First, our MC, Shen Qiao, his weakness was that he was too kind and trusted everyone very easily letting his guard down which often resulted in him getting betrayed and taken advantage of. But of course we have this amazing character development of his. From a person who knew nothing about the world outside his sect and the schemes of the people, he gradually evolves into someone who, still caring and gentle but can see through others easily and despite falling to the lowest, rises again and proves himself worthy gaining (literally most of the people in the novel 's) respect. Shen Qiao is the character that I honestly look up to the most out of all the novels I've read in my life. Now, our ML, Yan Wushi, the thing I love the most about him is probably his confidence (and his reasoning abilities, of course XD). I won't say much about him since I want everyone to explore his character themselves, the only thing I would mention is that a person like Yan Wushi feels much more real than those 'yandere at first sight' or 'overly caring' ML's of other works and maybe that's the reason I like him much more despite all his awful deeds. And it was so satisfying to see a person as mighty and arrogant as our Yan-lang fall in love ♡_♡

The moment he gave my cinnamon to that f*cking rapist..... he knew my cinnamon won't be able to beat him and I get his personality and his character but that doesn't mean I don't get hurt. That betrayal was the turning point for my complicated feeling for ML.

That scene where MC lose break his martial art core, Desperate to fight and live was so heart wretching, especially with the flashback added.

Like Seriously, if MC didn't have the plot armour and get saved just think how this action could have lead to worst. If that f*cking rapist was successfully able to capture my cinnamon, a whole lot of worst situation could happen and MC would have suffer greatly. IDK if ML would have to save him (probably not but the possibility is not zero) but the whole thing I don't want to f*cking think about it.

Thankfully, MC was able to chase that bastard and though gravely injured, he also gain the real wisdom and power if the (forgot the name) book. I am happy MC was able to recover due to that and also got rid of the poison but then again it also lead to another tragedy that made me cry.

So, no mattet what MC gained, things could have been worst with a single mistakes in that fight leading MC to live life worst than hell.

Seriously, this guy...... ML once said that he never regretted giving MC to the rapist (though in extra it shown he did regret a little bit for the first time in life but not big enough to save MC)....... f*ck YOU!!! I do get his character, how he was made, free spirits, never look back and never regret and I like that character but having no regret and remorse for the bad hurtful thing you did to the person you like....... I just can't. I can't fully accept him, ever if MC like him. My conscience and bottom lime doesn't allow that. But he's also too charming and charismatic and the things he did for MC later on...... I can't fully hate him.

1st time was when ML betrayed MC..... it's was really heart breaking...... that scene, with MC martial arts gone.

2nd was when that monk died, sacrificing his life for MC and his disciple..... his last fight was so sad yet also beautiful

3rd was the Yuwen Xian death...... and the scene followed afterwards.
