Quick Transmigration: Face Slapping The Second Female Lead

Description

Links are NOT allowed. Format your description nicely so people can easily read them. Please use proper spacing and paragraphs.

On what basis is a golden finger or a new life necessary once you transmigrate? On what basis should a transmigrated cannon fodder definitely counterattack?

Is peacefully staying as a cannon fodder too much to ask for? Why come out and wreck everything? Slags….. The Male Lead is dead because of you, the world is even collapsing, okay?!

In order to earn Points, every time she enters a new world, Xia Liang expresses that she completes her missions very seriously, face slapping those secondary female characters who wish to counterattack, setting order to all the chaos, restoring the plot, and avoiding the collapse of the worlds.

As for why the Male Leads all fell in love with me, that was actually an accident. Em, it’s just, aren’t these accidents a little bit too many…

God, This is AMAZING AND SO FUNNY!! Moreover, I love how she does not fall in love with him in the first world. It is more like a gradual thing and so, when she does fall in love, she falls HARD. Also, in some worlds, she is the one saving/helping the ML. I would honestly recommend this.

I think the best part is that she doesn't give a f*ck about anyone but the ML but in a cute way. She only has feelings for him and she is not shy... more>> about it, at all. They are both shameless in an utterly loving way. <<less

What can I say about this absolutely marvelous novel that hasn't been said before? My brain nearly melted MTLing this novel, but still I pushed through because This. Was. Crack.

Read this novel if you like:

    • Yandere female leads. Yeah, there aren't that many of those in Chinese novels, I find. Usually, female leads take a couple thousand chapters to fall in love with their obsessed male leads, leading us readers to wonder why there's even a romance tag on stories like that. Not this one. Our female lead falls pretty quickly (within ~5 arcs) and she falls HARD.
    • Shameless female leads. Now, our female lead isn't shameless because she chooses to be. No, our female lead starts off the story like a blank piece of paper, a completely emotionless world-hopper. Through her interactions with the ML, she gradually develops feelings and emotions. Remember that bit about her being a yandere? Yeah, she doesn't understand what the proper protocol is to pursue someone, so whenever she sees our ML, she just goes out and... uh... *coughs
    • 1v1 no 3rd wheels! I'm not sure why this story is called face slapping the second female lead. There's actually not much face slapping that goes on. Usually, the FL finds her ML, they proceed to feed us tons of dog food, and if there's any face slapping, it's usually incidental to all this.
    • Love-centred plot line. YUP, there's not much plot to this. Actually, scratch that - there's a pretty clever overarching plot behind the mystery of who is the ML, and it's really consistent and beautiful, so major props to the author for that. It wasn't scrambled together last minute to end the series, that's for sure. Anyways, during each of the arcs, there's usually a mission of sorts that the FL has to complete. But given our FL's temperament... as soon as she sees ML.... what mission? There's missions? LOL
What are you waiting for? Get reading! If you're going to pick a novel to suffer through MTL, this is it people. You will absolutely fall in love with these two precious babies.

The MC of the novel is a kickass!! Well its very entertaining. Her goal was focus on gaining more points at first but as the story goes on it focus on finding his husband. And what funny is after overcoming her shy personality she was the one who always suggest on rolling sheets with the ML after she find him. It's a very funny and entertaining novel that I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO READ. As for the translation of it, I think it's fine but hoping for more improvement in the... more>> future. <<less

QT: face-slapping the second female lead... the title shoud be changed to QT: seducing the male lead, or QT: feeding dog food with the meale lead! As a QT, we will encounter all the cliché worlds, but as in every QT novel, the author develops the story in each world in a completely different way to other novels, I don't see why people always criticize that.

Xia Liang starts as an unfeeling woman obsessed with gaining points and completing missions, but as she interacts with the ML in every world she... more>> starts having favorable emotions towards him and finally falls in love. We see how her emotions develop and go through several stages, and not only towards ML but later also towards people who cherish her in each world. Their interactions are simply cute and lovely (and sometimes hot).

Every world is entertaining by itself and feeds you a good amount of dog food, it's interesing to see how their characters change according to each world's dynamics and their way of interacting and hooking up will always feel novel. It doesn't contain drama, and although they might face some difficulties there's never a feeling of crisis, so you can just take it a a lighthearted read for when you are not feeling in the mood of sth complicated.

The truth behind this QT will be slowly unveiled, and although there are some things I didn't really get in the last arc regarding the truth behind everything the author tried to make it rather rational/logical... bearing in mind that a QT escapes from all logic and common sense. Overall a very enjoyable read, you can take your time and read the arcs as you like so it won't feel that long either. <<less

I totally recommend this novel! This is the third novel with the same quick transmigration theme I read. The story is amazing and very interesting. At first, you'll felt like she was a blank paper at the beginning but as the time goes by you'll be able to see how her character develop and gain emotion. All of this was thanks to our male lead.

