“Can’t I properly read stallion novels anymore!”

Shen Yuan transmigrated into someone who’d tormented the young male lead almost to death, the scum villain Shen Qingqiu.

It must be known, the original Shen Qingqiu ended up being carved alive by his disciple, Luo Binghe, into a human stick, a human stick!

Ten thousand “f*ck your moms” rampaged through Shen Qingqiu’s heart:

“It’s not that I don’t want to cling to the male lead’s thighs, but who made him so f*cking black. The type who seeks thousand-fold retribution!”

Why have all the female lead’s scenes been forcibly given to him.

Why, as a scum villain, does he need to constantly sacrifice himself, blocking knife and gun for the protagonist!

Shen Qingqiu: “…I think I can still save him, one more time.”

I always feel a bit conflicted about stories where immortals (vampires, cultivators, gods, ect) exist. On one hand it's all fiction and should be viewed from a lens taking the different dynamics of that world into account. On the other hand I have my own real life morals which are ingrained in me to say 'this kind of age gap is really too much!' At the end of the day though I realized that relationships between someone younger and an immortal more has to depend on the two within said... more>> relationship being on equal grounds through mental maturity more than anything else. This is probably why I'm not too fond of how Shen Qingqiu and Luo Binghe got together in the end. In my opinion the eventual relationship between Luo Binghe and Shen Qingqiu would have been fine if maybe at the end of the story Binghe decides to go off to gain a better world view and, idk, some more friends before coming back to seriously pursue Qingqiu. As it is now, it feels like a literal child got together with his adoptive father. If Binghe went off and matured beyond his 'shizun is love shizun is life phaze then I think I'd feel way less uncomfortable as then they'd be on the same playing field and able to act as equals. I mean they didn't have to get together so fast. They're immortals! They have more than enough time to forgive and foster a better relationship.

Age and mentality gap aside, it also doesn't feel like Shen Qingqiu fell in love with Binghe so much as it is he's accepted his fate as the protagonist's love interest. Likewise, it's hard to tell if this love on Binghe's side is actually him loving Shen Qingqiu or just obsessing over him because of his abandonment issues and lack of any other real relationships. It sorta feels like the only reason the author made them get together in the end was because she didn't want to anger her fans.

Oh yeah, another thing about that ending.
Spoiler

I wish Shen Qingqiu just had to kiss Binghe or maybe even just hug him to help him with Xin Mo at the end. The r*pe, yes it was r*pe, at the end seemed really unnecessary and out of nowhere. The entire novel makes it a point to call the original plot of Proud Immortal Demonic Ways s*upid specifically because of all the s*x in it and then suddenly the grand solution to saving the world is sex???

[collapse]

I see quite a few people complaining about the miscommunications throughout the novel, but I feel like they were sorta suppose to be a main point of interest? Like there's miscommunications everywhere between Shen Qingqiu and Luo Binghe, Shen Qingqiu and Yue Qingyuan, and Shang Qinghua and Mobei Jun. By the end of the story I think you're suppose to realize someone's always overthinking and inadvertently sabotaging their own relationship. I still find a few of these events annoying, but can overall appretiate the effort to try and stick to a certain theme. Faelicy made a really good post on the lack of communication in the novel and where it stems from between the main couple. I recommend others to read it. Even if it didn't make me change my views on the relationship all that much it still provides a new and interesting perspective (https://faelicy. tumblr. com/post/632819556141957120/miss-faelicy-i-would-love-to-get-your-opinion-on/amp?__twitter_impression=true)

Honestly, there's something about this story that really interests me out of all of MXTX's works. Mo Dao Zu Shi is my favorite, but it just feels like there was so much lost potential here. Well I guess that's what fanfics are for... At least the good ones... <<less

Edit 2023:

Realized I judged this novel a bit unfairly, but I honestly didn't enjoy the middle of the novel. The misunderstanding drags a bit too much, the MC seems to have lost his IQ and by the novel ended, I didn't particularly like both the MC and the ML. The MC's tsundere behaviour got on my nerves and the ML being a crybaby got on my nerves in a different way. the world building and humour is A+ and MXTX is an amazing author, but yeah this wasn't my cup... more>> of tea.

