I know his soul is thousands of years old but still, in the mortal world with his memories locked, he was nothing more than a mere kid. The first life was still better. But the third one gave me creeps. Her kissing and hugging him, the 8y/o ML blushing and saying he only loves her and wants to marry her, a mother figure.

- The poor male lead who, even though we don't get much from his pov, I honestly felt really sorry for at times

Cons:because he never really got to live out a full life with the heroine even once. He had to spend way too much time pining for her while being all depressed. Damn you, Siming!

- Too short. You could have made this into a long drawn-out epic like 3L3W and I would have been A-OK. That is how much I love Sansheng and her Moxi. They are the epitome of epic romance bundled with cute fluff.
I've re-read this novel at least three times already, it's a perennial favourite. The feels, man, the feels. Right in the kokoro. This book is 100% guaranteed to turn me into a happy leaky faucet.A stone in Hell gains sentience and falls in love with the God of War from Heaven. She asks to "seduce" him and they live three lives together in the mortal world despite the fate that is destined to tear them apart. Characters:
Female MC - Sansheng is as you would expect for a stone-turned-spirit: simple, direct, practical, and persistent. She has a habit of saying whatever comes to mind (no matter how much it embarrasses who she's talking to). She is naive about the ways of the world (she's been a rock for a millenia) but she isn't s*upid. She is very endearing and honest. Male MC - Moxi starts out as a perfect god, but when he's just a normal human with no memories -- he's too adorable and loveable. You can't help but love him. There aren't many other characters worth mentioning. The few recurring characters aren't bad (they're quite good, actually), it's just that heavy focus is on the main characters. Translation:
The translation for this series is fantastic. Hamster428 has a talent for using vivid vocabulary and perfectly translating conversations and feelings. The English is nearly flawless and the translation adds to the story rather than distracting. Recommendation:
I REALLY enjoyed reading this. The pacing is great, the story is simple but entertaining, and it's a really light-hearted read that will make you smile and almost cry a few times.
It reminds me of "Seven Unfortunate Lifetimes, All Thanks to a Single Moment of Impulse" (another one of my favorites), but Sansheng is shorter and the translation quality is much better.
