A good novel - recommended for those who likes to read quick yet good quality transmigration novels. It is evident that the author made the effort to put his/her all into creating each arc and as well as filling out the background of our MC and ml. In addition the author has definitely did a good job in writing the novel in a whole mysterious way as seeing how I'm up to chapter 509 but still haven't a clear idea of the MC's true identity and not even totally sure... more>> about the ML - but the chapters in total do comes to 2000... You should also note that this novel definitely does not conform to the usual practices as romance is slow-burn (which the MC has got to blame since she is a hell of a tough nut to crack - feels sorry for ml...).

It is not a joke to say that the MC would totally surpass your expectations - which you could like or even dislike.. in other words her personality is pretty extreme from my perspective but that's considering the fact I'm still unclear of her true identity/background. I can assure you that this novel is definitely worth giving a try and the comedy in it will not disappoint. <<less

I've liked all the arcs so far and found them to be very entertaining. The MC is super OP but I love her arrogant and shameless attitude. I also like how villainous she is at times. It goes against convention and is super refreshing to read. I dislike MCs who let people walk all over them, so I love the showing off and face slapping that the MC does. The ML is likable and changes every arc, making each arc new and fun to read.

Once learning this, it makes sense why she doesn't care about anyone but herself and will let everyone suffer a TON!

I live an OP protagonist who garners the admiration of many with her talents. And I like the revenge. But, I like it best when she pairs up with the OrigML or OrigFL upon realized they are good people (happens rarely). [Kinda annoys me when the FL darkens all the time] <<less

I SUGGEST YOU READ TO KNOW YOUR BOTTOM LINE!

I'm very happy I gave this novel a shot! The 1 star reviews really put me off but don't mind them ah!

As long as you don't take it too seriously, you'd be surprised. I'm already at the 7th arc when there's a little bit of progress has happened between MC and ML.

If you're put off by r*pe and violence, then this is obviously not your cup of tea. If you're bored, I highly recommend you to pick this up. Stick through 4... more>> arcs and see your bottom line.

The writing is straightforward and skim-y (light reading) as it's a series and not full blown novel.

The MC will get on your nerves with violence and characters haywire, but that's what makes it fresh! If everyone keeps acting the typical, would it really reach multiple arcs?

This is a long winded story, it stretches out for over 2k chapters, so yes, the progression is slower than a snail's pace. However it's been so far highly enjoyable for me! I swallowed up this story as far as I could within a couple of weeks, reading it anywhere and everywhere I could.
You'll either hate or love the MC, it's a strong 50/50. She's willful, headstrong and acts out of self interest, in a very humane (humane as in, as far as how a normal human would act, not that social bs standard of humane) way and refuses to put on a facade for anybody. None of the compassionate heroics crap.
Because the strong is long winded, the appearance of a ML is also very late.

He's a cute tsundere, but so tsuntsun that will frustrate the crap out of our MC from time to time. There's not much told from his side other than the emotional connection he feels towards MC whenever they meet anew. Still not sure what made him fall in love with her first, but ever since establishing that bond, it's been going on strong. Although, I do wanna see more actual tragic dramatic events between them. Gotta bond, you know?! Not enough bonding! Too much dog food!

Regarding the cannon fodders in the arcs, there's rarely somebody that can meet her match, as yet I'm only a quarter into the story, I suppose I'll have to sit that out until it's hopefully the time for some big showdown.
At times very funny, frustrating but also heartbreaking, this novel taken my heart on an entire roller coaster ride and I don't really want it to stop.

Also, feels bad for the men pursuing our MC in a sincere and passionate way, but getting kicked to the curb instead. They deserve a boo too *sob* Feeling the burning desire for MC to end up in a yuri situation from time to time too hohohoho Some of these female supports are just so PRECIOUS <3

The story plot is good and each arc is very much different and interesting. Since FL is smart and doesn't have a screw loose in head like some other Transmigration novels it is a good read. So if u like strong FL go for it.