I believe the MC and ML like each other, but love? Ehh ML yes, MC not quite there. But I do dislike that the ML doesn't know about the transmigration. Not because I think he'll stop loving the MC, but because he has an incorrect version of the MC in his mind and it feels weird for it to not come up by the end, that his shizun isn't the same person and the person he likes didn't hurt him (in the beginning anyway, he hurt him a Lot later). <<less

Translation: There was quite a few groups translating this... in my opinion faelicy's translations are the best & I would rate it 8/10. I started off with WorshipperA & BC Novels translations & they were quite hard to read (I'd say they were both 6/10 for translation quality). BC Novels had a bunch of translators working on the same novel & it showed, because the quality of the translation differed for each chapter depending on who the TL was. Then there was the issue of inconsistency with the terminology. They... more>> were using "sect junior apprentice brother" for the longest time which sounds so awkward & quite a mouthful. Toward the end they finally decided to use pinyin like shixiong, which was great.

I hope people don't think my reviews are strange for spending so much time talking about translation quality before even rating the actual story. This is solely my personal preference when I read novels from this site & for me, the quality of the translation affects the ability to even get through the novel & the overall tone of the story. I always appreciate every translator's efforts (time, energy & money) they put into their work.

Story: I have read Mo Xiang Tong Xiu's 2 other works & was holding out on reading this mostly because this is a transmigration novel. Tbh, this was my first time reading a transmigration novel because the genre never interested me. I decided to give this genre a chance and unfortunately, still found that this is not a genre I will continue to seek out. I do have to say it was an interesting premise, but I think for me, the MC being plopped into a xianxia world & having this "high-tech" system was too much of a disconnect for me. Again, just my personal preference.

I have to agree with the other reviews about the toxic relationship between Shen Qianqiu & Luo Binghe & that was the major reason I didn't enjoy the story & gave it 3 stars. Is what they have between them really romantic love?

Spoiler

I wasn't convinced & was confused at what point it turned into "love." Luo Binghe went from pure teen who felt a lot of respect & reverence for the newly transmigrated Shizun to angry post-Endless Abyss Binghe. After Shen Qianqiu "died, " Binghe then turned into creepy dude sleeping with a corpse & then manipulated Qianqiu into revealing his return with his new body.

Even after the demon mausoleum incident & Binghe realizes just how much his Shizun did for him his every action is always violent, irrational & manipulative. And of course I do realize that some of his anger is valid - after all, his Shizun basically kicked his ass into a ditch called the Endless Abyss with zero explanation & repeatedly avoids Binghe or even attempts to have a proper discussion with him. I know, I know. It wouldn't make for a very fun story without the angst & misunderstandings.

But through all of this, how does Shen Qianqiu come to love Binghe? Even when they are getting along it seems like Qianqiu's feelings towards Binghe is more guilt & pity. Guilt from what he put Binghe through & pity that Binghe had such a tragic childhood.

Then there's the non-consent issues which were sprinkled throughout the story. Binghe forces himself onto Qianqiu a number of times. Not cool & trust me, I am usually very put off by the non-consent in BL novels. However, I don't believe the s*x in chapter 80 was completely non-consensual... Qianqiu initiates the kiss with Binghe before Qianqiu gets pressed down. While it does appear that Binghe was the one who initiated the act of taking off Qianqiu's clothes, Qianqiu was described as having removed the rest of his clothes himself. He also quite literally turns his body around so that Binghe could enter him from behind instead. While it was a very graphic & painful experience for Qianqiu, he also admits that this was his plan - to absorb Binghe's demonic energy into himself.

