I was on the verge of death after ruining my health by over eating for the past 30 years. Goodbye, past world. And Hello to new world. I will cheat with modern knowledge, is what I thought, but in reality I don’t have any practical knowledge. Nitroglycerin? How to make it? Where to find potatoes? Method to make transparent glass? Method to make carbon steel? I don’t know any of that.

However, the heaven didn’t abandon me. I was born with royalty as a cheat. And, my brothers and sister have an unparalleled level of cheat talent, so unparalleled cheat ability would also dwell in me!…… I changed my mind, the heaven have abandoned me. I don’t get any unparalleled ability. While I was spending my days lamenting about that, I have already been abandoned by heaven, but Gooogle-sensei didn’t abandon me! Passing through eras and expanding his service, certainly sensei is Deus ex Machina! My era has star-, no, Sensei’s era has started! Just look at it, all of the holder of unparalleled ability!! All of you must prostrate in the front of Sensei’s power!!

I don't like JP novels other than a few like Shieldbro but this one is really tr*sh. Obsession with b**bs (even for JP it's abnormal) and in*est pretty much sums it up. Don't remember much bcoz my previous review got deleted, still this really needs an objective and highly critic review. I droped it after 1~2 chaps and yes that is enough to review it, if you burned your lunch you can't make it better.

(Review at v2 - Extra) (16th February 2017)

When I saw the Epilogue and Extra, I jumped ahead of the chapters about the Highland, Arthur, and Charlemagne, to look at the truth of the mood whiplash thing above.

Alright, apparently it was all a ploy, but heck, placing the reveal after the end of the next story arc is a bit of a long cliffhanger. I actually abandoned this story for three- No, five months because of it.

... more>> ... Yeah, the author really needs to work at his pacing.

I will recant my 2 stars and put it back at 3, because it is still a niche kind of story.

EDIT: Wait, how do I change the stars again?

(Review at v2c7)
It's... Odd.

At first, it goes like a parody of a weak-sauce character (the youngest prince) in an OP world (every one has their OP Divine Blessing, but not the MC) finding his own OP cheat (Google-sensei, an ultra-modern satellite network, with clarketech up the wazoo, coded to the MC's personal use).

There is a lot of in-joke, slapstick, and rather off-color comedy, with light-hearted feeling. I get the idea that this is a not-so-serious story of the MC trying to live along the other OP characters as well as living up to his royal responsibilities.

Then, at exactly volume 2 chapter 4, we get a big turn-around: MC becomes a hard man making hard decisions. Several chapters worth of prior moe fluffy-ness and general shonen action rom-com are traded in for cold-blooded seinen political intrigue plot out of nowhere.

It is kind of spoiler-y, so perhaps you can judge for yourself, but suffice to say, I wasn't expecting the MC to take Lelouch Lamperouge as his role model for what I feel is barely sufficient reasoning.

Aaaaand then, in the next chapter, it is back to all slapstick, in-joke, and whatnot, interspersed with events caused by the fallout of the Lelouch plot.

It is a major whiplash, I tell you.

Judge for your own. <<less

Just really disappointing... the idea of Google was original and for the first few chapters, the opness left me thirsty for more, but as it dragged on with unnecessary information in the later chapters, plus the fact that he's looked down upon, and can't do anything about it. Useless conversation and world building that seemed forced made the story unreadable. It's a shame, one of the few novels I actually had to drop.

Sigh this is an example of something that had potential for the first 2 chapters then here it is the japanese style of fck it up with the s*upid harem and idiotic MC that seems to be the number 1 focus for every Japanese style of writing, even if they seem to live for 20-50s year before dying, it would of been a decent novel to read if the MC was a serious guy or at least an average guy.

This story had potential and was on my reading list for quite a while. The MC was one of those feckless political chessmasters who do all the work but get very little of the credit, due to the fact that they don't look like ikemen. The manga had a stylized and breezy tone, which kept it lighthearted, even when discussing war and fights for survival and such. Then came v2c4, and that all went right in the crapper, as the MC shows himself to be an amoral sociopath who will... more>> do whatever it takes to succeed and not lose a wink of sleep over it.

Don't even bother with this one. It will just disappoint you in short order. <<less

Original idea with OP chapters, the novel was good at first. Later everything turned to sh**. Now I am not even interested in continuing this series. Honestly the novel became an endless rambling by the MC.

This novel is extremely tr*sh. All people on main character 's side are just too OP, they can do whatever they want, compare to other countries. Also, the main character's character is too annoying, thinking too much about pe*vert and s*upid things. Moreover, at the half of vol 2, the novel suddenly change completely, from comedy to be much more dark, make me wonder whether the main char has multi personality disorder

Fun is the first few chapters before deteriorating to boring diary. Flat story telling. Some humor is forced in.

Surprisingly funny, hopefully it won’t become a beta male harem romcom like every other jap novel. The main characer is a disappointment of the family, all his sibling are super talented geniuses, and he is just himself (a normal human whos not handsome or super talented). However he has a cheat of a super computer who has lived through a million years and a collapse of several different realities into one, and has take over the moon as its base.

It's entertaining and certainly not boring. Before I say anything else, MC is NORMAL. Probably too normal. Just keep reading, even if you somehow don't like the MC, the story and setting is at least interesting. Btw, notice that there's no harem genre? Or romance either.

MC is weak, not s*upid, and not super smart. He actually has a good head, can think better than most if not all of his family members. At least he's not like other dense ret*rded typical Japanese MC. Yes, he likes big b**bs, what do... more>> you expect from a normal man? He's not overly obsessed with them, just appreciates them.

MC relies heavily on Gooogle-sensei and that's not a bad thing. Why?

1) He's AVERAGE, not OP, he just lacks any sort of ability/magic.

