I always have an issue with transmigration [to ancient times] novels where the main character transmigrates to her marriage day and she does NOTHING to try and escape it. Instead she makes every effort to make sure it goes ahead whilst annoying her cold husband-to-be. Seriously a woman from the 21st century is going to be desperate to marry a man who she does not know anything about other than he just coldly sentenced a woman to be brutally beaten to death, from a period in time when a husband... more>> beating/raping his wife was considered ok, AND then annoy him?

That is the set-up to this novel. <<less

Though the relationship between the two leads is progressing rather slowly, the novel itself is very enjoyable. MC always comes up with the most cunning plans to counter forces wishing her harm which brings in the element of suspense and pleases the heart. Moments with both leads are very sweet and adorable and makes you want to squish something to vent out all the sweetness. All characters have distinct personalities and you could tell that every one of them gradually grows throughout the story. MC's personality thankfully isn't weak, but... more>> courageous and witty. She treats enemies as should be and dotes on her friends and family. (kek Stepmother and sister) Unlike other novels, she thankfully doesn't break under pressure and does not fall under other men's charm. Something to point out is the speed the translated novel is coming out. A chapter a day. Other novels update a chapter every week, which is painstakingly long when faced against the most terrible catastrophe... called a freaking cliffhanger. Though there are frequent mistakes in uses of pronoun, the point is able to come across. Overall, the novel in my opinion deserves a rating close to 5/5. <<less

The power of MC should be taken very very lightly. I mean, she died while doing human experiment to implant chip of detection and encyclopedia of poison. While conveniently those chip could be made into portable kit instead. I don't get the need to make it implanted into human being in modern times?

The romance novel characteristic I really hate is here. MC is jealous by the mere existence of other girl. While she innocently/ignorantly shamelessly casually stay alone in the same chamber with other guy, embrace other guy, rely on and take liberty with of guy. It is questionable even in modern time, lest in ancient setting. Maybe she takes those other guy as family or friend as she claims, but really, really not smart at all.

The story is interesting, for now I have liked it a lot, I hope they give it more opportunities and read the novel before rating it, for now I will give it 5 stars and I hope it continues like this, when I finish it (I hope to do so) I will comment on this novel again

Hmm I don't know. I guess it lacks purpose. She just transmigrated onto the body of an unfortunate girl w a disgusting family then married a prince. That's it. There's no thrill or something (except for their wedding night, it's hilarious). Imma drop this one cause I can see where this is going. It's the usual imperial fight

ML feels somehow empty. There is nothing really likeable about him and yet MC falls in love? The pace of the story is good though.