[collapse]

Overall, it was an entertaining read, but didn't enjoy Shen Qianqiu & Luo Binghe's relationship too much. <<less

This is definitely my favorite MXTX novel. I know a lot wouldn't agree, but this has all my favorite sort of characters personalities! I know a lot of may say this relationship is toxic which... in some ways it is but in the end you can see Shen QingQui and Luo Binge do really love eachother! It has r*pe but honestly I'm having mixed feelings about the r*pe part. ... more>>
Spoiler

I am having mixed feelings about it because Shen QingQui turned around pretty much let him thrust it into him.

[collapse]

Also Luo Binghe isn't really your typical gong (seme, top) and Shen QingQui isn't an idiot nor a weak shou (uke, bottom) which I'm glad about because naive, weak and s*upid shou's which I ABSOLUTELY HATE!

Well either way, I tried not to give much spoilers and I hope I didn't give much away! Also the r*pe chapter is around chapter 80!

Also I was rereading it and I chose to do a review! <<less

This novel was great! Although I fall into the category of thinking that teacher - student romances are a little weird... This novel actually did a really great job at building the romance. The plot was super interesting and all the characters were incredible. The main character Shen Qingqiu (Shen Yuan) was a super great main character and was overall just a super likeable person. Luo Binghe is adorable and super cool! Although he can be a bit forceful very weird at times, he's kinda funny. The romance is great... more>> and the story is great! <<less

I have mixed feelings about this novel. I love it to death but there are some flaws that prevent me from giving it 5 stars. On one hand, I love love love the first half. The MC (SQQ/SY) is hilarious and him trying to navigate his transmigration with the (troll) system is comedy gold. I also love the MC/ML interactions in the first half. The ML (LBH) is such an adorable gay disaster, which is a especially funny given his original character description. I also really enjoyed the meta aspect... more>> and the theme throughout that the characters can be more than how they were written in the original script. The first half of the book both had me laughing and crying—definitely 11/10 and if standalone would have been one of my favorite novels. On the other hand, this novel relies heavily on misunderstandings, which drives most of MC/ML relationship. I'm not a fan of dragged out drama just because of poor communication. The ML becomes yandere after his blackening, which gave me whiplash since he was such a cinnamon roll before. The MC is unnecessarily dense (to both his own and ML's feelings) —it's endearing but also gets old after 50 chapters. Honestly, if they could just talk to each other!! It's excruciating watching them constantly talk past each other. ? I also agree with other reviewers that their relationship isn't exactly healthy. I really just want ML to have some friends, or any other healthy relationship!

But the second half is not all bad. I did like that the plot moved quickly and the ending ties up everything well. The backstory reveal of the original SQQ is nicely done. Typical of MXTX novels, all the side characters are engaging and well-written (LQG!!) The extras are a lot of fun, as good as the main story. I especially liked the Airplane extras—SQH and MBJ are such a train wreck I just love them to death ?

TLDR: characters are great, translation is high quality, first half story is 5 stars, second half is 3 stars. I love it but I just wish the second half was as strong as the first half. <<less

It's a wonderful read, nicely written, with good pacing, with an interesting cultivation world that has: some beasts, some plants, some freaky swords that can open portals, all good stuff. A disease, that can reduce you into the pile of bones in several days? Perfection. Humor here is also nice, the whole situations of Shen Yuan trying to feet in "new shoes" and screaming constantly inside are amusing as hell. A good, solid transmigration-in-a-book story, which can hardly be said about a good portion of transmigration novels here - so... more>> it's very surprised me, that with such high quality writing™ there can be such issues.

Oh boy.

For a novel, claiming to have one, there is no actual romance. ML is obsessed due to having MC as the only person who ever treated him decently ("because you were nice to me" trope, but teachers kinda supposed to be like that), which is not exactly healthy... at all? MC is hardly shown to have any kind of emotion and affection towards ML except as a authority figure - he continues to call him a child to the very end. And ML is a very pitiful child, and as naive as one, so Shen Yuan can't just refuse him, can he, or certain someone will cry. And their sеx life is horrendous and it's no wonder why.