What I also found amusing was this two main character are both yandere, they can't stand someone will approached their beloved! (Lololol)

It would be great... more>> if someone will continue translating this wonderful novel! <<less

This story is really interesting. The story is about a girl called Liang with a system who transmigrates into many worlds with different missions and tasks to be completed. The male lead appears with different identity in every world. Until now, there isn't specific details about the ML. But the plot is really worth to read so far. Highly recommended!

This novel is so bad that I couldn't even bear to read it after ten chapters. I'll tell you why. Also, please know that this is my opinion and it doesn't mean others would agree with me. I might have found this novel to be poorly written but for some, it might just be their most favorite book ever. Now, lets discuss why this novel is a complete waste of time.

    • The lack of originality: I can talk about this in all aspects. Everyone knows that this trope of system transmigration is active right now, but the same things have been repeating again and again. Go into the world, find the love interest, smack the antagonist, happy ending. How many arcs with the same scenario can you handle?
    • The characters: They are so, so poorly written that if I bought this novel in paperback, I'd use it as toilet paper. The female lead is a block of wood ice, high IQ, low EQ, and utterly bland. She's as plain as a blank sheet of paper. The male lead is your standard wooden ice block who catches feelings for her in less than 12 hours (in which they rode a horse for ~6 hours, what did he fall in love with? Her riding skill? Ohhh.) The expressions the author used to describe the male leader's feelings are just... So over the top. The FL ends up getting hurt and he feels "saddened", "madness consumes him", "gut wrenching pain", "rage" and yada yada. I wouldn't have been so bothered by the usage of such (emotionally) strong words if they had been lovers for maybe ten years, two years, or hell, even one year. But he JUST MET HER. It hadn't even been a day! There was no emotional development but he fell in love with her. What the f*ck.
    • The female lead: I know I'm repeating the previous point but I need to write what kind of a sh*t character she is. The first chapter, you get to know the following about her: (what the author wants you to think) she's cool, intelligent, uncaring of the annoying stuff, calculating, virg*n, strong, amazing. What you come to understand: She's more s*upid than a brick, her thought process would be looked through by a 5-year-old, her "low EQ" characteristic just adds to her s*upidity. She trusts the male lead so much, where did it come from? She hates being touched but all of a sudden, in this world, she's alright with it but in all the previous missions she had done, she never allowed it to happen?! And the reason she likes being touched is because her host's brother patted her head. You're going to tell me that the possible hundreds of years she's been doing missions, not one relative of her host touched her affectionately? If you do, you're as dumb as her.
    • The Male Lead: An ice block, cold, cool, calculating, virg*n, loyal, strong, amazing. Sounds familiar? Did the author just make her leads carbon copies of each other? Damn, plot twist, they're clones! *Surprised pikachu face* Jokes aside, if he's so dreamy, why did he just read her eyes all the damn time instead of talking to her and getting to know her before falling in love like NORMAL people, stare at her like a f*cking stalker, and fall in "love" after speaking to her twice?! She did say touching things those two times and that's what made you fall?! How the hell are you a general?! He was starved of love, I get it, but wouldn't his love at first touching-dialogue syndrome make him a weak ass general? Both of them are ice block who melt for each other. How f*cking romantic, am I right?
    • The writing: Where is the world building? It would be hard to do that in a world hopping novel but it should at least be there, but there isn't even an attempt. Character development? What's that? Never heard of it. Can it be eaten? Characters who aren't cardboard cutouts? Hmmm, that's possible? And what about something other than shitty romance? How about exploring the other genres (cause new world, new opportunities, right?) from the different worlds they go through? No? Okay. And how about actually making the charcaters a bit flawed and organic so the readers could feel attached? Uh, nope? Alright, cool.
    • Unexplored ideas: You know what a world hopping novel entails? A whole new world to explore! BUT the author is so bad at writing that it is a constant flow of the same ideas. No improvement at all.
What did I end up actually liking, you might ask?

    • The translation quality. If give it a solid 4/5. But you chose a bad novel to invest your skills in.
That's it. Hopefully you might just keep an open mind and carefully think through the points I gave and ask yourself if they make sense. Don't just jump to defend it without thinking through.

I can honestly post this review on almost all world hopping novels and it would still fit right in. Smh.

The MC is a serious chick who's goal is to get as much points as she can while beating off those who ruin the original timeline. It's cool that she has the option to choose the difficulty/identity of the role she's taking.