Ok so like first of all, WHOA THIS NOVEL IS HELLA GOOD. DID NOT click on it expecting to find a gem. For some reason the female lead is so unreasonable and bad but I just f*cking love her to death. You can say that Shi Sheng (FL) is my all-time favorite #1 female lead. Feng Chi (hubby) is just f*cking adorable. That boy just hits all my soft spots right on, damn... (⁄ ⁄•⁄ω⁄•⁄ ⁄) ⁄ Definitely recommend this to those who love OP lead characters without the "Development"... more>> period in strength. There will still be development character-wise though. The first part of this novel is great. The MC is extremely unique by the fact that she simply DOES NOT CARE about anything. She'll be rude to anyone, even kill anyone who gets in her way. I know that sounds a lot like other female MC leads, but no, this is completely different. She doesn't care about ANYTHING! She almost seems to take pleasure in watching the female leads of the worlds she goes into crumble until death. Even if they're not against her! She still goes after them.... more>> That plus the fact that there seems to be a huge secret about the MC makes her extremely unique. A secret that not even the system that's in charge of bringing her to these worlds can figure out.

However.. It begins to get stale around the late 200 chapters. That's with the introduction of the male lead. She starts to have someone she cares for, and in my personal opinion, this slowly begins to break apart her character type. That plus the worlds tend to repeat themselves, her having been in about three Xianxia type worlds already. I think the author made a bad move introducing the male lead, as the story begins to focus more on her searching for him and their relationship, lessening the world building and what not. They also tease the big mystery about the MC way too much without actually telling us anything. You'd think by the 7th or so world, she'd begin to rebel against her situation more. There's a throw out line that hints that she's ALLOWING it to happen because she finds it fun at first, but that's not nearly enough. By the time I had caught up to the translation, I was no longer really laughing at loud at the MC's antics, as it had been repeated over 10 times with no real change. I've noticed some people in their reviews mentioning the MC changes her personalities in a few of the arcs. That's absolutely false. She's exactly the same in every single world she visits. Dunno what delusions those people who wrote that have, but there's not even a hint of her personality changing through out the novel.

However, after saying all that, it's also true that this novel isn't even a quarter of the way translated yet. It's a shame that the translation is so slow though. While the translation itself is absolutely perfect for the most part, the fact that chapters come out a few days a part means this novel won't be finished being translated for like 8 years at it's current rate. Unfortunately, that means that I'll most likely just forget about it now that I've caught up and move on to faster moving novels.

EDIT: Update, August 8th 2020. After more than a year, I went back to read the novel again from the beginning, and based on what I read, nothing needs to be changed in my original review. Everything I said still stands. HOWEVER, I do need to drop the review score from 3 stars to 2 stars. This is due to the new translator who took over. The quality of the translation is much lower. The sad thing is that the recent chapters are riddled with absolutely s*upid mistakes, like missing words or flat out wrong ones. These mistakes would be easily caught if the translator simply proof-read the chapter after translating it before releasing it. However, they seem much too careless, and only care about getting the chapters out. What a shame.. <<less

My first time reading this type of novel was quickly wear the face of the devil. I loved it so much I gave this a try.

However I feel like they can’t compare. And it’s not only because of the lack of romance or even because one is shounen ai (I don’t care as long as plots good). Is just that the his novel the female lead stays the same. While that doesn’t sound so bad, when dealing with this kind of story that changes setting one needs a bit of... more>> adaptability to keep things interesting. In Wear the face of a devil the guy might stay the same badass hacker he was originally, but he adapted to each setting and was treated each reincarnation seriously and choose his battles. This female lead type of badassmes is the type that I don’t like. The type that doesn’t take time to plan but merely struts around insulting everyone without proper reason and being “chunin”. Her lack of adaptability makes it boring even though the setting changes because u can always predict her every move. She’s going to get revenge, break the main leads, make everyone hate her and break the story apart instead of treating the stories like a different adventure to emerge herself in. I don’t know why she’s an author. Ok she doesn’t like the typical story line but she’s still very capable, she can just build her own story instead of being a parasit to society. Quickly wear the face of a devil had characters from each story that the reader could love and the male lead contributed to each story. He valued them so much that when he came back to reality he couldn’t let the worlds be destroyed and protected each world.

