Two somethings.

It was those little devils on Aria’s chest, floating on the water’s surface. Drifting and swimming in the water, Tama couldn’t help but sneak peeks at them whenever he could

He had gone from enveloped in blankets to enveloped in breasts.

The... They’re huge! What even are these?! Appl—no, grapefru—no, melons!

Yes, this elf’s twin peaks were not hills, but mountains.

Even at a glance he could tell those sweater puppies couldn’t be kenneled in a cup size. That would have been like trying to store a desert in a litterbox. Still, if he had to think about it in terms of cups, they were... World Cup b**bs!

It was a valley—no, a crevasse. With the exception of his head, Tama’s entire body was comfortably snug between Aria’s breasts. He could do nothing but shiver, eventually calming down and surrendering to his cozy cage, and overwhelmed by the sight themselves the street vendors gulped loudly without another word.

I get it, the novel isn't suposed to be taken seriously. But this isn't comedy, it's just some virg*n's wild fetish about massive tits, elves and bestiality (Did I forget to mention she wants to f*ck the cat?) penned down.

For the love of God, spare yourself the pain and leave this novel alone <<less

What the hell. I expected some heartwarming kitty cuteness with a pinch of ecchi but the actual novel only gives me half of that. The other half is made up of b**b obsession plus something I'm not entirely comfortable with, even if this novel doesn't take itself seriously.

This is still better than those bad self-insert "cheat"/"slow-life" novels though.

Everything seems good so far. Expecting abit more world building soon. Nothing too glaring in either the narrative or the translation. Might turn out as a good read.

As long as it doesnt turn out too monotonous it should be good

Pervy greatness! No payoff R-18 scene so far, which is a little odd given the author's tendency to play up to just about any kinky fantasy genre weirdness out there, but the story is fun enough to keep you reading. The MC's knightly virtue and romantic drama beneath the comic perviness keep an otherwise bland dungeon story on track. The translation doesn't deliver artistic prose but it avoids grammer distractions and shows a little color during the racy parts, which shows the translator knows where the most detailed work needs... more>> to go. <<less

Interesting story with a twist I didn't see coming. Also at one point the MC tries to hide his abilities but shortly after finds out he can get away with using them so it avoids that pigeonhole. The only problem is that the chapters are kinda short but that's pretty common with light/web novels.

First, it started off as a good read. Just your average light novel that starts off good enough to waste your time. Then, it throws ideas lifted from other media right in your face.

Spoiler

In the latest arc (as of when I last read this) a bunny girl who's description fits Usada Pekora's appeared. To make matters worse, the name of the country where she resides just so happens to be a few letters off from said V-Tuber.

It's like the author is running out of ideas and is just putting in thinly veiled interpretations of things he likes. <<less

I can't continue. The description got me intrested but this is basically a speed run with little substance. There's almost no structure or world building to it. There is a loose goal on the heroines part to gain strength, The cat wants to protect her but seems to be crippling itself by not taking any road to get stronger even if its right in front of him. Its all fluff, and while I like my occasional fluffy novel this just leaves me disappointed

I really liked this novel. I'm looking forward to the time when Tama evolves permanently into an adult. I've read that there is a novel that is previous to this one and they even mention some characters in this novel, I wonder how is it called?

Not bad tbh, story can be hectic ( (͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)), although intriguing and well-detailed (specially in the book), a really good pass-time read due to its World-Building aspects and it's approach in providing the story (a good mix of adventure and comedy, with some serious background stories). Started reading this when I bought Volume 1 and 2 Light Novels in Rakuten Kobo, but couldn't wait for the next volume so I decided to just start reading the web novel.

First of all, be warned - this is a Status novel with skill assimilation. It's a straight guarantee predicated on the MC eating even the smallest bit of an enemy. This kind of thing isn't sustainable even when it's far harder to take skills. Based on the tags and other reviews, this seems unlikely to be a major focus of the story, but still. It's a fairly major part of how everything works, and it's just going to get unmanageable.

Secondly, the translation. I'm not sure why several reviews have mentioned... more>> it being totally fine. It's not. It's understandable, which is unfortunately worth mentioning. However that's the best I can say about it. Tenses frequently switch sentence to sentence. Basic grammar is often utterly lost. For example, "Now that he found one, he want to at least checking the contain." It's not too hard to figure out what it means, especially with context, but it's still rather distracting. <<less

Overall all my bias/feelings and liking this aside fundamentally speaking the story is totally crap and extremely above and beyond not worth reading or recommending. It is obvious that the best parts and the de facto best possible outcome won't ever ever happen. Romance won't actually happen as for all intents and purposes the MC is a f*ggot and author doesn't have the balls to fulfill the corner stone of the story here. Very extremely likely if any love or snu snu happens it will likely be in some abhorrent... more>> disgusting thing called a humanoid form which would be the author metaphorically pulling their pants down and taking a sh*t all over their own story. Which would be nothing new but nevertheless destroying the keystone and entire premise of the story which is MC not being human.

Undertone genre and rating makes it painfully obvious nothing "tragic" will occur or whatever so plot armor is pretty blatant as are the tropes. This is a ecchi fluff story and that is it. It is a amusing story. If you can handle the obvious huge flaws that appear before even reading the story then give it a read or even better read the manga instead which is vastly superior as images of cleavage are more interesting then the very many many descriptions of cleavage instead <<less

Ironically the story about a cat being stuffed between women's breasts is padded to hell and back

I stuck this one out until chapter 84 because I thought, hey those repetitive parts where a lady carries around the MC between her ti*s have to stop eventually right? Nope.

This WN just had two characters that joined the party spend an entire chapter to fire off four attacks, say "wow we are powerful" and then the story gets right goddamn back to "THE CAT HAS BEEN PLACED BETWEEN A LADY'S TITS. AGAIN."

The strengths... more>> of the protagonists early on was an interesting dynamic as they tended to face off against stuff with actual stakes, but the story has reached a point where everything is just splattered in a couple paragraphs so the author can write about how the cat has been placed inside cleavage, AGAIN, and AGAIN, and AGAIN, and AGAIN.

This is a story that feels like it's physically trying to make you bored of hearing about women's breasts, like it's some kind of experiment. <<less

Starts very well, but it never actually has any (noticeable) world building. It feels like a he**ai game when reading, there's few common sense elements in the casual aspects. E.g. "Labyrinth city", "adventures fill the guild"; there's not a single mention of anyone else being in the labyrinth (least where I'm up 2) there are no notable interactions with uncentral characters.

There are quite a few good parts, but there overshadowed by the bad.

I'd recommend the first part 2 read if you've got some spare time, but chapter 15~20 onwards isn't... more>> great. <<less
