MC transmigrates into the body of a prince, who has an arranged marriage.

Very comic and fresh story about an MC that wants a divorce and a Husband that is afraid divorce is a code-word for "let's us consume our marriage".

Creates hilarious situations and misunderstandings..

Certainly worth reading

Although it's labelled "comedy", it's really not humorous to my taste.

This kind of story needs a more serious undertone. If it was more serious, more planned, it may have made a good story.

Since the plot makes you want to see genuine developments (and is more suited for that), the comedy just comes in and ruins it. It becomes annoying. Also, I find these kind of jokes flat and those misunderstandings are even more annoying, because anything is funny when it doesn't get dragged out... Especially with such a dense ml,... more>> it just becomes frustrating.

But some people find it great, it is just not the kind of humor I appreciate.

I generally think that comedy genre shouldn't be included in a plot with too many actions and twists, it should be a light-hearted plot. However, if you want to do that you should give the plot its seriousness. <<less

Very hillarious!

Just like everyone else said, this is really full of funny misunderstanding between MC and ML and unexpectedly make them grew closer instead.

One thing I hate at the begininning though just the existence of the real owner of MC body that still has conscious left. He is extremely annoying. The feeling I got is like when I read the arc about western god in QWTOTD, when the MC has another pathetic-annoying-idiot soul inside his body.

simple to the point of when the MC was giving the defence map to an enemy (their kingdom's general), the ML's friend (TQ) just stood behind watching things unfold. TQ and the shadow guards, sent to follow the MC, could have detained the enemy at that moment but they didn't, only after the enemy was gone did TQ escorted the MC to the emperor for questioning. ¯\_ (ツ) _/¯

The fluff between the ML and MC, and the humor are very prevalent. MC's sharp tongue is also cute.

Thumbs up for the translator's effort in delivering the story as well since some terms are well explained. <<less

This is just so laugh-out-loud fun read. It's a very addictive reading and best read when everyone are up and not in the middle of the night as you may get your neighbor knocking at your door for waking them up. The story is just so cute and hillarious, very highly recommended even if you are not into Yao novels.

I had initially decided to read this because I was bored and looking for novels with misunderstandings. I hadn't expected it to be pretty good, but I pleasantly found it to be an enjoyable read.

I MTL'd the rest because I got too impatient, and my opinion on the whole story is generally a positive one because:

  • The chapters are decently lengthy
  • I [personally] viewed the relationship dynamic between MC and ML as very fun to read. It's humorous and sometimes makes one feel as though their mouth is full of sugar
  • There are some decent side characters that contribute to the comedy aspect of the novel
  • Drama is not lacking despite it being mostly a comedy, but it isn't so long-lasting that it completely overpowers the comedic aspect of the story.
I'd recommend this to... more>> someone who prefers to read stories that are more lighthearted, or to anyone looking to calm down after reading something particularly angsty and emotionally heavy. There was some spicy content, but as I generally don't feel like reading that most of the time, I did skip those chapters—but they're there for anyone who's into that I guess.

But then again, this is just my take on it. I wish those who decide to read this have a dandy time doing so and enjoy it as they wish! DÒuÓb <<less

A very interesting novel, the characters are well thought-out, and the comedic element is refreshing. With the seemingly serious plot, the comedy actually fits in very well, with a dense and arrogant ML who thinks MC wants to get it on with him everytime he opens his mouth when all he wants is actually a divorce, lmao, so desperately that he begins to conform to ML's misunderstanding and pretends he's actually crazy for 'it' in order to scare ML away, but miserably fails at it. There are other interesting elements,... more>> including the bastard ex that the original owner of the body is hopelessly in love with and begins to take control of the body and do s*upid things whenever he's around, and the amazing wingman steward in the Prince's Mansion.

3.5/5 It's Okay. Nit bad, but not good.

It didn't meet my expectation so I wont give it a 5/5. The last translated chapter today is 49.5 and I won't read the MTL for a reason.

The novel, although not boring but not funny. It's so so tbh. The only reason I persevere is because I want to read the part written in the sypnosis where the ML came home to his manor turned into mahjong house. And to see the reaction of the prince after our MC said "that". Which will... more>> happen around chapter 40.

