Read it if you're a helpless romantic & like:

    • An adorable tsundere baby
    • The FLUFFFFFFFF IT'S SO FLUFFY IM GONNA DIEEE *cough*
    • villainess stories
    • No undying white lotuses/sc*ms
    • A small plot twist to add a little spice in the story
    • Reading comments from MC & ML fans (especially the dad... LMAO)
    • Easy to mtl novel
*sigh*~~~ My heart has been healed. Although it's been a while since I used my brain to mtl novels but this one just wouldn't let me stop.

Welp, time to do an all-nighter on my essay now *salute*

Childish and a classic case of "if they're the enemy of the MC, they must be bad thus let's blacken them" and "since she's MC, let's twist it so she's actually a good character and they all should have loved her". Like XY, I don't blame him for treating MC the way he did in the beginning (other than the lunchbox thing, that was a bit overboard... at least he didn't throw it away in her face?). It's really really annoying having someone bother you every day chasing after you,... more>> especially for him since he's busy, and I'm sure he made his feelings clear to her in a respectful manner in the beginning. Plus, she bothers the woman he actually likes. He didn't know she was the one who saved him.

Similarly, his sister seems like she'd be a great character to befriend (until she started blackening). In the beginning she's described cheerful, positive, and assertive; all the characters of a powerful female role model. Plus she's very supportive and loyal. If I were her, I'd have hated MC too since all I know is she bothers my brother to no end.

And then QR... why did she have to be a hateful character??? It shows the author's inability to portray complexity in character and relationships, making all MC's enemies too easy to hate!! A more interesting story would be if they were all actually good characters yet our MC has to struggle to establish herself in all that.

And more on MC having it way too easy; what the heck is up with that koi fish physique?????? She's supposed to have come from an ordinary world right, why is there cultivation elements???? Everything flows smoothly from her from the start since she coincidentally has a super unique background (with the martial arts) that perfectly suits what she needed. Like uh, cheat. Although the Taoist stuff is kinda funny, why is that necessary... like her ship gets super powerful supporters because of her natural physique, what a cheat.

All that said, I did finish the chapters available, so it is a light and fairly entertaining read. Just beware, it's pretty shallow and childish. <<less

I'm just a sucker for light and fluffy novel that gives me so much satisfaction when I finished reading it.

Everyone got what deserve, the FL and ML with their little bun got their happy ending. The second ML and his lover also got their own bad ending. And the happiest of them all? The number one shipper of the FL and ML, the male lead's father ˘͈ᵕ˘͈

Unlike novels with 1000+ chapters, a lot of misunderstandings and schemes, with this novel you just got to take things real simple. Yes,... more>> there will a little bit of scheming but no misunderstanding at all. You just need to relax and enjoy their sweetness ‪♡ <<less

Not a bad novel, MC don't end up with the bastard childhood sweetheart but I don't agreed with two things:

First, Father Ye (second male lead (Ye Peicheng) 's father).

In this novel the villan is his elder son, Ye Peiquing but for me Father Ye is the villain too: He cheated on villan's mom and he favored more Ye Peicheng over Ye Peiquing, the later grow with grudge and jealousy making him the villain of this novel.

Can chinese authors stop making people who feel negative emotions villains? They are humans too,... more>> it's obvious Ye Peiquing would act as the bad guy because he is angry and will fight with Ye Peicheng because he doesn't see Ye Peicheng like his brother, he sees him as a competition since his childhood.

Second, and maybe this can be a spoiler:

Spoiler

Ye Peicheng is actually the male lead, he will end up with Moyu (MC).

At first I was glad that he was a gentleman with her but now that he is in a relationship with Moyu, he is a little overbearing.

MC wasn't looking for a romantic relationship yet Ye Peicheng wasn't going to accept a no for answer so he pestering her until she accepted him and now with just a few days of her being his girlfriend he's talking about marriage. Moyu was only a teenager when she transmigrated so it's obvious she doesn't want to marry but guess who doesn't let her express her opinion?

It's not bad, but also not that good. I feel like the theme and characters are somewhat cliché. I find the interaction between the MC and her child very boring. I don't really need 3 whole chapters on their cutesy cutesy acting.

The summary is surprisingly accurate...

Additional info:

- MC transmigrated to "the villainess"'s body and she's bound to fulfil the original's wish. No additional stuff like mission, reward or OOC ban.