The plot is interesting. The translation is ok, but tenses keep changing? :/ It feels like there could be some improvements on quality.

This is a painfully fluffy transmigration/romance/comedy with the smallest dash of drama and adventure thrown in.

I liked the MC at first. She was a physical, serious person focused on her task, and she planned to do everything without loving on a love interest to do everything for her. Unfortunately, the ML randomly falls in love with her for absolutely no reason at all and does most of her job for himself. She still has a cool moment at the end of the first arc. In the very beginning of the... more>> second arc, the MC contributes a little--that's it. The rest of the arc is spent on her and the ML pa pa pa-ing all the time, and he does EVERYTHING for her until the arc abruptly comes to an end.

The MC doesn't understand romance, the ML goes yandere fast and hard, and the system is always trying to get the MC to have s*x... Well, the system is pretty unique in that regard. No other characters have any depth or description and hardly act as decorations to the lead characters.

The drama is weak. The action is confusing and weak. So far, the third world has a more interesting set up, but that's all. There's no imagery to enjoy either. Rather than a story, this just feels like an awkward fluff romance that was somehow squished into a transmigration setting. There appears to be some planning going on behind the scenes, but there's nothing to like about the series so far except the cat in the third arc. Although the MC was likeable early on, that idea was ended in the second arc.

Where did the cool, kick-ass, tough, and clever MC I was looking forward to go?

I'm going to give the third arc a chance (because of the cat and mystery theme), but I may consider dropping it after that.

EDIT: I read the entirety of the third arc, and the series has only gotten worse. Not only does the MC lose all of her intelligence, but so does the ML. He's even supposed to be a detective! While there are much easier ways to catch the villains and cause minimal harm, he doesn't do that at all. Of course, this may be because he spends all of his time LUSTING AFTER A CAT. The cat even begins to return his feelings? Even when that arc ends on a sad note, the author ruins it by putting in bonus chapters about what if the MC turned into a cat-eared human and their life revolves around daily s*x.

Any respect I had for this series is gone. DROPPED. This series is probably only meant for people who want nonsensical stories with a fluffy, dumb couple and an MC who is completely dependent on the ML. Definitely not my cup of tea. <<less

This novel is perfect if you guys want to read different plots and fluffy love story... it is worth reading a MTL though it may be hard to understoon sometimes but you will get the idea of the story.

Thought this novel has many chapters but ut is satisfying to read, the realation between the MC and the ML is not at all lovey dovey the author also puts different struggles between the couple in different worlds such as disappointment and disturbing characteristics of the ML.

I thought this would be a really good novel because of all the amazing reviews and the number of chapters, but I'm so sorry, I can't even finish the first arc. The romance is so unbelievably off-putting I cannot. I know I've only read like half of the arc so maybe my judgement isn't the best but I hate the romance.

Basically, she was like "Hey, I'm loyal to you (as a soldier under his command) and I care about your happiness." then the ML is like "omg someone cares about... more>> my happiness???!!" Later on, she found some food and gave it to him first since he's the general and he declined and told them to eat it instead, so she gave it to 'her' brother and he's like "omg why did she take it back??" and is all upset about the f*cking food. Then they were on the lookout in the night and he's hugging her for some reason and doesn't let go when she tries to move. He talks about how pretty and smooth her neck is (wtf??) and how she smells. Then she saves his life lol and BAM HE'S IN LOVE.

Since she's injured she's always in bed, and for some reason, he's always like holding her whilst she's sitting in her bed idk? This is a personal opinion but he's so f*cking creepy and weird. He's always calling her "My Xia Liang" in his head. Here's a quote lmao "His Xia Liang was so special. Her thoughts are always unique and interesting." Do you know what she said? She basically said this porridge tastes like shit. And the creepy part.... Here's another quote. "He wanted so bad to kiss her lips violently to get rid of her calmness, to make her blush, to make her groan for s*x under his body." EWWWW HE'S SO CREEPY Y'ALL THEY JUST MET. THIS bit*h IS SO WEIRD I HATE HIM.

There has been literally ZERO romance between them and he says this. HELL NO!

As for the MC.... She's just boring. They tried to make her cold and indifferent character but... no.

Anyways I don't like it. The romance is horrible and it's the main part. <<less

Well, to start with, I read this because I was influenced by the first few reviews. The 5 stars and all the compliments for the novel.

However -

Jesus christ, it was such a big mistake. I regretted not reading the rest of the reviews which ranged from 1-2 stars. If I had read those before reading this novel I would've saved so much time.

I thought that the female lead would be as 'awesome' as what the reviews said but no. She wasn't. I understand that she's a blank piece of paper... more>> at the early arcs, aside from being cold and being credit-crazed, there was nothing interesting in her.