(You thought reading smut is a relaxing experience, but you look at smut here and. Just feel sad. If it hurts you don't do it!!! Even for your partner's sake, that's not how it should work. It may appear to some people as the realistic portrayal of slowly working with each other, learning each other bodies and such, but there is no progress at all~ and those emotional manipulations~ like stop crying you're not the one hurting what the hell maybe learn how to control yourself)

Character/development of romance is practically nonexistent: Binghe's circle "puppy crush - obsessed yandere - puppy crush BUT with bonus s*x failures" and SQQ's "what a good discipline - please don't kill me - what, you want to bang me? weird flex, but okay" (but after a few month of thinking not so deeply about it, saving the world and achieving one hell of a hemorrhoid that even cultivation can't fix). And that's all. A one sentence. Also there is not much opportunities to develop something, huuuh.

There is no love, no understanding, just blind devotion and hollow acceptance. And MC is not even behaving like himself which is another problem entirely. He's forced to play a certain role for a duration of the whole novel, so the writing of a "corrected version" remained consistent, which is the whole point of transmigration - to make the novel better. He's actually a tsundere and a tsukkomi, easily annoyed and vocal about it, and kinda of a fan boy, not a cool and collected master, but we see that only inside of his head and in interactions with other transmigrator. Even after the end of the plot. Such a thing is not very good for mental health, ya know.

Aaand I'm double sad now.

Side characters except for second pair of lovebirds are not so good as they could be and don't have a lot of substance, which is a pity.

SQQ also suffers from a common trait of MC's in transmigration novels - "I Do Not Understand That My Actions Have Consequences And That Everything Won't Be Exactly Like In The Novel I Read Once I Changed Some Things", which produce a nice thick layer of frustrating misunderstandings, but they could be understood... Or not! Some of them could be easily fixed with a few right words, but why would we do such thing - so sometimes it gets annoying.

The ending was rather lacking, as it didn't really solve things, but the main problem is, of course, one of the tags:

Spoiler

The r*pe! Yaaay!!! It was uncomfortable, it was unnecessary, it was not as dramatic as it tried to be. Why, just why.

[collapse]

Overall it's an entertaining read that has it's faults, the time is spend not in vain, but solely for the BL better go and read some fanfiction - SVSSS has a dedicated and really talented fandom. <<less

This is one of the books that I cannot let go. Of course, it's not MXTX's best work - at all - and it can't even compare to Mo Dao Zu Shi and Tian Guan Ci Fu. But out of all main characters from all three novels, I loved Luo Binghe and Shen Qingqiu the most. Why? Because they are flawed so much and because in some points they are realistic. I won't compare main characters of TGCF and MDZS with this because that would be mistaking frogs from grandmas... more>> (sorry idk english metaphor for this) and I don't even want to try.

But what makes them special IS THEIR characterization. The story itself is quite good once you get past the half of the book and stop judging both of main characters and instead read so you can understand them.

This is one of those books where it depends on reader's life experience to see and understand it. With different circumstances, the people live through this book differently.

This is a story of a Luo Binghe, the child that felt unwanted half of his life - to the point where his final shred of humanity was stripped by a villain of the story - Shen Qingqiu. But from SQQ's perspective, this was a normal way to kill a demon. After all, Luo Binghe is a demon and it was his right to do so. What wasn't right is that Shen Qingqiu never liked Luo Binghe and instead abused him. But why? Because Luo Binghe was everything Shen Qingqiu was not. They had the same beginnings, but in SQQ's eyes, LBH was the one who was lucky. He got saved. He didn't suffer through anything SQQ had to go through to reach where he is. And instead here he is, healthy, thriving, at perfect age to cultivate and discover his powers.

Too bad that they are just characters in book right? Well, Shen Yuan doesn't think so. Shen Yuan is avid fan of Proud Immortal Demon way, a story about Luo Binghe and his harem of 600 wives. But he's not here for the smut. Instead he's here for politics, plot, monsters and finally - Luo Binghe. You could say he's Luo Binghe's biggest fan.