... more>> - MC have Koi physique (bringing good luck), anyone that touch her would found $$$ lying on the ground, she could also bless objects and give blessings. But she never (couldn't?) bless herself.

- Smooth sailing journey, the antagonists are typical brainless mobs, ML's feelings for MC is skin deep at start (though it deepens), some lol! moments, overall it's pretty good but not the best of the best. (There's only 74 chapters and the events are quite compact so no draggy/useless wall of text which is a plus). <<less

Fluffy. Very fluffly.

I like the MC and I like the ML. They are decent characters, could have been developed more but very satisfied

with them individually. Not really loving how they became an official couple since the MC just kinda went with it and suddenly fell deeply in love.

Enjoyed the face-slapping in the story.

What I didn't appreciate:

    • The "original MC" aka real daughter, is this anti-climatic and throw-away villain. Could have done so much more.
    • The abruptness of MC accepting ML.
    • The "original ML's" falling immediately in love with MC after finding out truth. Like bruh, at least make some kind of progression. Like from hating her to not hating her to sympathizing to appreciating to loving.
    • Anti-climactic reveal of baby boi's origin
    • Hyping up characters only to be pushed aside by story
Did greatly enjoy the ending though, so sweet!!!

at the beginning it was amazing, but then it went to crap. Up until chapter 90 or so, the reactions of the crowd and interactions between characters seem believable and human. Then when it gets to a certain arc nothing anyone says seems logical. The villains are childish and s*upid with incredibly cliche and s*upid acts of revenge.

seriously what type of dog blood is this unrealistic bs. Another unrealistic is that all variety shows are live broadcasts just so the author can have the viewers type "funny" stuff in the chat. It feels so unneccesary, with no clear threat. Although fluffy is broing as f

It's very cute and fluffy, a lovely novel. It's a feel-good, light hearted novel, utterly optimistic in the MC's reactions and the way she triumphs over her enemies. It is absolutely shallow in plot or opposition, but what it sets out to do the novel does fabulously well. MC face-slapping her enemies is satisfying, the toddler is Meng/Moe incarnate, even the ML is cliche but still cool. It's the kind of novel you reach for after a long day, where you just wanna read something straightforward. There are some minor... more>> nonsensical things like MC's "lucky body" but overall it's a good fluff story.

My gripe would honestly be the translator splitting up the chapters. Nothing against her, and I'm sure she's lovely but you can like the person and dislike their actions/decisions too ¯_ (ツ) _/¯ rant underneath spoiler cut.

Spoiler

don't get me wrong, she does a fantastic job and I understand she wants compensation for her time and effort for translating. I totally get/support that and I understand splitting long chapters up, even if it's just for the pure fact you want people to support you on patreon. What I DON'T appreciate is how damn short the chapters are in the split up, killing the momentum of the story. Every single chapter is split into three parts, and those three parts are so short it's annoying. If you're going to split a single chapter up, why not split it into half? Why is every single chapter basically just 1 page of writing? I can totally understand and agree with the decision to paywall chapters that can entice people to pay if they want to read ahead and slowly release them for free for those who can't pay, but the decision to chop up the story to the extent where we artificially boost up the chapter amount waaaay beyond the actual amount just for profit annoys the hell out of me.

Let me first start by saying that I absolutely HATE novels where the reincarnated/transmigrated/future-seeing female lead ends up with the guy who treated her like absolute garbage just because "oh it was a misunderstanding- I was supposed to be an as*hole to her and not you" because, when all is said and done, the guy is just awful. Who wants a male lead with 0 morality and literally only treats one person like a human being? Talk about an obsessive sociopath.

So if you're like me, rejoice- this story isn't like... more>> that. Instead the FL isn't chasing anyone, she doesn't really care about love, tbh. Just wants to live happily and care for her son. My one criticism would be that it's not a particularly deep novel- no extreme motions, the crises aren't really dramatic or anything. It's kind of like a cup of tea in the early morning; comfortable and enjoyable but certainly won't get your emotions riled up.

________________________________

Edit: So I did end up rating this prematurely. After really finishing the novel and digesting it, I'd take my rating to a 3 at best, really more of a 2.7/2.8. As I mentioned before, I like the fact that she's not trying to chase anyone, nor are we dealing with the whole "ex comes back, cue misunderstanding" thing. But, I have to say, I'm rather annoyed that the author turned pretty much every character who wasn't in love with the MC into an actual villain, no matter how it conflicted with their back story/character design. And let's not even get into the fact that her abilities just seem to be growing whenever it's convenient because... plot.