Alright, it was the first arc. I told myself to give the novel the benefit of the doubt. But boy was I further mistaken. Instead of improving, the FL just went straight to the black plastic tube thing you see on the roads. It was horrible, her IQ went down the drain.

Spoiler

The second arc, ah. What was there to see? Right, the pa pa pa-ing. What else? Oh right, she died. Then? The world collapsed because of the ml.

[collapse]

Was that summary such a bore and difficult to understand? If yes, then that's the whole point.

What was I supposed to expect from a QT novel which has roughly about 20 chapters in each arc? I get that the purpose of a Quick Transmigration is well, to be quick lol. but who falls in love and becomes borderline s*x depraved from the initial cold persona in less than a day?

I would've paid it no mind if they already knew each other from previous lifetimes and they already had a strong connection. But they didn't, the FL and ML does have a connection to each other, but that link was supposed to be weak at the start.

What did the tags say? Calm Protagonist? Haha, that's funny. No one was calm in what I've read. Their emotions are a whole ride of roller-coaster. One second it's flat and straight, the next it would be all twirls and heart-jumping and heart-wrenching and consumed with rage.

What I want to say is that the plot was all over the place, and the character building was like scribbles on paper.

Of course, these are my opinion and I meant no offense to those that liked this novel.

If you are the type to like reading;

    • a fast-paced QT novel where the ML falls in love in less than 5 hours upon meeting the fl, this is for you.
    • a QT novel where the FL was supposed to be cold and unfeeling but was instead a character from high IQ, low EQ to low IQ, low EQ, this is for you.
The translation was 4/5. The first 7-8 chapters were a bit jumbled but it improves from ch9+ <<less

She's absolutely adorable but that wasn't what hooked me. I thought she would remain smart when she falls in love with the ML but boi was I wrong. I'm into the 2nd world and she finally starts to feel something for the ML but somehow her IQ lowered so much. Both of them are hella cute, however the ML starts to take over what she's supposed to be doing and that just not it for me.

The story began with her choosing the hardest way to solve the 1st world's problem.... more>> On the 2nd world she was pretty wise and knew what she had to do. BUT! Midway the 2nd story she completely relies on the ML to solve the story for her and I get that she's suppose to be naive when it comes to love, but it just pushing it. It annoys tf out of me.

Its sweet and full of fluffy scenarios but those scenes takes over the whole story. <<less

I cannot get pass chapter 10. It’s that bad. The translator does a great job on a very not great story.

I always feel apprehensive about stories with 1000+ chapters because every time I read them, as the author usually messes up with a plot or characters. But this is a QT, so multiple worlds and plots in one. Great? No.

the MC. There is a difference between a kick-ass and a kick-ass like Vin Diesel as Dominic Toretto from Fast and Furious 5, 6, or 7. It’s a very shallow, not-like-other-badasses,... more>> SuPer KoOl badass. Very plastic, not fantastic. Doesn’t feel like a three dimensional character, you know? You hate others touching you in other worlds, but this one world with the ML is 1328% ok? You are a cool minded character *allegedly* whose main purpose is collecting points. Why are OOCing from yOuR OwN character when you meet the ML and hang out with him for a few hours? Jeez.

The ML. Umm... Cliche? Cool, respected by all, strong in all aspects, handsome, smart fella. Possessive with the MC, loves her unconditionally. Falls in love with MC in like 10 hours because her eyes are so clear, clean, beautiful, like an unpolluted River, like the the most precious jade, they shine like a polished bowling ball, etc. The ML is a lot like the MC in some senses.

the story. It’s just one big QT cliche.

I always have a problem when a novel has a 1000 chapters and the main couple develops feelings towards each other in the first 10 chapters or less than 24 hours in the plot. This just ain’t it for me. There are better QT novels, and this one is quite lacking in comparison. I would give it 2 stars because I feel bad for putting 1 star because I know that the translator is doing their best, but what I have read so far is so unpromising and disappointing that I can’t. <<less

I was excited to read more after the first arc, 'maybe it will gradually improve.' I thought.

Who knows it would just get worse. It is too cringey for me. It can hold the reputation of 'romance fiction' well. Very, 100%, fictional.

The way the FL is too much of a romance idiot is just TOO impossible. As if she was a shut-in all her life, never do anything except reading educational textbooks about machines.

... more>> And the translations.. I hope it will improve. Maybe by then everyone can enjoy reading it.

Also, Im not sure if it is the work of the translator or the author herself but--

Imagine, someone were stabbed.

Would they scream 'ouch!' ?