The male lead was more respectful of the stories that this one who is an “author” even if both of them hated that the usual plot-sama. <<less

To tell you the truth, at first I wasn't to keen on reading this novel. But thank god I did, it's so much fun...I love game novel arc the most!! And Im in love with the MC she's my kinda person, I find her reasonable no matter how ridiculously unresonable she sounds. And ML's so cute!! I cried in everytime he died!!

Not going to lie, it was good at the beginning. However, as your progress into the story it gets really dull. For me I like a fast past romance and more plot into the novel. All I feel I've been reading the whole day for 188 chapters was the same thing over and over again. Granted it did make me laugh, but it just got plain boring and annoying for me. I actually was kinda expecting this outcome when I started reading and I really hoped it wasn't like this.... more>> However, I'm kinda glad I wasn't expecting too much from this story to make me too disappointed

It's basically a girl who wreaks the whole plot by going OOC and being brutal. A system trying to pull the MC back by barley talk/helping. A wipped ML (I mean I don't mind that part) but what annoys my the most is that she goes too off script. Like I get it it's her character but she's just... Way too off script for me and this just isn't my novel.

I have been using this website as my reading source for a long time. Yet, none of the novels I have read could give me the feeling that I must give a review no matter what. I wasn't a fan of this type of novel. I don't know how or why I decided to give this novel a try but I'm glad I did.

Behind the shell of being a comedy - romance story, this is about a lady who has lost all of her family members and her only best friend. Yes, This is the Shi Sheng that has acted like a shameless woman, treating people like tr*shes in this novel.

With the comedy tag, the story progresses without telling the readers why Shi Sheng's personality is that cold-blooded to the point that it would make the readers hate her. This was also one of the reason why I sometimes thought about giving up on this novel. However, by digging deeper into the story, you will discover many secrets about Shi Sheng that you would've never thought of. The tragic stories that has made her the person she is.

Believe me, at the end of the story-- no, at some parts of the story, YOU WILL CRY.

This is pretty good. Ever since I've read FOD, I've always been on the hunt for something similar. I still like FOD way better though. The plot is smoother and there's not much gaping holes in the story.

The only thing I dont like about this is the MC is very heartless, and I can't help but feel frustrated with the ML-MC interaction, the only arc I was satisfied with was arc3. Feng ci really did a good job lowering her defences. Lol. It's a great contrast to FOD's character, he... more>> really tries his best and lives every life to the fullest. And he loves every ML with all of his heart.

But other than that, it's great, MC is OP and she doesnt even bother conning people, she just goes straight forward with he face slapping. Lol. The thing I anticipate the most is the ML and how his attitude is towards the MC. Lol.

Idk how the MC here will progress though since the translation still has waaaayyyy to go. With how the chapters are being translated, it'll probably take 4-5 yrs before it finishes. And I dont have the patience for mtl so I dont know if i'll continue to follow this story. <<less

First I want to say, this story is about woman who have a system (get punished), she have to live as the character of the story, after she getting old, she comeback to the system and go to other story (New), and live there again till she's getting old. Oh right for you, that homophobic, dont read the story when she is becoming chief editor, actually the author making a lot homo character at some of the story, but when she go to the editor story which chapter 700+?, the protagonist and ML at that story is all male, which is, there are scene with ambiguity, well if you feel okay, go on. And She met Feng ci there, well feng ci is not always appear, so don't be disappointed with it, they have a happy sad ending in that story

Firstly, I feel like this novel is aimed at females. The story is weird and doesn't make much sense, it's funny though. The quality of the translations isn't very good but it doesn't matter since you don't read the novel for the story, only the comedy.

At first you will feel like the story is heavy since there are a lot of mature content such as s*x, blood, scheming and betrayal but no this novel is mainly light hearted and there's no need to take them very deeply.
