Side story of 'Ghost marriage'. Read that first before reading this or you'll get confused why the friend (MC of ghost marriage) seems to be familiar with the situation in room 404.

The side story unlike the main story is kinda unsatisfying. It also led you to believe that the MC is one of the main CP but it's not but merely the narrator of the story. You can say that this side story really focus in horror.

Man, this is creepy. Both the humans and the ghost, they are all creepy af. I was so shocked when I read to the part where Li Wei met the youth in the elevator for the first time. I got goosebumps all over my body; he is scarier than a ghost at this point.

The writing and description are really good, though. I can imagine the character's appearance just from the description, like how enticing the youth really is. It makes me kind of understand why Mr. Evil spirit always get jealous, and why Li Wei's reaction towards the youth is so strong.

This is pretty good from a horror standpoint, I think the synopsis is a bit misleading. It’s a little confusing, though, because there’s not a lot of set up of the characters, so they all seem pretty similar, at least in my opinion. It’s not a bad story, and I definitely don’t regret reading it, though.

Just so so. A bit deceived. Even if it's just side story, I'm sure the author could make it more interesting than this, based on how good Ghost Marriage is.

No need to read Ghost Marriage to understand this one shot novel. But it doesn't do the main story justice.

Almost similar plot to ghost marriage, considering it is a side-story.

I personally think this one was less satisfying, considering this is actually from an outsider POV. However the creepy and unsettling atmosphere are still there. I would have liked more details on the couple, but I guess that would just be a sequel and not side story. Oh, well

This was interesting to see from a pov of a person not at all involved in the relationship but I guess that makes it terrifying to an extent...I am pretty curious about the story of the ghost wife and his ghost husband as well, oh well.

This was very short. I like horror bl and looking at it from a third point of view is new. But this was way too quick and not too believable. The translation is pretty good but the story not so much. The concept of the story is catchy for horror and bl lovers but it's a pity that the story does not deliver it properly. edit: here's the thing, you probably have to read ghost marriage to know about the friend.