But then he dies, and he transmigrates in the novel at the point where Luo Binghe was already initiated into the sect and SQQ had just begun abusing him. Doesn't help that Shen Yuan is now in body of Shen Qingqiu, to whom Luo Binghe did absolutely horrifying slow torture to, and now Shen Yuan - new Shen Qingqiu, has to fix things up!

With the help of transmigration sistem (or not help) he has to follow certain paths and plot points to try to evade his fate, but some things are meant to happen. Like the faithful Abyss when Luo Binghe is finally revelead to be Heavenly demon - the rarest demon in the world.

And suddenly, things don't go according to plan anymore.

There is a lot to unpack here in this novel. From abandonment issues, to abuse, to trauma survivors, to cycle of abuse and how to end it. Luo Binghe has always been sensitive to emotions, and yet, readers keep misunderstanding him - JUST LIKE SHEN YUAN DOES the entire time in the novel. Instead of talking, they keep misunderstanding each other and getting the wrong conclusions.

But I promise, in the end, it's all worthwhile. Especially when you read the final extras that complete the story.

Side characters are as always - fantastic. There is a lot to unpack here and so far they are very interesting.

Now for the warnings. This book has some warnings that you need to know:

Spoiler

child abuse, mu*der, extreme torture, emotional torture, implied csa (debatable) and one sided dubcon, that turned out to be talked about, wasn't swept under the rug and discussed properly.

[collapse]

OVERALL:

Characters: 5 - they just need time. They need insight. You need to have patience and understand both of them and how they made such mess of themselves.

Side characters: 4.5 - wonderful. They are very much explored, for many of them, there are even side stories that conclude their fates. They are well fleshed out and well done.

Story: 5 - easy to follow, very interesting. Real plot starts around chapter 50 when all things fall into place.

emotional impact: 6 - I spent months thinking of this book.

humor: 4.5 - wonderful, don't change!

This is real good (as expected from MXTX).

Firstly, the theme is rly basic and often seen. Yknow: getting transmigrated into a book and becoming the villian who is gonna get f*cked up by the protagonist of that book, so just lemme be real good to that protagonist from now on - Wait, wasn't I supposed to be f*cked up, why am I literally being f*cked now? Most of those types of books all end up looking similar, but Scum Villian doesn't. It's amazing how MXTX is able to take such... more>> a cliché base for a novel, and build it up to become so original.

So our MC Shen Qingqiu gets transmigrated into a book. The protagonist of that book is Luo Binghe. The character SQQ transmigrated in is LBH's shizun (also called Shen Qingqiu), who is rly abusive towards LBH. In the original story, LBH eventually becomes rly strong and bad and killed his shizun ShenQQ. Our transmigrated SQQ doesn't want to end up like that, so he tries to be good to LBH from now on while not going out of character. And somehow, LBH falls in love with this transmigrated SQQ. Dramatic.

SQQ's mission as a transmigrator, is to fill up the plot holes in this book-world. There were times when I was like "Lmao MXTX aren't you creating plot holes yourself now?" but somehow those holes were all covered up in the end! So MXTX could really do the honour to write a novel shading all plot hole stories, bc "plot hole" doesn't exist in her vocabulary.

Also, I hate toxic MLs. And MXTX is even to cover the toxicity of LBH, bc LBH only turns toxic under influence of demonic (?) powers. Iconic, I really can't pick any faults.

This novel is also heartbreaking, as you see LBH's desperate love for SQQ, and doesn't know that SQQ is influenced by a system. SQQ also doesn't understand LBH, as he relates the LBH in front of him to the previous LBH of the book. --≫ misunderstandings. It's always the misunderstandings.

Oh wait there is one down point, which is that I honestly doubt that LBH fell for our SQQ for who he truly is, bc SQQ is basically always in character (our never-OOC queen). He never reveals his true nature, and always has that mask of the previous SQQ on. <<less

A really fun read. I wasn't really into the main couple at first, because their relationship is very one-sided in the beginning and SQQ's falling in love seemed a little forced to me. My actual ideal pairing was LQG x SQQ ww. But the ending was cute, although beware of the, frankly, horrible s*x scene. It was painful to read. Please. Use lots of lube and foreplay. Why would you subject your characters to that. Why.