But the ex wasn't actually that bad- he was an a**hole, sure, but who wouldn't be after basically being stalked? But he didn't suffer much or anything so I guess it's fine. What I can't understand at all, though, is
Spoiler

why the original body's adoptive parents conspired with the evil sister against the daughter they genuinely raised. Pretending their real daughter saved the ex rather than the original body serves no purpose and is just not a good decision. And don't tell me blood is thicker than water; as successful business owners, they couldn't have possibly thought their daughter, who they'd never met before (and had questionable enough character to falsely take credit for saving someone) was safer to hedge their bets on than the girl they raised/educated from birth. To top it off, they had to spend so many resources to hide the original body's recovery from the ex as opposed to the much easier and more useful move of using the injury to ingratiate themselves with the ex's family.

It was just a s*upid decision, especially considering the entire facade hinged on a bracelet.

All it did was make the original body's parents "bad guys" for no reason. Or maybe to justify them not helping her in her career or something? Who knows. But there certainly were better ways of having the original parents lean more towards the evil sister than the MC (like the very obvious fact that evil sister's boyfriend/fiancee has a multi-million dollar cooperation with their company).

[collapse]

But, once again, it's not an awful read. But there are plenty of book wear novels that are way better. Maybe as your first book wear it wouldn't be bad but, if you've read several, this story is just rehashing the usual tropes in much less creative or logical ways than other novels. <<less

Honestly had a lot of doubts coming into this story. Since it was a reincarnation story and had ceo in the title. Usually most of those stories tend to be very cliche and not written well. However this story surprised me.

First the FL has a child and it’s not like the typical stories where the FL gets drugged and mistaken as a prostitute, which leads to her sleeping with the male lead. Later gets a child and raises him and gets a position to work for his company..... yada yada.

Nah... more>> this girl has no idea who the baby’s father is and doesn’t really care and decides to raise the child. She’s very passionate about her work and doesn’t seem to focus on any men. She’s just trying to lay low and get her coins.

The male lead doesn’t seem to have any interest at first which I like. This guy didn’t even give any of these ladies the time of the day. Just when he’s working that’s the only time he pays attention. But slowly the ML is starting to pay attention to the FL. I like how nothing is forced and it seems like it’s going naturally.

Plus her moments with her child are too cute. Anyways if you’re into modern reincarnation stories that are actually good. This ones for you y’all! I breezed through this like in 3 days. It has really short chapters too. Anyways I hope they keep up this vibe so I can still say I enjoyed it to the very end. <<less

Oof. The chauvinism & r*pe apologism... no thank you. ☹️

A couple quotes:

Spoiler
  • Ch24: He said, “Women only need to resist when it comes to this kind of action.” This is the ML ‘educating’ the FL on how to film a bed scene. 😬
  • Ch42: He thought: ‘If she wasn’t a girl, I’m afraid she would’ve turned that block into rubble by now.’ This is after the FL uses martial arts to break a few slates.
  • Nearly every chapter: Luo Luo (2 yr old) wanting to grow up quickly so he can protect his mother. I just find this cnovel childcare trope of “son must protect weak single mother as man of house” icky.
  • r*pe drugs show up more than once

This novel is another transmigrated girl to an actress body but the difference is that it's a very short (74 chapters) and sweet story, no angst involved.

This was out for like 7 hours ago. In really grateful to the translator because he let this cute novel out.

This novel shames those typical transmigrate rebirth x ceo chuchu nivels that has thousands chapters. This one is simple and lovable. The characters are cute although you'll feel pity to some antagonists but everything's great the length of chapter are also great. I just wish there would have been extra chapters.

It was alright, pretty fluffy and cute but that was it. The romance wasn't really romance, it was more like mutual adoration/respect but ML and MC ended up together since they'd already had a kid together...

This novel has all the popular cnovel tropes where MC transmigrates in to the body of an actress and her love interest is a CEO/president/popular actor/random celebrity. Insert random cannon fodder, getting bashed on Weibo for nonsensical reasons, maybe already having a kid/getting pregnant, etc.

I like this one since the Female lead isn't chasing the one who rejected her. I really don't like novels where a girl is super selling herself and doing outrageous things just to get the male lead. Good thing this one isn't like that.

She was able to stand on her own and life a different life than the original character who doesn't love her child. Moyu here is a good mom and I like all scenes with the baby. The Film Emperor is a better... more>> catch of course compared to the CEO.