But I am disappointed because it's far from what I thought it will be.

The only unique part here is probably the MC asking for divorce everyday through letter but ends up unsuccessful for 3 yrs due to the ML's misunderstanding. Our Silly Spore ML thought that our MC means the other way around and truely misses him instead.

Anyway, if you want comedy, this is probably not really funny. It's around 3/5 funny.

If you ran out of option to read, you can probably pick this up. It's not so bad, but also not good too.

If you read my other reviews, you'll know that I loveeee reading novels and if it is good, I will proceed to MTL when I ran out of translated. But this novel, I won't MTL it. And I will probably drop this too.

- NOT RECOMMENDED! (First time writing not recommended on my review). I'm sorry to the author and translator.

Ah... honestly I'm not one for "misunderstandings comedy". It's frustrating and annoying. I just wish to give some IQ to the ML, he obviously needs it.

I saw a person saying how MC is self-centered and emotionally abusive, so far I can't see it but I might not be at that part of the story yet.

I won't rate this yet because I'm not done. I will maybe drop it if it becomes too frustrating for me however

This is a lovely, lighthearted read. It's not a plot-heavy story, nor does it go deep into characterisation. However, this doesn't detract from its enjoyability. If you're looking for a light read that's sweet and amusing with some good plot twists, this is the story for you*. The ML/MC are rather cute and despite the 'misunderstandings' it doesn't feel forced or trope-y. The translator has done an excellent job, with regular updates and lots of extra information for those of us who are not native Chinese speakers and enjoy learning... more>> more about Chinese culture.

*Note: Unfortunately as per information from the lovely translator, they are unable to go further with translations. The author is delightful and agreeable, but it appears licensing with the hosting body (JJWXC) is an issue. Hopefully this is resolved in some way and that the translator is able to pick this story back up. <<less

I recently finished reading this book, and it was a fun and easy read and loved the humor too.

MC (transmigrated from modern time into the body of a neglected Crown Prince's body) is arranged to marry the ML (Crown Prince of the vassal state) to establish peaceful relations between the two countries.

What I liked:

    • Both the ML and MC are hilarious and their interactions are fun to read. Good chemistry between the two.
    • Although there is an initial misunderstanding it gets resolved soon. I disagree with what other commenters have said about ML's IQ being low. If you read further you will see that ML knows exactly what he wants and he has a roundabout logic and way to achieve things.

      ML does fall for MC first and he is purposefully feigning ignorance whenever MC asks for a divorce.

    • Loved that ML is very straightforward with what he wants and starts to court MC. He is very respectful and cute towards MC
    • Their actual meetup after the time skip is very hilarious and cute at the same time.
    • For a change, MC is smart and decisive and can read the situation fast and act on it as required. Because of his identity as a Crown Prince of the opposing country, he knows when he should get involved and when he should step back.
    • Once the relationship was established ML and MC are fiercely loyal to each other and there were no unnecessary drama or misunderstandings.
    • Complications arise when MC's original soul gets active or becomes dormant from time to time. This is one thing that is different from other transmigration stories I have read before.

      I really wanted to knock some comonsense into the original soul who acts s*upidly because of his blind love. At the same time, I cheered for the original soul when he took his revenge

    • Overall it is a lightweight story and the secondary characters are hilarious as well. They all tease each other a lot but have each other's back when things are serious.
What I disliked:

    • I felt the last few chapters changed the focus from the Primary couple to the secondary couple. Nothing wrong with it because their story was also interesting, but I just wanted to read more about the main couple.
    • I absolutely hated the setup that was done for AU extras. Although the AU itself independently was nice to read.
    • Some of the incidents don't fully make sense or are oversimplified, But I guess that is what makes this story light read.

His Royal Highness, Wants a Divorce! Reading the novel last night was a waste of time ~ I felt ML's IQ was too low because the plot was not good. I wondered if I was crazy (because of the thought of reading ML all the time) ~ Misunderstandings sometimes occur halfway through the story and it's boring to read.

I was surprised when I start to read this novel because I thought that there is some drama, but in reality is funny and I laught every time.

The MC has trasmigrated in the ancient time but a difference of other similar novels the body occupated by MC has still the original spirit.
