Baibalon, a territory considered the worst in the country. A place where those who have no home left flee to, filled with criminals, heretics, sick people and demihumans.

Taking over the family as the next Lord, the young Rize Baibalon will try his best to stay alive in this god-forsaken place, not worrying if what he does to achieve that goal is going against the very founding doctrine of the country.

With little common sense and recovery magic, can he accomplish his peace? Or will the misunderstandings continue to pile up and will he be branded as a Rebel?

Another light-hearted comedy founded on misunderstandings and a dense MC.

If you read any of the novels on the Recommendation's list, you know what to expect. Also, if you like these kind of novels or not.

Minimal descriptions, fast paced and the story doesn't really matter, nor does it takes itself serious. Precisely why this is good while some other novels in the same manner are not: Making jokes and funny situations is the core of it. Chapters are a little on the short side, though.

I've only read 11 chapters so far... more>> but enjoyed it a lot. Got what I expected and will keep following. Translation is also on point. <<less

I saw a review that made me feel obliged to say this because of a 1 star review that got the premise completely opposite what it's supposed to be:

This is a protagonist who from the start (and as implied by every chapter title) sucks up to everyone he meets because he's weak and an idiot. However, he's such an idiot that he doesn't realize that what he tries to do is impossible, and ends up succeeding, so everyone loves him and worships him because he can create miracles. It's... more>> a caricature/parody on the "lacking in common sense" type of protagonist. Unlike most of those, however, the story is relatively short and sweet and never tries to make you think the protagonist is smart. And the things he gets praised for are honestly miraculous. And... he grows as a person, even if he doesn't really grow in intelligence.

The biggest difference between this and 99% of similar novels, and the reason I give it 5 stars, is that it doesn't take itself seriously and doesn't last long enough to get tired of the dumb jokes. <<less

It is time to peacefully make war ✌️. Gotta love the MC. This is truly a textbook story of a good natured airhead stumbling into overthrowing a terrible country.

Started out as a nice snack-read comedy of misunderstandings.

The end was just a truckload of WTF piled upon a multi-car Colorado Highway pile-up of tractor-trailers loaded with WTF. There's clever-clever comedy (which is how it started), then there's the author huffing a load of methamphetamines before binging on trap-hentai, then deciding that it would be a good idea to write a bunch of chapters based on his newly awakened perverse transgender MtF pregnancy fetish (how it ended).

I hope for the sake of humanity that the publisher who thought fit to... more>> adapt this into a light novel decides to end it at the point it should have ended, not the tranny pregnancy bits. And yes, I spoiled that for you, because seriously, I hope his LN editor donkey punched him in the head until he vomited before making him revise those last few chapters. <<less

This is a cute little story that won't hold your attention long.

There is no drama, the plot progresses very fast, and much of the humor (and plot) is based on misunderstandings.

Everything gets resolved very fast and by chapter 3 the people that were ready to kill him worship him, are super loyal, have finished building waterways, he became basically the head of a new religion, and his domain is transformed. That's a lot to fit in the two previous chapters... And no, chapters aren't that long, they are actually VERY... more>> short (a lot are 500-600 words long between a third to a fourth of an average LN chapter, this review is 367 words long, so you got a bit more than half a chapter here).

So a lot just magically happens and people switch opinions like socks, strangers approach him like he is a god on their first meeting to speed things up, and a lot of things are done in between chapters to speed stuff even more.

Misunderstandings are the law, the story is built so that it can only progress through those. That's actually how the novel is sold, so that's understandable, and you will enjoy the novel more if this is your thing.

The misunderstansings are necessary because the MC is incompetent and a scaredy cat, but he will keep doing things that are competent and require self confidence while all that will be sold to us as his weakness acting up. It's just not believable, it's trying too hard to push those as "misunderstandings" on us.

I personally checked it out for the kingdom building stuff. But it's shallow, so very very shallow that you won't find anything you like there if this is what interests you. On the other hands, if ridiculous misundertandings are your cup of tea... That's the novel for you.

This, frankly, isn't worth anything close to 5, nor is it worth a 1. So I'm giving it a 3.

Easy to read, cringy, forgetable with bite size chapters.

I think I already forgot half of what I read. Even the MC's name. And I started writting this review right after finishing binging a chunck of chapters. <<less

Was a decent tongue in cheek comedy for the first two thirds, but then it devolved into absolutely insane nonsense. It frankly left me disgusted with the whole work, and I don't say that lightly.

Spoiler

In the last arc, the main character loses their final shred of intelligence, suddenly becomes able to create black holes and create nuclear fission. They fight the tyrant king of the empire who likewise can cast "nuclear light", cause earthquakes all over the world and vaporize millions. Oh and by the way that same old king then turns into a big-titted goddess and has a baby with the main character in another dimension. Yes, the main character comes back after seeing that dimension, but STILL. What. The. Actual. F.

If you still decide to read this, I strongly encourage you to stop before the last arc, right after chapter 26. <<less

It seems that people are misunderstanding this novel.

This is a crack-comedy novel.

The point of this novel is not the MC being dense or the misunderstandings that happen, is about how unreal, ridiculous and absurd are the situations that happen.

... more>> Of course the MC is an idiot, of course the plot and story are shallow, this is a purely comedy story, and they do the comedy part extremely well.

Note: I pointed out the MC being dense and the misunderstandings not because they are meaningless, but because some people may read the reviews and come to the wrong conclusion. This is not a novel trying to have a good story but having a dumb MC, this is a novel trying to have a joke story with a dumb MC <<less

This novel start out ordinary where MC is dumb and lack common sense just like most other novel with super dense protagonist. The author somehow loves to add the word "worse" and it somehow ruins this novel. At first, this novel looks ordinary but near the ending, the story becomes epic

Epic battle just like battle in Invisible Dragon, but unfortunately this novel still lacks something and can only reach the surface of greatness from Invisible Dragon. That's why I only give rating of 4 stars. When I read Invisible Dragon I ROFL but this novel almost success make me LOL, it just like when you almost reaching the peak, it just dive down, still lacking a bit more