It would be funny to see :'v <<less

I give this story a 3/5. It is okay for what it is. A transmigration love story with a repeating ML dosed with a little papapa (its not explicit so dw your virg*n soul if you want fluff, its SUPER FLUFFY)

  • Characters
    Spoiler

I enjoyed the character growth of the FL, she goes from basically an unfeeling robot and learns how to experience emotions.

(takes about 2 arcs so give it time) Some might be impatient 40 chapters in but just give it a minute and the FL evolves from a generic cold unfeeling ice block into.... a ML obsessed yandere.

Yes I said FEMALE YANDERE LEAD. Which for me, I love. It was really refreshing to have this type of lead in my opinion. It is always the ML who leans crazy possessive and obsessed.

The ML on the other hand is still pretty cliche / generic but hey... these things become popular for a reason, amiright? Lol. So I don't really mind this part but for some who want a different type of male lead they might be a little bummed.

    [collapse]

I also enjoyed some of the world settings. The setting of quite a few arcs was pretty fresh for me so it gave me something to sort of look forward too while reading a new arc. However, this is where the rating drops... the author had some great ideas for each arc but the execution came across very rushed and anticlimatic. The world building is almost nonexistent or rushed, by this I mean important scenes and details are time skipped or we are told what happens later on in a few sentences. The author spent too much time writing out the dog food romance between the leads and not enough time actually writing more details into each arc, so if you want fluff and not many details this is perfect for you.

Yeah I know it's a fast wear/quick transmigration but I still know these arcs can be short but also well fleshed out and not feel rushed or lack details. The author time skips over important scenes, and the endings of most of the arcs is abrupt. Like.. you never get a full satisfying ending to the story, it almost seems to just randomly end. A few times I thought I accidently skipped a chapter! Also, the elements of missions takes a HUGE backburner and the system mostly disappears about 200+ chapters in. I could almost forget it is a quick transmigration and just think it was a collection of short stories if it wasn't for the FL and ML being the same people.

I will say I guess the focus of this entire story isn't on missions or the system but just on the FL and ML being in love and feeding dog food to the readers. So don't expect much "plot" I guess? Unless you count dog food in different settings as plot.
Also the title of this novel confuses me, I was expecting face slapping and a second female lead in each arc but.. again about 100+ chapters in this element ALSO VANISHES. Like.. why even name the novel this lmao? There isn't really any satisfying face slapping... or really any face slapping and also I don't EVER see another female lead.. lol. What face slapping? What missions? What coIlaspe of worlds/restoring the plot?? NONE OF THIS HAPPENS AFTER THE FIRST FEW ARCS LMAO. I will again stress the plot is just DOG FOOD sprinkled with transmigration elements.

Maybe the story will change to add more details and better arc endings later on but... at this point idk man. I wanna drop this novel cause I am bored just reading about how much in love these two are but at the same time I want to plow through and see if it changes? I keep reading for a reason so.. it cant be too terrible a story... right?... right?!

I enjoyed the first arc, but after that... It became bad. There are WAY better transmigration system stories than this.

Okay, first of all the story does not start with an introduction of how the MC died or how she became part of the transmigration system. It just starts a bit later with her probably having already finished ~3 stories perhaps. It doesn't even explain why she's trying to earn points for completing the story or what it's used for but that she is hungry for the points (but it's... more>> as if later on she's not that hungry for it because she spends a lot of them to aid her in her quests). I just find that the story is somewhat written with many holes. You won't really notice the problems in arc one, but once you enter arc 2, the plot becomes very cliché. The author does not seem to know how to write, because it's as if he just casually throws interactions which imply s*x, but you have to probably read twice in case you missed what was impliedly said. I don't know, I just find the 2nd arc and the romance aspect of the story very cringe.

My second problem with this is that I really don't like the transmigration system that she is paired up with. That character is probably the most annoying part of the story.

I'm not going to say that this story was tr*sh, but it's definitely not something I'd continue reading or would re-read. The reason how or why the MC fell in love with the ML is just... so lacking. The author builds up the MC to be someone cold and indifferent, but suddenly MC quickly falls in love with the ML in the easiest and fastest way possible. Also, the arcs are very short and it does not do justice to the plot. I guess this has been a very huge disappointment for me... <<less

I dunno I feel bored reading this because the Female Lead is so boring.. Yep I know her chara introduction is cold and unfeeling who cares only about mission, but I dunno I just don't like her reactions to what is happening.. Also I am kinda dissapointed with her that she left the 1st world just like that, she just used the ML and left him lol.. Also the ML falls in Love with her in the 1st world too fast.. Maybe will read again after more chapters but for... more>> now I will drop this. <<less
