Not bad.

Pros

    • Guy probably knows what he's doing lived for like ten (10) years before fighting the Hulk.
    • There's no B.S "I had X with me in the future. I now have X in the past/present."
    • MC doesn't get O.P powers for changing what little time he's spent in the past.
    • We get a brief but basic introduction to MC's preapocalypse past.
    • Not a harem...... so far.
Cons

    • There are only 5 chapters out. I want more.
    • Minor and ignorable grammar errors. Like 3 maybe 5 tops...... Unless I'm seeing things.
    • Spoiler

Fool! What are you doing looking in here tsk tsk.

      [collapse]
Anyways not enough chapter for there to be any significant Cons so until 20ish chapters no star rating.

Actually it should be a 3 star but still rated it 4 because it is a light easy read if you want a change of pace from usually well tense novels. MC is alright not the brightest bulb but not a dimwit either he can be considered well merchant like. Romantic interest is annoying though an young adult acting like 5 year old (typical airhead) and although she have abilities to heal MC but so far she have done more harm (potential harm) than good even more annoying is MC... more>> goes above and beyond to help her and breaks his character as a merchant. The familiars have way more personality and individuality then the RI. Overall it's a nice light read if you don't mind the technicalities. Read it for a change of pace. <<less

Better than God and Devil World for now at least. MC shows knowhow of the future enough to capture opportunities but he is not omniscient and in line with his identity as a small merchant makes mistakes aside from that you can criticize his choices only in that he acts according to his preferences and tends to forget that while starter enemies are weak he is weaker.

Remains to be seen how it will continue but for now it is a solid average 2.7

It started good, MC tries to do his best in his second play through.

Why did I rate it low?

First, because of unoriginality. There is basically almost nothing new, and the common jokes are all there. For example, jokes about MC being single, "how dare that guy have fun with woman X while I'm single and sad!"

... more>> Secondly, usage of plot devices to lower MC reward, or increase it. For example, MC beat 100 monsters, but some other monsters attac and he lost exactly 50% of loot.

Thirdly, the MC being common dense single character. He doesn't make any moves, doesn't show romantic interest. I bet in a couple of chapters the girl will like him and he probably wouldn't realize that.

Fourthly, The MC break character. The premise beings someone who survived for ten years, a hardened veteran. What would someone like that do when he has a chance? Maximize his advantage to survive of course. But when he meets random girl X, he decides to abandon his plan, risk himself and more, only so that she can follow him. Why not tell her to wait/work hard while he does what he needs to do? Someone like that shouldn't become the strongest/most accomplished/w.e... I seriously hope he dies because of that, Because he wasn't strong enough to face things when needed.

Anyway, for someone who only needs to shut off his brain, and read the common troupes, this might not be that bad. <<less

It's a pretty good read so far. The main character was super weak in his past life so he's still taking risks right now to somehow get stronger.

The system is a complete mystery. We have no idea why things are so game-like. They have things like walking dead and zergs but none of it is explained. 4/5 so far and I'm still reading it to feed my curiosity.

Chapter 60:

This is a fun story that doesn't sink into melodrama, an easy light read.

The setting is modern post-apocalypse, super-power "evolutions", aliens who trade power boosters and food with only a few people, and a main character who has come back in time.

... more>> To me, it reads a lot like LitRPG without too much focus on hard numbers (I assume they are there, just not the main focus for the reader).

Chapter 133

There are some great characters and story elements here. However, I am finding the story hard to read now.

I suspect it may be the pacing. The author seems to drag out some scenes beyond any point of interest, and totally botches the opportunity to make other scenes exciting and instead makes them dull and disappointing. My original rating was 4/5. I have to now change it to 3/5, possibly dropping it further if the writing degrades further. <<less

MC like to change his decision very much.
Spoiler

MC changed his plan for a girl just because, No other reason. MC portrays as a ruthless men but does s*upid things, not only helping a healer girl (which is rare, which I get) but he didn't had to 'raise' her. Girl being naive and s*upid (the 'innocent' type).

A typical story that started off with the MC returning back to 10 years ago and wanted to change from being the bottom figure. Having the knowledge of his past life helped the MC to get powerful and capture those opportunities that he had missed out in the past. MC also had recruited animals to help him that makes the story even funnier. As the story progressed, MC accidentally encountered monsters that were said to appear in a few more years. Furthermore, it seemed to be that his rebirth had... more>> caused the monster to come out faster as well. Overall, an easy light novel to read and binge on.

Spoiler

After reading book 3 (chapter 120-179), the MC had a huge change and this is where the story gets interesting. MC finally had ability besides those animals or treasures to help him. The story also introduced a new type of monsters that were said to be the most powerful creatures during his past life. For those who are interested in this story, I do recommend people to purchase book 3 or wait for it to be out. :)

MC is weaker than I thought. The author put a lot of handicaps on MC. It seems like. Even though he has gone back in time he doesn't have the evolving ability. No matter how much treasures and elixirs you have, its, after all, external help. You wont be as strong as the real evolver. I think not being able to evolve was a useless annoying handicap.

Started good, and still has good characters and story, but the pacing has become ridiculous. It is now so boring and disappointing, quickly losing any interest the creativity brings.

This story has a pretty interesting beginning that quickly devolves into aimless quests. The main character just tries to become strong to survive and there’s no real subplot to his actions. The series of challenges and lucky breaks seems so pointless without a more meaningful purpose.

ok.

Not that great not that bad. Like every other apocalyptic novel. There’s some grammar mistakes here and there but not bad. I don’t like the girl Yuan Rui she’s pretty useless 4 now. He’s a merchant so he can afford healing potions so even though she’s a healer and that’s rare and prized, not a lot of improvement in skill so far. She seems like she’ll do more harm then good. It’s weird becuz he’s supposed to be hardened by his 10 yrs of experience but he brought along her.... more>> And they’re traveling together??? Isn’t she safer back in the base and less of a drag if u don’t bring her. Every time he reminds her u gotta be tough it seems like it enters through one ear and out another. Some parts of the story r hard to follow along maybe it’s the translating but some of the skills seem too intricate to be understand. But then again maybe I’m just dumb. <<less
