Please use proper spacing and paragraphs. With the marriage of her prostitute mother to the Count, Aria’s status in society skyrocketed immediately. After leading a life of luxury, Aria unfairly meets death because of her sister Mielle’s schemes. And right before she dies, she sees an hourglass fall as if it were a fantasy. And just like that, she was miraculously brought back to the past.
“I want to become a very elegant person, just like my sister, Mielle.”
In order to face the villainess, she must become an even more wicked villainess. This was the new path Aria chose to take revenge on Mielle who mu*dered both her and her mother.

-
- The struggles up to the midway point are somewhat unique with the hourglass ability.
- The characters are shallow. Development is minimal, but it exists.
- Wuxia tier plot armor.
- Very weak antagonist
- In my opinion, the direction the story takes is a bad one. I explain this below.
As for the spoiler stuff:It seemed interesting at first, but when you realize that the main character takes revenge on someone who hadn't yet done anything wrong it becomes souring. The main character is in her twenties when she was killed, and was sent back to age 14. The main antagonist (Mielle) is also around 14. It would be around a decade before the main character is killed. Mielle is innocent at this time, and they barely know each other.
In the end, the main character ends up killing Mielle after driving her to the point of insanity through extreme manipulation and bullying. Reminder again that this girl is only a teenager. The real mu*derer is the MC.
In my opinion, a much better direction to take everything would have been for the MC to try to fix Mielles nasty personality through the usage of the hourglass ability. She wasn't a psychopath, as shown by snippets from her perspective. She was just extremely bratty and spoiled, and was raised to think that everything belonged her and should always go her way.
- There was too much of a plot armor
- Character development was just bait. There is none.
- Petty, immature, spiteful and vindictive
I'd give a 1-star but for me that's actually a Zero, and that's too sad.- dialogues that seemed forced or scripted, the writing seems repetitive, exaggerating (in a bad way), and cliche,
- seems like the writer wants to makes our protagonists to look smarter, but it looks to me that the others have little brain to digest even the smallest hints.
- the climax is pretty much like mostly other isekai/rebirth genre, almost nonexistent. The antagonists just not thoroughly planned their schemes, or fail to have backup plans. At times it just plainly boring to see the antagonist not even realize something so obvious.
- the writer can give us element of surprise, but just decided to reveal the answer on early chapter.
- too much pointing on how pretty our FL is, "goddess" "unlike we ever seen" "the rumors have failed to capture how beautiful FL is", we got your point author, just go with the story already.
anymore than this and will just be my endless rants. this book is a decent read though.-pro-active protagonist, she doesn't sit on her hands, biding her time and waste away her second life in a daze
-polished characters, they are being all fully utilized in the story, humanized and not forgotten after being given their own highlights
-character development!! LOTS of character development!
Personally, to me, I can't really say the MC is a villain, given the circumstances she was raised and nurtured in. But that's also what makes MC great, she's no Mary Sue, even with the hacks she's been given, she makes mistakes, she doesn't want to hold expectations and trust in anybody but some a**holes will still let her down and break her heart she thought that was frozen. That makes the MC so much more beautiful to me than she already is, she's just on a whole, well structured character. Reason for the 4/5 star is that the romance might be a bit lacking. ML is very sweet but I feel like they really failed to convince both MC and audience why he's so much in love with her, the story on a whole focuses about up to 65% purely on face slapping. The plot isn't all too original either, reincarnated MC face slapping her former tormentors on a western monarchy-renaissance based set, got it's distinct flavor, but still, a cliché in web/light novels.
ML mistook MC originally for her own step-sister and even courted the sister anonymously through a third party. On top of that, the way they met wasn't exactly on best terms, at best, I thought he was gonna hunt her down and interrogate her with torture or something, but flirts with her from there on non stop.
He also excluded the possibility that the woman he took a liking to was the MC herself due to rumors. MC was given quite a mental scarring from the social opinion of her to begin with so IDK how they just smoothly overcame that conclusion he had of her (although I suppose one has to consider that she purposely mislead him and that misunderstanding she created was in the end something she herself has forgotten or wasn't even aware of, at least, the moment of realization was never brought up).
He is blindly devoted to her and loves her unconditionally, as lovely as that was, I sure as hell would've loved a small point of view of his as to why or how he fell so hard in love. His dedication to her however, managed to convince MC so she never really considered it as an issue and this was just... tossed/neglected I suppose?
Some faults were forcefully justified. The FL seemed to punish her stepdad, sister and brothers for their deeds in last life. But actually, her stepsister was the one who deserved punishment, not the count and herstepbrother. She seemed to hold a grudge that the count didn't show her fatherly love.
But how illogical was that! She was not
his biological daughter afterall. The fact
that he agreed to take in a prostitute and her daughter ignoring his reputation was commendable. He didn't have to marry the prostitute. He could just buy her and keep her as a maid. Plus her mother even stated that their marriage was contractual, the count only married the female lead mother for her beauty and the female lead mother only married the count for his money. Their is nothing more to the relationship Again, she held grudge for Cain because heordered her execution.... which was reallyfunny. The FL really did try to poison his sister. If he didn't want the FL dead, it would have been abnormal. To me... the FL and her prostitute motherwere classical example of snakes. They were nothing but ungrateful people. The countess seemed to complain that the count treated her like an ornament. Comeon!!! Was she anything else but an ornament?Did she even try to be independent or gain respect. All she did was leech off the count. It was normal you wouldn't be treated with respect. The author tried hard to justify the FL's
actions and to paint the count family as
villains. But according to me.. if the count's family deserved death, so did the FL and Annie.