2) WTF do you expect when everyone else around him is more OP than him? I'm serious. Even the servants are way stronger than him. The most abnormal is his family.

3) He's not the one that's OP, Gooogle is.

The unique thing about this story is obviously Gooogle. It's almost like modern vs medieval fantasy setting except it's actually...
Spoiler

It's set in a post apocalyptic future so it's actually MC that is from the distant past... Gooogle is some futuristic technology (compared to modern) that is from the past of current world's time.. So I guess you can say is the world regressed.

Spoiler

Gooogle isn't a search engine anymore, it's an AI that had absorbed and evolved unchecked over thousands of years into some powerful dimensional being and can do pretty much anything if asked. For more details, just read it.

It's an interesting story but has some plot holes that other reviewers have pointed out. I am actually a fan of the MC. He's written in a way that is typical of japanese MCs but given his own twist. The MC has numerous faults but that only makes him more fleshed out for me and is by far better MC than most.

Though there are some plot holes that are just a bit much; for example no one questions why the MC looks racially different from his family, even his family... more>> doesn't implicate anything as close to as reason. The entirety of it is just glossed over as normal. Another is being offered "enhancement" by Google-sensei in one chapter is refused vehemently for the sake of keeping his humanity feels, but is accepted and said in passing like nothing.

Others have pointed out, especially in Volume 2 Chapter 4, that the MC takes a rather heavy atmosphere and pull a full blown Lelouch Lamperouge (Code;Geass) even going so far as describing him as a amoral sociopath. Although I agree that the MC did skip a bit there in terms of his persona and morals, but not enough to be considered amoral sociopath. It felt to me like the author didn't include enough foreshadowing or even increased character development to justify such a jump in character. It should be noted however that the MC had the buds of such a character already set. This can be seen on his justifications and work around in interacting with the King/his father. It clearly shows his understanding of politics and international affairs, but most importantly his understanding of leadership and being a Ruler/King. He is not some typical Hero who goes off to fight for justice and passions (like his eldest brother leonhart), He is closer to a an Anti-hero. He does things for the sake of his loved ones and his people, while sticking to the shadows. For the Nay sayers I recommend reading until Volume 2 Chapter 11. There you will see character development that is worthy of coming back into the fold. <<less

Well, I really like this, it's not that hard headed like other novels, and it's relaxing, lol. But now, I'm really doubting the tags, really though, the in*est tag is an exaggeration, and the other reviews are really funny when they talk about it, they should first look up the definition of in*est, haha~ XD!

--- I recommend this, it's funny, interesting, and easy-going, I just want to warn people that they shouldn't judge the plot or its contents too early and to not think of criticisms against it as it... more>> is not really a story that should be compare to other plot-driven stories as they aren't just in the same page. Just enjoy it. :) <<less

All of the events in this story could have still happened and still come out as good pulp. The problem lies with the author. He's the wrong guy. The ESL-tier translators (bless them, they deserve the money) are doing their darn best with this one, and you can see them struggle, but even the best translation/localization can't help this.

You can't

Don't bother. The premise is interesting but the execution is horrible. The A.I. Is also shit. It can only follow basic commands an can't do any analysis making it a hindrance for the MC.

It showed b**bs as a divine protection during the ceremony and it's not funny at all. According to it, it did that because that's what the MC desires. But it didn't consider the fact that the majority of it's abilities can't be shown to the public. Sure its because the A.I. Waited for the MC to give a name, but that sh*t is powered by a supercomputer from the future.

Seriously, it could've just shown something like library and materialization.

I enjoyed its earlier chapters and especially the first volume, however as the chapters progressed, especially when reaching the later half of volume 2 it just got ruined for me. I enjoyed this series more for its light, fluffy, and comedic developments, however after moving past volume 1 we started to see much less of that, and it just starts getting pretty dark.

Spoiler

We started off with silliness like having the divine blessing of b**bs, nipple lasers (with accompanying light shows and music) to essentially having some lovable characters like Maria and King Maxamillion (I think that was his name) being killed off, but it wasn't until the around the epilogue of volume 2 that we found out they were actually alive, and it was all a staged act. Even though they didn't really die the story starts getting really dark, and the main character seems to get more and more "evil" at which point in volume 3 even the google AI says it, and the person fromthe Vatican with that future sight ability called him "Demon King." It really just makes me miss the more easy going and lovable parts between the MC and his sort of but not actually twin sister (its complicated)

[collapse]

The writing does seem to jump around a bit, in some chapters, like how we suddenly went from a dialogue between characters to suddenly they apparently traveled a vast distance and having a conversation with a new character we hadn't seen yet, and then gets introduced to the readers later in that same chapter. So it isn't the exactly one of the more well written novel's but its concepts and developments are interesting enough to merit giving it a shot.

Lastly I just want to say I liked Charlotte and Louise, those two are probably some of my favorite characters, even if I just base that on their lovable, mischievous, and silly behavior towards the MC. <<less

This is a good story, with some cliches, but what really stands out is the misunderstandings around the MC (mainly provoked by him). An anti-hero prince dead set on spreading havoc in the world with a love of comedy. There are plenty of likeable characters too like king arthur (lol).

The translation is fairly good. I recommend it for some light reading to pass time.

This is an epic story written in an absurd pov. The idea stems from "AI only you can use" and the way the it's wrote is laid back (at least to me) except that the content is very important, ex: discussing political gains or military strategy are explained in a laid back manner that you almost think the MC is fooling around

In summary, an epic story written in closet genius/clown pov with amazing AI abilities.

I think the tag is too intense. The MC is not (too) morally bankrupt, he's weak but not s*upid, and he's pretty kind imo. And the most important thing is the story hilarious!