It is... okay? The only reason that I give it 4 and not 3 stars is purely because of the authors great writing style. It is not nearly as amazing of a novel as MDZS is, but it keeps you interested and it has the proper length not to bore the reader.

I am conflicted as to whether I love the MC-ML dynamic or not. Master and disciple, the latter a bit too obsessive over the former, the former a bit too romantically apathetic towards the latter. Somehow, while admittedly it... more>> still is a bit too bizarre how the MC from being appalled that the ML "turned" gay soon after they became lovers, the author makes it work in her favor and overall we get a decent story that was written nicely.

The plot is nothing extraordinary, more to the lacking side to be honest.

The secondary characters I couldn't care less about. Flat, flavorless, just meh. Not really memorable.

You know, the problem with this book is that I read her other work, Mo dao zu shi, and understandably had higher expectations. If you are making the same mistake as I did, let me advise you on something. You can definitely tell that these two books were made by the same author. Similar writing style, similar use of vocabulary etc. But, this being her first work, everything is a lot more sharp, immature and without a certain orientation. I am guessing this book was purely experimental.

Saying all that, let's not misunderstand; Compared to the average Chinese romance novel (not to mention bl) this is quite evidently of better quality, thus the good review. (Again, plot and experience wise deserving 3 stars, but whatever).

For anyone who doesn't know the author from her other works, do give this book a shot! <<less

The summary is pretty accurate but at the same time not really? Scum Villain is about the MC Shen Yuan, webnovel reviewer extraordinary, who dies cursing his most hated (but probably favorite, considering how he bought all the extras) novel and hence gets transmmigrated into the body its most hated villain Shen Qingqiu, master (shizun) of the protagonist ML Luo Binghe. The original Shen Qingqiu was a very cruel teacher and dies a very terrible death at the hands of the protagonist as revenge, so Shen Yuan decides he'll do... more>> his best to "hug the protagonist's thighs" to save his life (or at least die a painless death) and becomes incredibly kind to him. Luo Binghe, a white lotus and a genuinely good person when he was a child, forgives every past bad treatment and becomes very devoted to his master. However Shen Yuan, being bound to a system, has to fulfill certain plot points that involve betraying Luo Binghe and once the main one is fulfilled it all goes to shit.

Not gonna lie, this is my favorite novel. The characters all have depth and are very loveable, even minor ones. Binghe is a very dedicated disciple/lover that gets misunderstood a lot by Shen Yuan (and hence the reader) because of his misconceptions regarding the original timeline. He becomes a "maiden" because he learns that the way to Shen Yuan's heart is to be spoiled and cry a lot, which I honestly can't blame him for because Shen Yuan is dense af and gets embarrassed super easily, so it makes it easier on himself if Luo Binghe is the shameless one. I love Shen Yuan a lot too, he can be super obtuse but it's always played in a comical way and the reader KNOWS he's a dumbass for not realizing how much people came to love him, not only LBH but all his sect brothers.

Scum Villain's romance is focused in overcoming misunderstandings, learning how to communicate and reaching compromises. Despite SY not realizing himself how important LBH is to him at the beginning, he always does his best to protect him from all harms, and LBH does his best to do the same. You can really feel the love between the two. The side ship (s) is (are) one of my favorites too. MXTX has this gift that makes her able to make you care a lot about minor characters too, the original Shen Qingqiu isn't even present in the story at all (besides a few extras) and I love him to death.

All in all, totally recommended! It's a pretty light read and will make you smile/laugh (unless you think too deeply about it and realize how tragic the story must've been from Binghe's perspective RIP) <<less

Greatly annoyed at Shen Yuan (the mc) , b*tch, you reap what you sow. It's your fault for LBH being like that, Shen Yuan should've at least handled the consequences but no LBH is the one suffering for it (because of that Bingmei doesn't even have any person he's close with except SY, MBJ keeps a professional relationship with him so I can't even call them friends) (It's f*cking sad thay LBH only has SY, SY can surely live without Bingmei but BINGMEI CAN'T EVEN LIVE WITHOUT SY) ... more>> (This gets me so annoyed, poor Bingmei, poor Bingge too *since Bingge literally has no one, hopefully he finds the one in his dimension jumping*) (R.I.P cinnamon rolls ZZL and GYZ).

