This is a short version of various CN light romance novels in this genre - romantic comedy and with this kind of story, i.e. Hidden Marriage etc etc. Saying that even it is just short it has all the right elements and it is for me very well written with good character developments. If you want a quick and entertaining read, with few predictable/ unpredictable plots lines... then you should enjoy this morsel greatly.

It's a painful read! I don't know if the author is a child or if the translator needs to work harder but... the ML, "noble and cool Che Stuart" is a rich, arrogant bully with "an evil smile", "warm big hands with pleasant smell" and "a kind of domineering hypnotism" who "swaggeringly restrains his anger" in the face of Jingyou Jane's refusal... :))

Cringeworthy.

The summary is right on the money in explaining how arrogant and scum like the ML is. He harasses the FL when she's 18. The worst part is of her forced drugged r*pe. The story establishes his player tendencies so that the reader doesn't have any sympathy for the ML. However, as the story progresses, you get to understand more and more of how the ML turned out that way. The overall characters still feel a bit 2 dimensional, but the interactions are kind of cute. i can’t believe that this novel only has a 3.5 star rate.

This novel has a cliche story about an overbearing CEO and a strong minded woman, though thus one doesn’t have a too many complicated “arcs” aka Drama. The pace of the story is a little bit fast but it is actually a good read.

Give this story a chance and you will not regret reading it, it’s funny and cute at the same time.

A good short read! What I love best are the interactions between FL and her son. Their relationship is anchored on love and respect since they have only the two of them to support each other. The son's dialogues are the best: sprinkled with a lot of sass, maturity, intelligence, and wit.

It is a very stereotypical plotline with cringey lines and unrealistic characterisation, but it's satisfying if you just want to read about an arrogant, rich ML chasing after the 'strong-willed', poor FL (with a kid to spice it up a bit).

Typical chinese novel with overbearing tyranical a$$hole ML and indifferent smart a$$ FL. The start was very annoying and nasty, which makes me wanna give up this novel but miraculously I ended up finishing this because of only one reason. They had such a cute child. And might as well add that as the story progress, it became more and more decent story to read.

Would not recommend this to those who can't stand DUBCON & R*PE. Beware.

The only thing that justicies the Josei tag is the scene where ML drugged MC into his bed into his beginning. The bed scenes were not explicitly mentioned so its a R-16 book.

The plot is really similar to the KDrama The Heirs except there's a tiny adult popping up here and there.

Overall it was a simple, light hearted read. The ML though followed the legendary cold CEO route, he was nowhere near as ruthless and dusgusting as many others out there who would regard the MCs as playthings and humiliate... more>> and bed them over and over without regard to their consent.

The ML did kidnap and drug her at the beginning but was just like a kid playing adult games. Even though he literally coerced her to sleep with him by using strong deugs, a part of him still wanted her to accept him willingly and his pride didnt allow him to r*pe her.

Later he made up to her by wooing her constantly in every possible way and willingly sacrificed any or all of his possessions whose existence made her uncomfortable. <<less

the character of the ML is honestly more of the male cannon fodder of other novels, "i want it, I get it", idiotic brat, resorting to evil scheme (drugging fl) and with a sad backstory. The FL has usual stubbornness, "i can fight anyone" attitude but I really like her sarcasm and her way of handling things. The kid is simply smart, the way he cooperated with his mom to fool his father is hilarious (also the way he made the truth known). I love how their family of 3 interacted with each other.

The plot is good, the characters are good, the translation is good. But I am not very satisfied with the flow of the story though, how it is written, which is not so smooth.

It is still worth reading though. Overall, I like it! <<less

I guess I don’t know why this book has bad ratings with high click rate. Cute baby, sweet interactions between MC and FL, beside the development of MC, all of those factors are in this short story. Wow. I recommend you to read it.

I must say that this novel is seriously underrated. I don’t understand the reasons for the bad ratings. It only has 35 chapters but contains all the factors of romantic fictions. It is really good. I like it anyway. In my opinion, the story is well worth reading.

The plot of this novel is actually a typical western type of novel... It cute and endearing.

I'm so impress with how the FL take care of her 'oh-so' precocious son. I like kids who thinks that way.

I Strongly Recommend this Novel who wants to read typical normal love story...I call this 'typically normal' love story because I often real this type of stories from western style.

The story is good and so is the translation. In their high school, FL already falls in love with MC, but she is not aware of that. Therefore, after eight years, she can accpet MC. Because of her family background, Jingyou Jane is a vulnerable girl who wants someone to protect her and to love her. When Che Sturd protects Jingyou Jane from the hurting of Jon, Jingyou Jane loses her heart to Che Sturd. I really like this light romantic novel. If you want to read a romantic story in a short time, this book must be the first choice.