This novel is really really cute. What attracted me to read this novel is because of the baby, Luo luo. He’s so cute omg. From the summary, I thought that when the female main character transmigrated into the book it was way before she gave birth but in reality, she transmigrated and found herself in the second Male lead’s office. She took many precautions and from then try to help the original owner of the body to take revenge on the second Male lead and to become a film empress.

The... more>> female lead, Mo yu, is a very happy go lucky person. She is very lucky so whenever people touch her they tend to pick up money. She loves children and that is why she showed a lot of care to Luo Luo after she transmigrated. And Luo Luo is the one who made her feel accepted in this world. In career wise, when she first started she didn’t really know how to act well and she tries her best and take criticism well. Her personality helped her to be more accepted in the crew. Even though, she is happy go lucky but she is not dumb nor very smart. She knows that some people want to try to harm her and she tackles it on. I feel that her personality is someone who is very happy go lucky and will only worry about things when it is faced.

Our Male lead, the film emperor, is someone who is very cold to strangers but is a very meticulous person. I would say he has will power as well since he is persistent in chasing the female lead. The Male lead was attracted to the female lead because on the first drama they acted together the female lead suddenly passed her a box of cake and said that someone asked to passed to him. The female lead also wished him happy birthday and after seeing he is not willing to take the cake. She ate it happily in front of him.
Spoiler

In actual fact, before this incident the female lead received this box by an assistant of the second Male lead’s sister in hoping to frame her so that the Male lead will be angry and flare at her as she knew that the male lead just received a call from his father.

[collapse]
The Male lead got attracted to her interestingly because of how happily she ate and she slowly noticed her then.

The relationship development in this story isn’t very detailed honestly. Throughout the novel, the Male lead helps the female lead whenever she is in need of help. From the start, the female lead was very stiff in front of him to slowly accepting him. The Male lead then got attracted to her actions and then finding her slightly familiar which later proved his suspicion.

In actual fact, the writing style of this author isn’t very fantastic if compared to other authors like the author of Eight treasure Trousseau. It does not have a complicated and exciting plot like the novel, Princess Weiyang. But what I actually enjoyed the most is that it is not too complicated where problems don’t always come one after another. It is very sweet and heart warming.

In conclusion, if you were to compare with other novels this may be a 4 star but since I really enjoyed this novel I would rate this a 5 star. I would recommend this novel to anyone who’s looking for a heart warming and not complicated novel with a super cute baby. <<less

This ML got to be the most desirable one by far, his moral compass isn't off, not overbearing, not arrogant, treats the FL right (don't we all just stan a ML that can treat their girl right?!.... Feels like in CN WNs it's hard to come by) and doesn't let empty pride get in the way of him speaking his mind or be truthful.
FL fits ML so well, her bubbly outgoing charismatic, that makes both female and male swoon, with an open mind and broad heart she accepts the... more>> original host's child and uses her powers that was exploited in her original world for the innocent people in need, but will slap back when needed in limited amounts that only harms her opponents pride, not excessively ruin them downright. She's not obsessive over revenge and takes things her pace.

A ton of fluff but also steamy PG13 moments keeps a good overall balance; delivering enough plot, fan service and humor evenly balanced to the readers. Enjoyment rate is huge, devoured and almost caught up with the story in less than 6h

As for the cons, I suppose the antagonists are a bit low in EQ and IQ, they are the act first, think later and slap down hard (very sloppily at times) type. Do hope the FL & ML get to shine with the help of at least above mediocre cannon fodders.
Spoiler

The original host's crush/the original novel's ML and his sister were led around by the nose by the antagonists so easily without second guessing her true nature or motives but things only come to light later on after the transmigration happened and FL enlightens and hints slightly at the actual facts, finally getting those rusted dusty cobweb ridden gears in ML and his sister's brains turning.
There were a lot of times where I thought;"Seriously dude, you never considered that in the first place? And all thanks to your over confident arrogant self, you killed your life savior and fed her corpse to the dogs (also, yo, idc if you're an overbearing CEO, that's illegal) with THESE shitty reasons?
Like; first he bases his savior's identity by an unique bracelet (yeah sure, it has to be the one and only in the world *sarcastically eye roll*)
never questioned the antagonist's past, trusted her ENTIRELY based on the fact that he believed that she was his life savior, treated the original host like UTTER garbage, demeaning, ignoring and mistreating her way before she turned into a villainess thanks to the circumstances.