At least the author's quality improved on FOD/GDC. Personally, this was handled poorly with many injustices. Ending was incredibly shallow, the real romance of SY and Bingmei starts in the extra apparently..... WTF author, SY didn't even cultivate feelings in the entirety of the novel and now author is bullshitting by having the romance happen in the extras (WTF WAS I READING, I was basically reading shounen, no hint of f*cking romance in the middle of the story. f*ck. it's in the extras (・・) I'm so triggered)

I have so many typos but meh

Airplane bro x Mobei-Jun and the 7 x 9 (Yue Qingyuan x Shen Jiu) pairing kept me going tbh <<less

I have already read this for three times already. I mtled this so my brain was fried, cooked and became soup. But... Truly worth it!!!

It was a slow burn romance where the MC didnt even know the ML has a thing for him until the ending, where harmony saves the world ^_^

The s*x scenes are so hoooot, you'll burn, especially on the extra pages.

Also love all the side characters. They are so lovable and protective.

The meta-humor alone in this novel makes it worth reading- but I'd highly suggest you track down the translated extras as they massively change how you look at the novel as a whole- this is mxtx not taking herself too seriously and just having fun and it shows

Hands down this is the best yaoi novel I have read by far:

-great plot

-amaizing characters

... more>> -i love fantasy stories

So I would recommend it to everyone, except the "I don't like yaoi kind of people", to Wich I say: I read and see a lot of straight romance and none of it make me straight, so reading something that has gay characters isn't gonna make you gay... So if you don't like yaoi don't come here to give a bad review, cause nobody cares about your homophobic issues and nobody ask for your opinion. <<less

Good novel, good translation with good Chinese idioms/profound words explained at every chapter end. That's why it's 5/5.

For some people who give this novel 1-2, IMO,
Spoiler

they require literature maturity. Not their fault. This short novel is so full of Chinese heritage gags and puns and idioms which're not limited to only ancient, but very model era too.

[collapse]

For example, the ID name of MC and the pen name of the worst scum very bad novel writer.

***
This novel likes the durian. Not for every one.

If you can't laugh until you vomit your heart out from the Pen Name of the worst scum very bad novel writer, this novel is not for you.
***

Story has a lot of 180-degree-turn of plots. It's so straight (for most readers) and at the same time, sleeve-cutting subtle. The false MC is dead from 1st chapter. Good luck that his soul is transmigrated to the novel world in his last breath. Good luck that he's reborn as the very powerful character.

Bad luck that that character is the very bad scum villain.

He has to kill the MC so the story could continue. But he can not do that. Because he knows that in any novel, anyone who opposes the (ordinary) MC will die the misery dead (except the beauty, which will be automaticly turned in to MC harem's member). Not to mention killing the Super Supreme MC.

But if he can't kill the MC, he will die from plot failure and return to the real world which he already slept six feet under ground.

Worse, if he successly kills the MC, he (the MC) will be reborn as the Super Supreme MC. Anyone should know what'd happen to the antagosist who treats the Super Supreme MC very, very bad.

So this migrated scum villain false MC have to change the super-strong real MC into the docile one without changing the MC fate.

Brain hole? Yes, that's why this 200, 000, 000-words review novel is the must that everyone should read. Because it's so full of word filling chapters, plot holes wide enough to fill this earth, 3000-beauties harem of every genre with xxx scenes for every desires.

Last word.

If this novel is not good enough for 5/5 rating, there'd be so much fanfics.

Most imortant W-A-R-N-I-N-G

This novel is male-male sweet love story. So brace your heart as there will be
Spoiler

no pa-pa-pa scene, no deep kiss, no female harem, no male harem, no boy love, no blood river scene.
