Hero Zhang Han was frustrated in life originally, but he stepped into the Cultivation World by a stroke of luck. The tl chapter is only until c19 but saw the comments that it worth reading on so decided to continue reading via Google translate. Been reading continuously since last Friday. The reason why it's a 4 stars is because I feel characters development a bit shallow. Some events is being forced in just to create a big dramatic scenes. It's just my opinion. It's could be misinterpreted due to using Google translate to read it. I wish I took my Chinese lesson srsly when I was younger, I could hv... more>> happily read thousands of Chinese novels without English translation. So far it's a fun read. Don't expect too much tho, this novel is a fluffy novel about an immortal who spoils his daughter so much.

Whatever he does or happens in this novel might be unreal, but this is a webnovel, a fiction, what did you expect?

Please give it a try, you might wanna change the pace from common cultivation novels.

Spoil your baby treasure with your ego which shoots through the roof from being in the cultivation world for centuries, :p. But so far, this novel has been a very heartwarming novel, and I hope to see many more chapters translated. <<less

It's unique in the sense that, for once we have a cultivator that is actually taking care of their child. In fact, it's the main selling point for this novel. But, since this is a CN cultivation novel, it means it comes with those troupes as well.

The MC is... Annoyingly arrogant. I personally find these "godly' cultivators emotions to be a joke. They should be magnanimous and calm in front of situations that aren't dire and treat life as (insert some poetic Chinese saying) someone that has lived for thousands... more>> of years. But, instead, we get basically children in the guise of adults. Anyway, rant over. It's good for what it does, but also bad in the sense these authors seem to never be able to get away from over-used troupes and cliches.

TL;DR: Just read the first 50 chapters, that's basically what you're going to get for the rest of the novel. <<less

Overall an ok read. The daughter sounds cute and lovable. But the mother was a very hateful character who does nothing but bad mouth the MC. The entire first few chapters regarding the mother makes me feel like I wish to strangle her

Great story for good moral values of a good man, good father and good husband. Interesting all the time and excited looking forward to what happen next. MC is the most powerful all the time. I love how the author write what the character think about, why they think that and not just what the story goes. The personalisation is important. Great job and look forward for more stories from author! Love

ch 674 - OMG. I ship Zhang Hanyang and Emperor Qing instead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm currently in chapter 653... so far ML is really OP. He steadily rises in cultivation and a genius in everything he do and everyone around him manages to level up as well. He is a doting dad, husband, brother and friend to those he cares about.

However, I'm starting to get fed up with how pampering and doting he is to the FL (and slightly with the daughter)... I mean no offense I'm sure other readers appreciates this part of him but it's like super super over the top. At the present chapter where I am at, FL is going to start filming a movie as the main star (of course) and in order for her to get an award by the end of the year, the ML arranges more than a billion budget for the cost, hiring people from hollywood for the special effects and whatnot, props and design are extremely near realistic (this is a pirate movie btw so there's ships etc) etc

I don't know if I'm making any sense but then again, no offense to the fans of this story.. perhaps I'm just looking for some sort of balance in the ML when it comes to his treatment to the FL and daughter coz it's really excessive

I would generally definitely give this a 5/5, but I'll be moving it down a little bit cuz of the Translation quality.

I have actually read the novel all the way to 800 like 6 months ago basically, but came back to this again cuz I haven't found something new.

But I'm just making this review cuz of the events in like the past 10 chapters (820ish) where the Old Man 'decided' to teach Mengmeng Martial Arts, which have been put off by Everyone for like 2 yrs (3.5 - 5y/o) which... more>> even now still makes no freaking sense, I'm telling you NO FREAKING SENSE. I know it's to like keep his father happy and to apologize for his younger actions, but like jesus christ, you have been so angry at someone else to just not let them show Mengmeng MA but when the old man decided to do so, now you and her are so weak for some weird reason.

I mean wasn't the Author or technically ZH purpose is to let the little girl live a happy and normal life? Then what is this, what's the point really? It's not like she's not gonna have a 'stable' foundation to work with, with an Immortal father and whatnot, but like I actually do hope that whatever happens in the next part of the novel would really make some people happy cuz I sure am not and have decided to drop this novel overall.

Dont let summary mislead you into reading this.
Although he is a cultivator reincarnating back to earth, so far in (100 chapter) there has been 0 action scenes. This story is mostly about our MC spoiling his daughter for 95/100 of the chapters.
Yes, really. Thats all that happens in 100 chapters. Very little interaction between MC and the female MC.
No romantic progress at all.
No action scenes at all.

Now if you want to read a novel about MC spoiling his daughter for 100 chapters then you may procced to read this. Who knows you may enjoy reading the dialog between MC and 3 year old daughter, which occupies 70% of all chapters.

Now from the summary I was already expecting the MC to be spoiling his daughter a lot, but I thought there would be other stuff happening as well. Unfortunately I was wrong, and there is nothing more.

Also very bad translation after chapter 40.

A really addicting read with lots of parallel storylines that all centre around the MC and his family in a meaningful way.

It takes full advantage of the concept described in the synopsis and goes over and beyond in delivery.

The first 20 or so chapters are fun, but the pace is yet to be set, so it can feel a bit mundane at times. Stick with it, and you'll find the speed picks up really quickly, and the suspense is so thick you can't stop your eyes from scanning the next... more>> line.

This is the kind of light-hearted read I like, where there isn't much negative suspense that makes you too anxious, but a lot of the positive kind which makes your feet kick the blanket at night.

A good read, definitely recommended for those seeking a faster paced slice-of-life that occasionally goes off the rails somewhere towards drama and action. <<less

it was getting good but when all the girls come to his shop it gets annoying expecsially the girl from the shop who he first brings to his farm or what ever it is, she just does my head in and all she does is try to get close to him or his daughter to get close to him. It would of been better if he just stayed with the child's mother and not have random girls coming all over the place it's annoying asf

I don't really care about the reviews and just wanted to say that I love this novel. Thank you so much for translating it to English which makes it more understandable for me.

I also like this novel because it stays true to its title unlike most novels but who am I to judge right? I would also like to say that I sometimes cry because of the MC's love for his daughter. It's really touching. I wish that my father's like that too.

The story is quite nice. I'm fond of easy going novels like this. The father is doing his best for his adorable daughter. Although there is cultivation, the main focus is taking care of his daughter.

The only negative in my reading this novel is the translation quality. I'm only at c50+ so I hope this will improve in the future. I'm giving it a 4 atm.

Eh, honestly I'm not very fond of the personality of the main character or how he's raising his daughter. I also don't like many things going on the novel, it doesn't "go my way", but it's still alright and quite a bit fluffy, most of my discontent comes from the MC being too arrogant and/or not helping who I want him to help yet helping others. Help your baby mama!! Ugh. It's still alright, just a bit slow... I wish he would speak up more, if he doesn't have a... more>> low EQ why does he not speak up, he's too arrogant to bother with some stuff,

He could help Zi Yan so easily, he has influence. Even if he didn't want to give her a song he could get joker xue to collab with her or something, or even promote her with his "popular weibo" after all he has millions of followers. I'm also not very fond of Li Anna, at least there's MengMeng who tries stopping girls that make advances on her Papa.

The original translator made a good effort to translate the story. However, now the translation goes to TapRead. There are translation choices that I think could be improved, but overall story can be enjoyed.

The story itself is interesting.

You might hate the way of thinking of the protagonist. But, don't worry! The author plays around with the story and make fun of the situations. Thus, making this story heartwarming here and there.
