It's not War and Peace or Shakespeare. It's from the author of God and Devil World that I loved, and while it doesn't have so many harem girls that you can't remember all their names or powers that are quite as amazing and cheaty (yet), it's a fun story. Most Chinese novels include the MC slapping the faces of all the bad guys, but this one has the MC slapping their bodies with a mf'ing minibus when he's angry. Light adventure, post apocalypse exploration, and although there's no romance yet there's cute girls who kick ass and villains who are mustache twirling evil. It's a really fun read, and if you're into the stuff I mentioned above then dive in. If you're not, this isn't the one that's going to change your mind.

The story is great. Many people may think the MCV/Bus is heavily OP so they may rate it low, but you have to understand this is part of the system. The great part is that he is trying to upgrade his genes so he can be more powerful so he doesn't need to stay inside the MCV all the time.

I ignored all the plot holes, cause I just love post apocalyptic novels. But author should have just sticked with the MC guns powers & tech plus a bit of healing cheat.

In this novel, physics and common sense were also zombified by a virus.

The author barely provides details about the setting making it incredibly hard to visualize the action.

For a story that revolves around a vehicle, the ground that the it travels on is simply described as a freeway and is very inconsistent on the amount of vehicles and obstructions on the road.

In the MCV's debut it gets tangled on heavy traffic wherein fleeing cars resort to cutting lanes to move forward while zombies are chasing them from behind. In such a situation the MC manages make a u-turn and drive against traffic to pick people up. Any driver can attest that this is impossible to do so with a sedan on a regular day, much less a 7-8 meter long minibus in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. Unless of course you wreck and run over all of the vehicles around you.

Following that, it shakes off all the zombies on it, makes another u-turn, and all of a sudden, all obstructions in front are gone and the MCV is zooming away to safety.

How many lanes is the freeway? Is the opposite side of the road accessible? How deep is the sidewalk and are there road barriers? What's on the side of the freeway? Buildings? Open spaces? What color is the fcking bus? The readers get none of that and instead we get useless information about how soft the seats are on the minibus.

Just not interesting enough as a story.

The premise is fine, with the MC tooling around in a post apocalyptic zombie filled world in a tank. It picks up a week before the End of the World, and MC gets advance notice the world is ending due to a story McGuffin. Then spends a while using his super power to modify a rental vehicle into a tank.

Well, for my taste it could have gone at a faster pace...... but it is still an enjoyable read. I did not encounter racism yet, but there was not one person who was not chinese till ch 303, so..... we will see! In all honesty, this story is a 3 stars AT ITS BEST. I say "AT IT'S BEST" because usually its a 1 and a half stars but it can kick it into gear with the fight scenes.

It falls back into a 1 1/2 stars after we get to the chapters that basically start looking like a wikipedia page because the author wants the reader to understand more of the story and really start to form a idea of what this would be like in modern scientific terms. The characters are pretty below average, I say this because there's always some arrogant fool that wants the MC's MCV, women, weapons, or all of the above. The male side characters don't even get that much time unless they're holding some type of weapon that the MC really likes.

The translation quality is pretty dope...........

Nice but definitely not perfect. There are some moments of MC being a total idio- wait scratch that half of the time MC is being an idiot, but the rest is him actually having a little if not huge brain. MC is calm too, not naive and helping a girl just because she's beautiful. All of the female in his team are useful they each have their own role

Girl 1 (His sister) are powerful combantans, Girl 2 have mind field and can detect enemies and read their intent and minds, girl 3 have exceptional medical knowledge and power. That's all I know on the girl (im only halfway the stories)

And other problem is that the MCV is not actually an MCV, because it doesnt built/construct things except for its upgrade. Well that's all.. I know almost everything I said is negative thing about this novel but I like the novel I can spend half a day just to read it. I encourage you to read even after you read my review and other negative review. Maybe you'll like it.

Novel started interesting but gradually becomes flat and uninspiring. Ignoring some obvious plot holes, MC is overly reliant on his MCV and guns despite his aspirations to be more self-reliant. The antagonists seem to follow a certain template and do not pose much threat to MC and his harem. Does not help that parts of the translation are kinda awkward.

Hmm, compare to his another novel My Girlfriend is Zombie, this novel feel like watered beer. Still funny but not have enough depth. But a fun and nice read, like always world goes to sh*t and MC is having a good time. LoL

It would be good if author just continued with fifth hors**en of apocalypse thing without these organizations because nothing changed, MC just has another reason to massacre towns. Not a novel for picky and serious readers; and thankfully I'm not one. I enjoyed this read, so far the story has been intersting although flaws are very apparent. If you are sick of the standard apocalypse themed webnovels then this may be for you, light and steady.

I liked it, but needs an editor - some things were a bit annoying "MC Brother" instead of "Brother MC, " or some sentences were back to front & if you re-arrange in your head it makes sense.. Other times I thought I was reading an MTL here. Some of the critics above do make sense after thinking about it & I am quite amazed I lasted to C189.. I guess in part because, I wanted to know what was going to happen..

The translation is good and the world building iawesome as well, the skill he gets is a huge cheat, but with these novels this happens a lot.

The characters can be pretty basic like a sister who listens to what ever he says, but they do grow in the story well.
